We enjoyed this well-appointed room, with its comfortable king-size bed, an armchair, a desk and chair, large screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and ample closet space. The front-desk person was friendly and helpful, and so was the maintenance man who responded promptly to fix a problem we had inadvertently created. We also appreciated the plentiful printed information in the lobby about sights and activities available in the local area and the larger region. The motel is located next door to Bubba’s, a popular diner open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – a great convenience for a quick meal. In comparison with the positives, these hardly seem worth mentioning; but I’ll offer them as suggestions for improvement of their service which is already excellent. The electric outlet on my side of the bed had only one plug for an electric appliance and one USB port. I used the plug for my laptop, but I had to run the cord for my CPAP from the outlet in the bathroom; luckily, the cord was just long enough. There was only one hand towel; I notice that another review mentioned this, so I believe it may be a customary feature rather than a mistake. I think they should provide two hand towels when there are two guests in the room.

I took my puppy and she ended up with ticks! And our 2 nights sucked the people up above us where noisy and loud . Then there was people outside yelling obscenities I mean it was a freaking circus .. but the HUSBAND AND WIFE ARE AWESOME PEOPLE

Room 132 Clean & comfortable. Very nice mattress & bedding. Good towels but we could have used one more hand towel. Nice shower with good water pressure. Convenient to restaurants & shopping. Short ride to Mexico. Toilet was a bit funky. It didn't always have enough water in the tank for a full flush. So we had to wait for the tank to refill before we could get it to all go down. We could periodically hear the water turn on in the tank (like it was refilling) when the bathroom wasn't being used. Nice closet but no hangers. I asked if I could get a couple but no one ever brought any. I also asked if we could have another hand towel but that never came either.

Bed bugs found, pool not heated

Great location in the middle of town. Clean. Criminal activity. Crying children and occasional woman screaming. Staff appearingly completely oblivious to persistent constant distressing noises

Was very clean and staff was great. Unfortunately there is a bar right next door. Very loud until quite late. Beds are the hardest I have for ever slept in so no sleep at this place.

Great parking. I was pulling a trailer. Looks like they are redoing all the rooms. Mine was great. No fridge. But there was coffee. Great value.

Close to lots of things, nice room! AC worked, & clean room! Quiet for sleeping! Fountain could be fixed! nicer amenities for bathroom-Needed hair dryer!

Great place to chose while in Yuma or in your way for affordable health care in Nogales.

I understand it is only a $60 hotel but it was very bad. Staff was great nothing wrong with that side of things but the room was awful. The door has gaps you see through and multiple bugs on the floor. Everything was extremely old and gross. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The outside is not real nice yet. They are working on it and should be great when they get done. We will recommend the site to our friends.

Young truckers, etc. I'd prefer vagabonds and real travelers -- this is just that "off place" where someone really dangerous could slip through the cracks. Filthy around every crevice, just really, really, really not a good vibe. I love down home - I love the open road and a strange place. This is the not-good strange place.

Confused as to how this place has such good reviews, room was desperately in need of some TLC. It smelled damp, furniture was old with holes in desk and bedside table, mattress was old and sagged on one side, there was a leaky roof in the main coffee area and a puddle of water on the floor

Their beds are quite fine -- but if they really want to play in the bigger leagues they'll need to get more luxurious mattresses. Eventually they'll also probably need to update the doors to the rooms.

Loud noise all night long. When I complained I was told I could leave. Bathroom windows wouldn't close. Bad part of town

Cantina truck setup in the parking lot attracting a lot of noise. Room was clean, safe. Lacked decent blankets and multiple towels. Bedframe didnt support bed very well. Can tell owners are trying to improve the property which is a bonus. Would stay again but would bring my own blankets and towels. A few tweaks are needed.

Very friendly front desk manager. (I sadly forgot his name.) The room was comfortable and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again when I return in a few months.

clean and freshly painted rooms, the pool and surrounding area is also clean and well kept. Location is accessible and convenient, the operators are friendly and competent.

The location was fairly close to what we were doing. They apparently have people who live in the rooms. The ones above us were constantly dragging something heavy across the tile floors, the ones on the side of flared their TV and radio, talked loud, stood outside smoking during the day and even in the middle of the night, talking loud. The room smelled funny to top it off. There was no getting any rest, I would not stay there again. The bed was old and sagged along the edge.

The guest above us had his tv on all night and we could hear it. Thats not a property issue but i couldn't sleep. Our room is probably still being redone, paint needs to be cleaned off of the baseboard tiles, pictures on the walls, clean hand towel (looked like snot on it, yes only one) could have a second hand towel.

Lol, the staff gave me the best room available, fully furnished and painted. It is pet friendly because they barbeque pets for lunch and dinner, lol, no just kidding. Pool was cool and very clean, so clean you can clearly see your foot.

While I would classify this property as a no-frills hotel, the rooms were large and very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again a good bargain.

I don't use their Internet since I have my own, The lodge was close to several restaurants and buses stops. The employees were very courteous and help and even had coffee in room and in the lobby. The pool was clean and always at right temperature, as well as the room air conditioner was pleasant to feel. And for the right price. I would recommend torch light lodge for a good weekend
