Well when I check in I expect my room to be cleaned even if I pay weekly they obviously don't like to clean the rooms if you're stay over guest and the toilets don't seem very clean they need to be bleached and floor needs to be cleaned with better chemicals and their sheets and towels look like they're from the 90s they definitely need to upgrade and stop being cheap

Location Shame on the owner for spending all that money on remodeling the rooms and making them beautiful but the last couple years nothing has been done to maintain it. They now look like they need to be redone. Will send pictures.

Room not cleaned - old pizza from previous guest in fridge, hair in tub. Only washcloths, no towels. No hangers despite photos. Empty pool advertised as amenity. Shower curtain flooded floor, no bath mat.

AC unit was in the sun, the coldest tap water was over 100, no ice machine. Checked in to get over hear exhaustion, but I got worse. Left after 20 minutes.

Price & location When mopping the bathroom the baseboards had absorbed all of the floor dirt. The bathroom baseboards need to be cleaned and repainted. If showering in the bathtub there is no handle to assist stepping over the tub rim. There was no flip over security device on the exterior door.

I was upset that my room was hot no ac on. tv did not work went to front desk asked him to change out tv while I was out fishing and he told me that he would change it after I returned. I told him it would be after 2 am and he said that I did not need the tv if I was getting back that late.

Well, the room air conditioner did not work which made it horrible and miserable. There was no cold water at all and the hot water was intolerable to take a bath. The room next door to me clouple complained to me about the air conditioner and the hot water that burned them, on top of that they got locked out because key knob was not operating and they had to switch room.

Price. Definitely not as clean as the last time I stayed there.

I saw some bad reviews but I don’t know why. The room was very clean and smelled good. It was a large room with a comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, a microwave and mini fridge and a small table to eat or work at. Three water pressure was good and the temperature in the shower was easy to set and stayed consistent. Overall a great value for the price. Much better than the chains imo. Nothing it was great.

WINDOW wouldn't lock. Inside of room was a bit dated. Could use some updating. There was no ice machine and no ice available except through the owners own ice (from his own fridge....we weren't sure.) We just didn't get any. Owner was very nice and came to put something in our window so it couldn't be opened by a stranger. a little more updated on the inside, a table, microwave

The desk clerk was very helpful and cheerful. The room was roomy. The room was remodeled with quality materials and with much better than average decorating skills. The TV was a larger than usual motel size. The room was significantly cleaner than other Yuma motels that I have stayed at in this price range. I would have liked to have an interior flip over lock on the door. Also, a handicap bar in the tub to make showering safer.

I can’t say enough about how happy my stay was. From the moment I came through the door the staff (family run) were warm and inviting. The room was great, clean and restful. Location is within walking distance for groceries or restaurants. If your looking for a affordable place the ElRancho is the place to be

This is an older hotel. The rooms are a good size and the bed I slept on was very comfortable. They have lots of television channels, refrigerators and microwave in every room. While they maybe due for a few upgrades on the property-this was a very nice place to stay!

This property was scummy, the cold water didn’t work…which is crazy! And other people said their room was the same way. Never stay here, it should be condemned. The empty pool in the middle of the property should be a dead give away.

Do not stay here! The first room had hot air coming out of the AC so we switched rooms after the front desk came in and felt the hot air. But the next room was still so hot we had to wet our clothes &we had a baby with us! I wanted a cold shower for me & the baby but that was not possible & the water was so hot it would've burned your skin. The pool was bone dry, the beds had dirt all over the comforter & the towels had black dirt all over them. There was no ice machine, just a tiny bag of ice from the front that clearly came out of a refrigerator ice maker of their own. We were sweating from head to toe after 2 hours so I asked the front if I could get my money back cuz we had to go to another hotel. She said yes so we left and got a room elsewhere with everything you'd expect and need from a hotel room. Then I was told by hotels.com that the woman who said she would refund me wanted to charge me $25 for cleaning even though we were there less than 2 hours and only moved the comforters a bit because it was too dirty to sit on them and way too hot. So I called her, she was very rude, argued with me for a while & blamed the AZ weather. But I finally got her to stick to her word & refund my money for the 2 awful hours that we sat in front of the AC with no change in comfort. This really was upsetting after driving for 8 hours and wanting to just relax for a bit. Save yourself the trouble and go to a better hotel. It's not worth saving 20 bucks or so a night to be miserable.

Were it not for my Expedia discount, it would have been a little pricey for what it actually was, but it was sufficient. Still, consider a continental breakfast, or at least a coffee/tea maker in the room -- and definitely an ice machine! But it was functional enough for passing on through.

Our host was helpful and pleasant. The unit lacked the basics. No hand soap or tissues. No reading lamp. The shower faucet did not work at all and just luke warm water at the sink. I realize the low cost was my choice but I won't return.

The place was not very clean. Stains on the sides of the matress, dead bedbug in the bed (at least it was dead), dirty fridge and table tops

The rooms were clean and the staff was pleasant. The pool was closed and it looked like it had been closed for some time. The parking lot was rough and the road was busy and noisy, although it did calm down at night so sleeping wasn’t too bad.

Bed was a lil loud with lil movement, but i have nothing bad to say about El Rancho its no 5 star resort but i felt safe the room was actually nicer than i was expecting fast easy check in i would stay here again if i was headed to Yuma again!

Very nice owners were patient w/me while checking into this room. I completed my booking online and then struggled w/the software. Assuming my room was paid for online when I provided my Visa #. Room was clean comfortable and well accommodated w/a table chairs, fridge, microwave. Only negative was that the ice machine was broken.

A table light that's not so BRIGHT! The lighting is either blasting or off! A safety rail in the shower would be wonderful to hang onto. Lastly. A bigger bar of soap! The one supplied is too tiny and not real soapy! Otherwise a nice place for a night or two.

Not everyone is honest these days, and it really struck home that it’s honesty and care for others … is hard to find. The fact that the staff was pleasant, accommodating, AND HONEST, left me with a very good impression of this place. A decent motel, to say the least!

Good alternative to Vegas, pleasantly easy and scenic drive. Convenient to supermarket across the street. Uber is $12 to get to kokopah casino. I'll be back!

My wife advise me that we will never stay here again. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. The air conditioner kept her up. The neighbors started talking louldly outside the room from 3:00 AM on till 5:00. The only positive was a good location for us shopping and eating. We appreciate the recomendation the owner made for a good Indian restaurant, that was fantastic.

It's a cool older hotel, have stayed here for almost 30 years. Too bad the pool is no longer in operation. If you like the old school motel style place, this is it.

My onpy complaint is the towels. The privacy, location, and overall feep was great.

While the eoom was very clean, there was no chair(s) to sit in. There were no hooks for clothes. There was no radio or clock. There were no lamps for each side of bed, but there were overhead lights, but not so usable. There was no coffeemaker but evidently there was cofee in lobby. These are rather basics and standard at competitor motels in area.

The stay was excellent very comparable and compromising on my checkout time and I extended an extra day no problems
