This property night one gave me a rash all over my chest and had to go get it checked out while on a business trip. Bugs and chemical burns on my body from this. Staff was extremely rude and wouldn’t give me a full refund and still charged me 150$ for the one night I stayed and had this incident

My husband and I shared the jetted room, it was clean and welcoming. Maybe a little cold from the AC running but it was a warm environment with friendly staff and a clean property. Would recommend staying here to a friend or family

We asked if they could help us with the shuttle to and from the airport which they said they could over the phone, but when we got to the hotel they said no bc we booked through hotels.com

Clean room, very well maintained facility, cheerful staff, and the usual decent Holiday Inn breakfast. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will be back again.

They lost my reservation so I had to book another room at a significantly higher price. We were flying out the next morning from a wonderful trip and this was a terrible way for it to end. The person at the front desk did not seem very knowledgeable and admitted that she was new. I now question whether to use Expedia again as this is the second time that we had an issue with a reservation.

Easy check in. The breakfast was better than most in this category of hotel. The hotel is outdated and the beds were small and uncomfortable, like very old beds with little to no support. The phone in the room was disconnected and there was no way to plug it in. So no way to contact the front desk or leave a wake up call. We had to go to down to the front desk because the wifi did not work properly.

Fast and easy check in.

Terrific breakfast, loved using their fresh coffee machines. Room and bed very comfortable. Plenty of complimentary parking and plenty of restaurants nearby by. Easy access to and from Interstate 5. Hotel is located less than 10 miles from Sacramento International Airport.

All that can be expected for an airport vicinity hotel. Breakfast was available at 6:00 am. Room was quiet, AC wasnt too loud, everything was very good

I booked through Booking.com. It appears from my Capital One credit card $285.00 was paid to Booking.com, not the hotel. I cancelled my reservation through Booking.com being in the Ice Storm and couldn't make my flight. I never heard from Booking.com but your website says above you never heard back from Holiday Inn Express Woodland and said I should contact them direct which I just did and they said denied they were ever paid by Booking.com. It appears Booking.com didn't contact the hotel to cancel my reservation? It seems Booking.com owes my a refund. This whole experience has been a bad experience.

This is tough to change: the walls are thin and don’t stop sound from neighboring rooms. Was woken up thrice at various times in the middle of the night.

Clean, very comfortable and the room did not smell of chemicals like so many rooms smell like these days. Air conditioner in the hallway was so loud I heard it in the room even though I was 3 rooms away. The walls seemed a little thinner than they ought to be and I could see light all around the door which let in sound.

Property is well located for our travel needs with easy access to old town Woodland. Excellent choices of eateries in that area. Hotel needed to update spa and monitor water levels

The room was more than we expected, it was great!

The breakfast was great. Plenty of towels. But the doorknob on the first room was useless. I switched to another room and the next day discovered standing water in the bathtub; Then the lights in the bathroom lickered, like all the time. Quaint hotel, good enough but not for upgrading. Disappointed.

They need to put families with children on the bottom floors!!!! We couldn’t sleep because there was a family with 3 boys upstairs jumping and stomping all day and night. It’s common sense. Staff needs to do better at evaluating the needs of the visitors. The breakfast wasn’t great but better than nothing. The only thing i can give 10/10 on is the housekeeping. They were phenomenal.

Our room was clean and the night staff was extremely helpful. She brought us a crib and was so helpful with making sure our stay was comfortable for every member of my family. The staff member was sweet and kind and was attentive to anything anyone needed at 10:30 pm.

The only thing that I can complain about is that my room wasn’t ready after 3pm. We had to wait until it was clean. Other than that, the service was good overall.

Every thing was excellent except the wakeup call did not work. Fortunately we had our own alarm as well. We appreciated the "breakfast in a bag" we got for a very early departure.

We chose a room with a jacuzzi. It was great. I'm a little immobile at this time so being on the 1st floor near everything was perfect.

Facilities are nice and clean. Not the cleanest ive been too but good. Beds are pretty firm, not the most comfortable but get thw job done. Pool is small, hot tub is really just a bathtub with air bubbles, no jets. Staff seems friendly, there is shopping close by but i wouldn't just walk around to get out.

The room was right next to the entrance to the elevator, it was very noisy especially in the morning when guests rolled their suitcase through the floor.

First time staying in this property. Staff was great and reception area was exceptional. The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars was because the AC unit in our roof was a little loud especially during bed time. Also the chair in the room looked like it needs to be replaced due to wear and tear.

Overall, it was an average hotel. Average breakfast. However, the night clerk, whose name was Jack did an exceptional job of checking me in and making us feel welcome. He was the outstanding characteristic of our stay. I highly commend him.

Internet is an absolute MUST, and this hotel FAILED MISERABLY. The front desk's idea of helping is to provide the number for tech support. I spent an HOUR on the phone with tech support for an issue that NEVER should have happened - login failure due to last name / room number not matching their records at login. Most of my time on the phone was spent on hold, and they had to manually enter the IP address and MAC address for every device I wanted to connect. There was clearly something wrong at their end, and they admitted that it was not an isolated incident, yet their first suggestion was for me to try a different browser...ridiculous!. I will NEVER stay at ANY IHG property again. You burned up an hour of my time, which is worth far more than I paid for the room. Not only should my stay be free, but on top of that you OWE me money.

Was a quick pit stop on a road trip, half way mark traveling frm Portland to San diego. Only stayed one night. Room was clean, staff was really nice and the continental breakfast was good. Would stay again.

We started in room 315 all was good until my kids went and pulled the the sofa bed out and the mattress had blood stains and food the front desk moved us to room 317 and we had a day party the next day so we had so much stuff to move and get comfy late at night the get up at 5 am to shower no hot water we had asked to speak to management but was denied that so no manager on site we called cause we had to wait for room keys cause 317 had been blocked prior to this they put the shower faucet on backwards so u have to find the right spot then we used hot tub and pool not up kept gross stuff in it asked front desk when we asked for towels if she could skim it again we asked for management not one available then he called our room husband was in pool I let him know five mins is all he was on site did wanna resolve the issue or speak to us as a customer pictures won’t load for some reason I posted pic of mattress and the shower head that’s hot and the shower curtain rod was broke so water gets all over toilet and wall poor management

This was my first stay at this hotel. I’ve stayed at many in the area and was very pleased with the experience. Fast and easy check in. Better than usual breakfast. Most importantly it was very clean and quiet.

CONS: My only complaint was the scrambled eggs, which did not taste like real eggs. "Dove" lotion and conditioner were clearly not the Dove brand. The lotion smelled like rancid oil and the conditioner was more like watered down shampoo. The bathroom door would not stay open which made it uncomfortable to use the vanity after a hot shower.

Great place to stay if you are flying out of Sacramento Airport early in the morning.

We really like this place it was very clean, we had the jacuzzi tub which was in excellent condition. This place we said was probably the nicest place since we stayed in the Bay area on the beach. You can eat and do anything and you don't have to drive very far to Old Sacramento or places that you could enjoy with your family. We actually plan on staying again. Only downfall is the day that they pick to make vegetarian omelettes were meat eaters but on their buffet breakfast they have different options every day so we just happen to go to the day they had vegetable omelets other than that we were able to get nice and full on the breakfast. There cinnamon rolls were amazing

Staff was friendly. After checking in to my room, I was changing near the closet and realized the floor was sopping wet; my socks were soaked. I requested to change rooms as I walked through the lobby. Not a problem. But when I asked to buy a bag of chips, it might have been nice to offer those at no charge considering I had to move rooms? I was placed in a much nicer room. Front desk didn't know which rooms were quiet; I had to point out that the side away from the highway might be a good option. Front desk didn't know about area dining options. You mean fast food? Rooms are poorly lit if you need light. Conveniently located near a shopping mall with a Red Robin restaurant, which was a good nearby option.

Our stay was great here. The staff was very friendly. We loved that they had extras of anything that you would need if you forgot it. The hotel was very clean, nice and just a comfortable stay all around. I would definitely come back every single time I come back here for baseball.
