Comfort Suites Woodland - Sacramento Airport

Got back to my room my shorts and bed sheets were off the bed.

Filthy room, curtains had stains all over them. The lamps were brown from never being clean. The bed had stains on the sheets. The carpet had stains everywhere. We left at 12 am after checking in at 8pm.

Friendly & helpful staff! Free breakfast was delicious. Gotta love the waffle bar! Parking was adequate. Just wish this hotel had a pool & jacuzzi.

Good stay before a flight

On our last day of the stay, We woke up to a fresh room from the AC. We had a good rest and even got to have some breakfast. The breakfast was fresh and warm, even an hour after it was put out. It filled us up because there was a generous selection of food. The person at the desk was nice and polite. We will be coming back.

Our go to place when flying out of SAC Airport. They provide Park and Fly, their rates are competitive and are in a location close to shopping and restaurants.

Upon our arrival, which was three hours late due to a flight delay, the front desk staff was incredibly accommodating. However, when we got to our room, we found hair on the bathroom floor and a questionable brown smear on the towels. We returned to the front desk, and they promptly moved us to a different room, apologizing profusely for the oversight and even offering complimentary snacks for the trouble. I also sent them photos of the issues. Another downside was the low water pressure in the shower. Despite these hiccups, I would still recommend the hotel for its excellent staff, delicious breakfast, and convenient parking and accessibility.

The front desk staff were great, and my room was super clean. As a solo traveler I felt safe. I'll stay again when I need to be close to the airport.

The breakfast was terrible. I travel so much and having a breakfast is important. There were microwaved eggs and really small limp bacon. The usual waffles were about the only thing edible. I stay at this hotel chain and this was the worst I have had. This chain of hotels is usually better. The rest was OK.

It was not far from the airport. Nice service. Everything was fast and the people were polite. The lemon water was fantastic. We arrived late, and we were still able to check in. The breakfast was fabulous. No complaints.

The first time we stayed here our power was out and it was big storm and they actually let our dogs stay. It’s a facility where they don’t let animals, but it was a big mess in woodland second time just recently we stayed. It’s because we had a power outage and they gave us parking for free. It was perfect. We couldn’t ask for anything better. Staff was great. Accommodations were great. The bed was amazing. The room was amazing. We had everything we needed, and staff was amazing.

Room was very clean. I don’t recall paying an additional $10 parking fee during my stay last year. It seems unnecessary given that most guests reach your hotel by car, and instead of acting to create additional revenue, it deters me, and possibly some other guests, from returning.

Spacious room, although some minor repairs/upkeep were needed. Staff was lovely, bed was great. Was surprised to be charged $10 should I want to park in the hotel lot. This was a fiest for me. Plenty of parking on the street, as was my choice.

Unfortunately, my friends and I discovered dried blood on one of the blankets in one of the two rooms we booked. We didn’t notice it right away because we only dropped off our things, changed clothes, and immediately left to attend a concert. We only found out about it later. As guests, this was definitely a lesson learned for us to always inspect the blankets and mattress upon check-in. Still, proper cleanliness should be a basic standard that guests should not have to worry about.

The motel is easy on/off the freeway with lots of free parking. Checking was quick anything you might want to eat is nearby. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot/cold items. The room was clean and spacious.

I was not told there was a parking fee of $10 until I checked in. That should have been clearly stated in the booking but the source of the problem could be Expedia and not the hotel.

I didn't hear the adjacent rooms, but I'm not sure if anyone was in them. You'll definitely here footsteps from upstairs and the traffic. Parking was $10 for the entire stay. I didn't bother touching the breakfast after I found the cockroach. Will not be staying here again.

We were only in for a one night stay with a very early departure time, so we did not have time for breakfast or other ammentiy use. Room was clean and comfortable, as always, and the staff is great.

This was a great find.. especially if you’re taking someone to the airport the following day. We had an event in Sacramento and we loved not having to fight commute traffic to get to a hotel. Staff was extremely pleasant and breakfast was great. The breakfast host was a delightful gracious person.

It’s one of the very few comfort inn’s that’s located in a good area. Woodland ca is the outskirt suburban area of Sacramento. It’s away from the highly traffic and most populated areas of the city. Good area, but still it’s the comfort inn. So, don’t expect a luxury experience at all.

The room wasn’t completely cleaned-the trash was not emptied out. The breakfast was ok. I didn’t like the fact that we had to pay $10.00 for parking. What was it for? I didn’t see a security guard watching the cars. Overall, the price was cheaper than other hotels so I can’t complain.

Tried to charge $10 for unsecured self parking. Said they couldn’t do anything about it, was the owners decision and only the owner could speak to the parking fee. If they want to charge for parking it should be included in rate. Listing said free self parking but really only if you park in the street off the property. An elderly couple checking in at the same time was very upset as well.

The room was surprisingly big, with very high ceiling it made it really nice.

The staff was so nice from the moment I entered the door. Check in was a smooth easy process. The room was very clean. Air conditioning worked well. $10 was taken from my security deposit for parking. There is no mention anywhere that there is a charge, and parking is shown on Booking.com as an amenity. This was very deceptive in both hiding the fee and then taking it from my security deposit without my knowledge or approval.

Hotel was very nice and the rooms were spacious and clean. Jonathan at the front desk and Jonathan who maintained the breakfast bar were both extremely courteous and professional, and helped to make our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Rooms, location, and cleanliness are great. We went to Costco a couple of times, in-n-out, proximity to restaurants, walmart and other places is great. Rooms were great and the beds are comfortable. The staff is super attentive at front desk. Lauren and Jonathan were corteous, professional and very attentive. The young fella in the breakfast area was super nice and attentive. Great experience, great staff. I will be staying here again. Erick New Braunfels, TX

Very nice and modern. Room was in excellent shape with very nice furnishings. This ranks right up there with Marriotts and Hiltons but for 1/2 the cost. Nice breakfast and very courteous staff.

I arrived on a last minute stay! The gentleman checking me in that night was great, and extremely friendly!! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was a clean kept space with great options, plan to make this a weekly spot as I come in to town to ride my horses that are in the area in training!

Normally we are very happy with our choices on Expedia however this is the first time we have encountered a property that used a bogus photo, we actually drove past this dated lodging thinking there's no way as the photo is of a nice newer hotel, very dishonest . After presenting our credit card for " incidentals " we were informed that we were being charged $10 per night for parking, no where was this disclosed on Expedia . This lodging despite the name is a 15 minute ride to the airport therefore we were extremely surprised about this sneaky charge! One might expect to pay for parking on an airport property but certainly not miles away in the middle of nowhere on low value property.

Our only complaints were the WiFi is frustrating because for free WiFi you have to continuously sign in and our wheely desk chair was definitely on its way out. As my 9 year old said, “the chair is sketch”. Over all it was a wonderful experience and we will be back

The hotel listed an electric vehicle charging station in their amenities. I only booked with them because of that. When I got there I was told it wasn’t working. Sorry. Fortunately I still had enough charge in the morning to make it to a station. But very inconvenient.

The room was perfect except for the climate control. Heat was full hot or you manually turned it off. Breakfast wasn’t open yet but they made us a brown bag which was nice. My real complaint is the $10 charge for parking. It was free the last time we stayed. Just my opinion but the price listed on Expedia should be the total price charged.

This is really more of an expedia issue, but they do charge $10 per car for parking and there is nowhere on the expedia listing that indicates a parking charge. It was collected upon check in. I just called and because of the situation, they were very kind and said yes, there is a ten dollar parking fee. They're going to call expedia right away to get it corrected.

The staff was so friendly upon on arrival and when we had checked out. Parking was easy to find even when arriving later than expected. Felt so good with the A/C and our bed sheets kept us very cozy. I would actually say I slept like a baby in our bed. The room was clean for the most part. I would just say and this I know is not their fault but whomever was in our room before hand left a very bad cigarette smell in our bathroom. Luckily staff was able to note it down for us so we wouldn’t be held accountable. Would definitely stay here again!

First floor there is water leaking on the ceiling. And addition to that parking is not free is not even Las Vegas why customers need to pay parking. Maybe next time they will charge resort fee as well haha.

We booked a handicapped accessible room as we were recovering from knee surgery. The room was spacious, clean, accommodating and mostly perfect. My one demerit would be that one of the mattresses had a large depression in it right where I wanted to sleep. That made for a restless night of avoiding that area and sleeping around it. Sounds like an easy fix for the money people pay. The accessible bathroom was spacious and the perfect size to have room to manuever after knee surgery and using crutches. I wish the bathtub/shower area was larger however, as trying to get an injured knee in and out was tough. All-in-all it was a great stay for the 2 nights we were there and I would definitely stay here again if the price is right.

The room was not vaccumed well so there was food on the floor adjacent to the bed. There was also food stuck to the wooden side of the bed. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities and easy check in.

Had a quick stay before our flight out in the morning and couldn't be happier. Staff, especially Grace, was wonderful, rooms were large and beds were very comfortable. Costco, Walmart, and Target all nearby, if you need them, and lots of restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Will definitely stay again during our travels!

Check in was easy and parking was close by. Room is basic but clean.

My fiancée and I stayed for three days and it was perfect! We were greeted with a smile and a welcome as soon as we walked in from the lady at the front desk. Check in was super easy and quick! We got a room on third floor. It was a super nice room with a king bed, a couch/sitting area with a microwave and safe which was great. We also got a call almost immediately from the front desk lady (wish I would have remembered her name) to ask how we liked the room and if we needed anything! Very thoughtful! Excellent customer service! The king bed was very comfortable! The air condition worked great! It wasn’t motion censored to keep it on (like I had read in a review, which I am not sure why they thought that, maybe they didn’t have it adjusted correctly?) We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for anyone but also for sure for anyone who is traveling! It is very convenient as if it were a small apartment! Close to shopping and food/restaurants. Thank you so much!

Expedia shows there’s a free airport shuttle, that’s why I booked this place, but I called the hotel to get on the shuttle and was told there is no shuttle. Not a huge deal, but was looking forward to a free shuttle. The lady at the front desk, when I arrived, was absolutely amazing! Friendly, helpful and made me feel so comfortable and welcomed! The room was big and mostly clean. The main areas of the room had been cleaned but there was definitely thick dust and spider webs around the edges of the wall, couch and desk. It didn’t completely ruin my stay. It was very quiet and clean everywhere else. I would stay again.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean. The tub in the room was VERY slippery. Someone really needs to do something about that. I had to hang on to the handle the whole time I took a shower to prevent myself from falling.

The room was clean and items were stocked for soap and coffee. I liked the convenience of having a microwave and stove in the room. I also liked that when we got to the room the recipionist called to check in with us to see if the room was to our liking. She was very attentive and kind.

When trying to check in they told us they have no rooms and we couldn’t get a refund! We had to sleep in our car! Worst customer service I’ve experienced! Will never stay at a comfort suites again!

The room was fine and clean. Don’t stay here because it comes with breakfast. The food was mediocre at best and the coffee from their automated machine was undrinkable.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It was just a quick stay overnight before an airport trip. We had an early flight and the front desk offered us a to-go breakfast, we were leaving at 4:45am. It was ready to go and perfect! So much appreciated!

Comfort Suites have spacious rooms with convertible sofa, club chair, desk and chair and - most importantly - an enclosed dressing/shower/toilet area. After all, who wants to dress and undress in front of the family, right?

Very coachable accommodations

Very nice room. Especially nice that the dressing area is enclosed in the bath/shower/toilet area. Two very comfortable queen-size beds with a separate couch and desk area. So much better than the competition.

Sad to see that the breakfast has been reduced from a variety of hot items (sausage, tortillas, cheese and salsa - all gone) to just very greasy low quality bacon and powdered eggs and English muffins as the only choice for proteins and a $10 parking fee now. Also, bathroom items are not being restocked correctly - we had two conditioners and no handsoap and a giant bottle of lotion. Not practical. Still $150 a night.

For a stay after a long day of travel, Comfort Suites Woodland lived up to its name: it was very comfortable. A friendly, efficient front desk staffer greeted me upon my late night arrival and checked me in quickly to my room, which was large and in excellent condition. The breakfast the next morning, just before I left, offered more choices than I expected. In short, a wonderful stay!

Excellent value! Clean, updated, comfortable and professional. We were very happy with our stay. Breakfast could be more inclusive of food sensitivities. Millions of people have issues with gluten and dairy.

Staff were very friendly, breakfast options were great. We were in a king suite for 4 nights and housekeeping didn’t come in until the 3rd day. They only changed the toilet paper. Never made the bed and didn’t give us clean towels until our 3rd day.

Post card in room was a nice touch and front desk said they would stamp and mail it for us. We have a bet to see if it ever arrives? Charged $10 for parking by the hotel? Comfort Suites in Woodland, CA starts with a great location for getting to/from Sacramento airport and adds to that a great staff, nice rooms, easy access to stores, restaurants, and gas stations, not to mention a number of other locations one might wnt or need to get to. We loved it last year enough to rebook for our trip this year.

What i suggest for improving is their breakfast. It was good, but it could be better. Other than that, our room was great! The bed was comfortable and our room was clean.

It was decent but I felt it was a bit run down for the price I paid. There was also a constant buzzing noise at the door which was coming from the hall which was pretty annoying at night when you’re trying to sleep. I would say it is clean but something about it I felt it wasn’t the best. Overall, I’d give it a 3/5. It was decent but for the price I paid, I would’ve paid more for a better stay.

Everything about the hotel including the staff were excellent. The only negative was in the bathroom. The floor tile were not totally solid and moved slightly when walked on mostly around the toilet. There also was no anti slip provisions in the bathtub so you had to be extra cautious while taking a shower. A real concern for us older folks.

Our room was clean, but some lights and hair dryer were broken. Breakfast was ok, but on Monday they have only sausage and bacon without any kind of eggs and everyone was disappointed.

Property was convenient to the airport, beds were comfy. Had a nice sitting area yet chair either had blood or chocolate or something on it.

I had a midnight check in from a late flight. The front desk was so kind and understanding. Would definitely stay here again.

For some reason my usual hotel chains have doubled their prices so I took a chance on this one - it paid off! The breakfast was nearly as good, fitness center adequate (no yoga mats but a full set of dumbbells), and the room was comfortable. Happy with my choice!

It was clean and the staff was very nice but the bed area was cramped so it was hard to walk on one side.

The sofa bed wasn’t made and needed to ask for bedding and make it myself. Luckily the mattress wasn’t scary!
