Breakfast could use a little improvement. The sausage did not look like regular sausage Rooms were clean,neat. There wasn’t anywhere to get more ice on the floor. I’m not sure if we missed it. Like the hotel, the people, but I got to tell you room 317 was awful !!That the bed that was in the couch must be sprung or something once side of the couch sets up higher. And the bed in the bedroom was awful ,woke up with sore back and hips. I tell you this ,just to help out. I would like to come back there, plus the location is perfect for me.😊but room 317 was awful when it came to sleep sitting on the bed or sitting on the couch. Just trying to help. Virginia Sipple

Very nice hotel. Easily accessible to many places. Clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast in the mornings were very nice.

Room is clean. AC works impeccably. My only issue was I had asked them to block out a room for a long term stay. I was there a month and when I went to renew for another 2 week period they were sold out. I was supposed to be there for another 6 weeks. I had to scramble to find another hotel and move all my stuff. Very inconvenient.

The hotel was accessible from I-95. It was clean. The room was comfortable. No noise in the hallways or bad smells. The breakfast was good, didn’t have many options but was ok. Staff friendly and respectful. The extra charge for the parking.

Staff- friendly and helpful as well. Very impressed that front desk agent (Aleisha?) remembered me from a month ago and addressed me by name every time she saw me. Amenities- breakfast was very good. Nice variety and everything tasty and enjoyable. Dining area is very comfortable.

Parking now is a fee which is interesting because there are not enough spaces so even paying for parking may mean you get pushed to park in the nearby shopping center. Additionally, guests leave broken bottles and trash littered in the lot. We backed into a space over a bottle. If the hotel is going to charge, they need to keep the lot clean and have enough space available to park.

Although I booked my room through Expedia and I had the booking in my app, they had no rooms. Late at night I had to go look for another hotel. Shame on Expedia and Marriott/Reaudence.

The hotel and my room are very well kept. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. This was an eight night local stay for me as my condo was being renovated. A great option for me. My folks love staying here to when they are in town. Thank you for your continued excellence!

The hotel itself was well maintained. It seemed to be a newer hotel and was in pristine condition. I missed breakfast, but the coffee was just fine. The room was very clean with plenty of towels and the bed linens were quite comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay at Residence Inn. Beautiful lobby with fireplace inside and outside. My husband is a smoker and the outside area was covered and warm. All the staff was nice. The breakfast was great. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious. The parking was easy. Easy in and out off the highway. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

My room (110 or 100) corner Room close to the parking was perfect!!! The electric range helps with a last minute iteems needed to take for Thanksgiving dinner. The overnight Night Auditor was really great I apologize that I forgot her name. I will be back.

The reason for 4 stars review rating is that (1) they don't have a safe in the room, so can't store valuables/passport in the safe; (2) the room is quite dark, not enough natural light and the lightings in the room is quite dim light, and the layout prevent more natural light to comes in, so it makes the room quite dark even during the daytime.

The couch in the accessible room block my entrance into the room. The distance between the couch and counter is not wide enough for the wheelchair to roll thru. Suggest removing full size couch and replacing with a loveseat. Also the lighting in room is too dim and not bright enough. The lighting over sink is very dim not good for applying makeup. I would have opened my curtains but was on first floor facing back of hotel. I hope this review is helpful and action is taken. Thank you.

Very nice upgraded rooms. Smoking smell in the halways was not great, but the rooms did not smell like smoke. Otherwise, breakfast was wonderful and staff very friendly.

The hotel is overall good, but the noise levels are high, it's easy to hear neighboring rooms. Breakfast is decent, though the menu lacks variety for stays longer than three days.

The property was conveniently located near the mall and other restaurants. It is not as updated as the photos imply. We ended up having to move hotels because our AC was not working and the room was 78 degrees and not cooling. The manager was not as helpful as someone who should have been about the situation. She told us that it will take time for the room to cool and it was probably working. I had to tell her the room went up in temp since maintenance came in so the AC was not working. I asked her to kindly refund us as we were not going to stay in that room with our baby, she said fine.

Gym had half the equipment broken, no date on when could be fixed. Sofa bed in the room was not possible to sleep on, worst i have experienced. In the week we were there, although requested up until the last day,there was no service for our room, always chasing toilet rolls and a clean towel.

The staff was very nice. I booked for two queens. I checked in with one king. The staff changed my room to a junior suite, which was one queen and a fold out sofa. That's not what I expected for a getaway weekend for a friend. I paid way too much money for what I actually got in return.

Location I had a family upstairs who made noise all throughout night throughout my stay.

Loved the room size, very quiet(even right by the elevator), pool was great for kids, clean, comfortable beds the hot tub was not a hot tub, lukewarm at best, asked for extra pillows and they didn't have any

The rooms were set up very well so that we could have friends over and not just be sitting on the bed, we had a couch and a table and chairs, it was great. The breakfast each morning was also great and helped us save a little money. I would stay at a Residence Inn every time. Thank you

The front desk staff were welcoming and HELPFUL. The houskeeping staff were HONEST. My sister forgot her purse in the room (!) when we left for the airport. We called from our taxi and they found it in the room, they even refused tips for finding it. VERY COMMENDABLE. Ah...this place has a few things that need fixing. I love great hotels/service so here goes: 1. The whole place --our king 2 br suite incuded-feels very cold/corporate, NOT COZY. NOT WELCOMING. The pool looked creepy, lighting more like a hospital recovery room. Yikes! No welcome basket with a bottle of wine, chocolates in the suite. NO TOILETRIES? [ our AKA suites always have a basket of nice soap, toothpaste, shower gel, body lotions, travel size.] Those monster wall-fastened dispensers are tacky. 2. The WIFI is HARD TO ACCESS, not private! WE WOULD PREFER AN ACCESS CODE FOR A PRIVATE WIFI --NOT ONE OPEN TO THE WHOLE HOTEL. 3. The remotes for the TV are VERY hard to use replace them please. 4.The Hotel/Suite is visually unappealing. No bar or reception area where guests can escape their rooms. Maybe the XMAS trees take up that space but the stiff furniture, the tacky brown carpets feel more old folks home than welcoming upscale inn. 5. No spring water dispenser in the lobby? Go thirsty, guests! Not very Marriott. 6.The breakfast is BELOW PAR. No granola, no protein bars, no hot beverage dispenser with hot chocolate, espresso, mocha drinks? No choice of juices? No home fries, egg and cheese burritos? A plain dry bagel and ham/egg sandwich is not everyone's best start to the day. AND by cutting off at 9am it's a madhouse full of grumpy guests at 8:47 am determined to get their grub on--or die. It's too stressful. And the 'coffee' in the room is too weird to figure out, put back a coffeemaker; a Nespresso or similiar in the rooms. 7. Now about that suite: We reserve suites with kitchens to entertain our elderly relatives over a nice meal. This is not easy with those high stools and tall table. There needs to be a real table and chairs-for dining at ease not bistro stools with no backs more suitable for Starbucks.

After my home flooded, I needed a place to stay for the night. The Residence Inn staff was welcoming and made my stay one less thing to stress over.

I love the kitchen and bring able to cook meals! They provide almost all the dishes you will need. The suite was neat and clean. I loved the division of the room and living room that was a first for us so I was able to shut the door and sleep while my fiancé watched the other tv in the living room! Bed was veryyy comfy I could have stayed a few more days lol! My only complaint is I had a house keeping incident! The day of checkout my finance left early got work and thankfully I awaken around 7am and I latched the top lock of the door for safety. Around 8 something am I heard a barely tap on the door followed by an immediate opening and “oh sorry!” I was half dressed, that would have giving me ZERO time to get up or even answer the door and thank goodness I locked it otherwise I would have been awaken one and two exposed! Around 11:04 or so I got another knock from housekeeping and at that point I just felt rushed and in the way so I grabbed my things and just left! I thought check out was noon and I confirmed at the front desk when I checked out but maybe others have a different schedule!

The pillows were not supportive at all. I couldn’t believe they charged us for parking. It’s outdoor parking. Also, we didn’t know we would be charged. We notice the charge when we checked out. We were not informed when we checked in.

I normally stay at the Courtyard Marriot when I go shopping at Potomac Mills. I came with my daughter and her family and she suggested we try Residency Inn and I am glad we did. Everything was so beautiful and comfortable. I will be returning soon.

Hotel room was well accommodated and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. However, the room was not noise-insulated very well. I could hear the dog across the hall barking at all hours and I could clearly hear the conversation of the people in the next bedroom. The hot tub did not work for the three days I was there.

While the bed was comfortable, the room as a whole was not. Broken and missing door knobs in the room was unacceptable to me. There were no drawer storage for our clothing and we were there for a week.

While the bed was comfortable, the room as a whole was not. Broken and missing door knobs in the room was unacceptable to me. There were no drawer storage for our clothing and we were there for a week.

I absolultey loved the front desk staff. I did not get the young lady's name that checked me in and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. She was went above and beyond her duties. And the young man in the evening was exceptional as well.

Our room had several repairs that needed to done. The bathroom and kitchen faucets were leaking. The main TV did not work. The closet door was broken, bathroom tiles broken and TV panel fell off. This room (203) needs repairs before allowing others to stay there. The staff was friendly. The breakfast ran out every few minutes and one person was trying to keep it stocked. I would stay again but, check out the rooms prior to unpacking. Location is great.

I was unable to check-in it stay due to a death in the family when i texted it to the property myself and through Expedia they denied me a refund even though i couldn't make my stay due to a death... They had no care for my loss nor my money they took over one hundred dollars for a stay i never used,offered no change of dates NOTHING!!! THEY JUST KEPT MY MONEY AND EXPRESSED THEY WE'RE SORRY FOR MY KIDS BUT THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE MY STAY DATES AND THEY WE'RE UNABLE TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.... SO OVER ALL THEY STOLE MONEY FROM ME FOR SERVICES I WAS NEVER PROVIDED...

I was forced to stay here because of Hurricane Ian as I was booked on the auto train - it was cancelled for a week. the Staff here Anna, Andrea and Maria and other names I do not know were fabulous in helping me find services(for my dog) restaurants, etc for my week long stay. They were so helpful - if you ever have to stay in the area - stay here!

Room was very clean

Horrible. There were not enough blankets and pillows for half our party. We booked for 5 people and so there should have been pillows and blankets to make the pull out bed, but there were not. We thought it was no big deal and called the front desk and were told they only had one pillow left. We ended up having to share pillows and blankets from one bed which were not enough to go around and not everyone had a blanket. I expect more from this level hotel.

The staff - front desk, operations, maids - were fabulous! will stay there the next time I am getting on the auto train!

My stay was very good love the double room and the kitchen. My only recommendation would be to get better cable or more cable channels.

I was in the area for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a great stay in a great location.

Ok hotel. Rooms are well equipped but small. Very basic breakfast offered. They charge for parking when there is an open shopping center parking.

The room had just been renovated and so it was very clean and new. Construction was still going on in hotel so certain features were not available.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel no less than 30-40 days in the past 5 years. Up until recently I would have said it was the best hotel in the Potomac Mills area and given it a very favorable review. In short, the managment of the hotel is terrible. I had to check out early, as I could not accept the main lobby, the elevators, the parking area not being cleaned or vacuumed in the four days I was there. Simply because there is construction going on, that is no reason to abandon trash pick-up or even sweeping an area. the exact same trash stayed in places the entire time I was there. On the final day, frustrated by paying a daily parking fee, despite there being 1000s of empty spots in the adjacent strip mall, I was shicked to discover that multiple cars had been broken into right infront of the main entrance. The vehicle adjacent to mine had all four tires stolen and was left on plastic crates! What has happen to the area and how does the hotel justify charging parking if thier parking security is so lacking that such an incident could occur? The assistant manager's excuse for the mess was comical, blaming corporate management.

It was quiet, roomy and clean.

I have stayed here many times while traveling and have had satisfactory experiences. This time the toilet ran, the coffee maker was dysfunctional, and the cable tv went out and was never restored. The property looked dirty and worn.

it was convienent to what I was doing. The people were friendly and it was dog friendly which I really liked. I do wish that their breakfast had a little more variety in it. Also it needs a lot of up dating which I do know they were doing when we were staying there.

The room was great. No complaints. One thing I would mention is that the bathroom sink had a large crack in it.

This was a very nice place to stay and you can't beat the price for what is included. It was clean and quiet. The only thing I would change is the rooms need updating. You can tell the carpet and furniture have been there awhile.

The rooms were nicely appointed. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. No options during decreased breakfast offerings for those on for diabetics.

Hotel overall smells musty and like garbage. There's not enough parking, so you pay $10 a night to park in the adjacent mall parking lot. Our room had dog poop under the furniture from the previous tenant (we didn't bring a dog). Our room was constantly musty (room was on first floor). The overall condition was subpar. There are holes in the walls, wallpaper peeling, carpet fraying, cabinets and appliances are in questionable shape. The TV in the kept losing signal and the furniture is extremely uncomfortable and in need of replacement. The bed was comfortable. Overall, I'm surprised this hotel has positive reviews because our stay was quite the opposite. Definitely not worth the $250 a night for 2 bedroom and $10 per day parking fee.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A few items in the room were in minor disrepair but did not hamper the quality of the stay. Walking distance to many shopping centers and short drive to even more.

Overall our visit was good. The room was nice, clean, and quite. Having the kitchen area was great, not having to eat out all the time.

The service was great and the rooms were clean. The beds were pretty soft though and the room smelled smoky. The front desk did respond when we told them about it so that was good.

We had a great stay. Excellent service, food and pool.

Rooms are large and comfortable. Convenient to highways, food and retail businesses.

Loved it here!! I will be coming here again!!
