Offering a heated outdoor pool and located just 10 minute' drive from Walt Disney World, and also a Surfari Waterpark that has a lazy river, slides, kids splash area and family friendly park activities. The resort has an on-site bar where guests can enjoy a drink. Each spacious suite includes a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a dining area. A washing machine and dryer are provided, as is a screened-in balcony. Some suites feature views of the lake or pool. Housekeeping Service: Trash Removal and Amenity Service will be provided every other day, beginning on the first full day of your stay. For guests staying eight nights or longer, a Full Stayover Cleaning will automatically be provided on the fifth night (day six). If you’d like additional service, you may schedule an extra Full Stayover Cleaning for $45 plus tax per service. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. Guests will also find gift shop at the property.     The property had a gorgeous entrance and great modern esthetic. The waterpark was great and the resort was very clean those were the Pros. The Cons it basically has one restaurant which is difficult if you'll be staying multiple days, the hotel was tricky to navigate from within the complex it felt like a maze. A few things they can do to improve is offer shuttles from each building to the waterpark because that was truly the main attraction and definitely add more eating options as ordering from outside meant you needed to go pickup the food at the lobby and getting their was a mission. I love to walk but you'll see what I mean. I would return again if they make the necessary adjustments.

    Great experience, will definitely return. We had a maintenance issue with our TV in one of the rooms. Within 20mins maintenance came to the unit and fixed the issue. The only issue i had was the first night's rate was withdrawn from my personal bank account without me knowing days prior to our check in. We had previously spoken with guest services,prior to this taking placr, and this was never mentioned. Either then that I loved the resort and plan to go back.

    Not to mention on my last day at safari park, i reserved chairs the prior day for my last day and arrive to find out that my chairs had been sold to another family. I love the resort but these two things will possibly make us not come back.

    It’s definitely a 2.5 star resort. The rooms are extremely old. Not cozy or comfortable. Severely beat up. The pools are fine. It was cheap but wasn’t expecting the $50 a day resort fee taken out of my deposit after already paying in full before our trip. There’s a reason why this place isn’t refundable. Because they won’t be able to refill the rooms if you cancel.

    I stayed here in 2023 and it was fantastic. I stayed in the three bedroom suite. The view was nice, which made me wanna go back but this experience was a little bad we stayed in Tower one there was not very clean and every time you open, the refrigerator door was so cramped in the corner and I slammed against the door. It was very hard to get in and out of the fridge. It wasn’t enough pot and I couldn’t get in touch with the front desk or housekeeping for towels and toilet papers for three days.

    You get what you pay for is the saying. Hallways were dingy and dirty. Drains in showers and sinks didn’t drain. Pool water was dirty. The fire alarm went off. I asked the security guard in the hallway if we had to evacuate and he said, “If you want to.” I said, “ My dad is handicapped and can’t walk down 7 flights of stairs. Are we able to take the elevator?” He looked at me and kept walking.

    The most frustrating part was dining at the hotel’s restaurant, Valencia. We were told there would be a 30-minute wait, which was completely understandable. However, after waiting over 30 minutes, we checked on our table and saw multiple families being seated ahead of us while we continued to wait. That experience left a very negative impression. Customer service was also disappointing. Trying to reach the front desk was incredibly difficult, and on one occasion I waited nearly 25 minutes just for someone to answer the phone. Overall, there were too many issues for us to fully enjoy our stay. I would not choose this hotel again.

    They offered many amenities. However, there were just too many people there to float down the lazy river. Also, it’s also not a great place to stay if you want to stay put and eat at an official dinner restaurant. The food was more like pool food or a food court type of food.

    Stayed here for one night & we had a great time. The three bedroom villas are very spacious and give everyone some privacy and good rest. The pools and waterpark are also great & we had access to them all day even after our checkout time. They are definitely a good walk from the rooms especially in this Fl weather but not a deal breaker. Will definitely come back and recommended to others. The only downside is paid parking.

    Rented a 3BR, 3 bath condo for my daughter’s birthday. Very spacious and comfortable. Had a fantastic time at the amenities like mini golf ($8 per person) and karaoke. Water park, lazy river and slides were fun.

    No me gustó. De inicio tuvimos un altercado con el parking, estaba incluido en los servicios ya pagos hacía meses y pretendían cobrarme casi 600 dólares por dos autos, por los 3 días de estancia que estaríamos. Me parecía inaceptable pagar tanto dinero solo por parking, el hotel explicó que era el costo de parking más un depósito pero primero era mucho dinero y segundo ya mis servicios estaban pagos con el parking incluido. La primera vez que fuimos sucedió algo parecido pero pensamos que había sido una confusión, pero ya la segunda vez fue demasiado. Nos explicaron cómo llegar a nuestro departamento pero fue todo un laberinto, nos costó casi una hora llegar al departamento, es engorrosa la búsqueda, así que intenta llegar a la hora justa del check in para que tengas tiempo de buscar ayuda para encontrar tu estadía.

    are very nice for things to keep the family busy. Obviously as anywhere you vacation the price of reserving pool chairs or cabanas or food and drinks are higher than you would pay normally but that comes with the experience. The biggest issue for us was the speed of service and the elevators were the slowest I can remember experiencing anywhere we have vacationed. All staff interactions were good. The price for parking was ridiculous.

    The resort is too big, you have to do lots of walking, the room was very clean and great condition, they hold $100 dollars per night deposit but you can use your deposit to eat and drink.and too many people in all pools, unless you go as soon you wake up to avoid large crowds.

    The biggest issue was the condition of the room. We were only provided with a couple of pool towels and had to keep reusing them throughout our stay. There was very little toilet paper, barely enough bath towels for our family, and the room had an unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, my children and I were bitten by what appeared to be bedbugs, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and sanitation. The resort layout was also extremely confusing, making it difficult to find our room and get around the property. Instead of feeling relaxed and enjoying our vacation, it felt like a constant hassle. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor room amenities, and inconvenience made for a very negative experience. We will not be returning.

    Our room was ok…smaller bathroom could be upgraded with newer vanity and tub. Dislike the carpet in the bedrooms - feels old and dirty. Check in time gets busy. We arrived a couple hours early - room wasn’t ready but we were in que. Room was ready around 4pm (actual check in time). If you arrive at 4, you’ll be waiting until 5 or after…with kids that’s not easy. Parking is great, and was complimentary with our Expedia package.

    The property was fine. It was the room that I had a little issue with - booked a room with a full kitchen, but didn’t have a skillet, a baking sheet, or any kitchen towels. Blinds were broken in one of the bedrooms so they couldn’t be lowered. 10 minutes before our 10am checkout time, the cleaning person just walked right in. She was super nice, but really? Pool options were great.

    I did call about a damaged window shade, and the staff was very accommodating and quick to offer a solution. However, it made me wonder why these issues weren’t addressed before guests checked in. The highlight of our stay was definitely the waterpark. It was clean and a lot of fun. My only complaint was the lazy river, as there weren’t enough tubes available for guests. Overall, our experience was okay, but the resort needs a deep cleaning and some updates. Because of that, I don’t plan on returning and will likely choose another resort in the future.

    Nice place to stay for a couple of days. You'll see the same every single day. The room was very spacious and very clean. The staff could have gone far and beyond our expectations when I asked to extend my stay for an additional day. The did not make enough effort to accommodate our request. We were a group of 8 on a 3-bd, 3-bath apartment. That was disappointing especially when you take into consideration that the room was not ready when we arrived there on June 8, 2026. Overall, I will only give a 3 out of 5, because of my experience. I know for a fact that I won't be booking there for any future vacation.

    I called guest services and explained the issues. They said they would send someone up to clean everything, but hours passed and by around 9:00 PM no one had come. I called guest services again and spoke to the same person, and instead of sending housekeeping, they moved us to another room. The second room was better and smelled like it had just been cleaned. However, the master bathroom shower still wasn’t in great condition, so we wore sandals while showering. Another thing I disliked was that the resort charges for almost everything. The water park is free, but attractions like the Flow Rider require an additional fee. If someone in your group loses a room key—charge. Early check-in—charge. Late check-out—charge. Extra towels—charge. Overall, the resort was okay outside of the room conditions, but based on my experience, I do not plan on coming back.

    Great water park and everything you need is on campus The room was very dusty and the shower was showing signs of mold build up. The floor was also a little dirty. We did have reserved premium seating at the poolside, and there were a lot of people sitting in the reserve seats that weren’t supposed to be there. it’s 2 chairs provided and they had 8-10 people all piled up and their things all over the place

    Close to Disney World & had multiple pools! Loved the huge bathtub and having multiple bedrooms with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The pool hours could’ve been extended (water park closed at 7 or 8), the surf simulation was always sold out, the arcade prices were way too high, etc. I was also disappointed that they didn’t have enough blankets; I had to call the front desk and ask for more blankets & they said they’d bring them right up, but we waited over 2 hours and they never brought them. The kitchen didn’t have any pots or pans or steak knives, so we had to request those, too. We also had to call several times for pool towels since they didn’t provide us any without us badgering them. Also didn’t like that we spent $2600 on a suite for 10 days and they also made us pay $35/day for parking.

    The worst check in experience ever! Staff was not helpful or accommodating when the check in was delayed due to cleaning past 4pm check in time. Expect to get in line at least twice for check in and then be assigned to a condo unit with on going loud noises coming from the A/C units surrounding outside of the window leaving us with obstruction view of all the A/C units. The light was flickering, bathroom vents were so loud and annoying and loose fixtures within the condo. What a disaster of a vacation!

    The location, waterpark and parking garage Resort prices were decent Food at resort was great. Appliances did not work properly. When work order was made, the issue was skipped and left for me to deal with. I had to fix the washer myself. Dryer barely worked. Non disclosed parking charge. Staff too short to maintain 'summer fun' operations. Breaker constantly turned off. One fan turned off entire room. Slow response time when needed help at resort.

    All the amenities, waterpark and room were clean, fun and valuable Customer service is trash. Customer service here is has one speed and one speed only and it is slow, not to mention their lack of care. It makes me really worry about how much they care about the cleanliness of what we don’t see. This hotel would easily be rated a high eight out of 10 or a nine, if it wasn’t for the very poor customer service.

    The kids loved it ❤️ It was card only nobody told us that . The Valencia restaurant was awful we ordered 3 taco bowls and the rice wasn't cooked .we waited for at least 45 min to eat as other tables were getting food .so we sent the food back but the kids were tired and wanted to leave so we didn't eat that night .we had snacks that we got from the store .I paid 1000 dollars and it was hard to get towels etc .

    The room that me and my partner occupied was OK. The cleanliness of the floors were not up the standard. The washer smelled inside. The oven of the stove was open about a quarter an inch and was not able to close completely. We were supposed to check in at four and never check in till 7:00 pm. On which I was not very happy about after travelling for hours and nowhere to freshen up or to put our luggage, When I spoke to the staff regarding the late check-in, I was advised to go through Expedia or whoever I booked with for reimbursements regarding the late check-in.     We stayed at The Grove Resort June 7–10 to celebrate my son’s 12th birthday, along with family members who were also celebrating birthdays. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The N Wing elevator was out of service our entire stay, creating major inconvenience, especially for my son who struggles with anxiety and panic attacks. We also experienced ongoing air-conditioning issues that left our room uncomfortably hot overnight, triggering a panic attack for my son at 3:45 AM. When I contacted Guest Services for assistance, the response was unhelpful and no follow-up ever occurred. Additional issues included dirty floors in a family member’s room, overcrowded elevators due to housekeeping carts, vomit in the pool area, and inconsistent security procedures at the water park. While the Market staff were excellent and the food was great, the numerous operational problems significantly impacted what should have been a special family celebration. Overall, the resort did not meet the expectations we had for a birthday vacation.

    Check-in was at 4:00 pm. When my family and I got there at 4:00 pm our room was not ready. They said we would receive a text message when our room was ready. At about 4:15 pm, I spoke to another employee and she was able to get us a room that was ready. The room was very spacious and modern. Very nice bathrooms, comfy beds, and just the right temperature. However, there were stains on the couch, table, and floor. There was also a small puddle of liquid on the floor of the living room, which I had know idea what it was. At one point during my stay, I also saw a medium sized cockroach crawling from behind the stove. My daughter really enjoyed the water park. So overall, my stay was good for the most part, the staff is very friendly it’s just whoever cleaned our room before we arrived needed to do a better job.

    The property had potential to be amazing! The pool area was nice. The restaurant by the pool was convenient but my hotel room which was a 3 bedroom had all dirty towels I had to ask for more and use the washing machine to clean them. The pool towels we were given were dirty and the kitchen still had dirty pans in the oven. The upside was location and price. Close to Disney, shopping and food.

    Lots of trees in the area and pools get full of leaves, the grounds keeper need to do a better job and skimming the pools throughout the day for a better experience. I am a pool owner so I know that it requires work, we pay good money to stay here and we definitely come for the pools and the waterpark, a little bit more attention to detail would be greatly appreciated and skimming the pools throughout the day

    Unfortunately, the front desk staff came across as unfriendly and lacking a service-oriented attitude. The exception was a young woman with a piercing working at the side desk, who was kind and helpful when I requested fresh towels. The housekeeping team was by far the most pleasant and efficient. Before arrival, I received an email confirming that housekeeping would prepare the sofa bed for us due to our long flight. However, it was not set up, and we had to make it ourselves. At check-in, we were offered an upgrade to a three-bedroom condo for USD 20 per night, which felt like a missed opportunity to make up for the inconvenience caused by the property’s own communication error. I would consider returning because the facilities are excellent, but I hope to see a more welcoming and empathetic guest experience in the future.

    We had an issue with charges to our card and got told to fix it with our bank and yet the charges didn’t match up. We paid everything Friday when we checked in, they had a bunch of hidden fees and deposits that aren’t disclosed when booking, and a 18% gratuity on everything that you buy. And yet somehow we still owed them and things just get explained away as fees. I love the hotel, but that, I probably wouldn’t go back.

    Check-in was chaotic. I waited exactly one hour in line just to receive my room keys. During a busy summer weekend, the resort appeared completely unprepared to handle peak occupancy. The staff were friendly and worked hard to make guests feel comfortable, but they seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. Cleanliness was disappointing. On Friday, I came across a spilled container of fried rice scattered across a stairwell floor. When I passed through the same area on Sunday, the rice was still there. Many of the issues stem from overcrowding and the type of guest experience it creates. Common areas were disorderly, noise levels were excessive, and on both Saturday and Sunday nights someone loudly banged on our door and ran away, waking our children each time. The apartment-style accommodations were adequate but showed signs of deferred maintenance, including non-functioning outlets, malfunctioning roller shades, and visible wear and tear. The water park was extremely crowded on Friday and Saturday, though Sunday was noticeably more enjoyable. The resort’s layout is another major issue. The building design creates bottlenecks and makes circulation cumbersome during busy periods, contributing to a consistently congested atmosphere.     This property is not maintained well. I specifically requested to be in a recently remodeled condo in which the check-in clerk obliged only for me to get to it and find a moldy shower and stained bathtub. Our washer had mold all over the inner ring. The hallways of buildings one and three smell horrible. I was prepared with cleaning supplies and disposable linen; however, I felt disgusted each day when showering. I planned on providing the hotel staff with this information but when checking out with Soha, I was barely given a glance and not even asked about my stay. This place looks the part on arrival but it is far from nice. The property likely was nice upon opening but now it’s just a place for quick turnover without any thought or effort to improve. It’s cheap because it’s NASTY!

    The extra hidden fees!! Everytime I went to the desk I got a hidden charge! It’s $120 to park by the way! Just to park!! $300 hold for “incidentals. The staff is rude! Most of the stuff in the rooms are broken! And we had bugs in our bed!! Oh and don’t worry you won’t get to enjoy the pool it’s most likely over capacity! There was were 33 people inside the jacuzzi when capacity was 22 😒 it’s all smoke and mirrors this place is terrible oh and the flow rider surf thing is $75 a person 😒

    ​Overall, our stay was decent, but the hotel definitely lacks a "wow" factor. We were disappointed to find the water slides and lazy river closed upon arrival, with no email notification beforehand. On the positive side, our room was upgraded from a 2-bedroom to a 3-bedroom, though the interior felt very outdated. ​A major downside occurred on our second night when the fire alarm went off twice around 1:00 AM. There was no announcement or follow-up communication, forcing our whole family to head down to the lobby and ruining our night's sleep. Additionally, the location is a bit far from the main Orlando parks and attractions, averaging a 35-minute drive. ​Giving this 3 stars based on the price, outdated facilities, and closed amenities. However, the absolute highlight was the customer service—staff at the lobby, restaurants, and throughout the property were outstanding.

    Property is a bit dated and the rooms are older than the pictures in the display when booked. Large usable space with full kitchen though which is a perk for families. Knives and scissors werent cleaned properly, had sauce all over it when i tried to use them. Came with only 1 complimentary dish washer pod for 3 nights? Check out is at 10am - most resorts give you atleast till 11am. Waterpark is fun, but need to go early to get a seat under an umbrella or else you are in the sun all day. Server will bring you food to your lounge chair, food is reasonably priced. Fruit cups $6 Fries $6 Most entrees are between $16-18. Wasn’t a bad property but probably wouldnt go back.

    My family and I really enjoyed this resort. I'm not sure of the previous negative reviews, because our experience was outstanding. The food was great, the staff was kind, the drinks were top-notch, and the rooms were spacious with everything you need for a family.They offer chef service for your room that is amazing.     Very disappointed with my stay at The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando. During our stay, we discovered bed bugs in our room, which completely ruined our family vacation. After returning home, we had to wash and disinfect our clothing, luggage, and personal belongings to ensure we did not bring the problem into our home. In addition, our group requested rooms together, but we were assigned rooms far apart, creating unnecessary inconvenience throughout our stay. What was most frustrating was the way the situation was handled. Although a one-night credit was issued to another reservation in our party, I was still charged the full amount for my stay despite being directly affected by the bed bug issue. When I contacted the resort, I was informed that no adjustment had been made to my reservation. For a resort of this caliber, I expected much better cleanliness, customer service, and accountability. A bed bug issue is a serious concern, and I do not feel the resolution provided was fair considering the inconvenience and stress my family experienced. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

    We had a lot of issues with our room. Leaky freezer, soaking we carpet in the guest closet, curtains to the deck look like they had chocolate rubbed all over them, a couch cushion smelled strongly of urine, and lightbulbs in both bathrooms would flicker when ever they were on.

    The parts we didn’t like; room was not ready at 4pm. I questioned why, rooms were still being cleaned and their policy is check in STARTS at 4pm. We finally checked in at 5:30. They offer shuttles to Sea World, the catch is you leave the resort at 7:30am and will not be picked u p until 6:45 pm. We had small kids and there was no way they would last that long but they were the only options so we had to drive. At check out we needed a luggage cart. You can get one but you have to leave your drivers license with them and will get it back when you return the cart.

    The property was nice. The check in line was crazy long never experienced that before. We use the resort as a home base to access the surrounding theme parks around Orlando. Didn't interact with staff that much but when we did it was good. We spent one day at the surfari water park it was OK. Lazy river need cleaning. There were trash along the side of the pool. Water slide was great kids like it. The room we got was good but it had alot of lint dust. We wiped it down but it didn't help. Maybe because it was recently renovated. Property has construction going on during our stay at the resort (May 29 - June 2).

    The room was very clean and spacious. Loved having the full kitchen. The rooms were very clean and they were definitely trying to keep the hallways looking nice. The resort is huge and everything is very confusing so be ready to walk a lot. The “waterpark” was ok. Not sure I would call it a waterpark but the kids enjoyed it. The arcade looked awesome until we got over $100 in game cards and every game seemed a little rigged in the hotels favors which can be very disappointing for a child. I would save your money and go to Dave and Busters or something. We did not eat at the hotel so we can’t speak on that. I will say that the location seemed very far from everything we did 30mins or more. Employees were friendly. I would not say I would not stay there again but I would definitely check how far away it is from the things we want to do next time. We did get Free Parking and resort fees by booking through the ExpeidaVIP so that was nice. I think it would be great for families if you plan to stay around the resort. I’m sure there is a lot they offer that we did not take advantage of.

    The view standing outside the resort is beautiful but the upkeep has fell off. Customer service all around is horrible. We had issues with plumbing when we first checked in and they didn't send someone til the last night we was there. We went 3 days with bad plumbing. Customer service at the front desk barely answer the phones. We had to walk down to the front desk just to get ahold of someone. When we first checked in our room, the room was not properly clean and the sheets and counters was dirty. We requested extra sheets, towels and wash cloths and they didn't arrive until 2:00 a.m after calling the front desk the third time. They didn't even knock on the door to let us know that the sheets were dropped off. We didn't see them until morning. I also had to walk down to the front desk to get tissues for both bathrooms because they just simply will not answer their phone. Went to Walmart to get cleaning supplies to properly clean the room and wash sheets and towels that were already there. Upon washing the sheets and towels there was mold in the washing machine dispenser where you put liquid washing powder and I have pics to prove it. Overall, we just didn't enjoy our vacation there and will not return. Our original booking was for 5 nights but we canceled after the 3rd night because we didn't enjoy our stay. We decide to finish our vacation at the Marriott resort and we're having a blast right now. The rooms here are clean. Bar here is great and the resort everything!!!

    Rented a 3/3. . 3 adults ,5 kids ages 7-13. . Room is nice and spacious . We were left in a pile on table 4 large towels , 5 hand towels ,and 3 wash clothes .. Said pool towels were in room . We did NOT have any . Room had full kitchen but there was ONLY a single egg frying pan , cookie sheet ,and a pot to cook with ( that was it ) . No mixing bowls either . So after spending 300.00 on groceries . Nothing to cook the food with ...Min height to go on water slides was 46" or 48 so our 7 yr old could not go on he was stuck in the baby section (as he called it ) he was inch too short ....Gratuity is included in ALL food and drink purchases . For 5 dip n dots @7.99e gratuity was over 10.00 to walk to freezer n hand them to me .. Last there is no broom or vacume provided in room so if your a clean freak you have to pay fee to have someone come in and clean ...There is only 1 pkt of dishwasher det provided . 1 sm box laundry det , 1 roll paper towels , oh n no OVEN MITTS either . I do like the resort and will go preparred if we ever go again . Dont get me wrong , resort is nice . Just preparring you for what to expect .. We were in bldg 1 , 3 rd floor J section

    I found the staff wasn’t very helpful except maybe a handful of people. The spring was beautiful and nice. Well kept clean, but I found the Safari waterpark was dirty and not nice. The rooms are outdated but manageable if they have the necessities you’re supposed to have in the room overall I think this resort is 3 1/2 star probably would never go there again. Also for future reference when you go to check-in, leave your suitcases in the car if not, you’ll only have to put them back into the car to drive to your parking area.

    We traveled to Florida for a family wedding and chose to stay at this resort for fun and relaxation while we visited the state. We enjoyed the Waterpark daily and even had family that lives in the area come and visit us at the 3 bedroom suite that we had for 5 days. The resort allowed my family to come onto the property and even enjoy the Waterpark with us one day which was wonderful.. I loved the experience the property was clean the employee are really friendly. I would come back to this location when visiting family in Florida.

    Not able to do early check in or late check out although they say you can on website. We got a 2 bedroom family suite. They use laminate wood floor most likely not water proof as our bathroom had brown ooze coming up from the tile. Their way of fixing the problem was putting a towel down for the week we stayed there while walking over the dirty towels and not changing towels daily since they didn’t give us a new room. Be prepared to walk and get lost if your room is not where the water park and pools are. The architect must have forgot to put closets so they decided to put racks in the bathroom for a closet not even a door to separate and the safe was just sitting in the bathroom. You can only use a credit cards and tip is already included in each charge. There was a sign kids eat free with purchase of adult meal but we got charged I guess everything they advertise is subject to change.

    This resort is large and lots of people. You will wait in line for everything. I messaged house keeping and they never responded.     When I first arrived the gave us the wrong room and had to go back down in that long line to get it fixed. Also when we get in the room they didn’t have no wash clothes. Then on Sunday our last Day it was a problem at the water park in the head Security Todd or Ted’s was a Butt to my family when supposed to be another guest threatened to knock my Niece in-laws teeth down her throat. He asked to call the police and they didn’t defend our side of the family defendant the other people.. My nephew ask for his boos and management to come to the waterpark to speak to us. And would he then told us that we was trespassed and was asked to leave off the property, even though we had one day left to stay Also, later that night, the person that caused the problem was still on property and they was supposed to be asked to leave as well, but didn’t. In later to find out the person that caused the problem, didn’t even have a key card to get in the place or was supposed to be there. This was our second year there and this year was the worst year.

    Very disappointed with this resort for several reasons. 1) Check-in was at 4pm, we arrived around 420 and didn't get a room assigned until almost 6pm, and that was after complaining. 2) The staff are not knowledgeable, and have no hospitality. They see you waiting for something, and no one asks if you've been helped. They walk pass you in the hall, don't say hello. If you ask for anything no one has the answers, and they seem to be moving extra slow so the next person has to help you. 3) The condos are nice, but outdated and need maintenance. One of our rooms ceiling fan was so loud and shook like it was going to fall down. 4) They offer "happy hour" at their bars during certain times. 1 closes before the happy hour starts, the other was never open and we stayed 5 days, 4 nights... You can tell the hotel is either short on staff or something. 5) I did not see any of the event activities that were offered. This resort could really use restructuring, including staff

    The spaciousness, the pools and the activities. Definitely worth the nice apartment size room. The money train doesn’t stop rolling, lacks hospitality. There’s no service with a smile, it’s just if you don’t have another $20 don’t ask for crap. The size of the property is massive, so the elderly or disabled must be prepared or you will suffer the consequences.     We arrived Saturday- house keeping didn’t clean/replace towels, until Monday night when we left Tuesday morning. My watch and money was missing from the room which we locked one of the bedroom doors prior to heading down to the pool. Food was horrible, I ordered chips and salsa and 2 drinks. Total amounted to $74 AFTER tip when I did not tip on my card, we left $5 cash. 0/10 recommend- room was not even clean when we arrived, AFTER speaking with front desk yet again, was told hotel is completely full so we cannot change rooms but there was still reservations thru Expedia & on the grove website. Never again, very disappointed!!!

    Okay resort, would say it’s more of a 3 star than a 4 star. Checked in at 10pm and it was still a 30 min wait. Carpets in the hallways smell really bad and the resort is just very confusing in general. Not many elevators for such large buildings which made the wait long, usually 10 min wait to be able to get on. Not many food options either for such a large resort and all of them close early. Rooms were dusty, washing machine had mold inside and dishwasher smelled. Crowd was a little rambunctious, while we were there there was a fight at the waterpark where cops had to be called. I’d say ok for a short stay but not sure if it’s a good place to stay for more than a few days.

    With all that being said, the rooms were awesome for families. The 2 bedroom condo for a family of 4 with small kids was perfect. Honestly, no complaints on the room. It was clean. You feel like you’re in an Airbnb with the benefits of a hotel. The pools and water park were great for kids. VERY packed but it was also a holiday weekend so not sure if it’s always like that. When we got to the waterpark kids area, the lifeguard was scrolling on her phone. Not a great look. It seemed they don’t care about safety at the pool and there were teenagers running through the kids area. We had to leave and go to a calmer pool so we felt safe with our 3 and 2 year old kids. I will try the resort again on a non holiday weekend and make my final decision. Rant over.

    Beautiful on the outside - Filthy on the inside The inside of the rooms and hallway were extremely dirty. First room I checked in had poop in one of the bedroom toilets. I went to the front desk changed room and was dealt with by a kind manager. The oven didn’t close we were there for 5 days and decided to bake some chicken, we realized the oven didn’t close after like 1 hr when the chicken was still raw, we have to resort to finish cooking on the stove top. They have only two posts in the 3 bedroom apartment. The shower leaks like crazy after careful examination the door doesn’t close properly. The yellow not white towels looked dirty and were super hard. An over all huge disappointment for a stay costing over $1000

    To make matters worse, the elevator closest to our room was also out of service. Since we were staying on the 5th floor, this created a major inconvenience. We either had to walk all the way to the other side of the complex just to find a working elevator or take the stairs up and down five flights. Traveling with children made this even more frustrating. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, especially considering the amenities we booked the resort for were unavailable. Transparency about closures and better maintenance of essential facilities would have made a huge difference in our experience.

    We requested towels and a cookie sheet, and didn't hear back for 24 hours so called again and they finally brought it the night before we were leaving from our week stay. We did not find the staff friendly or helpful. There was issues with our room that were never addressed, like a broken phone. We also accidentally left an expensive item behind in the bathroom, and called right after we left the resort but it still has not been found. There is no way it was not found by cleaning crew ( who arrived right after we left that morning). The amenities, pools etc were great, and the room was a good size, but I would not book here again or recommend this location.

    We arrived at 6 p.m. for check-in with two rooms under the same reservation. We had requested that the rooms be close together since we were traveling with several young children, but the rooms were placed very far apart. For the pull-out sofas, only partial bedding was available. We requested the missing bedding when we arrived, but did not receive a sheet or blanket until around 1 a.m. The kids were exhausted, and we spent nearly two hours on the phone trying to get assistance before giving up and going downstairs to ask in person. One room eventually received bedding, while the other never did, so we had to use blankets as bedsheets. The hotel had also run out of pillows, so there were no pillows available for the pull-out beds. Overall, the staff was very difficult to reach and not very helpful. Most employees seemed annoyed whenever we asked questions or made requests. The water park was just okay—nothing especially exciting—and it was very crowded, with limited space for guests to sit or put down their belongings.

    Staff is friendlier at Reunion, amenities are accessible and not so overcrowded that they are unusable or unsafe. The AC works in all rooms at Reunion and you aren’t nickel and dimed for coffee cups. My family and I ended up checking out early because of our most recent experience at the Grove. I wish I would have stayed somewhere else.

    The building could have better signage. It’s one big maze. There’s also not enough elevators in the facility. The pool area becomes very packed and sometimes there was not enough seating for everyone. They should enforce a 30 minute wait zone if no one comes to their claim chair my room washing machine was not working and the oven did not work. Had some pick ups. Had to call front desk a few times.

    The property was very good overall. It was a little out of the way, but worth it. The rooms were clean, the staff was great, the amenities were great overall and the space for my family was great as well. We spent a lot of time at the multiple pools, the adult ones were actually heated. The only shade I can throw just happens to be the same no matter where I go both professionally or personally, if an elevator is out, no matter how long my stay, it never gets fixed while I'm there! We stayed in the one tower where the elevator didn't work, and it was a pretty good haul every time trying to get to the car and the garage- slightly less than a haul when trying to get downstairs to do anything. I would have spent more money onsite if it was easier to get downstairs, we grabbed a few groceries for the room after the 2nd trip going the long way down the first day realizing we didn't want to have to do that for every meal and pool trip. The parking was a bit more than I expected at over $100 per vehicle for three days, we had 2. I would still recommend it to others as all the other things overshadowed the downsides.

    Not worth the price in my opinion. Lamp shape and curtains had some stains on the. Outlets didnt work. Bathroom shower curtain looked cheap and dingy. Got the biggest suite they offer to hold up to 8 people and not enough blankets, pillows or towels. Pull out couch was a joke. Other 2 bedrooms have double beds that can barely fit 2 people ( I am 5 ft 130 lbs so not HUGE) No blackout curtains so sun was beaming in the morning. The pools were equivalent to my condominum pool where I live. Website made them looked bigger as though they were a lagoon. Everything is extra and overpriced. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is super confusing. Wife was TERRIBLE. Got the "resort view" and was a full blow construction view of sand. Either lower the price or dont hype it up

    The apartment layout is a game changer when traveling with children. We were able to cook food in the full size kitchen which saved us a lot of money. Walmart was near by which was convenient. We loved the pool. The kid splash pad was not heated and the water was extremely cold. So cold, my kids couldn’t use it. The surfing simulator costs money and is not included in your amenities. That was a bummer. The resort is a maze. It was so difficult to find your way around. A lot of walking and getting turned around. We would stay again though just for the apartment layout.

    The rooms are awesome with a full kitchen. The restaurants are fairly expensive but I didn't want to cook on vacation. Breakfast buffet was yummy, and the pool side restaurant best burger ever, market had great flatbread pizzas, cream and anything you need is there. Staff was kind. Pools were fun.     We reported the issue multiple times but were repeatedly dismissed. After several complaints, someone did mop both restrooms; however, the residue returned after we came back from dinner. We were told maintenance would come, but no one ever showed up. Front manager Kiara stated the substance was “glue” from flooring installation and said it “sometimes happens.” This was concerning because she immediately recognized the exact issue and color we were describing, suggesting it may be an ongoing, unresolved problem. In a restroom setting, this raises serious sanitation concerns as bodily fluids could potentially be trapped, creating a biohazard risk for guests. We also requested towels, which did not arrive until after my family, including small children, had already gone to bed. Earlier, the front desk told us they were unavailable and that we would have to wait. Overall, we are highly dissatisfied with the condition of the room and the lack of urgency and concern shown by staff.

    On arrival and being checked in to our 1st room, the washer and dryer did not work. The fridge did not work. After calling about 3 times, we were then moved across the hall to another room. However, this room the dishwasher looked like it was coming out of the slot and there were hardly any pans to use to make breakfast. There was no kettle or hot water in the kitchen.     My only complaint would be, the pull out mattress was stained. Not what I had planned but not a huge deal because we just doubled up in a room. Besides that everything else was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I noticed that their internet was down at the time of my arrival. The manager seemed to keep his cool during the problem, and kept the check in process rolling without a hitch. I could not receive a key card at the time of arrival, due to the system failure, but everything was taken care of in a timely and professional manner for my family and I to enter our room. I would keep The Grove in the list of places to stay on our next vacation.

    The property was very nice. We did encounter a problem but as soon as we brought it to their attention, they took care of it. One of the elevators wasn't working which made a lot more steps when checking in/out but we made it work. It was a pretty long walk to get from Building 3 to the lazy river/splash pad but once we found a way to do it indoors, no issues with the little ones in the sun.

    The lazy river was shut down as well as another park. The one elevator was so jam packed it took forever to get on. I have stayed here before and loved it. The room had been cleaned but the mirrors were real foggy and the clocks had not been changed so it was fine. But the worst of all is I left a hand made blanket and I checked out at 3 am. I sent a text when I got to the airport. Was told to fill out a form which I did. I called when I got home at 8 am. The staff was not helpful at all and said I had to fill the form out. Now check out time wasn't till 10 am. Just go get my blanket please. Right? I emailed and emailed to zero avail. Just unacceptable. I shouldn't have left it but I just can't believe there was no help at all.

    The Grove has changed a lot. Lots of damage to the hallways and room, room wouldn’t cool for some reason. Staff was so rude and a kid almost drowned because the life guard never look in the direction the kid was in.     My family and I had a good stay at the Grove. They are close to the attractions which is nice. The pool areas were nice. One of our issues was the hours posted for the restaurants were incorrect. It got to be a little frustrating. Also, we were in a 3 bedroom/ 3 bath unit with a party of 7 and the room only had 4 towels. They corrected it quickly once I called. No kitchen towels. I was charged 3 times for food I never got as the system was not working. I’m told it should refund but I’ve not seen it yet. I would go back in the future. All in all it was a good stay.

    The view To far from everything, hair left in the shower, had to pay to park on property, no free breakfast, no ac in the hallways, raccoons at the pool, waterparks sides were down, scaffolding over lazy river with paint falling on you when you go underneath, if you need more towels you have to pay for them.

    I like that there were plenty of things to do onsite and decent restaurants. Well, our pool towels were wet upon arrival had to use bath towels bit there were only 4 (we are a party of 5) no hand towels or washcloths, the microwave didn’t work and the parking garages and buildings were very confusing. Also check in is at 4 and check out is 10am.

    So it wasn’t bad I liked that it was two bedroom suite type of unit BUT, I couldn’t stand being able to hear all kinds of noises while trying to sleep. That was my biggest pet peeve. It was like staying at a cheap apartment you hear all sounds and it’s hard to get good sleep. This is supposed to be a relaxing place but it is was not. We had to call several times to the front desk because the room above us thought it was ok to stomp around at 3am waking us all up. They did nothing until the last night we we were there and complained for the last time they sent security to the room. Which would have been if they did it the first time but whatever I guess. If you value sleep and relaxation this is not the place for you trust me you will regret it. If you don’t care about getting sleep or relaxing then go ahead and book it. Oh also, they don’t fill the soap or replace bedding or towels or toilet papers we kept having to call.

    Great staff! The rooms are very clean and in great condition. The environment is family-friendly, with a great pool area for kids. However, I suggest you call the hotel before making any reservations. The lazy river and water slides were closed during our stay, and I was not informed of this beforehand.     The property had everything that you could imagine when you checked in the waterpark tickets were included. My daughter was 11 years old so she needed a wristband the room that I had included a full kitchen, washer and dryer and two bedrooms along with two bathrooms. There was a swan peddling place. The restaurant was a little pricey with the food quality was decent. The marketplace downstairs was a little pricey, but there are supermarkets close in the area.

    When we arrived, that was when we found out that the water slide and the lazy river were closed. Even so, the lazy river was still open to the public, and when passing underneath the slide there were large bags filled with water, supposedly because of the repairs, that looked like they could fall on you at any moment. No one informed us about any of this in advance. We traveled all the way to the hotel expecting to enjoy all the park attractions, especially considering how expensive the stay was. On top of that, we were not able to enjoy the surf area either because the entire schedule was fully booked. The bathrooms did not have body wash or hand soap, and the shampoo and conditioner were extremely limited. The air conditioning was not cooling properly, and we had to move the children into our bed because they were sweating too much. I travel all around Florida and stay at hotels with lower ratings, and at least they provide coffee pods and tea bags to make guests feel at home. It may not seem like a big deal, but small details like that can really make your day better.

    This place has changed in several years. They upkeep is not what it used to be. The rooms are worn and could use an update. The place reeks of weed which needs to be addressed especially that it’s a family resort not a free for all. Which I don’t understand why they are not doing anything about that. Litter everywhere half the crowd is trashy or super ghetto. Definitely will not waste anymore money coming here. Orange Lake for the win for now on.

    The pool was so overcrowded that we couldn’t even find a chair. The lazy river and slides were closed, and the property looked dirty overall. Some guests were smoking weed around the resort. Also, the fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night. The bar drinks were overpriced for the quality. The hotel lacked a clear theme and felt dull because of the colors and atmosphere. We also checked in early and were told we would receive a call once our room was ready, but nobody ever contacted us and I had to go back myself to check on it. The only positive aspect was the size of the rooms — which may explain why the hotel was so crowded.

    Very disappointed upon arrival. Understand a technical issue regarding their system for issuing swipe cards however also some electrical problems for two days. The most disappointing part is the water resort not having the water park open and handling all other families concerns with no empathy.     We didnt had wifi in the resort for a whole day and we were promised with the shuttle to and fro universal studios but even after booking and waiting for more than an hour the shuttle didnt show up. Terrible service and nobody even picked up our call when we tried calling them to inquire about the shuttle while we were stuck waiting for it in universal on a rainy day. Very bad management. The pool is too small for people to go there.

    Elevators were not working, I am disabled and was unable to get to room. They sent a bell boy to take us to another room which took an hr. Room was terrible not clean. 7 of us in room and no sheets for pull out sofa and only 4 towels between 7 of us. Requested more and it took over an hr to bring to us. Waterpark had slides closed for whole stay. Fire alarm kept going off all night on 2nd night of stay. Couldn't do online check out. Called and asked for compensation and was told they don't give compensation. Charges on my credit card that were not ours. Cannot get thru to a real person to discuss. Worst place I have ever stayed and will never stay there again!! Terrible customer service.

    Phone in room didn’t work. No towels in any room bathrooms. Room was not clean, hair from previous guests on pillow and in bathroom. My son had a live roach in his room. Hallways in our building were carpeted a d smelled like mildew. Our second night there we were woken up not once but twice by the hotel fire alarm going off, people running to evacuate in the middle of the night. No idea what caused it and we were never told. Poor experience.

    Everything was perfect other than the fact we mostly went there to enjoy the lazy river while the kids enjoyed the water park. It was Mother’s Day weekend so not having the one thing I was looking forward to kinda sucked. They didn’t really accommodate that experience being gone such as extending times at the water park or even free meal/drinks. I went here last year too and I was just a little bit disappointed this time around. The bedding was not comfortable either nor were the pillows. The Mother’s Day brunch was also super pricey for what was offered. And that’s just me being a little picky. Other than that I guess the experience overall was decent. Not sure I will be returning next year again.

Off the beaten path resort leaving a lot to desire as a runner — their “1 mile” path was not truly a mile and workout room is not great for a busy week.     The staff and supervisors were very unprofessional, dismissive, and completely unapologetic throughout our stay. One of our children had a nosebleed that left blood on the floor, and not only did nobody check on her wellbeing, staff told us there was nobody available to assist or clean it. The blood remained there for the rest of our stay, which was unsanitary and unacceptable. The most concerning issue was a raccoon freely roaming around the children’s pool area, taking guests’ food and going through belongings while children were nearby. Staff only attempted to shoo it away with a broom multiple times and never contacted wildlife control or properly addressed the safety concern. Between the hidden amenity closures, poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, and unsafe conditions, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. I would not recommend staying here.

    First of all when I arrived to the location, there was a big pool water in the kitchen. I cleaned it up no biggie then I went to get ice from the refrigerator and the ice was not working. I tried calling maintenance. I tried calling front desk. I tried for my cell phone to call the resort no one ever picked up the phone. Second day fire alarm went off I called over six times to the front desk and no one ever picked up. I love this resort and I’ve been staying here for over five years, but the lack of staff has made a big impact on my experience this last day. Stayed. Top of this the waterpark did not open for the entire weekend. That’s one of the main reasons I stay there so my kids can enjoy the waterpark and I was not told fire that the waterfront was going to be closed. This really affected my experience since I am a mom and the waterpark is one of the main reasons I stay at this property. I feel was very unfair that the waterpark was closed and I was not told in advance..

    Staff were friendly. However, we were not assigned our accessible room and never called us back to accommodate our needs to relocate. For wheelchair users, this building is not accessible, doors don’t have automatic openers and rooms (at lest ours) didn’t have grab bars in the bathroom. Construction on the pool which they neglected to inform us at booking was closed, and construction occurred until 4am the first night outside our window. Someone’s kids on the property set off fire alarm at midnight the third night. Pay attention to the bill for food and dining as tip is included but they discretely encourage additional tipping. Elevators worked intermittently and was fairly difficult to navigate the rabbit warren of hallways. Count the towels in your room as they charge at checkout for any that are missing and we were short 3 towels. Overall would have given it a rating of 1, but the friendly staff raised it to a two and the room was relatively comfortable and clean.

    Unfortunately, our experience changed considerably on the second day of our stay. The water slides and lazy river, key amenities that distinguish this resort from others, were closed for maintenance during our visit. Additionally, we experienced significant issues with the food delivery service, that we paid $165 for. We would however, like to recognize the bartender at the Safari Bar located across from the hair braiding station. He was consistently professional, welcoming, and attentive to our family throughout our stay, and his level of customer service was greatly appreciated. At checkout, the front desk receptionist asked about our experience, and we respectfully shared our disappointment regarding the amenity closures during a holiday weekend. In response, we were told, “It was on our website, we can’t help that you overlooked it.” We found this response dismissive and lacking the level of professionalism and empathy we would expect when providing guest feedback. After checking the website following our booking, we did see the notice indicating the amenities would be closed from 5/5–5/19. However, our reservation was made in mid-March. We understand that temporary closures are unavoidable but communication prior to arrival would be the right way to let guests know.

    Rooms were not overly clean, looked to be a quick clean and wipe, beds dont have any mattress protector so no sure how the sanitize that. Most things in room work at the bare minimum. Staff are nice but dont go out of there way to help, if you go during the week most of the things they advertise for daily use either doesnt open or closes early like happy hours and kids activity center. Everything at the restaurant is an extra charge and the parking is one of the most expensive in the area that isnt a disney resort. (Most places in area font charge) landscaping and outside is very tropical and nice but overall good to go once but wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Save your money and look around elsewhere

    After speaking with management, they did provide some accommodations for the inconvenience, which we appreciated, but unfortunately it did not make up for the overall experience. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was below expectations. There were stains on the bed sheets, and the floors were extremely dirty. My baby crawled on the floor shortly after we entered the room, and her knees and feet were visibly black from the dirt. Unfortunately, based on this experience, my family and I have decided we will not be returning to this resort in the future.

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was beyond disappointing. We booked this resort for a special mommy-daughter vacation and experienced issue after issue from the moment we arrived. Several advertised amenities were closed, including major water attractions we specifically booked for. Communication about these closures was extremely poor. Staff claimed guests were notified in advance, yet multiple families we spoke with said they had no idea either. Our room had multiple maintenance issues including a cracked bathtub, paint/chipping inside the tub, dryer problems, and plumbing disruptions during overnight hours. We also experienced delayed maintenance responses and inconsistent customer service throughout the stay. To make matters worse, accessibility requests for my mother in a wheelchair were not accommodated despite being communicated ahead of time. For the amount of money this resort charges, the lack of accountability, communication, and overall guest care was unacceptable. While Florida itself was beautiful and we made the best memories possible, the resort experience did not match the luxury pricing or expectations at all.

    We just left a 7 night stay at the grove. We went to Disney two days out of the 7, and it was a close drive- 15min maybe? Overall- the grove was a great choice for kids. The water park was super cute with littles slides etc, and the other side of the park with all the pools and hot tub also had a kid section. Do not be confused about the restaurant “situation “ like we were and just know Valencia, the main restaurant (and only restaurant), bc the other one is a bar/bar food etc, was not bad at all- but they advertise 3 restaurants—- it’s the same restaurant with rotating menus, sometimes a buffet- not super vegan friendly in case anyone needs this info, BUT they actually were kind and tried for my husband. Somehow, we didn’t have a cleaning the whole time we were there even though I called twice, but I ended up getting a $50 voucher for that. But yeah, the lazy river is cool (currently being resurfaced fyi for two weeks), the little kids area is great, and overall was a nice place to stay.

    The resort is very big, and it can be confusing to get around in the hallways, the hallways, and in our workings of the resort, feel more like you’re walking through a giant apartment complex. Every room had a screened in balcony, which is really nice to dry bathing suits and towel towels, and if you wanted to sit outside, you didn’t have to worry about the bugs. There was also a washer and dryer in the unit, which made it really easy to be able to take care of Emergency laundry on vacation.

    We really liked our stay at the Grove! Had a few hiccups in the room (broken toaster, tv not working properly) but the staff was very accommodating and was super quick to fix things for us! Really liked the spacious rooms, the pools, the arcade and the water park! Our bed could have been a little more comfy but otherwise we were very happy with our room and our overall time at the Grove!

    3 pools, water park included, restaurants and Al Fresco, housekeeping came quickly when we asked for extra towels, toilet paper, food for sale at food cabana at pools, decent size gym and equipment but nothing spectacular, beautiful drive once you turn into resort with palm tree lined entrance, I did not use it but they had buses going to the parks, great walking/running path around the premises, secluded and away from Disney area about 30 minutes if you like more privacy. A lot—looked worn; elevators had dirty floors and tiles were broken; main floor inside walking hallways from your room to pools extremely narrow which made me laugh because the premises are large but they made these narrow traveling hallways where two people could not fit width wise with luggage ?; definitely not enough chairs at pool for all of the people there—if you wanted a chair you’d have to leave room early and put your towel down to assure you had a spot; check-in attendants not knowledgeable and when you called down to front desk it took forever for a person to answer, HAD TO PAY EXTRA FOR PARKING WHEN YOU HAVE SO MANY PARKING SPOTS, THAT IS VERY WRONG, PARKING SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED—not happy we had to pay daily parking fee which with all the extra resort taxes came out to be $50/day; any little thing you wanted you had to pay extra for ie: keurig coffee maker available but they did not provide pods you had to purchase them at Al Fresco; no basketball/pickleball/tennis/outdoor ping pong tables on premises even though there’s tons of open space for it; no golf carts to get to places for older people; no activities organizer for kids and teens ie: no pool aerobics classes, no kids pool activities, no teen mixers so other teens can meet each other. THEY RESLLY SHOULD HIRE AN ACTIVITIES ADVISOR AND IF THERE IS ONE ALREADY THEY NEED MORE ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED—my 3 teens were very bored. If you have teens that are looking for on premises activities this is not the place for them, much better for smaller children. Basically, even though it is labeled “RESORT”, THERE ARE SURELY NO EXTRAS. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS HOTEL—IN MY DEFENSE I DID NOT RESD YHE FINE PRINT SND BECAUSE OF THAT I WAS DISAPPOINTED—that is my fault. It’s a learning lesson for the next time when I book another resort next time.

    The property was nice. The staff was professional and willing to assist. I didn’t like the water park is open to the public. My suggestion will be to open the water park to the guest from a tame frame and to the public at a different time. That way the guest who have paid to enjoy the entire resort is able to have access to the Cabana, reserve seating and pools. It was my daughter sweet 16 birthday and all the Cabana’s seating areas were booked and the pools were over crowded. We did not get to experience the water park at all. The halls are horrible. The outside of the resort is nice. The owners should look into decorating the halls maybe making each building a theme of the parks. The elevators need updating, along with carpet. The entire halls need updating.

    The pool area was nice. Its location, the buildings are very hard to navigate. More signage would be appreciated, actual essential items should be available.     The convenience of the water park. The room had missing essential items such as a broom and ironing board. Toaster and microwave were defected. The bed sheets had blood stains. There were other stains on the towels, lamp shades and curtains. The Valencia restaurant was terribly expensive for the quality of food and the lack of cleanliness. The table the host brought us to had a pile of trash and food under the table. The table itself was sticky. The food was cold and mild in flavor and the cost was $148 for 2 adults and 2 children for a buffet with cold food.

    It was a wonderful place to relax, whether alone or with family. The pool area was well-maintained and clean. However, I would suggest informing guests about any additional fees for extra cleaning days. For example, we stayed for seven days and the room was cleaned on our fifth day, it would be helpful to know in advance. Additionally, we weren’t informed that pool towels could be changed daily by texting or calling, while shower towels could only be changed every three days. Just a heads up, the hotel doesn’t accept cash; everything must be paid by credit card. Despite these minor details, the overall experience was fantastic.

    Room was large and very clean. Common areas in the hotel buildings could use a freshen up but overall experience was excellent. Full kitchen and washer/dryer made this stay easy. Kitchen allowed me to cook for my kids for some meals and bring lots of snacks/drinks. Lots of daily activities. We were able to rent fishing poles ($35 for 2 kids). Usually price is for 2 hours but was able to keep them all day and go back and forth from fishing to the pool. Boat rides and mini golf were fun. I would recommend this resort to any family looking for a great getaway with kids or staycation if you live in the area.

    Beds had no mattress protectors on them just a flat sheet that is always coming off through the night so you wake up on a dirty mattress.     Housekeeping was another major issue. The letter at check-in stated service would be provided every other day, but that did not happen. After I complained, someone finally came to clean on Sunday. However, that was the last time anyone came to refresh towels or remove trash unless I personally called again on Wednesday. For a family traveling with kids, this was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. The most concerning part of our stay was discovering unsanitary conditions in the room that felt unhealthy and unsafe, especially with a child present. It was honestly mortifying to see and not something any guest should experience while on vacation. While the resort provided a credit for one night and removed some parking charges, the compensation did not fully reflect the discomfort and inconvenience we experienced throughout the stay. After reading other recent reviews from February 2026, it seems our experience was not an isolated incident, which is very concerning. I truly hope management improves cleanliness and housekeeping standards because the property has potential, but the guest experience is clearly lacking.

    The rooms were not the cleanest. The floors were filthy even just checking in. Feet and socks turned black. And they don’t clean for the duration of your stay! The towels are not uniform and very cheap feeling. Costco towels in bulk are much better. Oh! And no water bottles. If you run out of water past 10pm you are totally out of luck. Stores are closed, on site store in closed, front desk don’t even have a single bottle to give you! Luckily a neighbor gave us some water the first night. After waiting for the restaurant so long and a full day of travel I assumed the very least there would be a few bottles of water in the rooms but no! The actual water park is nice and my kids and husband really enjoyed it. There are like half free available seating first come first serve. The rest is reserved for an up charge! I get cabanas but a good number of the regular chairs are reserved only. And they are super strict about the pool towels. You must maintain the proper number of pool towels or you will be charged for lost towels. You have to wash your own towels!

    Navigating the hotel was terribly complicated. Elevators are not marked, nor is the direction for the water park. This is a large place and it’s easy to head in the wrong direction! The food was average. The restaurant was advertised as having steak and seafood but when we arrived, they had recently switched over to a “create your own dinner” style where you mark off what you would like in your taco or salad. The service was “ok”. Not sure we would stay again.

    Room beautiful, spacious and spotless. Upon arrival I always clean the room with disinfectant spray and disinfectant wipes and usually there is debris on the wipes or staining after wiping but the wipes were completely clean. The staff was friendly and the amenities were great you really do not have to leave the resort once you are there. They have every amenity to keep you and your family occupied. Big plus was the waterpark ticket entry was included in the cost of room. Ive stayed at resorts where it was an additional cost for the waterpark entry which made no sense if its advertised as an amenity offered by the hotel. They even have a grocery store and restaurants a little pricey but it’s to be expected. My family and I ended up going to walmart and publix which was about 1.5-2 miles away and getting the items needed for our stay. Overall 5 stars will definitely be staying again.

    Pros: -Large room very spacious. - free cleaning supplies (you'll never guess why,tho) - water amenities - close to gas, grocery, restaurants, stores. Cons: - Costly for what you get. - Doesn't provide hand towels or washcloths (this was a first for me in a resort) I mean, it's weird to not have a washcloth...you have to special request a towel to dry your hands after using the bathroom. Weird. - Charges for everything. Lost key? Charge. Early registration? Charge. Parking? Charge. Late check out? Room cleaning. When is the last time you stayed some place where you had to schedule housekeeping and pay a fee? Wild. The first paper they gave me was a full page in 12 point font outlining every possible fee for me. - Water park is 2 slides and a lazy river. And if you lose a pool towel? Charge. And if you lose your entry bracelet? Guess what? Charge. The bracelets are adjustable but only one way (tighter) so inevitably you find yourself losing feeling in your hand only to discover you have no scissors to cut it off with. - Text spamming: they sent me 6 texts in a 48 hours. - far from Disney.

    The room was unkept. Furniture was broken and old. Shower tiles were filthy and chipped. The wall in the bathroom appeared to have water damage. The grounds of the entire hotel were very dirty. There was a barbecue sauce spill in our hallway that was there for 3 whole days. The staff were mediocre at best. I wouldn’t stay here again.
