The water never got hot, we had a bottom room and the room above us was loud all night. Called front desk but it still continued. The beds were the only thing that was nice. You could tell everything was spot cleaned but not throughly cleaned. But for the price and location it was okay but don’t let the pics online fool you.

Overall I would absolutely stay here again, but here are some things to note. I opted for the 3 bed room because it was obviously larger. In pictures, the room I chose had a full size stove but the room actually had a 2 burner countertop area, medium sized fridge, kitchen size sink. The issue is that the amenity of a stove is offered, yet there are no pots/pans/flatware/plates/bowls/etc. I would have never expected to choose a room with a stove but bring my own pots & pans; maybe I should have. We were able to bring our dog for $10 a day and that is the most valuable piece for me. They have a small area for animals to potty with bags available to clean up after your dog, yet still people are lazy and don’t; so beware of that. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The gentleman that checked us in was an absolute GEM of a human. He was very kind and helpful, especially when our DoorDash didn’t bring flatware. I believe the owner was the one to help me with replacement of the parking pass. He was 100/10 as well. Overall it was great for what we needed, we would stay again without hesitation, and simply bring the items needed to stay in and cook.

Staff was friendly You have to ask for dishes. I was offered a dirty pot to cook with and nothing to wash it with. Bathroom had someone else’s hair in it.

They had a really nice shower and nice sized fridge! The beds were comfortable and the staff were very nice. They made sure we had plenty of towels each time! When we got into our we noticed that there were hand prints of dirt all over the walls and the sheets had stains all over them. I understand some things can’t come out but these looked like blood stains. The last two nights we had people above us and they ran up and down the stairs and stomped the entire night waking us up and it was very rude. The parking lot was small so we had to be careful on how close we were to someone’s car. They had a nice cooktop but there were no pots or pans so we couldn’t use it.

The worse thing about our stay was the people beside us was banging on doors and walls and cursing every night around 2:00AM for several hours. Domestic dispute I guess. The room had nice working functioning locks on the doors and I never felt unsafe.

Property is well appointed regarding room layout and functionality. Has laundry facilities, but lacks a pool or grill area. Beds very comfortable so sleep is good.

Booked a king suite but received standard 2 full size room; fridge leaked water on floor because it was not plugged in and had thawed; floor had a slick residue on it; ended up leaving early because people were cutting up outside at 1:00am.

There are some extended stay people who live here I assume so there are dogs that can be noisy and bark hours of the night parking is very slim at night if u arrive late .... this is an older motel so nothing is new but for cheap stay or want to save some money this is the place ... there are some interesting company that hangs around but to be fair if you know wilmington this is market st not the rich side of town so its to be expected but there are genuine people here also overall not bad place to stay for the price just rooms need little tlc in my opinion

Everything was great. We had everything we needed and their was a lot of restaurants near by as well.

The room itself was fair, the location had us second guessing our booking as we heard sirens most of the evening. A lot of sketchy individuals walking and riding bicycles so I locked up my hitch and other items in the back of my truck. We did have a peaceful night and nothing was stolen.

Room was gross. Weird large table in the room clearly being stored in there forsome reason since it was wrapped with a Moving blanket. Shower was gross and would not drain the shower pan filled up and ran over onto the floor which would explain the state of the door. Swolen and gross. Took about 40 min to drain. I had to use almost all my towels for the floor. Towels were thin and cheap. I would like at least 40% of my money back.

All around the edges of the room could see visible dirt/crime that had built up. Hairs in the bathroom beside the toilet, again how did housekeeping miss this ? The owner was rude and wouldn’t refund my money and called me stupid because I tried to rent the room for the next couple of days but I canceled it because I put the wrong dates but don’t ever go there it’s nasty and have bugs

Well what I didn't like was I didn't even stay there this pass weekend due to the man working being a butt hole this time. I never have any problems until this pass weekend he has checked me in several times and have seen my boyfriend with me everytime and all of a sudden he wants to see his ID. I booked the room not him and he's not a local. I don't know what his problem was this particular night but something needs to be done about him and his attitude. I will be getting in touch with cooperate about this incident so it can be better explained and I will be letting them know about a conversation he chose to have with me that was inappropriate about the N word from a situation that occurred on another night I booked a room there. He caused this place to lose over 300 dollars because I stayed at another hotel for 4 nights.

There was mold growing in the heating/air-conditioning unit, the floors were dirty and clearly had not been swept, and there were whiskers in the bathroom sink, as if someone had just shaved. There was part of a burrito and it’s black olive in the garbage disposal, which was not even covered correctly for safety. There were multiple cigarette burns on the bathroom sink countertop, the room was non-smoking and smelled of smoke. It listed that it had a kitchenette, but there was literally no silverware, cups, plates, bowls, or anything you could actually use to make anything using the stove or microwave. I actually ended up checking out a day early because the room was so disgusting. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but it had no boxspring and the spring frame. It was on squeaked. The shower looked nice and recently remodeled, but I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible so I didn’t use the shower.

We enjoyed our stay for 10 days it's a very nice hotel

The only thing I didn't like was when you want to cook everything you need isn't available.

Well the only thing I don't like is you can't smoke in the rooms so I would only smoke when I went out. Because it was to cold to stand out and smoke so I toughed it out but that's not really a big deal.

We were moved to a new room after all of our things were soaked. The “comforter” is also just a sheet, maybe a centimeter thick at best, so bring your own blankets I guess. And the whole place smelled terrible. Throughout the room flooding ordeal, we were never offered an apology, only complete rudeness.

The kitchenette was odd at best and dirty so would not have used it. The fridge wobbled Ice tray- no thank you. Paint job looked like my granddaughter did it There were spots all over the walls. You get what you pay for. It was fine for a night which is all I needed as I had an early out of town appointment to go to. The shower head didn’t have a mount and lots of wear in tear throughout the room. However, despite the cosmetic look, it felt clean. There was also a big thunderstorm while I was out of the room for dinner. When I came back, there was a big puddle under the AC unit. But it worked and slept well that night. So again, if you need a cheap place to stay and can put up with some small quarks- this is a solid place to stay. Plus you have a full kitchen and several places to eat near by. However, if you can’t stand an old facility and expect everything to be perfectly, you will be disappointed.

My fault for not realizing this was a MOTEL. Bad part of town. Really noisy all night long- like NYC noisy; lots of sirens too. Very strong smell of cleaning agents, but floors and bathroom were filthy. Pictures were deceiving- looked like a nice kitchenette, but very cramped. Would not stay here again.

The staff was amazing. Felt like family felt like you were coming home at the end of the day. Everybody’s super nice and housekeeping to the front office. I will definitely stay here again in the future when I come to Wilmington.

Moving forward to the room itself, everything seemed mostly clean. The towels were quite dingy and stained. The shower grate shifted far too easily. The bedding was not very comfortable. We at one point asked for extra towels and the front desk staff person asked “How many people do you have in there?” As if there was a cap on how many towels a person could use. I chose this location because it was “pet friendly” and this is the most hyperbolic statement imaginable. There was a 6x6 patch of grass with waste bags to use, other than that no green space.

This is our second time staying here. We came last year and it went a lot smoother. We booked this room online as reserve now and pay later. About two hours from the destination I get an email that all three of our rooms were cancelled. They tried to run a card I used last year which they had no permission to do. I call the hotel and they assured me they would hold our rooms until we arrived. We arrive and pay cash for all three rooms and get receipts. Then our last night there the owner decides to call me at 11 pm to tell me that one of our rooms needs to have a credit card on file because it has not been paid for. Not only that, he was beating on our doors at 11 pm to collect. Ridiculous. I will never go there again. Besides that the tv was frozen because someone logged into their home accounts and then left. The hotel had no idea how to fix it. The fridges barely got cold so our food was sweating to death.

I had know place to hang my shirts, The chairs are uncomfortable, I thought there's going to be a bathtub, not just a shower, !

In the first room we were given, the air wouldn’t go below 72° so we asked for help. He assured us at the front desk that it would go down by itself. But none of the buttons worked. So we requested a different room and the AC definitely worked in that one! In both rooms you could see drink rings on every surface, thick dust on top of the fridge, mold or hair in the shower, and in one room the toilet was wobbly. One bed was sunken in the middle and I had to work hard to keep from rolling. I finally had to just move to the other bed. We spent $150 to stay one night in a dirty room. I’m not bougie by no means but I do think the room should be clean at the very least. We won’t be staying here again!

One bed was sunken in the middle and I had to work hard to keep from rolling. I finally had to just move to the other bed. We spent $150 to stay one night in a dirty room. I’m not bougie by no means but I do think the room should be clean at the very least. We won’t be staying here again!

Deceptive! Pictures are most likely from when room was freshly renovated. Cheap patchwork dirty floors (but not filthy) No pans ( induction pan needed for stove top) or dishes for use of kitchenette. Front desk attendant rude and dismissive. Nothing I was expecting from a 7.1 review. Homeless hanging around. If just looking for a basic bed to rest, this is it!

The hotel is not in the best condition. The door to our room was damaged so there was some light coming in from outside inside. It is not like the pictures. Everything is cheaply put together and our room smelt like cigarettes. The worst part is that on the morning of our checkout there was a big roach in the bathroom. Needless to say, we will never stay here again.

Coming from Fayetteville NC comparing the kitchenette this property has a top rating , walkable to restaurants , gas station will need uber/lyft for grocery store or shopping centers ( if not driving or just don’t want to drive around )

As they say you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig…that describes this property…it’s still a Motel 6.

I enjoyed my state front desk was awesome.

It was a good value.

You pay what you get . The water pressure was great and hot and I loved that it came with a stove top the ac was great but cleanliness wise the towels and wash clothes look dirty and had lil stains on them and right when I went to look at the shower a baby roach was crawling in the shower … other that that there were many places to chose from to eat at But this place is only good for a over night stay .

The guy who checked us in was great. But we had no towels and asked for more. Both days. No towels. The floors were dirty in our room. The sheets were not clean. The guy showed me where the maids got the laundry and never washed any looking for more towels. I was very disappointed because this place had great reviews and I was just not happy at all. The best thing about it was the shower and water pressure. That's it. Sorry, I just don't see how this place has such a high score with reviews. Now if you are looking for a place to save money, this is it. But don't expect anything else.

Location was good, checkin was great. Very strong chemical smells in the room. It’s clear that bare minimum cleaning is done due to sticky spots on the floors, months and months of dirt and crud on tops of things such as the hair dryer, etc. For the intense odor that had our noses running and our ESA sneezing (even a day later after leaving) you would think that the place was spotless. The door doesn’t shut all the way unless you really push on it. The dog walk / potty spot is well taken care of.

This place was fantastic! The staff was nice and accommodating, and the room was very clean!

They were closed due to transformer blew no power … no room did not stay there …

When I come to town this is one of the few places I’ll choose to stay…the hotel is close to everything and the rooms are always nice and clean…Jim at the front desk is fantastic!! He’s incredibly helpful and if need be he is quick to help with anything you may need😁

Sketchy and scary if you’re a woman traveling alone. Dog running loose barking so I was scared to even take my dog out on a leash. I hardly slept because the people staying there were so loud outside. Also ROACHES. it was awful.

Owner is a good person very polite

The stay was fine, I was only there 3 nights. Definitely some noise in the area but. Jrhjbg can be done about that. The room looked like it had that “last minute once over” rather than being cleaned. Minor damages around the room but everything worked. Bed was comfy. Staff was happy and friendly.

Was the second stop on a road trip with the dogs good little spot to stop

This place was pretty disgusting. The sheets were dirty, so I put on my own blankets. The floor was filthy and the bathroom had pink mold. Would not recommend.

It was ok for a last minute stay

The manager was nice, housekeeping was nice. That's the only good thing. Room was disgusting. You could smell it before you opened the door, a door which had evidence of being pried open more than once. Plaster & paint were peeling. Shower plumbing not sealed, bathroom sink plumbing exposed & no bathroom counter. There's a covered drain in the floor where the toilet once was. Nice coffee maker & toaster but no outlets to plug them in unless you unplug a lamp on the floor. Roaches (i have pictures). And the bed... horrific. It was declined & matress was sunken in; it kept feeling like it was going to collapse. This isn't an indictment on the entire chain, but this place needs to be raised. And they put us near the road and downstairs; you hear every car, & it sounds like a heard of elephants walking on the upper floor. If this was the only place you could stay in Wilmington, go camping. And it it was over $90! I tried to stay cheap & got what i asked for. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20-$30 & stay somewhere cleaner. I feel like i need a vaccine after staying at this place. It's also mostly used for traveling work crews who stay for weeks or months at a time.

Very comfortable to stay. Costco and Super Walmart are very close, so convenient to shopping and cooking.

The pictures of the hotel show the most renovated part. The rest of the room, not quite as nice. The best part of my room was the shower. Needed better bug control.

Staff was welcoming and friendly...great room..with 3/4 fridge with large freezer and kitchenette for a great low price!
