Wasn’t as clean either- looked like a quick Job.

Check in was quick and easy, Emma was great. Check out was too and Annie B. was very friendly. Breakfast was typical, Hampton Inn used to be a step above their competitors but not so much now. Parking was always close to the door. Quiet location.

My stay was great. The staff were very friendly and work to accommodate anything that we needed. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The setup is very good with King and a foldout couch. The room even had a separate sink and kitchen area. The room could really accommodate a very large families if you bring a couple blow up mattresses.

A great find. Well located with easy parking. A very friendly and helpful staff. Obviously a well maintained facility with a great breakfast. Really couldn’t ask for more. We will be back on our next trip to Wilmington.

Pretty run down and evidently not properly cleaned by house keeping

It has everything that we need to feel comfortable from the friendly courteous staffs to great breakfast. I found the shower was still dirty. There was a grime looked like maybe squirt of probably a conditioner or shampoo left over from the previous stay.

Can’t think of anything not to like about this hotel

The air conditioner/ heater in our room 320 was so loud when it turned on I practically jumped out of a deep sleep and killed myself trying to get away from it. This happened EVERY TIME it turned on. EVERY NIGHT.

Didn’t give me the correct request even after messaging property 2 months in advance. After all of my stays this IS the first time this has happened. Still great place to stay and would stay here again.

I do a lot of research before planning any trip, and this stay exceeded my expectations. No wonder the reviews were so good!!! The beds were comfortable, the amenities were just right, the breakfast was outstanding, and the customer service was amazing. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay at this hotel.

Loved the breakfast at our Hampton Inn as expected. It's one of the reasons we prefer it along with clean room and bathroom.

The breakfast bar included with the room rate was excellent. It had extensive hot and continental items. The lady running it was very nice and helpful.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn because of going on a college tour with my granddaughter. It was easy to get to and very close to the campus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We went to their breakfast in the morning and I was very impressed with their selections and the staff helping with the kitchen was very friendly and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Due to our limited time we didn’t get to use any of the amenities but overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Wilmington area.

The room was clean, breakfast was good, parking was easy, there is an outdoor pool available, and there are many easy food and shopping options nearby. The only thing that could use updating is the bathroom. Overall good value.

As a gluten free eater (not celiac, but GF for other health reasons, I was happy to see plain oatmeal as a breakfast option. I was able to add my own maple syrup and it worked.

Location, friendly staff Beds uncomfortable. Sheets and blankets did not even fit over the beds. Small rooms- 2 Queen room should have a lounge chair and a table. No fresh water in lobby. Every other day cleaning is terrible. At least make the beds, empty the tiny teach cans and tidy the room

Staff were great. They breakfast was awesome. The room was not cleaned properly. There were dental floss sticks in the bathroom under the cabinet and on the floor in the near the TV. The refrigerator was making a awful hum. We unplugged it so we could sleep.

I had a good experience. This was a mid range hotel. The staff were welcoming, professional, and friendly. The room could use updating but was clean. Bed was comfortable. The highlight was the included breakfast and coffee. It was surprisingly very good. I would stay there again

Receptionists were nice. I called this property before going to Expedia and was told there were no rooms available for Saturday night. Fortunately, I was able to book through Expedia. On check-in I found out there were still 12 rooms available.

My room smell musky only to find out the fridge leaked on the carpet. They moved me to another room the next morning. The new room toilet flush handle was broke. I had to take the lid off to flush it the rest of my stay. It is a old hotel, but they are not putting money into upkeep. If I could get my money back I would.

Our blinds don’t work so we feel a little exposed at night. Not worth moving to a different room and we did not alert the front desk.

Hands down best included breakfast we've had. Staff was so helpful, brought back a late dinner and forgot forks! They kindly showed me where I could grab some. We brought our dog with us. All staff had a smile whenever they saw her. We will be back!

My water didn’t run hot, someone was banging on the wall constantly, I called the front desk to complain and the staff said there was nothing they could do and hung up. I am very disappointed in my stay.

The bar was closed both nights due to not having staff show up to work…during the Memorial Day weekend. There was a dog that pooped on the carpet and the floor on the second floor. They were overbooked, however the customer service was outstanding and their rooms were very clean and updated. My bad experience was a one off… if it wasn’t for that it would have been a perfect stay.

It was nice; love that the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion were all attached to the wall in dispenser. A much more environmentally friendly way of doing things. However, I was disappointed in that there weren’t phone/USB charging/outlets. Many other hotels have these and it’s really convenient.

The property was just fine, very manicured, lawns and shrubbery. The front desk staff was very helpful and I visited the bar to find a bartender that was excellent. I had a great time and recommend her services with your company in the future. I will be back.

Nice and clean. First time staying here and I would for sure stay again. I used to stay at another hotel when in the area and they had a pest problem. That is why I changed to the Hampton Inn in Wilmington and I am very happy that I did.

Our room smelled like a sweaty sock and there was hair stuck to the bathroom walls that clearly was not ours. The first night there was a drunken irate man shocking obscenities at the top of his lungs for HOURS and staff did nothing. I called the front desk multiple times with no answer and later we were told they couldn’t do anything for us bc we booked through Expedia. So I paid money for somewhere to sleep and couldn’t actually sleep. On top of that my children were woken up to F bombs being thrown. Ridiculous.

Due to the snow storm on 1/19/2024 in NOVA I checked out early on 1/18/2025 and did not spend 1/18/2025 on property. Imagine my surprise to receive a charge of $200.80 on 1/19/2025. I will address this directly with the hotel.

We had a terrific stay while we visited with family. Check-in was seamless. Room was clean. Quiet halls. Housekeeping every day. Delicious breakfasts with different egg and bacon / sausage options, waffle machine with plain and flavors. Issue with rooom handled promptly.

The entire stay was made by the front desk lady. I have to say I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and she was the nicest, most professional, and helpful of any person I have dealt with. This lady deserves a big promotion. She is what every employer wants in an employee that deals with the public.

We had a decent stay at this hotel. Check-in was fast and friendly. The room was moderately clean, but we did have a few small roaches appear, and that was unfortunate. They brought extra towels but didn’t bring additional coffee (not a huge deal because you had coffee 24/7 in the lobby). Overall, it was a decent place to stay while we visited the area.

Everything was great until they started hammering and drilling at 6:30AM. Not good - it was the only day I was able to sleep in and could not!

My only complaint is the a/c. When it kicks in it is freezing. But the second it shuts off the temp rises like 10 degrees. Would love it to be more consistent. But location to UNCW is perfect

Everything about the stay was fine. Beds were comfortable, parking was easy and safe, staff was friendly and helpful. For the price, though, I was expecting a better breakfast. While adequate, it was no better than any of the cheaper hotel chains, and not as good as many of them.

Our stay was for a quick beach getaway. Check in was awesome, the room wasnt as big as i expected and didnt have a pull out couch as i thought it would but we made it work. Breakfast was good and the attendant was awesome she made fresh cookies for my two youngest girls be cahse we were celebreting birthdays with our little getaway.

The hose cleaner, she didn’t take the trash out.

We met too many ant in the room.

I stay at this hotel whenever I am in Wilmington which is multiple times a year. I have always had the best experience while there.

The most friendly staff, I've experienced during my travel. The rooms are large and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is perfect. I would definitely stay at the hotel again!

We also had a lacrosse team staying on our floor, slamming doors in the middle of the night. When my husband addressed it in the morning with the front desk staff, the man replied saying "you should have heard them down here in the lobby last night!". As an employee of the hotel maybe their behavior should have been addressed before they woke up half the floor!

Staff at checkin and breakfast were great. Food plentiful and good variety. In room bathroom had hair on the floor and specs of beard shavings in sink. Some tile missing. Sheets a bit scratchy. Pillows were good. Plenty parking. Close to UNCW and restaurants.

First off the price! Hampton Inn had the better price over surrounding hotels. The hotel was clean.The staff was friendly and it was convenient to my event in wilmington as well as restaurants et cetera.

Everything was really good. Only issue was the room was warm and never seemed to get cool enough, and the outside temp was only in the 50s

Very clean property and the breakfast offerings and service was great. Our room was nice and clean, good space with comfortable beds. The shower in our room did not have good water pressure and made a loud squealing noise, but other than that we were very happy with our stay.

Everyone was friendly and everything was clean. Breakfast was wonderful! I have stayed one time before and will return!

This hotel is very clean the furniture looked new the bed was very comfortable.The only thing we current turn on the heater we tried but never turned on. I am recommending this hotel I personally going back to it.The coffee is very good they have good breakfast 6-10am can’t wait to stay there again.

location was excellent for this trip ,easy movement for intended destinations involved for trip. Staff addressed questions presented to them.
