However, I would not choose to stay here again. Upon check-in, the front desk had me sign a strict no-smoking policy, yet when we entered our room, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. As a parent traveling with my children, this was concerning. Unfortunately, it was late in the evening and we weren’t able to make other arrangements, so we made the best of the situation for the night.

I’ve been to many extended-stay properties and this has yet been the worst. At first glance, it seems OK but then you feel like you’re walking into an old motel. The smell that comes from the very dirty carpet in the hallways is atrocious and it gets worse as you walk into the bedroom. My bedroom had a very strong smell of urine by the closet area.It’s almost as if they haven’t had the carpet cleaned in a very long time. This is the property that accepts pets and I can only imagine what happens in these rooms. Everything else in the bedroom seemed pretty clean, although I did find a cockroach crawling on the desk chair in the room. The staff I would say were OK. I had actually extended my stay and called the Front Desk past 11 AM to informed them that I had extended my stay online and they we’re able to answer my question but I will say that the Tone was very much pressing, and in less than a 10 minute. Had called me twice to make sure I come down to the front desk to add a card for incidentals when I was already staying in the hotel and told them I would be coming down.

The location was close to family and shopping. The rooms were extremely dated. The rooms were not clean. My family member had to be moved because the room was not clean. A staff member told my sister, "we can't keep moving rooms."

What amenities? You had to take out your own trash, exchange 1:1 dirty towels, etc, and change your own sheets. It was dark, smelled. Staff was quick to tell you what you, the guest, needed to do, but completely unhelpful otherwise. When I took my sheets to exchange, first, I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to even show up at the front desk and then I was told they were too busy to give me clean sheets. It took them almost 2 hours to bring sheets to my room. You had to ask for dishes and coffeemaker if you wanted one. It felt more like a rooming house instead of an extended stay hotel. Keys often quit working randomly. Oh, almost forgot! The first night there I saw a full sized rat running along the outside wall away from the entrance area. NEVER AGAIN

This location informed me upon my arrival that my debit card wouldn't be accepted for incidentals because it was an online bank. Other online banks include Chime, Ally, etc. Please make sure you have a credit or debit card from a brick-and-mortar bank location. If we didn't have another card on us we would've been hours from home without a hotel room on a holiday weekend. This rule is not on the listing nor is it posted anywhere by the front desk, or on the hotel's website. It's an annoying surprise you get to figure out when you arrive.

This is the worst excuse for an extended stay place. Absolutely no amenities. Zero. Zilch. Might as well be living in an apartment. You have to take out your own trash, ask for dishes, exchange dirty towels/linens for clean. Had I realized I was staying in such an awful place right away, I would have moved. By the time I realized it, it was going to be too much of a hassle to move and get some $$ back. I don’t know about other Extended Stay America properties but this is a big fat zero

The property was great location. The rooms were clean. My room experienced power outage. Front desk staff was excellent with handling the situation. They moved me to another room two rooms down. Only one elevator operable at time of my stay

There were no amenities. Atleast a kettle in the room would have been very helpful. Had a kitchen with not even a cup and spoon…it was my worst stay at an extended stay property.

I wasn’t expecting a Hilton, but I admit I was expecting better from the Hotel than we received.

The breakfast, however, was quite minimal. It consisted of a grab-and-go setup with a few pastries in plastic packaging, coffee/tea, and some fruit on a fold-up cart. It felt quite limited compared to expectations. We also experienced significant noise issues. There was a family staying upstairs with children, and due to the wooden floors and ceilings, even normal walking sounded very loud, making it difficult to sleep. We requested a room change twice and were eventually moved after expressing concern about leaving. The first room had a noticeable odor, likely because it was a pet-friendly room without carpeting. The second room was better in terms of smell, but it had visible cigarette burn marks around the bathroom sink area. Parking is tight and someone in a hiked up truck pulling out of his space clipped my bumper, costing me hundreds of dollars to the rental car company. Overall, while the staff service was strong, the comfort and condition of the rooms did not meet expectations.

Floors not cleaned to the edges of the walls. Saw dead bugs and yucky floor, dust behind bedside table. I think they're just surface cleaning. I did not like the $100 deposit.

Someone from management needs to go stay there so you can understand what you need to focus on in your hotel. Beds were hard. I was treated as if I was going to break the rules bc I had a pet. I did not feel comfortable at all. My room was extremely loud employees walking by talking so loud I could hear it over my TV and ac. I used to clean houses and the cleaning was very low standard for a 100$ a night room. The corners need scrubbed bc they don't like to clean them. You can tell the effort is not there. I will advise people to spend the money and stay across the road.

Many of the employees were very friendly and helpful. Some were a very nice but a bit deceitful. Finding extra charges, ( phone NEVER used, early check-in extending stay, OVERPRiSED laundry $10 per load) generally nickel and diming. Breakfast is a joke, bad joke. Little Debbie's snacks.

Easy check in..place was quiet enough for my 2 day stay! Marquis at the front desk was very informative and very nice and pleasant! Definitely enjoyed that! Will I stay again? Absolutely! Thanks for a pleasant stay! Can't say there was anything I didn't like! ??

I was told once I arrived that I had to pay $100 security deposit which should have been shown when it was booked. Then I had to use a certain card for the deposit which meant I had to take cash out of one account and go to a bank and put it in another .

I was in Wilmington for one night with my dog for an event. As far as the hotel staff they were very nice however the outdoor property was horrible. For anyone staying with a dog I would not recommend this property as not only was there no space allotted for the dog to relive themselves but also no lawn at all, with lots of trash scattered around and homeless people loitering the property at all hours of the night. They were outside drinking, etc. I have a very large dog but even still it was so uncomfortable between the people hanging around and the lack of clean surroundings that I had to walk him across the street at another hotel property. As far as inside it was a typical semi rundown looking place. My room appeared clean enough until I went to take a shower to find a used soap bar up top and a toilet that continued to clog throughout the night. I have never needed to leave a review like this but people need to know. If I hadn’t arrived later in the evening with an already prepaid room I would have left to find a new place to stay.

apparently someone failed to clean the bathroom as it had soap scum all around, and in the bath/shower, the toilet had hair and bodily fluids in the space between the seat lid and tank. Even inside the toilet bowl was disgusting. It appeared as if it had not been cleaned & disinfected in weeks. The carpet stains were in full view, I wore socks to protect my feet, and my socks turned black. I have pictures if it would help. The staff was friendly enough, and Dominique went above & beyond. She is deserving of some extra recognition.

Entered our room the room was filthy(have pics),there was no toilet paper, only small shampoo and soap was provided. Went to ask for the toilet paper the same rude man got an attitude. After dark there were homeless as well as women of the night standing all around the parking lot.when we asked what was going on we were told that they had cut down the woods were the homeless stayed so now they hang out in their parking lot because they have no where to go. The cleaning was not good, the previous renters eye drops were still in the fridge, bathroom trash was not removed. Bed was clean, bedding was low quality but function. It worked for what we needed but will not go out of my way to stay here again.

Lacks cleanliness in common areas and the room. The floors were so dirty and my kids even found lumps of hair flying around in the room when we entered. Would suggest alternatives if they are better.

This hotel was pretty run down, red splater stains on the wall, bathroom door couldnt shut counter was broken, then outside homeless people everywhere, and groups of people standing around the cars smoking weed. We decided not to stay and just lose the money spent on the hotel.

My problem: no hair dryer, no coffee pot and supplies, couldn’t get internet! I’ve never stayed in a hotel that did not have a hair dryer and coffee pot. Yes I know I could have called the front desk to get the coffee pot but, you have a studio kitchen! Why not have the coffee pot! And paper cups?

Hmm where do I start reservation cancelled at 430 am unbeknownst to me, so upon arrival I wasn’t able to check in. Hotel staff was very unhelpfu, didn’t even attempt to offer a solution. When I asked if I could just book directly, he attempted to charge me double the fee for a 1 night stay 114.99 plus 114.99 . The Hotels.com support was even worse also not offering a solution nor attempting to solve the problem but keep mentioning they could relate to my situation, that was laughable. It’s literally 430 in the morning, I’m 3 hours from home and stranded out a hotel . Be for real, and to this day they have still not followed up about this very recent incident. Shameful .

I was very disappointed in our stay. It started from the time we checked inn. I had a service dog and was charged anyway. The blonde kid was rude and stated you don’t follow federal law. My dog detects seizures. People were hanging out and drinking in the hallways. It wasn’t until after 2:00 in the morning until it started to quiet down. The room was not cleaned properly and we were actually scared to sit on the chairs. It looked like “white” stuff all over the furniture. I wish I had a black light. We went to the breakfast and there was nothing left. Overall it is not a place I will ever stay at again.

Motel set up more for extended stay individuals than short term stays. Full kitchen but not furnished with anything. Found bug in suitcase that could have been bed bug. Didn’t see any other bugs though. Will probably not return there again.

The door handle to the bathroom was missing. The carpet was heavily stained. Even saw a small cockroach in the shower. Very disappointed.

The outside definitely needed attention. It looked like they were working on the front and maybe just handy made their way around to the back. Overall it was a decent stay. The staff was amazing

The outside definitely needed attention. It looked like they were working on the front and maybe just handy made their way around to the back. Overall it was a decent stay. The staff was amazing

Very dirty bathroom full of hair in the sink , toilet durty with poop and full of roach it also smell very bad as soon as you walk in and it gets worst when you go in the room specially in the bathroom i personally had to leave the hotel could not stayed it their for the safe of my babys and i .

The rooms could use some upgrades, but all in all, it was a great stay. The staff was awesome, friendly and helpful. I'll be staying here again next time I'm in the area.

This property is well located near the center of Wilmington and 12 minutes from the beach. It has nearby restaurants and shops, making it a great place to bring your dog or pet.

It was a quiet stay as many were long term occupants. The neighborhood was quiet even for being in the city. The room's cleanliness was fairly good. There were a couple of issues that we addressed with management and they noted it without any excuses. The front desk folks were exceptional. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

I really just needed a room to sleep after a flight cancellation due to weather. I got there late and was leaving early so I didn’t want to spend a lot. I wanted to take a shower but felt like I’d be dirtier if I did. The shower looked disgusting. The toilet had a dirty ring at the water line, and the sink was dirty. The carpet was filthy. The tile area was sticky. None of the lamps worked. I normally would have asked to change rooms but it was so late and I had to catch a 7am flight so I needed to be up pretty early. Fortunately the bed looked clean. But it was absolutely not worth the almost $100 I spent for a gross room. I would never stay here again. It was room 233 on 5/8-5/9.

After they change our room from the first floor to the second floor it was ok. The first floor room had bugs running every where in the room, coffee pot didn’t work and had old tea bags in it , and bathroom sink was stopped up, they moved us to second floor and room was a lot better. Also there were people hanging around the building in the front and sides all the time day and nite

Well when i checked in they said i could not stay there cause they dont take locals, i was working in the area till 11pm and was to tired to drive the 30 min home because i had to be back at work at 6am. But then I gave them a different state license as i just moved here. Place was also old and floors in my room were dirty

Room smelled like an ashtray. The tile floor had cleaning mop marks but the entire thing was sticky. The bathroom walls were never cleaned and had drippy residue. The bath sink was dirty when I arrived.

Overall a great one night stay. The staff was exceptionally nice, computer system down due to the storm, but she handled it like a champ.

It was far better than the previous stays you booked for me. I was truly surprised by how clean it was, thanks for booking a great stay !!!!

I felt safe the whole time I stayed there.

There were cockroaches in the room and the staff said they'd "make a note." And the desk chairs had mold.

Front desk clerk took so long to come to the front I had to call the front desk, and when she finally came to the desk she had an attitude

There was bugs found in the bed. The front staff person Ashley was so kind and felt so bad. The manager Tracey was for nice and quickly refunded our money.

The staff was absolutely amazing.

I did not like anything… never book this property again
