    Well on arrival discovered it was no a hotel that was open ! Not a soul there pretty rubbish experience Not being told it was shut for a start! And also being offered an upgrade the day before!

    We booked through Expedia months in advance and received an early hotel check in THE DAY BEFORE to help our check in go faster and smoothly, but that was not the case… when we showed up in a cab, the place was completely shut down. The doors were all locked. There was not a car in the parking lot. We called both hotel numbers given on the website and one of them was UNAVAILABLE and the other, no one picked up. We were forced to pay for ANOTHER cab ride, and pay for ANOTHER hotel. Being from a different country and it being later in the evening in an area that seemed abandoned felt very unsafe. I’ve been trying to get a refund for 2 months now and have not received a dime yet. I keep getting told to “wait 48hours” or that “they need to investigate further”. Expedia called me and no one spoke, they hung up and pretended that there was a disconnect. This place is a scam. Do yourself a favour and dont book here. Stay at the Hilton, it’s a similar price, the staff are great, helpful and answer promptly. They have a free shuttle to downtown or the airport. And to top that, they’re actually open.

    Location It was filthy . I had to go to storage to get my vacuum and swiffer . I went to the store for paper towels , windex , bleach , sponges , room deodorizer etc. So disappointing. The room had an awful mold smell . I found the worst of the mold . Seriously, on the box springs of the beds your patrons sleep on ? Pools of A/C water all over the floors outside our front door . Awful condensation on the flooring inside the room every morning. Sofa bed disgustingly dirty and mattress was stained and uncomfortable. I could go on but I think this is quite enough .

    The bathroom floor had urine stains around the toilet and overall the property is in disrepair. The elevator's service license expired 3 years ago in 2022 and the pool closed at 8pm (we were kicked out) even though it was still very light out, as this is the summer in Florida. I would recommend closing the pool at 9pm during the summer as people want to spend extra time at the pool while on vacation in Florida. The pool also needed to be cleaned.

Both beds had a very high area right in the middle that was rock hard as if it were resting atop a bolder of granite. If I didn’t have a bad back before, I do now. The pool was filthy. 🤔 As I write this I’m wondering what will be written in the police report about what took place literally just outside of our door between 3:45 and 5:15 a.m. There was a verbal and physical altercation during a “Party” between two females.

    Definitely a ghetto area. Pool was decent. Breakfast was decent. Just an avg hotel. Older but slightly kept up. One thing that was beyond annoying and rude. They put these out of order signs on the elevators in the morning to keep people off them for the staff to use for cleaning rooms. I didn't know that til my handicapped mom had to hobble down 3 flights of stairs. Absolutely awful.

Rooms are pretty sound proof from adjoining rooms and vehicles passing by. Continental breakfast was included with eggs, pancakes, self made waffles, yogurts, cereals, fruits, apple and orange juices and chocolate or coffee tea all from a dispenser. Tea bags are available as well if others prefer. The pool is nicely maintained and in good condition. No gym and the elevator was under maintenance during my 5 night stay otherwise, I would recommend this property to others.

    The rooms were not that clean. Broken tiles in the shower and the tub did not drain well. The remote for the tv did not work. The room was hot and humid and did not feel like 60 degrees it was set to. We got a bottle of water from the front and they charged my card $75.

    The room was very old. Mold in shower and the handle in shower showed how old it was. The area is filled with pawn shops and the like. Not safe. It was so bad I chose to skip free breakfast than to risk going into the office area. Don't stay here!

    When we checked in, we were expecting a ADA compliant room and was told that we did have such room booked on the third floor however the elevator is out. To put a tremendous strain on my knees going up and downstairs was horrible. No one provided any assistance with luggage in this situation so having to carry luggage up and down three flights of stairs Was extremely painful.

    This is the friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! And I travel a lot. The hotel has been renovated and was very clean. The lighting in the parking lot is very bright which made me feel comfortable when I walked my dogs in the back. I will be booking again.

    We had to book this hotel last min because our flight was cancelled so we we're expecting a glamorous stay as it was booked at 11pm. So we got there late and didn't feel the safest with the sounds coming from the other hotel rooms/general exposure with the rooms being outside with just your hotel door as a barrier to the outdoors. Again, did't expect the Ritz but for nearly $400 a night, expected a little better.

    DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! To put it mildly, it’s a glorified motel that calls themselves a hotel. Wyndham should dump this property. I’d give this -5 stars if I could. The nonsense started right from day 1 when I first arrived. I can't add my full review due to character limits. The day I checked in I noticed the WiFi wasn’t working in my room, hence mentioning switching rooms. When I went to the front desk to inform them & she said, “oh yes, that’s a problem.” I asked why that was & she said the WiFi isn’t working on that whole side. I then asked what any normal person would ask, “you rent out a room knowing there is a WiFi issue?” Crickets. Now we get into the mention of switching rooms. I asked to be switched because of the WIFI issues, I need to be able to have sessions. She tells me that because I booked through a third party (Expedia) & that Expedia put restrictions on my room (she said she didn’t know what restrictions) & I must call them to switch rooms. I’ve been through this before, Expedia will put it back on them because it’s their issue. I reminded her that I am on vacation & I am not calling Expedia for a problem at the hotel. She said she would talk to her manager and get back to me. Sure, fine. I had to keep following up. Holes in the window curtains, no chair to sit in, no shower curtain, right next to the maintenance room, you hear that all day and night.

    We use LaQuinta for some of our business clients. The last reservation was for 5 rooms. Corporate should be embarassed on how we were treated. My clients were little people and were told they could not check in because the reservations were held in our company name, not individually. We've never had a problem with this before. You simply change the name to the person staying in the room. It's already 100% pd for. Nope, your staff told them that if we didn't change the names thru hotels.com to the correct person, they were going to cxl the rooms. I was not about to cxl and re-reserve at a different rate and possibly lose the rooms so, I had to personally drive there since my name was on the reservation. In the meantime, i was on the phone w/staff to try and fix over the phone and they hung up on me. They said the GM said i needed to email a copy of my license. i did. then they said, he decided that wasn't good enough and if I didn't show up, they were going to cancel 5 rooms When i got there, my clients informed me that they were told to stand outside til this was resolved. When i got there, I asked why there is such an issue, who hung up on me, where is the GM that changed his mind and if they had an issue with Little People being in their hotel. Discrimination is not cool. All of a sudden, 4 clerks were stumbling over themselves to appease us. Your staff obviously did not want my clients there and made it known to all who were in lobby. Absolutely shameful!

    We made a mistake and booked the wrong La Quinta, location. It was a five day reservation. With help of Expedia working with the manager at the hotel, we were promised a refund (by the hotel) if we checked out by noon after the first day. We did. No refund yet!!

    Pool was dirty had to clean ourself elevator was out of order was told all day it would be fixed in an hour was never fixed. Got woken up at 11pm by a guy banging on my door who didnt identify himself saying i wasnt supposed to b in the property then i asked who he was he said security i had to ask for identification then he showed a badge i then went to call front desk from room phone only to find out room phone doesnt work so five min later front desk calls my cell saying sorry security went to wrong room. Minimal hot water

    The room did not have 2 chairs to sit on. Only a desk chair. Clearly there was an area for an additional sitting chair as the table lamp was still there. Also the elevator was not functioning to get to the third level.

    The hotel was filthy. When we arrived to our first room the bathroom had a leak,water was all over the floor. The second room was filthy, with no Internet service, the third and last room was also filthy, had German cockroaches in the room, which I have tried to upload the photo but this app won't allow it. That was the last incident, luckily we didn't have our belongings in the room yet. Not only was the place filthy, they had a lot of drug traffic present on premises, very unsafe.

    The staff were all really friendly. And the complimentary breakfast was good. As for the room, it was so humid that everything was damp and the floor was slick and we had to wear socks because the floor was dirty. It was nice to have a microwave and mini fridge. The pool needed cleaning as well. I know we were there the beginning of February but it was 83 degrees and it would have been nice to take a dip. Everything else was good.
