La piscina está climatizada, el desayuno estaba muy bueno, el parqueo es un poco estrecho pero pudimos estacionar todos los días, lo recomiendo si quieres estar en un lugar muy céntrico sin gastar de más, al cruzar la calle tiene excelentes restaurantes, quizás no es súper lujoso pero está muy limpio. Yo te lo recomendaría.

Great location great staff great area. Convenient to everything mostly everything is about a 20 to 30 minute drive but that should be because of traffic but not too bad very good scenery. Will stay here every time that I am in West Hollywood

On the second day of our vacation we decided to go to Universal Studios, so we brought all of our belongings with us out of the hotel room. The cleaning staff noticed that our luggage was absent from the room so they assumed we weren’t coming back, so they decided to deactivate our key cards and gave us no warning. So after returning from a long hot day we couldn’t enter the room. So we had to carry all of our luggage back downstairs to the front office to try to get our room back. After all of that hassle we finally returned to the room and found all of our food was taken out of the fridge and placed on the stand, because it was left out all day we had to throw it all away because it wasn’t safe to consume! All they offered was a $50 dollar discount off of our stay. It was a terrible experience and we will not be returning!

It was perfect for our family of 5. We stayed in the room with 3 beds and had the breakfast. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was wonderful (waffles, bagels, bacon, eggs, yoghurt, toast, coffee and juice), there was security at the property and parking on site. We felt safe and the location was perfect walking distance to walk of fame, Mel’s drive in dinner and the Hollywood sign viewpoint at ovation. The only thing that let us down was the shower. For 3 nights we didn’t mind and I would still stay again, it’s just not the greatest after a big day exploring.

The staff was wonderful. We arrived early and our room was ready, they checked us right in. Like the security on property. Great location and great cleaning staff.

It was a great place to stay because of the location, the free parking and the full breakfast. The room was nice, with a mini fridge we used. Comfortable bed. Also, we didn’t use it but there is a grocery store across the street. Lovely pool we didn’t use as well. The shower curtain just barely kept the water from the bathroom floor, meaning some did leak out with every shower. Sometimes parking was complicated since lot was full and super tight to make turns, but we managed.

The staff was friendly, location is pretty good as you will be close to most of L.A. attractions. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, not much variety but good enough. It is a good place to stay for its location. The rooms were always cleaned by the staff but we often find small cockroach in the bedroom. As you will stay in Sunset Boulevard, you'll find some homeless in the streets and might be a little bit noisy because of the cars but it feels safe and you will be pretty close to the famous Guitar Center, a supermarket, restaurants and an In N Out burgers pretty close.

The staff was just great. Very kind, helpful people running this place. The room was clean and everything in good working order. There is a grocery store, Wendy's and lots of restaurant options within walking distance. Breakfast was pretty good. They had meat and eggs and cereals, waffles and fruit, bread and pastries and yogurt. Really good options for everyone. Unfortunately, the parking situation which was very hard and stressful for us as we have a van. The spaces are tight and not much room to maneuver a larger vehicle at all. We probably won't stay again due to the parking issue.

However, the room definitely showed signs of wear. The bathroom was especially worn and the toilet was very close to the sink table so that you had to turn to the side. Quite unpleasant.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. Only negative review I have is parking. The spaces are very limited along with it being very narrow and tight. Staff does great to accommodate when parking lot is full though.

This is the first hotel I have given a bad review. We are a pretty easy to please family but this is the worst hotel we have stayed at. The location is in the ghetto, next to a stripclub, and there are homeless right outside of the windows. And the room was terrible. It was dirty, the doors were broken, there was absolutely no parking so they have people park in front of the door to your room. The parking security yelled at is for parking in a handicap spot when it was the only spot left it the tiny little lot. The breakfast was empty every time we went and the lady filling it didnt speak english and told the kids "no breakfast".

The included breakfast and the Manager and Maintenance bloke. They even waved goodbye upon leaving for the airport after checking out of the hotel. A misunderstanding with the housekeeping not attending our room to do their daily tasks. However despite this all team members were very welcoming.

Corey was the highlight of our stay. Great guy who made sure we had a great stay. Also location with free parking was excellent Property was a bit loud. We had a room facing the pool and in the morning we could hear the staff making the tables for breakfast .. we also could hear noise from the traffic and also from the rooms next door..

Not much to be honest. The bed was comfortable that’s probably the only positive Floors in room extremely dirty, I did not want to walk on them barefoot. A group of around 20 people in the pool until at least 9pm being very loud. Not ideal when travelling with children Bathroom not a pleasant experience

The location was great and within walking distance of the walk of fame. There is a grocery store across the road and lots of food options. The pool is heated and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! There was free parking and the staff were very friendly. The room was a tad small (but adequate) and the air conditioner was literally right next to our bed which was a little annoying. The breakfast room was small with not much space to sit, but we enjoyed eating by the pool, so that was nice! Aside from that, it was great.

The room is well equipped and very confortable. The hotel overall is very clean, the staff is kindly and has a rich breakfast. Very well located, almost at the center of Hollywood, near all important turistic landmarks. Too noisily!!! The room sound isolation needs to be improved. We was able to hear all the sounds of the room above, and the hotel has a open gate to the Sunset Blvd, so the sound of sirens, cars, people on the avenue is full heared in the room. Was dificcult to get a resting sleep at night.

Our stay was short but great. Fast, friendly check-in and out. Our room had everything we needed, coffee, fridge, iron, etc. Security at the entrance made me feel safer. Despite our room on the blvd., it was quiet. Will stay here again.

Parking was awful- I had to park in the dominos next store which felt very unsafe. Staff was sleeping behind the desk and forgot to bring us towels.

Gross property, loud and one staff is extremely rude and speaks disrespectful, will not be staying there again. It’s a party hotel on the sunset strip, costs more than it should and shouldn’t be associated with the Best Western brand.

The room was a bit too small for 3 people and there was a pretty bad smell in the room.

I felt like they were very accommodating, especially when we had such an early flight out.

I really liked the staff. When I first checked in the front desk lady was extremely nice and when I checked out the guy was super friendly. A few days into our stay, at around 10-11pm we got a knock on our door from front desk alerting us that our passenger window was rolled down slightly. My boyfriend forgot to roll it back up when we parked and I really appreciated them for letting us know!! They have a night guard who patrols the property for the guests’ safety so that made me feel very comfortable and safe. The reason we booked this hotel was because it was so close to everything on our itinerary, so I didn’t have to drive super far for anything. The bed was super comfy and clean. Bathroom was small but clean as well. The photo I attached is from our last day & we were getting ready to leave. The noise & parking were bad. Man, I know this is a hot topic in the reviews but trust me when I say it’s loud!! To be fair, I was expecting the noise since I read the reviews before booking but when we got our room (which was a room at the very far back corner of the hotel) all day & night we heard cars driving, honking, people talking, motorcycles speeding, all of the above. It was mostly tolerable but there were times when I got annoyed by it. The parking was also an issue for us. It is a very small parking lot and if you get there after 9pm you won’t find any parking or if there is it’s TOO small of a space. That’s how I scratched the side of my car. I have a 2002 Solara and although it isn’t a super small car it’s still a pretty nice size and can fit in most small spaces. But sadly, as I was trying to back into one of the only spots left, I scratched both my side doors & back bumper on the wall since everything was so bunched up together. Thankfully the staff told us we could park on the side of the hotel but just be aware that parking is limited & SMALL. The bathroom shower doesn’t have strong water pressure so if that’s something you don’t like, be aware. The room we got was clean but you can definitely tell it was run down. There were scratches/dents on walls & corners. I know this isn’t important but the paint job on the walls and doors were terrible. It was overall a DECENT stay.

Right opposite a supermarket, bus stop at the front door, heated pool that’s always half in the shade and half in the sun, the breakfast had a good range of options, the staff were so helpful.

Worst hotel I've ever experienced. The room should only have been used for storage. Couldnt use my walker at all. Barely enough room to walk around the bed, or to get into the bathroom. Breakfast was questionable. Bacon & sausage werent cooked long enoughl. I wouldnt chnce either one.

This visit was the 4th time we stayed at this hotel in the past 6 months. We like the location and the services available, such as the breakfast and parking. We paid over $2200 for the duration of our stay. Unfortunately on this occasion we had an issue with 'Housekeeping' failing to securely lock our room door after servicing, leaving our personal belongs susceptible to theft. We were out all day and the room was NOT LOCKED from the time they attended the room! I advised the front desk clerk who contacted the head of housekeeping (Janet) to discuss the matter directly. It became a debate in the reception area. I was made to feel like a fool and I don't think she believed me. Janet could've handled this situation a whole lot better. No apology, just doubt. Why would a make a fuss about such things... We refused housekeeping for the remainder of our stay (a further six days) until check-out. I was not happy the entire time as a result of my concerns being neglected. We are returning again in September (from Australia) and will likely stay elsewhere. I request that the general manager contact me personally.

Breakfast was the highlight ! Good variety (cereals, bread and jams, waffles, eggs, bacon, yoghurt, coffee, tea,bagels ) and always refilled by the staff. Room was very spacious (with fridge and microwave) and all property was always clean. Staff at reception was very friendly and professional. Location is good as 5 minutes walk you can find Ralph's supermarket, laundromat, couple of take away little restaurants and Bossanova Restaurant which is open until 4am in the morning Altough the location is walking distance from Hollywood Boulevard, it is at the edge of an area where you can see homeless and drug addicts. It is a general problem accross the city included in Hollywood. We have never been bothered by anybody adn we have never felt unsafe altough it is sad to see. Good thing is that during the night the hotel organizes a security guard.

Convenient location to Walk of Fame, friendly reception staff, great breakfast with reasonable variety and quantity Keep in mind this is a TWO STAR hotel and it feels like it. Room was not clean — hair all over the floor, dirty bath towels, etc. Virtually zero noise isolation in the room so you can hear the slightest outside noise and the TV of the adjacent room. Some homeless people on the street nearby. Weird smell in the room and corridor. Pool filled with algae.

Free Wi-fi, parking and breakfast included with reservation. Checking in and out is very fast and hotel staff is very helpful if a problem arises. Hotel is centric to touristic areas around Hollywood. TCL Theatre and Walk of fame are only a couple of blocks away, also multiple restaurants are available nearby. Breakfast is very basic (eggs, bacon, coffee), it serves its purpose but nothing more. If you're bringing a large car the parking area may be a little small to maneuver. Wi-fi signal may vary if your room is too far away from their router, on the room my phone randomly disconnected a couple of times.

I liked the location a lot. Sunset West Hotel is within walking distance of the Chinese Theatre, which made getting around easy without needing a car. The walkable area was a big plus. The bed was comfortable and worked well for my three-night stay, and overall it was a convenient and solid place to stay for exploring Hollywood.

In the room we couldn’t open the blind as it was, literally, right by the footpath - maybe half a metre away and people looked in. New guests arrived after midnight and had no consideration and made an enormous noise. The ironing board was broken snd coukdn’t be used and tge traffic noise was terrible all night.

Noisy uncomfortable beds only sheets no blankets and for a double bed at $324 a night was ridiculous for this place

Excellent location, the staff were very helpful and the place was clean. Towels and room cleaning were available upon request, which was convenient. The breakfast had a rather poor selection, but the parking option was a great advantage. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely come back.

Had to book two rooms as we were in three. We liked the location, helpful staff, free parking place. Breakfast is not very variable, but it’s ok.

I fail to understand how this place gets nice reviews. Maybe we were just unlucky, but our room was small, smelly, and very noisy. Breakfast was limited and poor. And the parking... It was crowded and with only one handicapped space, which was taken by a car without a handicapped sign.

very average room quality, pictures no way close to actual, sub standard furniture and quality of bedding / linen. no power points for charging, if there were any, they were not working or broken, no drinking water provision in room. no water provided. no information on water not being portable in property.

Yes the room was stinky and the building is too old. There is no parking inside hotel. Staff were responsive but the infrastructure is not recommended for a stay with family.

Was initially hesitant to book this hotel but glad that I did. The staff Rehman was helpful to get me checked in and provided some local travel and restaurant info which was helpful. I felt safe and the location was good. The rooms are small and the breakfast space as well. Overall good experience.

Location of the hotel was amazing . The only issue I had was I had a room at the ground floor and the staff was making noise late night and our sleep got disturbed . My wife had to go and ask them not to make noise.

The room was very nice for a small select-service level hotel. The fridge and microwave in the room are so appreciated. I was here for 8 days for work and it was great not having to go out for dinner each day. Security guard on duty, helpful front desk, and hardworking housekeepers who clean the room beautifully!

Everything was great except for the smoking areas. Astrays were right outside of rooms smoke would make its was inside the rooms. Otherwise everything was great.

The rooms are very clean and the staff cleaned them every day. We were able to walk to the chinese theatre but it was a lot of uphill, coming back was a breeze!

The rooms are very clean and the staff cleaned them every day. We were able to walk to the chinese theatre but it was a lot of uphill, coming back was a breeze!

The room had plenty of space but the air conditioners were very noisy and the temperature was either extremely cold or turned off and the room was very hot... the bathroom has nowhere to hang the towels near the shower, it did not have many connections to charge usb tickets, and what bothers my family is that the man at the reception kept looking back at the pool at our daughter the teenager and her other sister noticed, until we asked him if he had any In this way, I read the water lens because we had lost something in the pool, he approached and that I approve of making a conversation... I ask him to make a challenge to make ice for someone he hated or had courage and my daughter was surprised... and I was there and asked my daughter to repeat what she said to me since she said it very close and only to her, her sisters also saw that it was strange and she walked away, we thought she wanted to be kind... but then he just looked at her from afar she went to her. Super uncomfortable for all my daughters and for me when my husband arrived he stayed away, so that was seen with bad intentions, in our opinion, and the pool was a little dirty since I repeat you could not see. I know that they have days to clean it but we had bad luck... but seriously we traveled often to LA, and we would like to return to that hotel, I hope that if we find a better place our experience next time, thank you for your great work.It's hard if you're late and few desability space.

Security guards were really kind. Its great to have free parking and breakfast provided daily. Area is centrally located and easy to get around. Room has AC which works very well and pool for hot days. I would definitely stay again. Bed was comfy :)

I stayed at this property bc we could walk to the Hollywood stars and Chinese Theater. It was about a 15 minute walk.The hotel was very clean and spacious. Parking was not easy and the spaces were quite small. Staff was very nice. A larger SUV would have a very hard time parking. Property wasn't in the best part of town but we felt fine during the day. Wouldn't venture out in evenings. Grocery store across the street if need to get anything.

I let it run for almost 15 minutes and still no hot water or warm water. The front desk said leave it for 10 minutes tonwarm up.I had to shower in really cold water because I had to go straight to the airport. It ruined my day jist as I started it. It sucked.

The hotel is very well located and close to walk of fame in Hollywood. Breakfast is amazing and more than you expect for a continental one. Juani and Claudia are just adorable!! Hotel is very clean, the pool is clean and with comfortable ambience. They could do better with a small cafeteria x nights, early check in as 3pm is just NOT FAIR!

The property had no security and had homeless people sleeping all around there parking lot which made it feel very unsafe walking to your vehicle or let alone having your kids go down with out you.

Stayed Friday and Saturday. Friday was a little noisy outside, Saturday was much quieter. Hotel was great stay with a great location to everything I needed. Staff was great too. Nice hot breakfast. I had waffles and sausage one day, waffles and bacon the next.

You get what you pay for. The free breakfast and parking was great. However, our sheets were dirty on multiple occasions. The first day they were changed they were replaced with sheets that had melted wax and dirt on them. On another day our sheets had an old sucker stick stuck to the inside of them. The night stand in between the beds had some suspicious looking brown liquid oozing out underneath it. I mean the building is located in the heart of Hollywood, so we weren’t surprised with the quality of things.

Room 123 specifically has mold growing in the wall and the entire room smelled the entire night. Their hotel was full. We could not get another room. Not good parking spaces for the amount of rooms they have either. Somewhat disappointing because of the room. I hope it’s not because it is booked with hotels.com.

I was staying at the hotel for a weekend concert at Hollywood bowl. I found the location to be great for that allowing us to walk to the concert. Found plenty of restaurants within walking distance that were pretty good. The room is functional and clean. The hotel is close to Ralph’s. I felt that it’s a convenient location for my purpose.

The location of the property is good but the area around it is trash. Not really the hotels fault. Also several times during our stay we observed unhoused people on the property who were quickly escorted off by staff. Which I am sure is a problem for many hotels in this area. Rooms are clean but furnishings are run down. Bed was comfortable but they give u a sheet and a thin comforter. No blankets.

Very limited parking and area seemed unsafe management wanted me to park in a alleyway. Yer they are not responsible for damage or theft probably not booking here again

Be under no illusions, Hollywood id full of homeless people, emmotionally disturbed people and people who are either over or under medicated, its not the utopia one is led to believe. That being said, Sunset hotel is right in the middle of it, walking distance to the places you want to see someone urinate outside of and within short taxi/car rides to everywhere else.

Clean, close to Universal studio and afortable. Make your own waffles breakfast was a highlight for my kids.

It could just be me, but as a person coming from San Francisco, the area around the hotel was a bit dirty and noisy. It feels like it is more of LA thing rather than the hotel’s fault. Its clean, and nice does have a breakfast in the morning.

This property does not offer proper parking. Parking is VERY limited. You’ll be lucky to find a parking spot on the property. Additionally, the property does not have an elevator, so getting two the second floor with luggage and kids is very difficult. The room also smelled terribly bad. We couldn’t even spend a night there, we decided to leave and find a different hotel.

Pool was to be heated but was told when we checked in that the heater was broken. Never was fixed while we were there.

The motel is overall in good shape, the rooms are very standard, but feel run down. The toilet is jammed in-between the wall and the sink, I am not a big guy but I barley fit. The windows are old and the noise comes right through, could not sleep at all. I chose to leave a day early rather than stay.

We got there before check in time and our room was ready. Check in was quick, room was clean, and big(it was a family room). The room had 2 queen beds and another bed in separate room. We had a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was more than just a continental breakfast it had hot items, fruit, bagels, rolls, cereal, waffles, and more.

Came out here to watch a concert with friends , hotel staff was very understanding & helpful . Extremely grateful for an amazing stay !

Surprisingly nice basic hotel at a very affordable price. Clean rooms, good breakfast, pool and convenient location.

Staff was friendly and breakfast was good (eggs, waffles, coffee, juice). Some packaged danishes, bacon or sausage (one of these per day), toast, bagels, one type of yogurt. Also oranges or apples (first day also bananas but they were ready to be made into bread). There is a security guard. The area around the hotel is run down, I didn’t go out after dark. Bossa Nova across the street has great food options and delivers for a few. The room itself was remodeled but had peeling wallpaper. Room was clean. Pool was outdoors, large and went to 9 feet deep. I probably would try another hotel next time given it is noisy, a bit run down and the location didn’t feel safe.

House keeping does a great job. Very convenient right on west hollywood blvd. Easy to get to everything. Nice and stylish room. Shower is hot with great water pressure. Just a tad noisy. Room doesnt do a good job of blocking out sound, can hear neighbors and outside traffic.

We were evacuated on Tuesday night (7th Jan) by hotel staff, not authorities, and basically kicked to the kerb. Being foreigners we had no transport, no alternative friends or knowledge of the area and zero guidance on where to go for safety from this hotel… very very poor. They’ve made no contact since regarding reimbursing our last 3 nights prepaid for in advance. Go elsewhere.

Great location, neighborhood is a bit rough but it's close to all the amenities and USH, friendly staff. 24H security is a plus, Breakfast is decent (they switched up the eggs and protein the 4 days we were there) although the breakfast room was a bit small. The rooms are updated, pool and the surroundings are kept very clean. The one concern is parking, parking is limited and the spots are tight. There are surprisingly a lot of large vehicles when we were there. So getting in and out of your spot requires skill and patience if you have a larger vehicle. 9/10, would book again for the next trip!

Near by is Ralphs grocery, Domino's pizza, In out Burger and Mexican. Not fancy or modern but a decent little spot if you want a good deal. A bit of noise from the Sunset Strip but it never bothered us.

Near many attractions and walk of fame. Great locations.

New flooring thorougout the room and a really nice stone floored shower. The cleanliness of the room was top notch and the staff were all polite, courteous and friendly. Great breakfast served from 7-10am with multiple differnt things to eat.

My family and I traveled from out of state to attend Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios for 2 of my kids birthdays. We were less than impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the room upon arrival as we found the AC unit in the “main bed” portion (we had a family room) didn’t work, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and what I can only describe as the last stayers blood smeared over the walls. After dropping off our things and going to Universal (until 1:30 am) we came back only to be told by Hotel security that there was no more parking and we’d have to park down the street 1/2 block away. Active drug deals were happening and we were in a vehicle with out of state plates. This is not a place for anyone, let alone a family to park. We left asap and luckily had family to stay with 2 hours north. The hotel refused to refund or even partially refund a $400 nights stay. This place is a literal nightmare!

Although outside the hotel there was lots of rubbish on the street, the hotel itself was really clean. The staff did an amazing job of keeping unwanted ‘visitors’ from entering the property and disturbing guests. We felt really safe and well cared for. The rooms were lovely - very spacious and clean! Highlights were: breakfast, the pool (our kids LOVED the pool), walking distance to lots of food options and Hollywood Blvd, and the friendly staff.

We travel very often and I never put reviews. But people need to know not to book here. For starters upon entering room it was hot. I turned air all the way down and room never cooled off. Room was dirty. On the floor found a ball of unusual hair. Not enough pillows for 6 people booked in room. There was a strange man hanging around the pool and he told us he has been staying there months. The shower was cold water and never warmed up. No coffee cups in room to make coffee. We didn’t check out breakfast and left asap to next destination. I paid $473 for one night and feel ripped off. Makes me question doing any more business with Expedia. Also, our main reason to stay was to walk to walk of fame that was pretty close. At 5pm in broad day light we were not comfortable walking due to the people on the streets. Seemed mostly homeless. We had no idea this area was so bad. My advice is to avoid it. We wasted a day of our trip in a horrible room in a not safe feeling place or area. We even drove by walk of fame at 7am and the homeless people on the side walk was unbelievable. Didn’t feel safe to get out.
