Lovely interiors and attention to detail. Bed was nice and comfy and hotel is in a great location Staff were largely friendly although we were put into the wrong room on our first night and then were asked if we wanted to move rooms late at night which we did not want to do. Staff member working was fine with this but we felt uncomfortable as we had been followed to our room to be told this and also told the guest had entered our room when we were not there.

Wonderful place to stay half a block from boys town in West Hollywood. Quaint, well appointed, cozy rooms, always welcome us when we stay. The 2nd floor sitting area with patio, coffee, tea juices and bakery items In theam, and wine in the pm is so great. Mini rooftop a 24 hour retreat to sit and overlook the hills. Staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. It’s a small boutique place with warm relaxed service.

The staff were kind, the room was clean and the location is convenient. The facilities are clearly in need of refurbishment. While the location is convenient and close to several points of interest, the area can feel a bit dodgy at night. The breakfast offering is very limited and below expectations.

I love everything about this hotel—the spacious rooms, the wonderful beds, the breakfast, and most of all, the warm feeling of being at home away from home! It was our third time here and we will certainly be back. There is nothing that I didn't like

Loved everything about this hotel! Loved the aesthetic, the room and the amenities! The room was super clean and cozy. The breakfast was so good and even better that it was included. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were super helpful! Can’t wait to return!! N/A

I really liked this hotel. I loved the staff I loved the 2nd floor lounge great area to get coffee or wine in the evening. The beds are comfy good pillows too. You pull in they unload your car then go park it for you. I liked that a lot. They allow dogs. The hotel is very cute and as a woman I felt very safe there.

While the room was in good condition, the amenities were not regularly refilled (toiletries, breakfast), and the staff had limited knowledge and were not very welcoming.

I had an entire day without hot water. It was quite a terrible shower. Since it was Sunday, there was no engineer to address this. By Monday morning, it was somehow back in operation.

This is such a unique place. All the furnishings are one of a kind- not like chain hotels. Every little nuance of your stay is made so nice- from the welcome note to the marvelous continental breakfast with a fancy coffeemaker. We especially want to commend the front desk clerk, Winston who made us feel so welcome after a too long day traveling.

Excellent customer service. The entire property was clean and well taken care of. Stayed in the grand room and it was a great size with balcony and very nice furnishings. I will stay here again on my next visit.

The most beautiful little hotel, stunning interiors, perhaps the best bathroom ever seen! Had a really comfortable and easy stay here, in a great location. The only very slight thing was breakfast was a little disappointing. Would have just loved some more choice of fresh fruit other than an orange, an apple or a banana.

A problem with the billing details was made by the staff. The request to fix it, including by email - didn't get any answer.

The Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, every little thing was on the right spot and tasteful, even the pillows or the neat bathroom. The breakfast was really good for American standards. I would definitely come back

You could drive past this California bungalow fronted building without thinking there was a lovely little boutique hotel that extends out the back and up for 4 floors. The proprietor and the front desk were lovely and accommodating people. A simple but excellent continental breakfast with some of the best croissants I've ever had on the west coast of the USA. Finally through the rooftop area with seating and drinks for sundown is a real seller. I could not have been happier with my stay in LA. Nothing

A great small hotel with lots of atmosphere. Lovely room, super comfortable bed and lovely linens. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Location in West Hollywood is good - plenty of restaurants & bars around but not too noisy despite being next to the fire station! Breakfast simple but excellent pastries from a local bakery. Complimentary wine from 5 to 7 was a nice bonus! Shower could be a little more powerful

Somethings were a bit old. A couple sockets in the room did not work. And they only Valet as there’s no onsite parking. That was a bit expensive, but other than that it was great stay.

The hotel is so cozy and the rooms are not too small. The personnel were super nice and loved the breakfast room. Also the automatic espresso machine!! The only flaw I would say is the room lighting is very dark and not able to adjust it higher than a certain point

This place is adorable. Stayed in the petite duplex and it was so charming. Loved the free wine + patio and the local pastries in the morning were delicious! Highly recommend.

I came across this cute Bed & Breakfast and decided to splurge on a room for my husband birthday. We were pleasantly surprised by the property. It gives all the good feels. The staff adds to the unique atmosphere. Love the toiletries and mini bar! Fireplace was perfect for the rainy weather. I also loved the turn down service while we were out for the evening. It's the little touches that separates cute bed & breakfasts from boutique hotels. We will return anytime in West Hollywood ❤️

While the decor, robes, slippers, Nespresso machine, free snacks and a variety of continental breakfast options were a plus, the front desk needs to have a more positive attitude and be friendlier. The hotel would definitely benefit from having a pool. The worst part was the construction next door, so I’d avoid this hotel until that’s complete.

Check in was fine except Room 27 is two floors and the top floor was 80 degrees and bottom floor was 60. AC was unable to cool the top floor. Suggest they note that when renting it or not rent it.

Really nice boutique hotel with great style and amenities. Rooftop happy hour was a nice touch as was the complimentary continental breakfast (which was far superior to the typical continental breakfast.) Virginia took the time to chat with us and left a nice note wishing us a happy stay. The housekeeping staff was so kind and hardworking.

Beautiful and unnassuming property nestled in the heart of one of the best and most energetic areas in the city. Steps from Santa Monica and The Sunset Strip in either direction, but it manages to feel like a quiet escape.

We stayed for one night for our anniversary and really enjoyed our stay there. The room was comfortable and clean, and there was a nice continental breakfast. Highly recommended!

The downside was the staff- they were cold and unwelcoming. The reception barely greeted us upon arrival and gave us no information about the hotel or area.

Brilliant hotel. Great room. Cool facilities. The only downside is the rooftop was not set up when we were there.

Hotel SVB is absolutely the best place to stay in LA. Amazing rooms, for a great price, valet car service, tons of nightlife, and so much attention to detail. The room came with so many amazing things- yoga mat, iron and full-size board, sewing kit, lotions and soaps, hair dryer and attachments (!), plus a WICKED wet bar with tons of awesome options. I will NEVER stay anywhere else!

I typically don't stay at boutique hotels because of the price and sometimes location, but this hotel is located in the right location for me and suited my needs for the few days I stayed. The continental breakfast was very delicious. Unfortunately, some of the ammenties (honour bar) were not available during my stay. However, reception did offer a glass of wine in lieu of the honour bar.

This Hotel is really special and absolutely exquisite. The decorations in the room are fantastic, staff were outstanding and the details that are hidden in every corner, are full of thought and consideration for the guest. The area was amazing and so central. By far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed In, it wowed us completely.

One of my favorite hotels in the country. You won't be surrounded by tourists and partiers. Service is impeccable, and it should be a Conde Naste' Best of LA. it's a hidden gem, for the right person/couple on business or holiday. 5/5 stars. We used to only stay at L'ermitage. Now, nothing but the 850.

Very last-minute staycation for one night was an absolute delight. A gem in the middle of bustling Los Angeles. Service was above and beyond, especially Jovi who was on the front desk upon our arrival. Already looking forward to staying again

Simply darling boutique hotel close to Beverly Hills etc. comfortable beds and perfect bathroom with amenities. Also, a charming breakfast room with a very nice continental breakfast. The entire staff at the hotel was simply the best, from the front desk to the kitchen staff. Highly recommend!

The continental breakfast is stunning and simple. Delicious croissant (chocolate too), fresh blueberry muffins and other yummies accompanied by a super fancy self serve cappuccino/ latte machine. The thought of everything, even bikes to use (though the key is currently lost). Highly recommend this little gem.

I travel a lot, and I like comfort. This hotel is cozy and quaint and has no hint of that "hotel" feel. The environment feels like what I see in 1930's movies, but updated and clean. The room was luxurious, the bedding was amazing, and had extras were impressive (the room was stocked with goodies and a great selection of quality alcohol and beverages). I was really impressed and wanted to stay longer! I will definitely be back.

Lovely! Wish I was in town for more than one night. The most comfortable hotel bed I've spent in in a very long time, loved and appreciated the complimentary snacks and fresh cold water, everything was impeccably clean and comfortable, I loved opening the big doors to let the fresh air in, and it was easy to walk to dinner and drinks. Perfect stay!

He went out of his way to solve my little water issue, Thanks to Mashda the manager as well.

Our stay was amazing!!!!! Everything was perfect, the stuff really does everything to make your stay perfect. The room is a bit small, but the decor and details are absolutely beautiful! The first round of snacks was free which was nice , and they give a big variety of bath accessories more than other hotels. I recommend everyone to book with them, it’s very cozy boutique hotel ❤️

The hotel is a very cozy place but with fantastic service and beautiful decor. The staff, from front desk to the ladies cleaning the rooms, were all very kind and super helpful. The rooms are decorated in a fresh style that is contemporary but seems unique and chic. My room had a small private terrace on the first floor. The hotel very cleverly arranged tons of greenery and a small table and chairs to make the space really welcoming and hide any next door neighbors from peeking in. Really smart. I also used the common areas to get a little work done and it was very relaxed and enjoyable. I will definitely come back to the hotel the next time I visit Los Angeles. Especially since it’s so close to some of the most delicious restaurants and fun shopping in the city.
