Reviews
The hotel is praised for its prime location near the National Mall, the Wharf, and other attractions, as well as its cleanliness and friendly staff. However, some guests have complained about the high cost of parking and breakfast, as well as issues with the WiFi and Chromecast.

Location, convenient to eating establishments and metro. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We requested for room cleanup on 2 of 5 days we were there and it didn't happen. No fresh towels for entire stay. We saw housekeepers working our hallway but we were skipped.

I love the luxury feeling of the hotel. It was very nice and very clean. I believe the valet parking and parking price is expensive and a little inconvenient.

Perfect location for our Washington DC trip. Pool was open but not heated so too cold for Adults but Kid’s had a great time. Room was nice, but we had issues with AC the entire time where it was either off or blowing super cold air. It was manageable and better than being hot but still was an issue for us. Outside of that we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

First time staying at this property; however, I am a long-time Hilton member. Only issue: need to correct the address on the confirmation email; I had to circle the building 4 times before we called the property, and they gave us the correct building number...Outside of that, a great stay...
- 5/5
The only issue we had was that the temperature was cold inside the hotel and in the room. My aunt was informed that there was a boiler issue. The front desk told us that it was a spring setting where the thermostat could not be adjusted. They provided extra blankets but it was a little uncomfortable especially being that it was cool and rainy outside. We left with a little cold

The staff was helpful and friendly. The entire property was spotless. And the location was ideal, in the heart of everything and near easy metro commutes.

THE HOTEL IS LOCATION IS GREAT, IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN. BREAKSFAST TOO EXPENSIVE IT IS NOT WORTHY THAT MOUCH, THE SHOWER PRESSURE WAS TERRIBLE THEY NEED TO CHECK THAT, I TOOK A SHOWER AT NIGHT AND WE WERE RUNNING OUT OF HOT WATER.
- 2/5
The reception staff were great. Excellent location and updated rooms. The bad - while eating breakfast I felt something odd in my mouth which turned out to be an inch long piece of twisted metal form a scraping pad. I showed it to restaurant staff and they took the plate away and never talked to me again.

Do NOT buy anything in the hotel convenience store! Such a rip off charging $12 for a 6oz bag of popcorn. Learn my Lesson to always ask price before purchasing. Tried to return bag but they refused.

Couldn't use the pool even though it didn't rain
- 3/5
I went to DC on a cold weekend in May. However, the hotel turned off the boiler so there was no hot air from the vent and it was very cold in the room (below 68).
- 2/5
This is the second time we had stayed at this hotel. Unfortunately this time was not nearly as pleasant. The thermostat did not work on a very chilly May week. We were told the heT was off and we could get extra blankets. We had to move two rooms due to broken features (sink, hot water faucet).
- 4.5/5
Big room for 4 people, nice location, comfortable beds, responsive front desk. Some drawers didn't open, and there was a strange glass panel in the bathroom to the room. When light is on in the bathroom, it lights up the room.
- 4.5/5
The staff members were great! In spite of the nearby air traffic, the room was quiet. The bathroom and shower were lovely. The breakfast was fabulous, and the serving staff for that dining room was wonderful. We had very good selections provided in the breakfast buffet. Having the option of a made-to-order omelet was awesome. We found it very convenient having the metro so close at hand, as well as having the various wharf restaurants nearby in walking distance. I loved having purified water available near the ice machine, with an in-room refillable bottle provided. Your bellman Chris was so sweet and took good care of our luggage until our room was ready. The housekeeper for our room was very helpful if we needed anything done or refurbished in the room. Having only one restroom on the main floor, and it being far away from the bar and the reception desk, was less than optimum. Having the foodcourt in the public shopping area below the hotel was nice, but many of the food shops closed for the day in mid afternoon. The Hilton didn't have a coffee shop, or cafe open in the hotel throughout the day and into the evening. The hotel Starbucks was periodically closed ... often when we wanted coffee or snacks. There were times when we had to wait for the limited food service to be available in the bar. The little kiosk room for snacks near the reception was not impressive in its supply and in the selections offered. The bed mattress' comfort was average. I didn't like the overstuffed pillows on our bed. Hilton often has pillows of different lofts on the bed, so that a good fit can be selected ... but all 4 pillows in our room were too firm and high. The lounge chair and hassock in our room was rock hard to sit on. Sadly the pool was closed for repair or whatever.

The location, it was close proximity to everything downtown. The shower and the location of the parking garage to the hotel, there weren’t too many signs to direct us and we got lost on our way to the parking garage.

The hotel was clean, rooms and beds were very comfortable. The A/C in our room wasn’t working properly, but was fixed within 30 minutes once we notified the front desk. Check in/out was fast and easy, and valet service was fast and easy as well. Overall, we had a great stay!

I liked continental breakfast. There was a large selection including bagels, salmon, and cream cheese. There are fast food restaurants in the basement area. The hotel is near to the wharf in one direction and near to National Mall in other direction. We walked to see cherry blossoms in Tidal Basin. For walking the neighborhood around the hotel was clean and pleasant and felt safe. I didn't like the shower in our room. Water pressure was too low, but we managed.

Staff are super nice. It’s very clean. The double king beds for sure help to rest great for family. Excellent option. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the location in the cleanliness. It was top-notch the one thing I did not like there was not stair access. It was elevator only.

We loved our stay!! The location was perfect for walking to all the main spots we wanted to see in DC. The room was spacious and the beds cozy. The staff at the hotel were always kind and courteous and helped to meet our every need. It was a great stay!
- 4/5
No complaints would recommend to friends.
- 2/5
The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and in a great location near the National Mall. The rooms were nice, and the overall experience inside the hotel met expectations. However, finding the entrance—especially the valet—was extremely frustrating. It took us seven attempts just to figure out how to get to the valet area. The entrance is poorly marked and feels completely hidden, which is not what you expect after a long drive into the city. This alone created a very stressful arrival experience. On top of that, the valet parking cost is outrageous—around $65 per day. For guests already paying to stay at the hotel, this feels excessive and honestly unreasonable. It comes across as a cash grab rather than a service. In short: nice hotel, but the arrival process and parking situation need serious improvement.
- 5/5
We didnt use any of the amenities but the location was conveniently located near all the museums.
- 5/5
Great location. Great staff. Great hotel.
- 5/5
Nice hotel second time there close to everything’s
- 4/5
The room was nice and spacious. Rooms were cleaned and restocked each day. I loved the central location with so many great things in walking distance. It was a quick walk to The Wharf for dinner options and a quick walk to many tourist spots. There is also a stop for the hop on, hop off bus right near the hotel
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff. Metro runs underneath the hotel which was not clearly posted in hotel lobby.
- 5/5
Beautiful location, fantastic restaurant, excellent food, comfy bed
- 3/5
Location Could not watch TV the entire time due to glitchy Internet. Barely had hot water, and the ice machine didn’t work.
- 2/5
I did not get the room. I had booked six months in advance. The hotel was overbooked needed to neither did the people checking in alongside of me. I was told the room they booked me in wasn’t upgrade with the city view versus the room. I actually booked with two king beds and a Deluxe pool view the upgrade they booked me in had a one king bed with a city view. However, the city view was nothing but views of rooftops with rusted air conditioners.
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 4/5
It was way too expensive for the meager selection offered/provided!
- 3/5
The room was clean with the exception of the floors, which would leave your feet pretty covered in dust. I do feel like the housekeeper tried their best. The deluxe rooms were very basic and I still don’t understand what the upgrade was that we paid for was. There is absolutely no room service in the hotel. I was quite surprised by that. The breakfast buffet was overpriced, but had the basics. The advertisement for the hotel gave me the impression that it was on the water, but it absolutely is not. You have to cross a highway to get to the water. Additionally they advertise a food court below the hotel, but don’t be fooled, it is reminiscent of something from the USSR, stark and depressing. If you think 1990s Holiday Inn, you will get the overall feel for this hotel. Surprising for a Hilton, but priced as such, I suppose.
- 4/5
Location was ideal for seeing DC mall, wharf and navy yard

Super convenient location near metro. Shared building…only floors 11-15 are Hiltons. We were super far from the elevator. The ac/ heater didn’t work.
- 4/5
Staff members were professional, accommodating and very friendly.
- 4/5
Also feel like there are more easily accessible hotels out there for people with kids. Overall good experience, beautiful place, but not the best. May go back if there's a good deal on cost.
- 5/5
Park in the Hilton parking garage - cheapest rates around for parking.
- 3/5
Room and property was clean. Staff was friendly. Would not recommend the restaurant as the food was sub par, especially for the price. TV was glitchy and the AC didn't work well.
- 5/5
Great hotel in an excellent location for tourists of the city. Walkable to many things in DC, the national mall, the capital, library of congress, monuments, the wharf, the spy museum and Smithsonians. Great place for families as they have rooms with two king beds (hard to find at most hotels) and they even had nightstands on BOTH sides of the beds (another rare find). The Starbucks in the lobby was a nice convenience as was the food court in L’Enfant plaza. Our only complaints are that our tv reception was pretty bad in the evenings especially and the service and price/quality of the food at the onsite restaurant left a lot to be desired. Would still recommend for location alone
- 1/5

Location is great! Two king size beds too. However, our sink right handle (cold water) was broken.

Yes, friendly, helpful staff, clean room and the food was also veey good. The gym was well equipped. This hotel is in a great location as well. I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

Clean comfortable room Bar not open til after 3 on a Saturday. Bar staff was just ok. Breakfast was boring for a $30/pp buffet.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms and hotel in general. Great location! I would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting DC.
- 5/5
The bar has very good food and drinks. The bartenders were talkative and engaging with their customers. This hotel is in a great location for walking to the Tidal Basin, the museums, and the wharf. I would definitely stay in the Hilton Washington DC
- 4/5
Very helpful staff, clean hotel, great location. We slept great. Would be nice if they had more available bag carts. No microwaves in the rooms can make to-go food tough though there is the one lobby microwave. Food options are ok, most are pricey. The lobby restaurant should make sure families know there is a kids menu at the bar and grille as it’s not on the main menu.
- 5/5
Great location to area attractions. Starbucks located in the lobby was continent. Clean and comfortable rooms.
- 5/5
Did not eat breakfast in their restaurant but the bar was great.
- 4/5
Location Air conditioning in room
- 5/5
Perfect location and nice rooms
- 5/5
Good sized room (2 kings) and nice view of momument and capitol. Easy access to Metro and food court of L'enfant plaza. Also walkable to National Mall. Only complaint is that not much tv options for kids. Otherwise great hotel. Staff was polite and helpful. Hot breakfast downstairs in restaurant is a bit pricey ($30 per adult).
- 5/5
Everyting was grape
- 4/5
For families it would be nice to have a mid price food option that’s open 8-8. The restaurant does not work for families with young children. One elevator was out of service during the majority of the stay making for long wait times
- 3.5/5
The tv in the room was not working well at night. Something wrong with the internet or streaming. Hotel staff said they were having issues with the provider. Between the hours of 7-10 pm you could barely watch cable tv because it kept skipping and blacking out. Also Parking in DC in general very expensive.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful
- 5/5
Food was so so
- 5/5
The hotel was great. The room was very modern and clean. The hotel bottom floor has several restaurants and shops that is very convenient. The shower has glass doors instead of a shower curtain which was nice. The roomheater was a bit difficult to use but it wasn’t needed. The tv has a feature allowing you to cast to it from your phone, which was nice. I was contacted several times by the hotel staff to ensure I was happy with the room, and we were. The hotel is very convenient to several monuments and things to do in DC. I highly recommend this hotel.

Close to the National Mall. Like how there was a metro station very close. Very close to the wharf area where there was some pretty good restaurants.
- 5/5
Great service and location. At my conference in the hotel, the WiFi was not connecting.
- 5/5
Some of the friendliest staff at check-in that we have had at any hotel in ages! Breakfast was very good, for a hotel breakfast, and again, floor staff was welcoming and attentive. Kudos!

The service at reception was among the best I've ever received. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a young woman named Ana Victoria, and upon departure, I was seen off and helped with a breakfast mix-up by an Asian young man. Both were very attentive. The room was very clean and everything was in order. Without a doubt, don't hesitate; this is the best hotel in DC.

Beautiful hotel with a full Starbucks and bar. Walking distance to the wharf. Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfy beds and pillows. Valet parking. I also loved being able to text for extra towels, etc. as opposed to calling. Good price for the room. Highly recommended! The only thing I wish they had was a shuttle.

Stay was pleasant until the last day; we went to go to bed and I noticed my blanket we brought with us was gone. I called the front desk and they took my information. I cried myself to sleep over it; we have since flown home and I have called a few times a day and still no blanket. I keep getting the same answer that housekeeping will call me and no one has. I know they picked it up with the bedding because when I left the room it was in the bed. I know it’s my fault for leaving it in the bed but everyday before they just folded them and left it on the bed. We are heartbroken over it being gone. I am still praying someone sees this and reaches out to me soon. 😭

Very nice hotel, room and staff. It’s also connected to a metro that’ll take you to most places in DC. Everything else, use an Uber. Hotel food is highly expensive, but that’s DC as a whole. I do like that they have a full service Starbucks, it comes in handy for breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

Food at the restaurant downstairs was not good. I would’ve expected for the price in the place we were staying that it would’ve been better. I don’t know how you mess up kids chicken tenders, but they were horrible.

It is a 15 minute walk to the Mall/Smithsonian. A 2 minute walk to the Spy museum. There is a food court and some restaurants across the driveway and down an escalator. The Warf has some great food places too and it is about a 10 minute walk but you have to go down/up quite a few stairs. Very convenient location.

The navigation and signage for the hotel was terrible. The hotel valet parking is on the Main Street level, but our GPS took us to the parking garage underneath. The next set of directions took us to the entrance of the Lafayette Plaza, but we saw no signs for how to get to their front door. We finally had to call and thankfully the sent someone down to the parking garage to help us. Aside from that, super convenient to the metro, Smithsonian’s, Spy Museum and the Wharf. We plan to stay here again if we need an overnight in DC. Also helpful that you can drop off your car before checking and leave it until 4 the day you checkout.

Annissa (staff) was the reason that this vacation was amazing. Caring, compassionate, and had ultimate hospitality and professional experience. She deserves a raise, and a promotion. There is a blk American girl that needs training on customer service and hospitality. She put me in a room that had spiders and had strangers trying to enter my room 3 times. The food was not even mid at the hotel. Just go out and eat. Salmon on sweet potato puree? Annisa is the only reason. I would come back and possibly leave her a huge tip. There is no room service, so you have to go to lobby to place an order. Bartender was arrogant. I guess because I didn’t want to eat at the bar/restaurant. I loved the new room I was transferred to. I got to see the nightly displays shown on the monument. What a delight. I highly recommend. Just stay away from room 14-114-118. Trust me. Ask for a different room. Other than that, very lovely experience.

Great hotel. Clean room, friendly staff, and the location was great.
- 1/5
Everything was amazing minus the fact that the down comforter on the bed had blood stain on it which means it hasn’t been changed in a while because it was very dry. That was very disgusting & we took it off the bed. In this day & age everything should be taken off a bed after each guest visit.
- 5/5
Great location. Just a 5 minute walk and your at the wharf or a museum. Everything was clean and nice.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean with a perfect view of the washing monument. We could see all of the fireworks around the city. The staff was amazing. I’d definitely book here again!
- 2/5
Everything was great until I tried to take a shower in the morning and there was absolutely no hot water. Not even warm.
- 3/5
The room was wonderful. The valet and breakfast service was not. Our valet took 40 minutes and that was only after we had to request our car in person. The breakfast staff rushed our check after only 10 min and we had to track down waiters for coffee refills
- 1/5
Rotten salad, understaffed, and lukewarm showers
- 5/5
Our room was very clean and the bathroom. Check in was easy and the staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel were nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean, convenient location
- 1/5
Interior Doors (including guest rooms): Max 5 pounds of force to open. There is so little water pressure in the shower that the handheld showerhead is almost entirely nonfunctional. I had to request tolietries because the "complimentary" ones in the shower were out of reach. Even the walls in the bathroom above the sink were all chipped and scraped--extremely shabby. And for some mysterious reason, housekeeping kept putting the towels and water out of reach. Even the restaurant in the lobby is magnificently awful: sure, pay $16 plus for an autumn salad that was canned fried onions, sweet potato "flakes", and iceberg lettuce. What silliness! Avoid this hotel. PS A useless breakfast coupon is absolutely meaningless as a "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience." PPS My brother sent flowers to my room--they were "delivered" but they never ever arrived to my room. I wonder what happened to this bouquet? IRONY ALERT: NPR just published: 35 years after ADA, people with disabilities still find hotels unaccommodating.

Great hotel very welcoming staff
- 5/5
Very clean. Friendly staff
- 5/5
Good place to be! If you do uber for all the trip or rent a car everything is just less than 10 min from this location. We love it. I travel with kids and was amazing. The personal in front desk was good but they need to be more enthusiastic and smile more but overall very nice and they make their job good. The one that make my check out was the best one he give us the best smile and we feel very good. Thanks I recommend this hotel 100%
- 5/5
Overall good experience, friendly staff and great location. Only con was ice machine on our floor was broken.
- 4/5
Staff were nice, rooms were clean, restaurant food/service good albeit overpriced as most are. Only complaint is the location-while proximity to subway a definite plus, property is in a somewhat desolate/dated corporate area that is fairly shuttered after 6 aside from the Wharf (10-15 min walk). Reasonable property but not the best option if you want a more lively or vibrant neighbourhood feel.
- 5/5
Great stay. Plan to return soon.
- 2/5
Breakfast was not included and you have to pay separately,,, upon arrival sink faucet was broken, but they came quickly and fix it, room was clean and like a luxury room!

Mikayla at front desk was warm & kind

I visited D.C for the first time 3 years ago and stayed at this hotel . I remember it being so nice and the service was great. However, when visiting again for my sister’s birthday weekend 3 years later it was truly distasteful and disgusting. The staff decided to upgrade our stay after acknowledging her birthday which was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. The staff didn’t stop there, they went further to add in a complementary drink at the bar AND FREE complementary breakfast. We enjoy our night but unfortunately the next morning was far from enjoyable. We go downstairs for the free complimentary breakfast and even stopped at the front desk to ask where breakfast was being served. The breakfast staff watched us all throughout the kitchen until we were finished and once we started looking for seating ,two of the male staff said asked “did you get breakfast included in your stay”.Which was immediately off putting because why are you questioning us when you didn’t question the other guest. So the staff member then goes further to ask “what’s your room number”I let him know but again WHY when you didn’t question the other guests. The breakfast staff then went to print out our reservation I would assume and go question the front desk on whether that was factual . Donald at the front desk acknowledged we did and apologized .We didn’t eat after that of course . Clear racial discrimination. A Hilton hotel will never see my money again.

Stayed at this property to see a concert at The Anthem. Very convenient and safe
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, staff were lovely, and the location was absolutely perfect!

The young ladies at the front desk were wonderful. They were so concerned and helpful when i lost my phone. I felt like they were very caring granddaughters who were looking out for me. The gentleman at luggage check went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. My trip would’ve been so much less without their help.
- 4/5
The room temperature was a bit cold even thermo was turned at max, but was fixed swiftly upon our report. The water temperature was low when using shower around 7:00 pm even set up max
- 4/5
Nothing stood out but good on all counts. Room was nice size, clean enough, good location and check in was easy.

Very nice place to stay. Great location
- 5/5
Easy to access the Metro to go to Pentagon City and Tysons for great shopping malls. Room was beautifully clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
The location is perfect. It's a short walk to the National Mall and museums. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Dennis at the restaurant was great as well as the other restaurant staff.
- 2/5
I found the rooms grim, in part but not only because of the blue light that only goes off if you do t use the master light. It all felt somewhat tacky, but the front desk staff were superb, the bed reasonably comfortable and the WiFi worked.
- 3/5
Staff was great, hotel was in a great location, Starbucks in the lobby for early flights out. Only complaint was the bed was very uncomfortable.
- 3/5
Clean and convenient but there were not many food options or convenient stores in the area. Hotel food options were minimal and pricey
- 5/5
Location is good - all sights are walkable. Staff were friendly and efficient- we had a great stay.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was great

Overall great stay for my family
- 3/5
Shops, museums, and local downtown wharf area nearby. Hotel does not have room service also does not allow guests to enjoy their own locally bought wine in the rest area.
- 5/5
The hotel itself was fine. The staff was great. We were in town for sightseeing, and I would not recommend this hotel for that purpose. I regret not paying a little extra to stay closer to the White House area or even in Alexandria - we loved the feel of that area. That being said, I would still stay here again if I needed to be in the area.
- 5/5
Beautiful, well-appointed facilities combined with warm, professional staff for the win!
- 5/5
Great Walking Location. This is between the lovely wharf with all of the restaurants and the monuments and museums.
- 4/5
The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and modern. The HVAC made to much noise for several minutes when turning on, it was annoying. The staff kept the hallways and exterior guestrooms doors and walls wiped. At the bar Jeff was very pleasant and attentive. Dennis the manager was very engaging and helpful. The public women restrooms were very well maintained. The 9/20 event breakfast buffet was good, but the bacon came out raw. The 9/21 event lunch was very good. The breakfast buffet was good however had to request fresh eggs.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay very clean hotel with dining options
- 5/5
Went for a trip to dc and everything was great. The restaurant in the lobby has great food!
- 1/5
Very disappointing! We had 2 rooms. Parking $65/day (guess it’s the going price but still) Pool freezing, no jacuzzi(plenty of room for one or two) Breakfast for a family cost as much as the room. It is very costly to stay here. Our room was freezing cold, we called twice to complain, thermostat-we changed from 72-74-76-78 then turned off but it kept turning back on. We were told by their engineers there was nothing they could do. Our 2nd room was too hot, the thermostat made no difference but it was tolerable. The freezing room was not tolerable whenever it came back on. In all we were not happy. No stars. Thumbs down.
- 5/5
Clean and close to
- 5/5
I love it! Had an awesome and restful weekend. Highly recommended
- 4/5
Made reservation to include breakfast. Was charged for breakfast anyways. Valet parked ONE car and I was the only adult on the reservation. Charged for two cars. Parking cost of $65/day is outrageous.
- 5/5
Clean property, stylish room, friendly staff. Easy transportation with Metro stop on lower floor. Starbucks in the lobby and a food court on property. Located next door to the Spy Museum and only a few blocks from the museums, National Mall, warf. We will stay here again.
- 5/5
I would definitely stay here again great staff great location
- 4/5
$65 a day for parking was extreme in my opinion.
- 5/5
Great 😊
- 5/5
We enjoyed the freedom this property gave us in proximity to food, shopping and the museums. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The property was also clean and kept very presentable.
- 5/5
Stayed a weekend to visit the city, hotel was clean and having the metro under the hotel was great!
- 5/5
This has restaurants below hotel; ease of use; it is also connect to public transport system( metro) nice location; clean hotel; just overall convenience

It was beautiful and clean.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was top notch!!! The location of the hotel was amazing. Walking distance to the Smithsonian and the wharf. Restaurant/Bar staff could use a more sense of urgency.
- 5/5
Comfortable rooms in a quieter area, but is very accessible for any of the National Mall. Also very close to The Wharf for dining options and the Spy Museum and Museum of the Bible!
- 4/5
Food was left in our fridge. Staff could be friendlier. Parking was expensive, $65 per night.
- 5/5
Nice property, excellent beds and great area!
- 4/5
Close to the National mall and museums which were walkable. Metro station within the complex was convenient. Overall room was spacious, hotel is clean. The only option for parking was valet service and was expensive at $65/day.

- 5/5
The hotel is located in an excellent area if you plan to tour the Mall area of Washington, DC. Very convenient to the wharf that has lots of restaurants/bars. Overall, we had an excellent experience.
- 5/5
Overall I have only complaint: that the beds were far too firm- combined with very new, thick pillows I woke up with a very sore neck and back. I’m not sure if they’re just old, but I was not pleased with that factor. Otherwise the property is clean and modern, with the amenities we look for. The staff was professional. Front desk- at all hours- were courteous and helpful. Valet prices were very high for a truck, but the valets themselves were pros and good at their job. The Starbucks in the lobby is a great touch and, by the way, the ladies staffing it are SUPER! They made my 6 yo daughter feel like a little superstar and continued to do so throughout our stay. Other than a stiff back, we loved it!
- 3/5
Pool was crowded most of the day
- 5/5
All of the staff were super friendly and on their job! Valet guys were great, the front desk were all very accommodating and efficient. The lady cleaning rooms was friendly in passing. Impressive!
- 4/5
The location is great to explore most of what DC has to offer. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating
- 5/5
Clean room with friendly and helpful staff. Also great central location for warf and DC monuments. My only complaint is the breakfast is over priced. Will use again in the future.
- 5/5
Did a 8 day family road trip around the New England area. This was the BEST hotel we stayed at. Very nice, clean and friendly staff.

- 3/5
Difficult communicating with the front desk as they did not understand English language very well. My Granddaughter found a fishing lure in the swimming pool and when we reported it (in person) the front desk help could not understand the word pool. Disappointing for a Hilton anywhere, but especially in our nations capital.
- 5/5
I loved how close it was to museums and dinning options. The room was very dark and could use better lighting.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay here, however we booked this location specifically for the pool so the kids can go swimming. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the entire time of our trip which was disappointing. Aside from the pool, this was a trip for my family.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Location is a amazing, staff great, starbucks in the lobby!
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
We came here for a concert at the wharf and found it extremely convenient affordable and comfortable. All staff were courteous and attentive, fitness center had lots of room and equipment, room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Location was an easy and pretty walk to the wharf where there were many outstanding dining options with great waterfront view. Spy museum and lenfant metro are directly in front and the museums on the mall were also a very walkable 15 minute walk
- 5/5
I got three rooms at the hotel and a couple of my friends had two more rooms. We were happy with everything. Convenient to the wharf and two other DC attractions great service at this hotel!
- 5/5
The cleanliness of our room was up to par with no issues. Our room came with 2 king beds which were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Our room did not have a microwave in it. We requested one and had one delivered to our room within 30 minutes. My family really enjoyed having the Star Bucks in the hotel as well as the many other food options in the attached shopping area. The hotel is within walking distance to many of the museums. The Smithsonian Campus, the Air and Space Museum are all within a 15 minute or less walk of the hotel. The Spy Museum is right next door. We did take a Lyft ride to the Holocaust Museum, The People’s House and The White House. All of which were between a 15 and 30 minute walk. If we visit the DC area again we will definitely be staying at this Hilton again.
- 5/5
Great stay amazing staff!
- 5/5
Conveniently located 10 min to The National Mall and The Wharf in either direction. Very walkable location but also several Metro stops or bus routes available. Couldn’t easily locate garage but valet park easy and convenient. Starbucks onsite in hotel. Roof pool a nice break mid day from the heat. Would choose here again!
- 5/5
Very clean. Great location. Excellent staff. Except for the restaurant.
- 2/5
Rooms are ok. Some lights didn’t work, the room as never cleaned in 4 days even though we had requested it be cleaned every day. We had to request new towels and then when they were delivered the guy shoved them at me and said “here”. Just seemed mediocre at best. When we mentioned the issues again at checkout they seemed dismissive and just going through the motions.
- 5/5
Audrey at the front desk provided with exceptional service! She was very kind and accommodating. This employee deserves a promotion!
- 3/5
The location is close to the wharf and the mall. Had a 2 bedroom suite. The tvs did not work in either room. The pool was broke. The room could have been cleaner. The bar and the lobby area are very nice and clean. Parking at the hotel was 60 dollars a day.
- 4/5
One downside for us was the inability to control the temperature in the room. I tried to adjust the temperature from very cool to a bit warmer. I wound up turning the air off completely. Other than that the accommodations were comfortable.
- 4/5
We stayed here as a family of four and enjoyed the property. It was walkable distance to the museums and also to the wharf. The room was spacious and we appreciated having the 2 king beds. The pool area was also very nice. The only negative was the room AC didn’t work well but the issue was resolved. It was the perfect size room and a great location for our stay.
- 5/5
Great stay for the 4th of July! Loved the proximity to the Washington Memorial! Hotel was clean and breakfast was excellent!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Quiet throughout our stay.
- 3/5
The restaurant is terrible. The waiter brought us very limp carrots and celery with our dried out nasty chicken wings. Definitely will never eat there if Im ever back in dc area
- 4/5
Great location. Great staff. Breakfast buffet was amazing. We had it added when booking thru Expedia. Make sure to show “breakfast added” receipt when checking in to get breakfast passes. Only issue was the TV reception which consistently glitched when on.
- 4/5
Unfortunately pool was closed due to excessive heat. Wharf district for dinner was easily walkable. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Great staff and hotel.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
As usual with Hilton, the room was clean and comfortable, with everything you need. They provided complimentary bottled water in the room, which was super welcome on such a hot day! Breakfast at the hotel was good and convenient, since we didn't find many restaurants offering breakfast close by.. There were tons of options to choose from, and both the buffet area and the dining room were spacious and clean. The location was great and within easy walking distance to several museums and the Mall. The wharf being so close by was also convenient with tons of very good dining options. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to DC.
- 5/5
The housekeeping was wonderful. Our rooms were cleaned each day, as well as fresh towels supplied. The floors were laminate and were kept so clean! We actually didn't mind walking barefoot in our room! We highly recommend this location and friendly staff.
- 5/5
The room and hotel was quiet and comfortable.
- 5/5
spotless large rooms. excellent beds pillows linens etc. lovely staff. great location for walking to sites and also the warf. dc is weird and funding the best route to walk took a minute but once you figure it out it was fine. pool lovely as well. will definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
What I liked most about the property was the friendly staff and the location. The metro was available just below the hotel. Also, other dining options were available downstairs. Also, the boardwalk at the Wharf was just a short walk away with a number of restaurants for lunch/dinner. What I liked least about the property were the prices at the hotel restaurant/bar.
- 5/5
Great stay! Amazing staff!
- 5/5
Everything, especially the staff were all terrific, friendly, respectful and served with such kindness. Room, grounds and property were good too. The only problem I saw was the right elevator taking us to floors 11-15. I witnessed 3 ppl get jammed hard by closing doors because the sensors failed to recognize a person going through them. It felt and was dangerous, though each person was gracious about it. But this needs fixed please. Thank you.
- 3/5
This seems to be happening at more hotels, but I am unsure why the "comforters" are like sheets these days. I was cold with the two sheets on the bed, so I called down to ask for a blanket. I called 3x and no one answered so I went down to the front desk. It was 1AM so not sure why they didn't answer.
- 5/5
Great location and very nice to have two king beds when traveling with kids.
- 3/5
I paid for a room with a city view and did not get one. The shower was old and dirty. I would not stay there again
- 5/5
The Hilton was very clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance to the major museums in the area (12-15 mins). There’s a Starbucks in the hotel which is convenient if you need caffeine in the morning. The website said the pool is heated but it was very cold when we went in June.
- 4/5
My only gripe would be the room cleanliness. There were fingernail clippings on the floor and the edges of the floor had a layer of dirt and dust around everything. Was obvious they don’t have a swiffer or mop on the cleaning regimen. Also, the front desk hung up on my 14 year old twice when they called to ask if the pool was open. (It was previously closed due to cloudy weather)
- 4/5
Family Trip
- 4/5
Well placed hotel for visiting the sites of Washington
- 2/5
I was not given a King Deluxe King as promised. I had to ask for it once I found I had a twin room. They then gave me a King Room but it did not have the pool view as promised. I was there for work so the view was not a big deal. But if I was on vacation it would have mattered
- 5/5
My stay here was perfect! Clean, quiet and very convenient to walk to the museums or take the metro just below the hotel. Will definitely stay here again!
- 1/5
not helpfull
- 5/5
Staff was so kind and accommodating. Very clean and nice hotel.
- 5/5
Perfect location to enjoy the Mall, the Wharf and museums in D.C. Also, a small mall with many eateries and the Metro are connected making accessible reasonably priced meals and travel throughout the city. The Metro stop at Arlington was perfect. The hotel was clean and the service was impeccable. 5 star hotel and a 5 star trip to our Capitol.
- 5/5
Very nice!
- 5/5
Hotel is very clean , nice front desk staff. Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Centrally located
- 5/5
Clean walkable location. My family enjoyed the facilities and area.
- 5/5
Nice clean and looks amazing. Room had 2 king beds. Good location from metro station and the national mall.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The doors on the 12th floor noisily slammed all night long. We had no housekeeping service either day we were there, hence did not leave a housekeeping tip.
- 3/5
The location is great, especially it is connected to DC Metro station. Don't like the shower water volume/pressure: shower water is of low volume and weak we basically doubled the shower time (and still don't feel very clean). There are 2 tea bags and Keurig coffee maker (Nespresso please) in the room. We stayed 4 for nights and I asked cleaning crew for more tea bags I was told to call downstairs. The bedding had smell like someone else slept on it.
- 5/5
It was great. Service was especially good
- 5/5
Very comfortable rooms. Service was great. Access to shopping and food nearby as well as museums and the wharf. Took advantage of the free shuttle from the wharf to the national Mall. Will be staying here again when we come back.
- 5/5
Location. Staff.
