The customer service was excellent from the receptionist. She assisted us throughout the process along with attempting to cancel a reservation. As the facility didn't have the available room. My daughter's found bugs in their room.

The hotel was ok and in a good location. My major problem is being nickel and dimes for features that are free even in most economy hotels. They advertise breakfast is every morning from 8:30 - 10:30 AM but neglect to inform you of the hyper inflated cost. As an example; a cup of coffee that the front desk clerk pumped from a storage container was $4.50. Breakfast food was equally overpriced.

This hotel definitely has some challenges. However I do have to say that after bringing my concerns to the management they really did their best to go above and beyond to make things right.

Convenient location! The property had nice curb appeal and lots of restaurants nd shopping close by. Our bed/ mattress left both my husband and I with stiff backs in the morning. The bathroom was updated, very nice except for some mold on the bathtub grout! I was very disappointed that there wasn’t a complimentary bottle of water upon check-in and wished Marriott would offer a coffee in an urn near the reception desk.

Property did not meet expectations. Room was very awkward with TV viewed from the side of bed not the foot. Bath tub was extremely small. Window ledges were extremely dirty. Light from hallway was very visible in the room. Not very sound-proof. Noisy hallway. Toilet was extremely low. Few tissues were left in box and when used asked for replacement but was told they needed the empty box before a replacement was given. Pool was not available but was not made aware of this until after check-in. Overall was not a good experience.

As far as the property itself is concerned, the pool is and apparently has been out of service for several weeks now. Had this been made known prior to booking I probably would have opted to stay elsewhere. The hotel seems to be a bit dated and it just did not fit the standard of other Mariott hotels that I've stayed. In all honesty the Holiday Inn Express up the street is a better stay AND they offer free buffet breakfast. In a nutshell, I won't be back to this location and definitely won't recommend to it others.

I did tell the front desk about the issues I had. I wish I would have taken photos but I didn't. The rooms need to be properly cleaned. I like this hotel because it's close to where my sister lives and in a great location to eateries and shopping.

I specifically booked this hotel in the location specifically again for the hotel.Hot tub and pool.I was told upon my check in that they both were being renovated and they weren't available, which I was very disappointed. There was no food available in the hotel. I thought there may be breakfast available. Had to leave out 7 o'clock in the morning to go. Get something to eat in the cold. Overall clean hotel, but the amenities. If you not gonna have the pool in a hot tub operational, put that on the website, don't just try to make the money, I don't appreciate that it's my spring break and I was looking for a hotel with a hot tub.

I called before Marriott before booking to ask if the pool was available, I was told yes, and when I arrived I learned that the pool was not available. Bummer because I looked forward to enjoying the indoor pool and hot tub.

Location was good The shower was never hot and could not regulate the temp of the room, thankful the window could be cracked or I would of burned up in the hotel room and the indoor pool and hot tub were not working. It would have been nice to be informed prior.

The bed Restaurant was not open, Snack store very poorly stocked. Room the one and only usb port didn't work, volume on T.V spotty. Bathroom towels one soft the other hard. Then I was charged on my card a higher price price then what was quoted on Booking.com

I always love how it’s clean, comfortable, and i don’t have to worry about the staff. My shower was only hot for 2 minute and it just got luke warm and by 10 min i had it on the hottest setting and it was almost cold. No hand bar soap was in the room so we had to use the provided body wash to wash hands.

I had to switch rooms due to a tv issue after getting comfortable. My A/C unit was also leaking pretty bad in my second room which I didn’t notice until the next morning. The pool was also closed after I was told it would be open later in the day.

Almost fell in hallway to my room, carpet covered up uneven flooring. Room had a tub in it from the 1990’s. Room decorated from the 1990’s. Carpeting on floors is not good, for today’s standards. Should be no carpeting on hotel room floors. Would not recommend this hotel to friends and family. Would not stay at this hotel again even with the room remodeling their currently doing. See comments in previous question.

My only complaint is that the hotel is under renovation. I booked and paid for this hotel, specifically, because it had a pool. I was super disappointed that due to renovations there was no access to pool and no breakfast. I would have picked another hotel to celebrate my birthday if i had known. Other than that, i really enjoyed my stay and i will book there again.

The staff was amazing, however the hotel lacked some things. One literally being towels. There were none at the pool, and the front desk ran out. In a room that slept 4 people we were only alotted 2 towels. Also out bathroom door could not close. These as small issues with big impacts that are easily fixable for the next guest. Hopefully

I enjoy staying here when I'm in Southern Maryland. I feel safe, there is ample parking, many nearby stores and restaurants, rooms are very clean, and the staff is always kind. Shout out to William at the front desk for his great customer service!

The staff were very helpful. The hotel was booked the whole time we were there but they still helped us as quickly as possible. We were in the room ajouning the pool and there was a high pitched sound that would is up we had to wear ear plugs. Stayed 6 nights. They are renovating so that may account for it.

The hotel was good and our room was very spacious but we tried to get breakfast that morning and the lady at the counter was taking orders and had to make the food but she was new and was very honest with us that she didn't know how to make half the food and it would take longer than 30 mins (which we didn't have at the time), so we just left and got something along the way. Not sure why they put her in that position vs training her properly but that was disappointing as we were looking forward to grabbing breakfast there.

I waited 1 hour just to get checked in. There were ants crawling on the bed and a blood stain on the sheets. The conditions were so bad that my family had to leave the hotel, we could not sleep there. Worse experience ever!

The breakfast was half as good as the offerings at the Wawa down the street and was twice the price. I optimistically went for the hotel breakfast the first morning but got a microwaved hard roll with a from frozen egg and cheese for $13 and learned my lesson.

Property had to move my guests. Family members room experienced a leak and had to be moved. Otherwise , property was convenient for family function.

The sheets were pilling, paper thin, and uncomfortable. The whole room just didn’t look or feel clean. The shower floor had a weird texture. I wouldn’t stay again, I felt so uncomfortable.

There is no elevator. The property itself is not marked and can’t figure where the entrance is. The night attendant is asleep inside. As a senior I had to argue to change my rooms to ground floor from 2nd.

One was the pool and the location. pool not working jacuzzi not working room phone not working iron not working I’m Muslim and I’m fasting there was no accommodations for breakfast for me.

Overall stay was very good.

Hotel advertised a bar and evening dining which was unavailable during our stay. We checked online to make sure what services were available and were disappointed not having a bar to meet friends. We were in town for a funeral and unfamiliar with the area which is why we chose this hotel.

We were very surprised with the beds. The mattresses were flimsy to the point when we sat on them and if course slept in them, they caved in the middle. They felt like an air mattress when its losing its air. we didnt complain to the front desk because we got it late around 11 and needed to get some sleep before getting in the road. Although the room was nice, we were very disappointed by the mattresses.

Had a wonderful stay, staff was very professional

I quickly went online and booked a room at the courtyard Marriott in Waldorf. Although this hotel was a little further than my event destination, I was happy that they had availability. When I arrived at the hotel, I was excited to see from the outside that this was definitely the type of hotel that I would stay in. It was well kept and clean on the outside. Upon entering the hotel, my daughter and I were greeted very professionally with a smile by the rep at the counter. He got us checked in and gave us pertinent information to make our stay enjoyable. It was a refreshing feeling being treated like valued customers and seeing how clean and refreshing the lobby area was. Our room was on the second floor. On the way up, I was a bit nervous about the elevator because it made weird sounds and sounded like perhaps the door needed to be “greased”; it took a while to close and had a scratchy, dragging sound. The room was nice, clean, smelled good, and the beds were very comfortable.

It was a great stay. The facility is older and some things were coming apart in the bathroom. Otherwise, great stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Outlets in the room& elevator did not work last night there. Wallpaper coming down in our room, walls & wallpaper dirty, hall floor on 3rd felt like it was going to give in in certain areas and the ice machine was broken on our floor

Linens seemed clean but smelled of chemicals. Got sick2my stomach. Slept poorly. Stephan OKed late check in as I clean up after wedding. They said extra charge.

Computer issues made checkin take over 1/2 hour. The room has a strong “floral” scent, probably due to a rug cleaning product.

Their system was down, took a while to get checked in but the staff and manager went out of their way to provide me with excellent service. They were courteous and professional, beside of the system being down, i was totally satisfied with their service, outstanding customer service!
