Older hotel. The elevator was extremely slow. Many updates needed. Read previous review of hotel, was somewhat shocked. Photos online much different than actual hotel when arriving.

The staff was very friendly. The facility was very clean. There were too many younger children unsupervised in the pool area.

The location of the property. How clean and comfortable the rooms were. Only thing I didn’t really like was the elevator took a while to get to the floor you needed. Other than that no complaints.

Front desk guy - I assume is the owner - super easy to handle everything. Not much, really. Just that it's difficult to find a good room temperature at night.

I love this motel. Wonderful location, friendly staff, and clean. The TV has a plethora of channels, shops , bars and restaurants are in walking distance, and the balcony was a delightful bonus. The balcony provides a beautiful scene and natural light and warmth. Lovely.

It's an older hotel, but had everything we needed. It is right on the boardwalk, location is wonderful. The indoor pool and hot tub was nice to have if the weather turned bad. The one thing I did not like was the bed...its frame is metal, not very comfortable. But, all in all it was a great stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice motel and in a very good location for what all we wanted to do. We really appreciate everything! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ N/A

Location They were doing construction to the rooms while we were there and started around 9am, the elevator was hot and didn’t work to go down, the keys worked half the time, we had to move the cones ourself to leave the parking, check in was rude when I got there to check in, and the pool had still murky water to where we couldn’t see the bottom so we didn’t get to swim.

I have stayed here many times, and it's always great, and very clean; I especially like the cold bottled water, the friendly and helpful staff that are always available, free coffee in coffee shop, central location. All around great value, the only place I will stay if it's available.

This was an excellent place! 5 stars! I will definitely come back here next time I go to VA beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, location was perfect, elevator was fast, room was clean and spacious and had a coffee tea maker in it. The room has a perfect ocean view! The pool and hot tub was also very nice and a major bonus! Nice parking right there also and didn’t have to walk. I will see you guys next time!! Thanks! Shane

This retro style hotel, although older, is a wonderful lower cost option for an oceanfront stay in Virginia Beach. The rooms are very clean, the beds & bedding of very good quality. Nice oceanfront balcony with seating & small table. Although the stay doesn't include breakfast, there's a cute, trendy coffee shop attached to the hotel, where you can get a complimentary cup of coffee, and purchase delicious pastries, breakfast sandwiches, as well as sandwiches for lunch. Convenient free parking right at the hotel. Perfect location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and multiple ice cream shops (Ben & Jerry's directly across the street). Highly recommend. No criticisms....everything was fine.

Pretty out dated, could use an update. I do wish the motel was secured at night, the door was open for non visitors to walk in whenever.

This hotel is in a great location, clean and comfortable. Nice coffee shop next door.

The air conditioner unit in our room this time was a little weird. I don't think it was working correctly but that's it everything else is wonderful.

The room was clean and no bugs seen. The pool and hot tub was nice. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom is extremely small. The pool closed early and the employee closing the pool was extremely rude and inconsiderate. The parking lot is also quite small. There is another very small lot across the street but it seems like there's more rooms than parking spaces.

Everything was great. Just like other reviews state, it’s an older motel, so don’t expect fancy. But you can expect CLEAN and Staff was helpful and friendly. Kids loved the pool. Walking distance to so many things. Beautiful sunrise on a nice day!

We didn’t stay didn’t even go to the room. There were police all over the place I’m guessing over 100. Didn’t feel safe so we left.

The pool was a great size to accommodate many people. Internet was more than adequate. Bed was not comfortable. Lack of extra blankets for warmth.

The rooms were clean, though finishes were dated. The rates more than made up for that. The A/C and the fridge was noisy. We had to turn off the the A/C to hear the sound of the waves.

Location was good. And all of the staff was very sweet. The room smelled like a bad brand of cigarette smoke. All of our clothes ended up smelling like it. When I booked it, I requested a non-smoking room, but didn't get one. Also, the smell of weed was everywhere we went. Couldn't sit out on the balcony for more than a few minutes because it permeated our air from the units below us. The hallway smelled like it. The hotel has alot of age showing, especially floor #5.

The place was clean. The beds were so comfortable. We even had 4 pillows per queen bed. They were soft and fluffy. Cannot complain about anything. Beautiful ocean view. Refrigerator worked great. The towels and wash clothes were stock when we got there. Never needed anything. The motel is older but kept extremely well. Sink area in bathroom is small. But lots of furniture in room. A big round pole with cameras that was on broadwalk that obstructed my view looking straight off my balcony. But not their fault. Just don't stay on any floor that's a second room. 12, 22, 32, 42, 52, 62. Lol!

I liked the location, right on the beach. The outside of the motel is a little run-down looking, but our room was modern and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Parking is always hard there if you leave don't expect to find a space in the main parking lot when you get back. But they do have other parking not great for the Handi-cap

For a quick getaway for two teens and me , it was perfect. The staff was very nice and easy check in. Easy parking, plenty of room to get in and out for suv and smaller. Parking lot across the street for larger vehicles as well. Older property, refurbished and kept very clean. Indoor pool was warm. Hottub hot and always plenty of towels. All rooms have an ocean view balcony. For the price it is a great stay. Now understand for the price you are getting an older property, slower elevator , foggy looking windows around pool, doors always unlocked so for anyone and everyone always stay safe and alert. But everything is clean and working. Always staff working/cleaning at all times of the day. Great location.ONLY downside we had was other guests being loud and not parenting there kids , but you get that anywhere you go.At 26th street you are away from the bars more and have Walgreens a block away if you need something. Restaurants we loved was Pocahontas Pancake House and legerheads amazing staff, prices and food. We live about 30 minutes away so we now this area very well and loved these two places. We will drive to the beach for them often. Thank you to the staff and the lady working on the 5th floor for being so nice and polite.

The rooms are small and the hallways are narrow but the view is great! The pool and hot tub were a plus. It’s an older motel so it’s not as fancy as some at the beach but for the price pad it was worth the stay.

I was stuck in this hotel for 3.5 hrs because there was a marathon out front. The hotel staff (who knew about this annual event) instructed all customers to park in their parking lot the night before, so nobody could leave the next day. Also, there was a fire right outside of my room. The room and hotel were pretty clean, to be fair, but I still won’t be back.

So I will say this the hotel itself is clean but I will say I didn’t have the best experience and if I could find a way to legally dispute the transaction I would my hopes for this vacation as minimal just to relax in my hotel room with WiFi to be able to play my handheld game and binge my shows from my bed or balcony but the WiFi even with my phone over the ROUTER ON THR FIRST FLOOR TAKES almost 10 minutes to load Google this whole entire trip I spent more days out of the room and paying cafes and looking for hotspots services I was deeply saddened when I even called and asked the front desk is there anything they could do even just moving room WiFi booster anything but the man didn’t seem to care so my trip was spent in a box with a prettty ocean view btw my trip was towards the end of the month so using my phone data was impossible to even watch YouTube there was a nice Spanish lady that made my day on the 5th floor but I’ll say if your someone who needs absolutely no WiFi to enjoy your stay this is a awesome option but if it’s work related bringing your phone to connect or even laptop don’t count on it it literally the worst especially for someone vacationing in 2025 in when I went to the islands Jamaica Puerto Rico even in the campo in DR they had loads of WiFi no reason I spent over $1000 bucks and can’t even stream YouTube in my bed

The cleaning staff does a wonderful job they go in clean everything they don’t mess with anything that’s not theirs which is rare this day in age highly recommend this hotel beautiful view over all amazing visit

Location was great. Room was clean. Elevator very small. No screen on our sliding door. Pop machine would only give cans of Coke. Didn’t matter which button was pushed. 1/2 rolls of toilet paper on the dispenser.
