There should be coffee set up in the lobby.

The location was right on the boardwalk it was great. There was no breakfast , and coffee was only available from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. there was no microwave in the room. Not even in the common space no microwave. You got an ice machine and a soda machine and that was it. The bathroom was cramped. Sand and dirt stuck in the corners and the grout of the bathroom. As soon as we walked into our room there was a dead spider on the floor that look like it had been there for days. Also there was sand all over the floor like it had never been vacuumed. The blackout curtains were deteriorating they had holes in them as seen in the picture. And the elevators floors look like they had never been cleaned.

Great location No microwaves in the room or even on site. Asked more than once to have our room lightly cleaned and it was never cleaned. Also beware of hidden “resort fees” added to your bill when you check in.

It was close to the beach and in walking distance of food gas and cigs. The staff was great and its a clean hotel. No continental breakfast and the coffee station was only open for 2 hrs.

The property is on the ocean. 6 story building. This is an old building that was renovated but still has the old details (a hook to hold the bedroom door open.) No security latch. No donuts no fruit no microwave just coffee. They are adding Caribbean paradise. (No details was available). Rooms were clean and staff was nice

The location. Staff were friendly There is no microwave in the room. The rooms were noisy. You could hear the people upstairs and next to you and all the toilets flushing on either side and upstairs. I had the wrong coffee filter for the coffee maker. There was no restaurant. I was counting on there being a restaurant in the facility, but it was closed. Air conditioner had a warning to not have it go too cold or it would freeze over. When I ran it at the normal temperature it made horrible sound that kept me awake all night.

NOTHING!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!! Nothing, from the time we entered until the time we left. This hotel cleanest is horrible. The housekeeping carts have bugs crawling on them and in the rooms. The bed had blood stains on it that they tried to remove the stain off the mattress pad with bleach and left it there and just covered it up, instead of removing it all together. The halls smelt of marijuana.The AC vents were covered in dust. The bathtub was clogged. The vents in the bathroom were held up by tape. Coming from a hotel manager this hotel environment is unsafe for all health reasons. It needs to be destroyed and rebuilt. The hotel staff (security guard) stayed at the hotel counter with a hat on with a marijuana symbol on it. While on the phone the whole time. The health inspector and the state need to come out and close this establishment down or have them bring it up to code immediately.

The pool was great for the kids. They accommodated us with 2 vehicles and they even let us stay and play in the pool after checkout. Was awesome! Thanks for a nice stay!

Our room was clean and had a great ocean view. There were some elevator issues, one was out of order. We only stayed one night and didn't really get to use the pool or the eating area. Parking lot in front was very helpful!

Being stuck in the elevator between floors and having people banging on the doors trying to get us out until the firemen arrived and finally helped us up to the next floor and out of the elevator

The location was great! The room was very outdated, the shower had no pressure and the beds were awful. The mattress was hard and as soon as you sat down you could hear the springs. We did not sleep at all. Long overdue for upgrades.

Hotel is clean and front desk was very welcoming and pleasant. Beach access was awesome. Nights can be noisy with adults and mornings with children but perhaps no avoiding that at the beach. We would stay again for sure.

The breakfast area was under construction

There was a dead bug on the floor. The bathroom floor had hair on it. The bed had some gross sayings carved into the head board. The room had a strong weird smell. How dirty the floor was and walls. The weird smell. And got charged extra even though I went through booking.

The bathroom door in our room would not stay closed, the fridge was lukewarm, the tub would not hold water to take a bath, but the water was very nice and hot which sorta made up for the door. There were only three small pillows on the bed which made sleep all but impossible were it not for the sound of the waves from the ocean view we had. The beach access was great it was a five minute walk from the hotel to the boardwalk and the beach so this was great. The amount of money I paid for this hotel stay was outrageous to me the only saving grace was the hot water to shower and the beach access. Save your money stay somewhere else. Juanita Griffiths

The extra fees should not be charged. We did not even have time to use the pool but we had to pay for it.

The whole Virginia Beach experience was incredible. From the hotel to the people and the things that were offered to see and do! Great place, hope to get back there again!

Beautiful beach view. Staff helpful and friendly. Shower wonderful. Bed was the worst part because it was small. Snug fit for 2 adults. No Microwave on property which sucked. But not bad for budget friendly.

The reviews for the hotel were very good, it was not. Desk staff were not friendly, gave me just the facts and sent me on my way. I lifted the trash bag out of the bathroom to untie it and the bottom was gross with a used Kotex pad, the bathroom sink was dirty and the fan cover was falling out of the ceiling. Will not stay there again.

We did not know there was a festival and all streets were barricaded. What a pain!

We were at the beach There was a parade that blocked the streets and it was difficult in accessing stores and restaurants. No microwave in the hotel or complimentary treats with coffee.

There weren’t any hotel pillows and the mattresses had springs in them. That is smallest bathroom for a hotel. The balcony was okay. The location was spot on. The beach feet away and shopping and restaurants were across the street. I’m not considering booking here again.

The location was perfect. All rooms are oceanfront. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Could definitely use a little updating, especially the bathrooms but everything was was very clean. The city was on a 9:30pm curfew for all, not the hotels fault but we wouldn't have booked a room in VA Beach.

Friendly staff and easy check in and out. Property and room was very clean. For my coffee friends... bring your own coffee pot!!!! The room has a "mini Mr Coffee" machine that fills a tiny cup. The taste of the coffee filter packs brand is horrible and undrinkable.

Let’s start with what was good - the beach view was wonderful. You could watch the sunrise every morning. Now the room - it was very outdated, smelled terrible and was not clean. The bathtub looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in years and the toilet had feces splash on the inner part of the toilet. The beds are full size not queen. I would not return and would not recommend this place. Also, no microwave in the room and none in the “lobby”. The maintenance person was very good. When the toilet clogged he was up to our room within minutes. Also, the toilet paper was very cheap and terrible.

The hotel did not disclose that the restaurant was not open. The hotel only provides coffee from 7am until 9am. The bathroom light also turns on the exhaust fan and is extremely noisy. Exhaust fan was full of lint.

When I checked out I forgot my iPhone charger. I reported it, yet it was never turned in by cleaners. The hotel itself was lovely, bed comfy. Showers amazing. I’d definitely stay again but not in the rooms I mentioned.

The people above our room sounded like they were gonna come through the floor and the elevator noise.

Booked 2 rooms for my daughter's 18th bday. We had a great balcony view. The staff was absolutely wonderful. When there was a mix up about the parking garage, a staff member at the front reimbursed my parking AND $3 extra. The halls did smell like cigarettes and the ice machine had dirty ice...but overall it was clean and I would stay again.

The hotel overall was fine. The walls are extremely thin after quiet hours. It was like the hotel came alive and I could hear every conversation from every single room on the floor that we were on other than that our stay was fine.

The bathroom tub is old it felt like you were going to fall in the floor and no blankets for the bed the tv is super small for a double bedroom the walls are thin so you hear everything people running around at night. They need to update the property

This hotel was in a great location, close to restaurants and stores. The oceanfront room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Views were amazing with the sunrise every morning. The boardwalk is very nice for walking along the ocean.

Great hotel for the price! The view is spectacular especially at sunrise!! Oceanfront Inn was walking distance to many great restaurants and shops! With friendly staff and a good good nights sleep, it is a great choice for the money!

We had a great stay. The oceanfront view was perfect. Parking was easy, it was in front/attached to the hotel. Staff was nice. Hotel needed a little updating. There was spacing between the door, I could see the hallway and light coming through to the room. Bathrooms could use an update as well. Overall for the price and location we were satisfied and we are picky.

It’s on the beach with a balcony. The price is fair. There is an AC unit in the room so you can adjust the temperature accordingly. There are several ice machines on various floors. The bad: The beds are horrible and hard as a rock. The sheets are so incredibly scratchy that it makes the bed even worse. The AC unit is so loud that every time it turns on, you will wake up. It’s a fine place to stay as long as you like a very hard bed. It’s reasonably clean and everything works. It’s devoid of anything one could classify as luxurious however, having the beach directly in front of you makes up for a lot…especially with a small balcony

The rooms are roomy! Great balconies, all face the water. The rooms I've had there were always quiet with working fridge, TV, AC, etc. Very comfortable mattresses. Plenty of hot water for showers (that's a concern at a busy beach). Price/value cannot be beat. Not even with a stick!

It was a nice hotel with a direct oceanfront room. The parking lot is tight so be mentally prepared for that and there is a resort fee but it was not terrible like some places. Front desk people were nice and we really enjoyed our room and bed after a long day.

Room did not have microwave. Refrigerator froze the food we put in it. Ruined a lot of baby food. Elevators are sketch. 2 of the 3 malfunctioned. Got stuck in one.

Stayed during the off-season. Beach view was great. Located right on the boardwalk, so most restaurants and attractions were within walking distance. Parking was also great. Building itself was outdated and showed it's age. The whole place appeared to be 30 years overdue for new paint and a deep clean. Elevators were also sketchy - slow and jerked often. Just needed a room for the night, so it was adequate. And the price was reasonable.

The room service was there every day, what we did not like the was only one small cabinet with 3 small drawers , so if you stay for longer than you have a problem to get all your stuff sorted.

The beach view was great. It was close to everything. The room wasn’t really clean. The floors were very dirty. The bathroom floor, tub and walls were dirty. The toilet paper holder was hanging out of the wall on one side. The outlet nearest to the patio was hanging out of the wall. The room needed some updating. The bed sheets weren’t very clean. I had the same sheet back on my bed on the 5th day that I had on the first day. It had a distinct mark on it. The patio door had no screen. Our room wasn’t touched from the time we got there until the 3rd day. While the views were nice I wouldn’t stay there during the beach season. We were disappointed.

An older hotel, but in good shape. Rooms have been remodeled and love that they used lvp instead of carpet. The bathroom could use an update, but it wasn't terrible. It would have been nice to have the restaurant open.

This hotel was wonderful! We had a nice, clean, quiet and comfortable room. The room was a little dated, but everything was clean, the beds were comfy and everything was in good, working condition. You can’t beat the price for a view like this in a great location. Loved this place.

The location was convenient and the staff was very friendly.

My husband and I liked everything about the property! It was very clean and access to the beach was awesome as well as many restaurants.

The pictures posted for the motel listing is very misleading. There were so many issues with our room that we spoke with the lead maintenance gentleman and was told that management was fully aware of the many problems and issues with the rooms but refused to fix them. Some of the problems we witnessed were a timed air conditioner that barely worked, our tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, dusty furniture, dirty room walls, no towels, and if you required housekeeping, you would need to call the front desk every day to request it.

No microwave in the room. Door would not shut easy

The location is great, Central on the boardwalk. The staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions or activity/dining suggestions. The downfall is the hotel is a bit dated, could use a remodel on the bathroom. There is no microwave in the room, you need to use one off the lobby that is for the entire hotel. No restaurant and no breakfast available.

Great location.

The check in process was very easy and every employee I met or interacted with was polite and helpful. Our room was clean with plenty of towels, wash clothes, hand towels, soap, etc. The hotel is situated close to the ocean (oceanfront), stores, parking, places to eat. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely return and stay again in the future.

I didn't like the fat i book well in advance an get there an had to sattle for a room with two beds instead of one

Right on the beach. Awesome view of the Ocean. However our bathroom was not cleaned properly. The sink was not draining. The toilet bowl was not cleaned properly. The front desk and maintenance staff was good in taking care of the issues

Latosha at the front desk was welcoming and did her best to make my room exactly as i like it (on lower floor) .. her effort made my stay awesome. I cant wait to stay there again.. soon

This is an adequate hotel at a good price point. For someone coming to virginia beach on a budget the Oceanfront Inn should definitely be considered, although if you go up a level in the price point you will most likely get a nicer hotel. All in all this is an adequate hotel that provides good value for the money. A cheaper hotel in VB will probably be a complete dump.

Strange set up. Lobby is on the 2nd floor and our room was next to the hotel. Bathroom was small but other than that it was a great location.

Everything was fantastic. Staying facing the ocean was beautiful and we were located right in the middle of downtown with plenty to do. Staff was very friendly, kind and willing to help. The rooms had some paint chips or a little rip on the shower curtain, but for the price and location, it was really great. Hard to beat waking up to the sound of the ocean and a beautiful view.

The balcony and beautiful ocean view was the only redeeming thing about this property. My room seemed clean enough. Other than that, I don’t recommend staying at the Oceanfront Inn. The hotel is old and needs a lot of maintenance and upgrades. Some of the staff were friendly but some were rude. The rooms have somewhat comfortable beds and a small tv/mini fridge. No microwaves. Old tiny bathrooms. The AC is old and wouldn’t stay on very long, nor did it keep the room cool enough at all. The beds were ok comfortable but not the best. I’d rather stay at a Red Roof Inn than here. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless all you’re looking for is a bed and being near the beach with great ocean views.

Affordable and nice staff

A nice location at the northern end of Va Beach.

I was disappointed in this hotel. It’s very old and depressing. If you going to go to Virginia Beach try to spend the extra bucks and stay at a Hilton or other name brand. This place is just another dumpy Virginia Beach hotel. They should be ashamed to be operating such a dump.

Clean rooms wonderful ocean view Staff wonderful!

Very kind staff with easy process and let us check in early thankfully since we had our 2 year old with us. The pool seems very clean and well kept with cool water. Easy beach entrance and good size balcony . Great deal !

Absolutely disgusting place to stay!!! Bathroom was terrible. Nobody wanted to shower because the tub looked disgusting!!! Windows were dirty, hair on the floor, just disgusting. Spend way too much money to stay here and the place is disgusting.

Will stay again. Room will need remodeling soon

It's not a fancy hotel but it's great for being on the beach and spending your yearly income... Perk is the indoor pool great for the kids.

Clean comfortable room although dated and small bathroom. Slept every night with balcony door open listening to the ocean. Love location. Average accommodation but would stay again.

We've been coming to this property for over 10 years we now for the last few years take friends with us they love also coming to this property it's just a very convenient property you're right on the beach you get up in the morning you have the balcony you see the dolphins you see the waves coming in you're right next to the Neptune statue also you have all kinds of places to go and eat places to shop so it's just a great place also the indoor pool is great for the children when they don't want to go to the beach and the staff is always so nice and accommodating so we just love to go to the oceanfront inn

Hotel needs a few updates, air conditioning needs help!! Convenient location, easy access. Wish I could have gotten coffee till 11:00. I liked the area much better than where I stayed before.

Loved the pool, miss having restaurant there,had great food. Our air conditioner wasn't cooling room much and was noisy when coming on.. balcony needs swept off and really needs a side table for drinks. Bathroom fan really loud.. Everyone very nice and will definitely stay there again.

Hotel was clean and had beautiful view of the ocean. There was no breakfast or dining at the hotel. The hotel was older although it was renovated. Parking was an issue.

The balcony view was nice, as well as the polite staff, and convenient location where you could walk out right to the beach.

Horrible front desk they acted like they hated their job and didn’t want to be there. Not friendly at all. We received a roller bed and there was old sheets that looked like they had beef on there for a long time. No covering over the bed for protection. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I never make comments or do these but I felt you should know.

Do not get a room with odd numbers you will be facing the streets. VERY NOISY. cars beeping horn playing music, firetruck, ambulances is the worst could not sleep at all

My trip was good but the room wasn't bathroom

This was our second stay here. Everything was wonderful. Nice area, convenient parking and clean environment.

Enjoyed the stay. Would get all stars if smoking violations were enforced as it should because its posted No Smoking. Other than that ,its a nice place to stay.

Hotel was good, however they advertise a no smoking hotel… the hallways smelled of weed at times. I don’t like a hotel that threatens to charge us if we smoke in the hotel.. when the hotel already smells of weed. The room itself is fine, just the hallways. Lastly the beds are a bit hard, but fine. Overall I enjoyed the stay for the price. Those are just my complaints.

I liked the fact that they had parking attendants on this year's visit. I would like to suggest that the stage a parking attendant in the parking garage as well for safety. I was alittle alarmed walking through the levels in the staired location due to anybody off the strip could enter as well.

Check in was excellent housekeeping when we asked for something they were there in minutes maintenance when we asked for help. They were there in minutes. Excellent service.
