Unprofessional and unhelpful

Everything was clean and great besides a hole in the living room floor.

We were informed the ac was turned on 5 minutes before our arrival and it did not actually cool down the room until 2am. The floors were so dirty and there were no extra sheets for the pull out sofa which was stained. The parking is very strange too.

We got to know the maintenance man very well as it took 3/4 days to get toilet to work properly. We purchased our own plunger to keep in our room. This property is older and slightly more than run down but it accommodated my boyfriend and I when we needed something less expensive than most and we needed it immediately. The view from the balcony was spectacular but there again it accommodated 2 there is no way this room is suitable for 6 guests. Did we enjoy our trip? Very much so, would I stay here again? No

Came in late, nightshift staff member charged the wrong card. First tried to charge us $70 more than what we should’ve paid. Then they only have 1 elevator that was broken the whole time. The room just felt dirty. Didn’t use the pool as it just looked dirty all around. For the amount of money that we paid, the only good thing was the view of the ocean outside the balcony.

Didnt stay Moved rooms 3 times. First one had underwear on door,second didn’t have either tv’s or phone, third the shower knobs was missing and the room wreaked of urine. We left the same day because it was unbearable.

That the beach was right there in walking distance. It wasnt a great stay. The employees was not friendly. Our room flooded the tvs didnr work and when they moved us to a new room in the middle of the night some strange man was in our new room smoking and had a key i mean wow.

This is a very affordable room, but it is an old property. There’s one very old elevator. When you walk in it reminds you a little bit of New York projects. There is a nice beach view for a very small balcony. I also like the spacious living room the staff was not friendly. In fact the staff member that woke me in was unprofessional and polite however, for the price it is closely located to some of the fun stuff

The best quality of this hotel is its location because it is right at the entrance of Va beach and oceanfront. Other than that it was quite a disaster experience because the room was dirty, the sheets were dirty, their was fecal stained on the toilet bowl, and the sofa couch was broken so not usable for our party of 6. The sofa also had what appeared to be mouse droppings. When raising the concerns to staff, their solution was to move us but the other rooms were equally as unpleasant. There was a leak in the bathroom from the floor above, the TV in the room did not have signal, and housekeeping entered the room unannounced. We ended up ending our 3 day trip a day early because we no longer felt comfortable. Please keep in mind before booking.

Rooms need a lot of updating. The view is beautiful but the hotel needs attention. Ice machine didn't work, no cups for coffee. Bedding is just sheets. Mattresses need replaced, couches are stained and uncomfortable. Flooring and counters need replaced what water damage. Fruits and snacks would be appreciated.

Although the location was great the room smelled horribly of stale smoke, couch was stained terribly, shower curtain was stained terribly, cook top was cracked and people's smoke from their balcony was overwhelming. Certainly needs updates. Staff were friendly.

We had to ask for clean towels daily along with our room to be cleaned daily (sand) and extra toilet paper.

Great staff, they handle issues, keep your high expectations to yourself and be thankful for a great price, space, and location. It's ideal for the people who like to go out.

Don't expect high end service. The staff is great, friendly, and they handle issues accordingly. The water sometimes takes a while to get warm, oh well. Quit expecting high end hotel service. The rates at this property are incredible. You have an entire bedroom and spacious living room. A full size fridge and two burner stove top that work. I've stayed for extended periods of time and I'm happy with it.

It was terrible, never saw a hotel being so expensive and not meeting cleaning expectations. There was dust and hairs all over the pillows and beds, and stain in all the bed wear, and towels. Terrible terrible, and disgusting. Would never recommend this place. The couch in the living room dirty as hell and full of stains, so the windows and mirrors. Asked the receptionist for assistance, they changed my room twice, at the end I asked for a clean room, the receptionist just said “man all rooms are the same, I can only changed it one more time, but all rooms are the same, so helpless. Will never come back to this place, such a waste of money.

Asked for sizzors to cut open my kids sand toys they said the didnt keep sharp objects on the property so bring sizzors if needed,and a air mattress cause the pull out couch was horrible can feel every spring and paper thin.we went and purchased a air mattress after 1 night of our stay.

The highest ratings I can give is for location and staff friendliness. Definitely needs upgrading and attention to repairs in rooms. Also the biggest complaint in the rooms was the condition of the bed linen. Every piece on both beds were stained, not just the odd spot but large stains. Luckily we had blankets in our car which we were able to use. Owners need to start thinking about the big picture of repeat business and stay on top of making these repairs and upgrades as they are sitting on potential gold mines with just a bit more care put into the game.

The parking was fine, however I wasn't informed by the hotel of the event that restricted getting in and out of the parking.

It was a nice stay and beautiful views. Cons were vending machine for snacks wouldn't take out dollars and pool wasn't open yet. Ill never understand why all the resorts dont open up till memorial day when we've had some good hot days. Also has kitchen-net but no pots pans dishes....and not enought coffee!! All in all id recommend this place to stay. Parking is tight but expected. Thank you for having us!!

The staff was nice when they were there , however , the rooms were less than desirable even if we were just there for sleeping. The floors were so dirty that our feet were black, the pull out bed/couch had food crumbs and a sunny d bottle in it from previous guest, neither tv worked, and our door had over an inch crack at the top even when locked at latched. The pool had no water in it and no notice was given that Saturday the main road would be shut down from 7am - noon due to a massive running event. The staff was helpful when we could not get a parking spot when returning at night and was quick to retrieve clean towels when asked.

The view was great. The 1st room we were given the microwave and phone didn’t work. The 2nd room we were put in had no dishes for the kitchenette. No sheets for the pull out sofa and the pullout sofa was all coils/springs. It was completely uncomfortable. There was no door knob on the other side of the door so we couldn’t close the bedroom door. One of the worst stays I’ve had. I had to wipe down everything with Clorox wipes. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The couch was dirty and we refused to sit on it without a blanket over it.

It was a cheap hotel. Was given a keycard and it didn’t work. Went back was put in another room that had 2 full size beds when we reserved a king. The bedroom door lock was missing. You could close the door but it wouldn’t latch and you couldn’t lock it. The bed was not comfortable at all. You could feel the springs in the bed.

The floors turned my families feet black with and without socks. Other than that the room was perfect for a family weekend get away.

The lobby smelled like urine. Unwashed bathroom towels. No closet in the room. My room smelled so bad I had keep the doors and windows open. No cookware in the room even though we rented a room with kitchen. I canceled my reservation

Looks and feels very unsafe completely, my room door (405)couldnt close all the way the lock was also tampered with, no hot water at all, and the air hardly worked. I really let my family down trying to go to the beachfront. I will never revisit this situation.

I loved the view from the balcony, It was perfect… the only thing that was likable The door was damaged on the first room, only 2 towels in the room & asked for more & was denied any… The pool is at the front with no water in it. Room wasn’t the cleanest…. huge dent in the fridge… A/C wasn’t on upon arrival so pretty warm room when getting there… water didn’t get hot in the shower…

It was a let down and an unsafe feeling. Especially on the beach front. There is no excuse.

Conveniently located on the ocean front, watching the sunrise, and the staff was very accommodating because I was not satisfied with the first room that they gave me, so they gave me another room and offered late checkout at no expense. It was a great price for what was given. Don’t get me wrong, It wasn’t horrible, it just wasn’t what I expected. The outside noise and the fact that it’s advertised as a hotel suite and not a motel suite. I don’t typically book motel rooms so I was thrown off when I arrived at the property.

The only perk I give this place is the location, you can’t beat it for the price. But it didn’t outweigh the conditions of the place. Very rundown, the room had dirty sheets/towels, a dirty floor, dirty microwave, just everything dirty. The beds feel like concrete. The staff wasn’t horrible and adhere to some requests (fixing the televisions, providing clean linens, etc). THE BEST part was the balcony view. We did enjoy that part. This place needs a lot of work just to meet mediocre standards. It somewhat worked for what we needed but we won’t be returning.

This place is NOT like the picture's. It is disgusting, with all the nastiest kind of people staying - and leaving "things" behind. Staff does not clean anything - beds are stained - sheets are stained - couches are stained, dont dare look at what they leave in the cavity of the pullout couchbed. Steer Clear

Then there were the noise. There were several party groups that booked a stay at the same time and they were LOUD. Not just talking and having a good time, I mean screaming bloody mary inside their rooms and we heard it all night because the main room doors had a crack on the bottom that let every single noise through. Could not sleep until they finally settled down at 3am. Sure, we can't control other guests, but these doors could've been fixed in a way to at least muffle some noise. Then the elevator was slow, shaky, and honestly sketchy. Would not stay here again, especially for the price.

One of them had a burnt out electrical socket that was visible along with dirty sheets and a dirty toilet seat, the next room had a light socket that wasn’t even secured as well as a hole in the door that you can reach through and the third one wasn’t much better. The front desk guy in the afternoon was pleasant, the one in the evening was not

this was the most horrifying horrific trip to this hotel number one we get there around 10:30 at night that I check in they give me a key card to one room. I go try to unlock it. It doesn’t work. I figured OK well maybe it’s just a bad key went downstairs. They remade the key went back upstairs. The key still wouldn’t work went downstairs again. Finally, the clerk says we’ll go open the door. He goes open. The door comes to find out there’s already someone sleeping in that room. He’s on the phone talking to someone then he gives us another room the room that he gives us first of all has huge rat traps take in mind. I’m on this trip with my children ages one year-old to 10-year-old. The room was extremely dirty. The blankets were dirty. The blankets either had blood or feces on them. I’m not sure the air conditions did not work properly. It was just horrible horrible horrible this hotel used to be pretty decent, but I do not know what has changed, but it was the most disgusting experience. The people at the front desk were more concerned about what they had going on personally on their phones and tablets they did not care about making this hotel, clean or making the guest feel comfortable I mean it’s sad because they have invested some money in putting updated mirrors with lights and Bluetooth and but you can’t slap lipstick on a pig and call it a model like that doesn’t work like that

The good. Great location! Full ocean views. The staff I interacted with were very nice and accommodating. The bad. Rooms are pretty loud. Just mean that you can hear everything happening outside the room. There is a cooktop, but nothing you need to cook or eat. Not that big of a deal. Just bring stuff with you if you plan to cook or eat in the room.

The view was incredible and the bed was very comfortable. Clean and spacious. Even though it was windy the balcony was definitely lovely. I enjoyed the sixth floor view of the sunrise over the ocean and watching the horse rides down the shoreline of the beach!

The lobby immediately told me all I needed to know. However since that’s where I booked originally I was willing to give it a chance. It wasn’t until I got to my room I noticed holes in he ceiling of the bathroom, dirty left behind food or toe nails along the bed side frame, and a broken light bulbs that had hanging wires. Bare bones, but fine. The building is worn and dated, but bathroom was updated. Beds were a bit uncomfortable and very squeaky, but the room did the trip for a short weekend trip when we didn't need much.

Never had I had a bad experience in a hotel like this one. The curtain had blood stain mold on it. The couch smelt so bad it has so much stain on the cushions when we pulled out the sofa couch the smell was worse it had stains on so bad. The sheets were disgusting seems like nobody probably washed the sheets on the bed the air conditioning had so much dust on it seems like nobody had clean in years. We left because it was just so bad. Mind you when we first checked in we just drop our stuff and took a walk because we wanted to check out the area so we got back and that’s when we discovered all this. The front desk person responded when we ask can we get a refund or how would go about it is we could have gave you sheets for the sofa couch. How do you expected a guests to sleep on a mattress that has nasty stain and a bad smell to it

The front desk agents were extremely helpful and understanding. My stay was due to house renovation and they made checking in and anything else I needed very easy during a very stressful situation.

The location of the hotel was awesome. the room layout was great. The beds were very comfortable The cleanliness and the amenities left MUCH to be desired however. The overall condition of the building made me think their maintenance people had ADHD and were simply unable to finish any job completely. Example - bathroom had a lovely pedestal sink and well lighted vanity mirror, with two holes in the wall right next to it. Again, GREAT location and if that's all you want, this is the place for you. :)

It was a nice ocean view. But in one of my rooms the shower did not work and the toilet flushed slow. In the other room there was no hand soap, lotion, shampoo, or body was. There was dirt on the side of the sink and the cabinets were dirty with old cereal.

Very shop worn overall in terms of the motel itself and the room. Dingy. The $ 30.00 "resort fee that you have to pay upon arrival is a joke. It is a rip off from start to finish. Graffiti on walls and furniture along with stained couch and bedding sheets that were present upon our arrival. There was also no table provided for the two chairs to eat from if we were to have actually used the dirty kitchen appliances. The shower curtain and rod were very rusty and dirty along with the grout that badly needed replaced. We could never have know this condition was this bad prior to arriving so could not have cancelled 3 days early based on this. We insist this be refunded entirely so we do not need to take this matter to the BBB and building code inspectors. Simply having the integrity as a business owner to make this terrible experience right would be the best thing you could do for us. Would definitely NEVER recommend this place under it’s current ownership until they invest in making the much needed repairs and cleaning before they keep your money for a room we couldn't stay in.

The beach view was obstructed. We stayed in a room where the hotel next-door extended out closer to the boardwalk, we were notable to see anything to the left view to the right was the same way. Basically if you had tunnel vision, this would have worked for you. When we arrived the front door and locks were loose, windows were filthy so were the drapes and the bathroom curtain. The small couch was also extremely stained and uncomfortable. The beds in the room or extremely noisy and the mattresses were filthy. No utensils or supplies to cook in the kitchen . I would not recommend staying here to anyone who values cleanliness and professional staff working the front desk. Which weren’t even there most of the time. We stayed there a week . There were no refunds available and they charged us a $90 resort fee for those conditions. No pool availability because it was cold and the lobby was far from inviting. Long story short I wouldn’t stay there again if they offered it to me for free. It was a very uncomfortable situation. On the bright side Denny, who was in housekeeping was absolutely delightful and quite professional. Very different from the front office staff.

There were no refunds available and they charged us a $90 resort fee for those conditions. No pool availability because it was cold and the lobby was far from inviting. Long story short I wouldn’t stay there again if they offered it to me for free. It was a very uncomfortable situation. On the bright side Denny, who was in housekeeping was absolutely delightful and quite professional. Very different from the front office staff.

Was put in room 410. New COX cable boxes were installed and the one in the bedroom didn't have the correct power supply (old single round plug, new box was USB-C) Told front desk. Shower wouldn't produce hot water, just very lukewarm. If you cut the handle on all at once, you would get one sudden burst of hot water and then it was gone. Sink water had steam coming off it. Told front desk the following morning to add for maintenance to look at, was told they would be in at 0830. Left for about 4 hours, came back and checked. No power supply, no hot water. Was told to let it run for 20mins.... still no hot water. Was moved to room 409. Beds were old and hard, pull out couch was bent in the middle. Had hot water and TV, toilet wouldnt flush correctly. There was a Pepsi can in the toilet tank, that had been there for a while. I removed it and got the toilet working correctly. The owners or managers were great in attending to the issues, but wow....

This hotel is a dump. Trash, underwear, dirty laundry in stairwells. Shower head, faucet, light switches hanging off the wall. Reception couldn't be hardly bothered to do much. We won't be back.

Got up the next morning to take a shower and the hot water didn’t work. This place used to be nice now I wouldn’t put my worst enemy here to stay. Unless you want a dive to have your beach adventure stay away from this place.

Had to switch rooms because first one was not clean, stains on sofa, trash on furniture. Broken table, Dirty floors, no dishes, dirty fridge, sand everywhere, broken balcony door, limited TV access, tv interruptions, no full size table to eat on, no linens (had to ask), no ironing board nor iron, phone didn’t work, limited elevator accessibility, only one main entrance, tight parking, cooktop no cookware or utensils, dirty and limited cabinet/drawer space. Will not be going back again

The housekeepers were very friendly, but we ended up leaving after one night because it was very dirty and was concerned to continue staying there.

The only thing good about this hotel is that it's right on the beach. It's an older hotel, with not many modern conveniences. The fridge and coffee maker didn't work in our room, and the beds are small (double beds).

The smell and wetness could easily turn a different family off, but we were only in our room to sleep, and all we had to do was turn the a/c on for the water to go away. I would book the stay again for the oceanfront balcony and amount of space!

This was literally the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. Idk how the reviews i read were good for this place. The beds were like boards. The pullout bed had mold on it, didnt realize til we left and possibly why my son got sick. There were no sheeta or blankets for the pullout and the mattress for it was super thin. They had no other ones so they gave us 4 blankets to put under the sheet. Like really. I had to buy a foanlm mattress at walmart so the kids could sleep. The balcony was dirty and had stepped on gum stuck to it. And the air-conditioners from above were leaking on to our balcony. Ours was leaking outside and inside. I have never stayed in a hotel like this. And all rooms were the same. This was a $1300 room this was like a $500 room. And the pool could only accommodate 22 people and idk if it was cleaned everyday. Ruined my vacation.

The location is amazing. That’s it. Pull out sofa flat/basically destroyed. Pool small and gross- hall way smelled entire hotel smelled like weed. Find somewhere else to stay!

We liked that it has beach view. It is affordable for its location being at the boardwalk. However, the sofa bed was terrible. We could feel the springs of the bed and it creaked every time we moved. We didn’t get good sleep from that and got back pains. The room has small kitchen with stove, microwave, and fridge, but no pans or pots you can use to cook. If you want to cook, bring your own pots/pans/plates/silverware. Another thing is that it only has one elevator and one luggage cart. My husband waited for about 30minutes before he could come down with our luggage on the cart. Also, only one of the entrance double doors opened, which made it hard to bring in and out the cart with luggage.

Upon arrival the room was filthy, only beds made. Talked to front office, they did send up two people and they did clean the room. The toilet never flushed correctly and we had “power flush” ourselves. The tv in the bedroom never worked. Housekeeping never restocked towels or toilet paper. Elevator was super slow and used the stairs more, but with a disabled daughter it was more difficult for her. The parking was horrendous. On top of already tight parking, there were homeless people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Management was advised of this and they did nothing about it. Pros: AC was nice and cold. Water pressure was great, but water temperature fluctuation was bad; it would go from freezing to scalding without touching it. Location was great. Balconies were dirty but great size and view. We are extremely understanding and we made the best of our vacation, but would not return for the price.

The hotel was very dated, but clean. Staff was friendly. Parking was slightly difficult due to the setup of the back lot and I highly recommend backing into a parking space for easy exit. Easy access to everything and beachfront. Overall a positive experience.

We spent our first night doing some shopping and then walking down the beach. We got back late so by the time we opened up the sofa bed and realized it had no linens it was probably 10pm. Went down to the front desk because we couldn't call, and no one was there for quite a while. Finally someone comes and we get linens but he can only give us one pillow because that's all he has. The room had a view of the ocean which is what I wanted and is close to the shops and boardwalk, but it's very crammed in and you can tell this is one of the cheaper hotels on the strip.

Only 1 elevator and no bike rack to tie up bikes. Other than that it was ok.

The beds were comfortable but the pullout couch could use a new mattress. The service was great, AC was not working and we had someone fixing it within a few minutes. Got more fresh towels when asked, even tho I feel like a room made for six people should have six towels in it. Overall, it was a good experience and we would not mind staying there again.

The rooms, location, and services are okay, but there is a bad smell in the corners and stairwells. The outside balcony is old and dirty, and there is also a loud noise coming from the outdoor AC unit.

The mattress on the pull out was completely worn out, but otherwise was a decent place to stay.

The room itself was huge and beautiful view.

The staff, especially the maids, were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which added a nice touch to the experience. That said, there were a few downsides. The bathtub had visible mold around the silicone, which was a bit off-putting. Also, the bed frames are made of metal and made a lot of noise anytime you moved — not ideal for a comfortable night’s sleep. Parking is another issue; it’s very tight and your spot isn’t guaranteed, even though you’re staying at the hotel. In the end, you get what you pay for. It’s not a luxury stay, but if you’re mainly looking for an affordable oceanfront spot with a great location, this place gets the job done.

This property is not ADA at all. They do have handicap parking but it’s first come first serve. With this being said the rooms are good size and you are able to get a small wheelchair in to the bathroom. Bring your own shower chair. Everything else was great. Overall it was worth the price. Easy access to the beach. The outlet for the microwave did not work. Some of the sheets had some questionable stains. We didnt have enough towels and when we asked for more we were told they didnt have any. (This was just for showering we brought our own beach towels) the pull out bed was the most uncomfortable thing ive ever slept on. But it was a nice view and easy walk to the beach. I would stay again for convenience purposes.

This is a 2-star hotel, it was concrete walls Beach hotel. Don't expect it to be something its not. Overall it was a great value for what we paid. Oceanfront with a beach view and balcony in mid-season. It was great to have the extra space; separate bedroom from living space so our little one could take a nap or go to bed early. There's no carpet so none of the sand can hide, it was pretty clean on arrival but as soon as you walk through the parking lot and unload your stuff sand is coming in with you. It was great to have the larger fridge and freezer as well as stove top. Everything worked, the AC had trouble keeping up mid afternoon sometimes but it was 95 out, if you keep the bedroom do close it stayed pretty cool back there. There was no table, the patio door wouldn't latch unless it was locked. We didn't have any issues with bugs on the balcony. I would suggest bring a swiffer sweeper, bug spray and a folding table.

We asked for towels multiple days and times throughout the day and they could not give us any. How horrible to be at the beach all sandy and sweaty and not be able to take a shower we had to literally go out and buy towels. We asked if the room could be cleaned because again you’re at the beach there is sand everywhere and the answer was no. I asked for several trashed bags because we were there for 7 days imagine the trash, well I was told I could only have 1. Then I asked for a broom and dust pan and I was told I could only use a broom. They only have 1 small elevator that barely even fit our family inside and it took forever to get on. I will never stay here again.

I like the ocean front property being able to watch the sunrise from the balcony. Also very spacious with separate bedroom with living room and kitchen areas combined. My only complaint is that you have to ask for clean towels daily and if you want housekeeping to comein you have to ask for that as well. Overall great place to stay!

The shower was out of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Towels had stains on them. Building seems old and not taken care of.

The front door looked like someone tried to break in.. The bath tub was peeling. My family stayed for 3days and they gave us a hard time about replacing toilet paper, towels and rags.

Pros.The staff is so nice. Its very convenient with everything near by. Pretty ocean view. Cons. We had to clean the room ourselves. The microwave wasn't cleaned out nor the bath tub. The tub had hair in it. The walls was gross we had to wipe it down ourselves. The toilet had fieces on the seat. And the floors need mopped badly with new mops. The pool isn't really clean. Lastly there is no do not disturb sign to put on the door. Now I know everything I said in the cons is bad don't get me wrong they seem very under staff and are trying to make it as good as they can but I can see this hotel becoming great with time and with more staff. They have a great hot spot I do recommend it, if you're on a budget.

It was dirty, the rags were dirty, the floors weren’t swept, there was all kinds of dirt on the beds. We asked to see others rooms and they were just as dirty so we asked for a refund and they refused. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL. 0/10 experience

If you’re not looking for anything fancy then this place will work fine. Good location if you’re going to frequent the beach. Housekeeping was by request, and we had to inquire at the front desk for fresh towels. AC was ice cold and beach views are great. Pool was clean and well maintained. Overall a good stay.

Upon arrival, the hotel immediately gave off an unsettling first impression. The exterior and common areas felt neglected, and the absence of a proper lobby—paired with only a single, slow elevator—set the tone for what was to come. It was clear from the start that this hotel was a hotel we were not used to. Our initial room felt unclean, with the beds in particular raising concern. To the hotel's credit, staff responded promptly and offered us a new room. Unfortunately, the second room, while slightly better, still lacked the level of cleanliness and comfort we hoped for. Rather than escalate the issue further, we opted to purchase our own cleaning supplies and took matters into our own hands to make the space feel more livable. Over time, we managed to adjust and appreciate some of the positives. The staff remained helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. However, despite their efforts, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. This may be a suitable choice for those seeking very basic accommodations on a strict budget—but personally, I would not choose to return.

Close to the beach

The hotel was clean, but things were broken and looked disgusting. The double beds were comfortable, but the pull-out was horrible. You could feel every single spring, which caused me to check out earlier than I was supposed to. The view of the ocean was beautiful. Never booking here again.

What I liked was that the rooms are comfortable and the balcony has a good view, but what I didn’t like was that there was no good management and the halls were dirty.

The room was so dirty , floor, bed, couch , no staff at all .. I had to clean the room every day sheets where dirty , I will never go back to that hotel ever . Food on the floor between rooms in stairways…

I would not recommend anyone go to this motel it is the worse place I ever seen in my whole entire life of living no clean towels wash clothes or room I will say it again do not go to this place

Room was great with amazing view of the ocean. Only problem was the bathroom door did not lock and the remotes for the tvs did not work.

Ghetto staff and guest

When we arrive to check in the parking was terrible from the start. It was 16 spaces to accommodate 16 rooms (terrible) So it was 5 adults on this stay and 1 came from a different location so they drove. Now we got to go find parking for their car and couldn't pay for an extra parking pass at our hotel. Then as I'm checking in there's another family talking how disappointed they was and felt catfish by the appearance of the hotel and their beds was nasty. And the lady checking me in is just staring at me watching my reaction and all I can say is hope my room isn't nasty. So I get to my room after getting off this tiny little heat box they call an elevator that holds maybe 3 people. Everything appears to be fine. Beds, bathroom, and refrigerator seems good. And then later on that night the one thing I did not check and evidently the housekeeper didn't either...The sofa bed!!! I pulled out the bed and there was bloody sheets on the pull out with chips and other trash in the bed. On top of that I was told to come to the front desk and pick up some clean sheets to change the bed. I'm so confused because I came here as a guest onvacation and now you want me to do the job your housekeeper didn't do. There was no management on duty. I was told hell be there first thing in the morning. And I still haven't been able to talk to a manager. I will NEVER stay at The Marjec Suites again and wouldn't refer anyone else to stay as well.

Unfortunately, Not great at all. Our door didn’t have a bolt, pullout bed was horrible, bathroom faucet was broken, safe was broken, sheets were stained, TV didn’t work, smelled like weed the entire time. Pool looked gross. Took a trip to target to buy blankets, we were not going to use the ones on bed. Would never stay there ever again especially with kids. Way too expensive and not worth the money at all! It should be called a motel and not suites. We left a day early, couldn’t stay another night there. Not a fan of the hotel or Virginia Beach and never going back.

Beautiful place

We loved that the hotel was right on the beach and that all rooms face the ocean. The bedroom was separate from the living area, which was great. Looks recently updated.

Cons & why its not a 4/5 star: The rooms were crudy given the expectation set & presented via photos on this wbesite. They have the audacity to charge a resort fee for a motel/hostel that only had one tiny elevator for all six levels to use during a very busy, hot, Juneteenth weekend w/ several music events in the surrounding area. There was a broken floating nightstand laying on the floor of the bedroom by the door when we first walked in (we told them but they didnt bother getting it.).The couch / pull out sofa had food and other unusual "stains" on it. I had to clean the fridge from grime and there was food that was left from previous occupants in the cabinets. The TV in the living room stopped working in day 2 of our stay, they "patched" the issue but by next day it stopped playing again. Depsite the "meh" experience, its a fairly decent hotel if u plan to stay outside all day & crash in ur bed at night. So if u do decide to stay at this oceanfront, make sure to bring kitchenware & utensils, maybe an air mattress... Clorox Wipes & trashbags... and other forms of entertainment on ur chill day in case of small hiccups.

I don’t like the hotel room so Darry
