We got there. Check-in time at 4 o'clock. It took an hour and a half to get a room the room was fairly clean, but the bedding didn't clean i don't think that it was at the standards.of hampton inn

One feature I particularly appreciated was the smart TV, which included access to streaming services such as Netflix. This was especially convenient for families traveling with children. I have stayed at other luxury hotels that did not offer smart TVs or streaming options, so having this amenity significantly enhanced my experience. It was a thoughtful feature that added both convenience and entertainment during my stay. I was somewhat disappointed with the breakfast offerings, particularly given the standards I expected from a luxury hotel. The eggs lacked flavor and were not prepared to the quality I anticipated. The potatoes were inconsistent; while they were acceptable on some days, on other occasions they were overly salty despite appearing well-prepared. Overall, I expected a higher level of quality, consistency, and variety in the breakfast menu.

Great property, right on the oceanfront. Very easy to find, and parking was not a problem in their parking lot. Arrived late but staff were available to check us in quickly. The room was spacious, clean, and included all the usual amenities. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean with uninterrupted views. It was certainly a great way to start your day waking up to that view! Breakfast was enough and served in a bright and airy space. A gap in the balcony door frame let in a lot of cold air as it was a really windy night when we stayed there. The air-conditioning unit was loud so we ended up turning it off, but with all that cold air streaming in we didn't really need it! It was good enough for a single night stay, but if we had more time in that room, I would have complained. Parking cost was a bit steep, considering it's their own parking lot without any form of security, but ok for one night. At least we had a parking spot guaranteed.

Also, it was closed until 4 while we were there and not many patrons for dinner. All in all it's now our go to hotel because it's dog friendly and the ground floor rooms.

- The fact that you have to pay for parking even thought im staying at the hotel. Also, that charge is subject to tax AND A CREDIT CARD FEE OF $4 just for using the card. - The restaurant inside of location also charged me a resort FEEE and a Debit card FEE. -Rooms are showing their age. There was rust coming down from the top of balcony AND tile was broken on balcony when we arrived (hazard on both issues) the rails are starting to peel its paint off. The transaction between carpet and hardwood floor inside room has about a 1/2 inch difference causing toes and feet to smash against hardwood floor. - Pool not properly maintained, also license of pool is expired since last month.- I received a text the 2nd day of our stay by establishment asking how we were liking our stay. I told responded and told them that it was a 2 out of 5. Myrna asked what time was a good time yo call me to discuss my dissatisfaction and i responded with a 9am the following day. Till today Myrna has NOT reached out. We've been traveling since January of this year and this was the last location we visited. Not even overseas did I encounter a CC transaction fee or paid for parking while staying at the hotel.

Rooms were not cleaned well. We found a soiled stained pillow upon arrival and hair left behind on the bathroom counter. There was no housekeeping done for the entirety of our four night stay. The property needs updating. The blackout curtains had holes on them. The only redeeming factor about this hotel is the location.

I like that it had a pool and downstairs bar. Pizza was good. My vent cover in the bathroom fell off. The front desk person told me that someone was going to come and fix it but no one came and fix it.

I loved staying at the property. We had a wonderful time.

The property was nice. Great location. The breakfast options were delicious and serving staff was very nice and professional. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful also. The property was clean and well taken care of. I was in my daughter’s hotel room and the cover to the fan in the bathroom just randomly fell in the floor. Staff took the cover and was going to have the engineer replace it the next day but no one ever came to fix it.

The staff was very helpful and kind. I was able to check in an hour early. Breakfast was a good variety. The view of the beach/ocean was perfect. The room was clean. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the pool was small.

It was the weekend of the shamrock Marathon and this reservation started off badly. We got a call the night before our arrival to tell us that our reserved room (king size) was no longer available and we were being switched to an accessible double room. I spoke with Alexia and told her that this sounds like someone is trying to get their friend into a room. She handled the issue well and we were able to have the room we booked. The hotel itself was fine and once we arrived they were bending over backwards to keep us happy. We received a call while on our way from the airport that our room was ready and then several calls during our stay to make sure we were happy with our stay. Overall our stay was great, just a tad frustrating in the beginning.

Ocean view, breakfast, and staff were wonderful. However, we booked under the impression we had a full kitchen in the room, as was stated in the description when we booked. Unfortunately all we had was a sink, microwave and fridge (no freezer). We would have chose another location if we knew this beforehand.

Oceanfront location, great shower and good breakfast. Could have been cleaner in common areas. Staff could have been more guest friendly. Disappointed that there was no coffee/tea in the evenings and super annoyed with the $20 + tax parking fee in the winter in an empty parking lot.

Warm welcome from staff, clean comfortable room, oceanfront with a balcony, very dog friendly, easy parking, quiet atmosphere and occasionally warm cookies. We stay here twice a year for the last few years. It's our go to place to land with our small pups. Many military flyovers during the day if you enjoy watching those and a free morning sunrise.

it was nice to have an ocean view but the inconveniences start at the front desk with a lengthy and terrible check in process. the people at the front desk didn’t have a friendly attitude during check in and we kept having to run back and forth to the car in the pouring rain with a toddler. and then their card systems didn’t work… so then we get up to the room which is clean so that’s nice. but the ac motor was going out so it squealed all night, among a couple other issues with the room. we will not be staying here. for the price you’d think it be nice.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel is great. The one downside was that we stayed for three nights and did not get any maid service during our stay.

Front desk staff MiMi was extremely helpful and very nice to me and my family. She was very supportive and very nice. The kids enjoyed the room view beach and pool. The food in the restaurant was good as breakfast was included. The housekeeping staff were helpful and courteous . Will definitely stay again!

The stay was good. Staff was nice and professional. The only concern was the animals sitting in the dining chairs on the patio. I found that to be unsanitary because I’m sure the chairs are not cleaned after each use.

I was in room 615 with my stay with you guys I had someone on the floor above my wife and l that stomp on the floors over the 3 nights of our stay which kept us from sleeping.

It was great as far as getting to the beach we were on the bottom level and was able to walk right out our room to it. But as far as the service we had to go and get clean towels everyday. Never came to clean room until 5 days after we were there 8days. We also had to go get toilet paper. We had to take our trash out every day. Being at the ocean every day and there were four of us it was very inconvenient . We really didn't have to have room cleaned every day but could of checked on the toiletries supply to make sure there was clean towels,hand towels and floor towel and toilet paper without us having to go get it . Also the kitchen staff for breakfast was pretty rude. They could of had better attitudes.

We really didn't have to have room cleaned every day but could of checked on the toiletries supply to make sure there was clean towels,hand towels and floor towel and toilet paper without us having to go get it . Also the kitchen staff for breakfast was pretty rude. They could of had better attitudes.

Hotel is located in a nice spot. Not impossible to drive in and out of. Very calm and relaxed.

Good assortment for the continental breakfast with plenty of seating! Room was comfortable for a few night stay. We did find someone else’s stuff behind one of the tables but overall it was clean!

My husband and I stayed here, second year in a row due to the excellent customer service, location and breakfast. And we will be back next year! Because of such a great impression in July 2024, we have made it our staple. Thank you all SO much!

Customer service was excellent! Out double Queen oceanfront view was spectacular from Neptune being in full view, waves and all under the light of a full moon weekend!

Easy walking distance from the beach and attractions

I was disappointed that the pool was closed and that there were so few amenities for children. Hotel was "tired," but I'm sure there is constant traffic. The outlets didnt work well because the cords constantly fell out of sockets. Only food was a small pizza cafe.

The beds are firm. Breakfast was good and kept stocked. Location is great! The pool has been closed the past few days.

The location of this property was perfect! Sunrises were spectacular! Breakfast was also very tasty and while there was a core option you still had choices of fruit, yogurt, waffles and bagels. Parking on site should be included in your stay and I wish the onsite restaurant offered more than pizza, salads and sandwiches. The pool, though warm and covered is a bit too small for such a property. Despite the nuances I had a lovely time here!

Oceanfront with great staff.

I loved the breakfast in the morning time. The room was very clean. I loved waking up to the sunrise each morning. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel next year.

Beautiful property with everything my son and I needed for our stay! The ocean view was gorgeous, the room clean and comfortable with the amenities we needed. The staff is lovely, patient and extremely helpful and understanding. We had a very nice time!

The checkin was okay as they didnt have any tooms available. The room view qaa beautiful however the celing begin to leak one hour into the stay. Only to end up falling in around 4am. I was told i would be compensate for two of the nights out of 4. One was granted. Overall My baby celebrated her 5th bday and was extremely happy so thats all that matters.

Maintenance staff were so nice!! Front desk needed to explain more about wifi, parking. Room was clean. My husband said his side on the bed was soft and he felt like he was going to fall on the floor when he rolled over! New mattress in order!

Pool was very dirty. Room was nice but not worth the price I paid. I could get a suite elsewhere for the price i paid. Plus had to pay parking which was ridiculous. Probably won't stay there again.

This hotel is a 10/10. The staff were extremely friendly. The property is extremely clean and well kept. Our room was great, oceanfront with amazing view. Was able to sit on the balcony and watch dolphins swim by. Hot breakfast daily with an outdoor dining patio. Would definitely recommend!!

Everything was great except at check-in when I approached my room, everything was left open, the room door was wedged open and all the drawers were pulled out. It appeared to be clean was just caught off guard. I called to the front desk to ensure the room was not occupied by another guest and reassured me that the room had been clean and passed their inspection and there was no other guest occupying the room. I asked could I move to another room but was told that they were completely booked. Also, the elevators are super slow. It was overall a nice hotel, the food was good at the attached restaurant and everything was within walking distance

Nice place,

Able to have an early check in and a late check out. Stored our luggage until the room was ready and stored our luggage until we left for the airport.

Everything was good but the indoor pool that was supposed to be heated was never heated. It was freezing, tried to asked them about it but just kept getting the ' it takes time to be heated ' response. Been there for 3 days and it was not heated not even warm.

It seemed to be in the middle of everything at Virginia Beach (on the beach, adjacent to the boardwalk and bike lanes) and yet, seemed to be fairly quiet. I loved the full breakfast which is included in the stay and the opportunity to get a wide variety of pizza's and other food and drinks in the afternoon and evening. It is a family friendly option!

It was nice to walk out to the boardwalk from the room. I reserved a room with a pull out sofa as we had 4 people. Sleeping arrangements for my granddaughter was not feasible and she was very unconformable. I paid for a room with a balcony/pull out sofa. They called to tell me they had to put me on the first floor and comp'd our $20.00 parking fee. However, when we arrived and it did not have a pull out sofa and the area outside the sliding glass door had chewed up food. They brought a roll away bed, which did help with one of my granddaughters sleeping, but not the other. I also asked for blankets and all that was brought were sheets. There was no compensation made and I paid over $400 for that one night. It was disappointing. All in all it was disappointing, other then being able to watch the fireworks.

Clean rooms free breakfast

Next to the 31st street stage which some people may like but was a bit annoying for background noise. We had our kids staying in a pull out bed and there was lots of gross food bits from prior guests inside when we lifted the cushions. Prior guests had set a bunch of alarms that kept waking us up at like 430/5am so I would urge housekeeping to make a point of disabling those when turning over room.

Staff was friendly and professional. Cleaning staff and custodians were so nice and pleasant.

If driving bigger vehicles, parking can be a little challenging when trying to fit in a parking spot. Other than that we loved our stay! Hotel staff were nice and welcoming.

Easy to get to. Within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping, etc. Room has a great view and was clean. Balcony is hot from AC unit. Hotel only has an indoor pool and as a certified pool operator, it just looked nasty! Also wish there had been a place to rinse off my sandy feet outside the hotel when I returned from the beach. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

Front staff was friendly and helpful. They do allow dogs but seemed like they kept them all on the same floor from what I could tell by sharing the elevator with them. Indoor pool was nice since it was so hot outside while we were there. It’s a little on the small side but still nice to have. The breakfast was good and well stocked. The beds were comfy and the room was clean

Clean. Comfortable. LOVED front desk team. But housekeeping not so much. Both soap dispensers empty despite requesting a refill twice never happened.

Loved staying here! The service was quick with no issues checking in or finding the place. The room is pretty typical. Love that it was on the boardwalk and being able to get out to the water quickly. The only issues were not having enough food options at the pizza place and the indoor pool really needs an update to cancel out the noise. It was overwhelmingly loud.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and faced the beach and boardwalk which was fun. The room had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable. The location of the property was perfect for going directly out to the beach or walking down the road along the beachfront.

Bathroom fan not working properly

One person working front desk and answering phones, seemed very overworked. Waited in a line of 5 people, another worker walked by and said she will get to you soon and went back into the office. Terrible Service, room seemed older and not well kept up.

This was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back! It was in the perfect location. Hotel was very nice and clean. All workers were super helpful. We had so much fun here and the kids loved the pool!

Two things, the concierge desk was slow with one person on a Saturday and the floors were extremely wet due to the pool being so close to the foyer. Even though there were caution signs but just too wet for a busy area.

The $20 parking is a bit ridiculous should be included in the room fee

Hotel is in a nice area with parking on site. The room for the price, I expected more. The bugs coming with the sliding glass door closed was the worse of it all. I had to buy raid at the local walmart. The bed was hard and you could feel springs in your side. The water and air worked great so that's a positive.

Front desk was great especially Kol. Door neeeded to be fixed and it was taken car of within an hour. Restaurant though need a lot of improvements.
