The location. It was halfway to our destination Walls were paper thin. We could hear everyone in the hallway, outside and next door. The bathtub had hair and toothpaste in it.

Only things worth visiting this hotel for is: the pool, "hot tub/spa", and the 3 free drinks they served with dinner for the 21+ guests.. The beds claimed to be Queen/King but slept like twin/full size. Had a thermostat in the room, but never worked, it stayed hot the whole time. Vehicle got broken into, but couldn't do anything about it because the cameras were covered by tree limbs.. when swimming in the pool/hot tub, be sure to bring a bathing suit, it is SUPER chlorined and bleaches your stuff otherwise.. it should have been called the DREARY Hotel, not the Drury..

Great location off of I-75. Breakfast was good. If you arrive by 5:30 PM you can eat from the buffet. Our overnight stay was quiet. I would definitely stay at this location again!

I truly enjoyed the welcoming staff. Every member I encountered had a great personality and treated me with the utmost respect. Your establishment is the first I’ve ever encountered that had a snack and drink night on the house. A great choice for me and I will stay there again. It was difficult to get the room at a comfortable temperature. Still, not a deal breaker for me to look forward to staying there again.

Good assortment of breakfast foods ... something for everyone! Hours are great for early risers who want a hearty breakfast before hitting the road again! Accessible rooms are often only available for early bookings. Offering more rooms with showers -- including hoses and shower benches -- instead of just tubs would be great

We stayed as a stopping point on our way to vacation and will definitely be making this our norm! The staff was amazing - super helpful and kind! The rooms were nice and accommodated our family of 4 nicely! Our kids loved the pool and the breakfast was the best we’ve ever seen at a hotel! Definitely recommend this hotel!!

Our room was clean and comfortable, the hotel staff was great, we have stay left here many times, we love the kick back drinks & food, and we look forward to swimming at the pool before bed. But this time the pool area and juccuzzi was closed, so we were disappointed a bit, that is the only reason why it's not 4 stars this time. We did not know why it was closed but we were offered to cancel our reservation at check in. But that was not really an option l. We still enjoyed our stay, and will return again.

Beautiful hotel, I've stayed here several times. Traveling with grandchildren, we stay here for the pool and hot tub. The pool was closed our entire visit. We were told "the pump went out". I would think with a hotel full of guests, in the height of travel season, maintenance would have a back- up. Nothing like grabbing the kids and heading to the pool to find it closed.

Everything was top notch other than the Trim in the shower. Plumbing was rough-ed in wrong and it looks bad. Shower curtain rod did not have proper anchors and was falling down. Needs fixed to avoid a potential law suite. But other than that it was absolutely amazing! Definitely a deal at $190

Why could that not have been emailed earlier but frankly after driving 14 hours it’s too late for a change. I was disappointed in the bedding the beds were extremely firm and only had 3 small pillows per bed, for a family of 4 it made for a restless night

We had a quick stay. We were traveling though. Got there late, left early to get back on the road. When we booked we asked for connecting rooms but they could not guarantee, had to wait to see what was available at check in. We knew we would be checking in around 10:30pm, so it would likely not be an option. That is the only reason I did not do 5 stars. Everything else was great.

Everything was excellent with the room and amenities, My only issue was at the pool and in the hot, smoking and vaping was extremely unpleasant, the smell of weed was lingering. There were families and children… facility should monitor a little better.

One thing we especially appreciated was the atmosphere and mix of guests staying there — it was diverse, family-friendly, and completely free of the “riff raff” you sometimes worry about at overnight highway stops. It genuinely felt comfortable and relaxed. The location was also extremely convenient, with plenty of restaurants, fast food options, gas stations, and even a Starbucks all within the immediate area, which made traveling with a family much easier. Our daughter absolutely loved the pool area, even though we didn’t have enough time to actually swim since this was just a quick overnight stop. It still served its purpose perfectly and gave us a comfortable place to recharge before continuing our trip. And the breakfast — wow. Easily one of the best continental breakfast spreads we’ve ever seen at a hotel. There were so many options, everything was stocked and clean, and it honestly exceeded expectations. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

The check in was full of surprises! We had no idea they had food and beverages for guests from 5:30-7:00 PM. We had a long drive and were ready to relax and get something to eat. The pool area was not just clean. It was also inviting, and spacious. One of the best hotels on our long journey!

Overall, an excellent experience. Room was spacious, well-appointed and clean. Nothing missing and everything worked, especially the climate control on a chilly day. Beds very comfortable and a nice, modern shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well above average and the staff moved quickly to replenish depleted items. Free drink at "kick back" was a plus. Easily would stay again.

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. One negative was our thermostat was set at 62 which I only Noticed after freezing in bed a few hours.

I was just looking for a nice clean room for the night for an unexpected stop on my way home from Florida and what I got was much better. It was a very pleasant experience. A nice sized clean room, very modern, and very comfortable beds. They had a nice looking indoor pool and hot tub, but I was too tired to try it out. Good thing is that they were open and working. It surprised me that they offered breakfast, lunch and dinner onsite. I didn't try it, but the fact that they offered a free breakfast, and other two meals, was a giant plus after just coming from a Marriott property that charged me $100 for 4 for a continental breakfast. The staff was great, and I would definitely make this my stop on the way back to Florida one day.

dinner menu was just ok. However my biggest complaint is the fact that the hot water in the bathroom sinks us shut off. This has been the case the last several times we have stayed. We love staying at the Drury but I dont understand why no hot water in the bathroom sink. Ice cold.

We enjoyed our stay at Drury Plaza Hotel in Valdosta. It was a good halfway stopping point for us. The hotel was very crowded, so it was hard to enjoy the amenities, but it was spring break weekend. The price went up a lot on the weekend, so be aware of that as well. Great breakfast, hot tub and pool were nice and our beds were comfortable.

Drury is our favorite hotel group. Buildings are always clean, staff is friendly, beds are comfortable. The free buffet style breakfast and the 5:30 kick back dinners and drinks are great when you just want to stay at the hotel and relax.

The hotel was beautiful! Our room was very clean and comfy. The pool was nice and warm with plenty of comfortable seating all around the pool. There were even towels already by the pool for the guests. The breakfast was Buffett style with many, many options and the food was hot. Multiple drink and coffee options. The best part was that the hotel provided dinner and cocktails too with the cost of your stay! The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend the Drury Hotel!!! We will stay again!

The breakfast buffet was good enough. Night cap meal/snacks were good. The beds were not comfortable though and sleep was so-so. The pool was spacious, but COLD. I got in the pool with one of our kids, though. Afterwards, got in the hot tub for about 15 seconds but got out due to ALL the kids overcrowding it. No thanks. The pool area was chaotic due to spring break timeframe, which is expected.

The suite I stayed in was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and the complementary dinner was unexpected and good. Both meals has a little bit of everything, which was good since we all have different diets. Staff was very friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is in the area. We will be back.

The room was clean and large, the evening dinner was perfect, as was the morning meal, and having three cocktails brought a days drive to a settling conclusion. I leaned of Drury Inns while traveling in the 80's and have continued staying at Drury Inns in retirement without being disappointed.

This hotel shows its age and they allow pets to stay in any room on any floor. If I had wished to stay in a dog kennel, I would have booked a room at a local dog kennel. My fault for not investigating further and their fault for not making this fact apparent.

Never stayed there. The date of the reservation was changed on Expedia from the date I requested to the next day before I noticed. Since I prepaid for the wrong date it was difficult to get a refund. I had to be very persistent.

The hot tub and the pool is now outside after the removal of all the large windows separating the areas. After driving in snow and ice for 11 hours we were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub as we have been doing for many years on the last day of January. The temperature was in the 20’s. I will not be returning!

We have stayed at this particular property on three separate occasions so far. All three visits we have been treated like absolute “family”. Christine at the front desk along with every single employee have gone above and beyond to make sure our time was 100% perfect. We have stayed at many of the top hotels across the US and I can honestly say this Drury Inn has exceeded all in terms of professionalism and true hospitality. We will most certainly return many times.

Staying at Drury Inn feels like a package deal. You get dinner and cocktails (assuming you are there in time for the 5:30 Kickback, which lasts until 7), a clean, comfortable bed, a nice hot shower, and a great breakfast to start your day - and all for one reasonable price! Whenever possible, I always choose a Drury Inn when traveling.

On our way to Florida was a great spot to stay for the night and get ready to journey on. Would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the evening wind-down and pool. Room and hotel impeccably clean. Friendly staff.

Was a little surprised that dogs were allowed to sit on the couches and chairs. My wife had sat on a chair, got up and had dog hair all over her pants. We have stayed at many Drury Inns in the past and have not seen the leniency of dogs in the dining area like this before.

We have stayed at Drury hotels before in other cities/states, and had good experiences. Our only qualms with this one was our room smelled dank and kinda stinky. The carpet may have been a culprit. It was quite nasty and old. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Elevator smelled of vomit

This must be one of the original Drury’s. It definitely was smaller and was outdated in many areas. Staff seemed uncomfortable often loud and focused on their task. The dinner buffet was meatballs, mashed potatoes, and green beans which worked but was a let down compared to other Drury’s dinners.

The room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was very friendly. There was free dinner and drinks 5:30-7 pm, and free breakfast. The pool looked nice, although we didn't use it. We'll definitely stay again on the way home.

Great room

This place was the best place we’ve ever stayed. The rooms were good sized the central air was so quiet we didn’t even hear any noise outside of our room. They offer for free up to 3 alcoholic or regular drinks per person dinner which they call snacks plus a big breakfast. You can’t beat it the personnel that works there are so friendly and helpful. It was clean we can’t say anything bad any time we go by it we will be stopping.

The place was clean and friendly. The pool was an indoor/outdoor Heated pool, and both the pool and whirlpool were very clean. Breakfast was great and in the afternoon they provided popcorn and soft drinks as a courtesy. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Valdosta.

It’s hard to pick what stood out most from our stay at the Drury, but the staff is surely in the running. This has to be the most friendly and upbeat group of people I’ve ever seen at a hotel. From check in to breakfast and then check out, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very nice and clean, and breakfast provided lots of options! A truly great experience.

The stay was great however, my reservation never made it through Hotels.com and I had to do a whole new reservation upon arrival to the hotel. Luckily, they had rooms available.

I lived the kickback hour. We pulled in and had our “dinner” options for not just adults but picky kiddos too. Then we could rest into our room without the need to figure out dinner. Since we only stayed one night and had been driving all day with was so nice to enjoy!!

Front desk was very accommodating and the breakfast was very good. I was surprised how good it was for a free breakfast. Real eggs even! Great job Drury.

This is an excellent hotel. The service is outstanding the hotel is clean and well decorated. My room was clean and Spacious, and my bed was so comfortable, we enjoyed the kickback from 5:30-7 was above what I expected with Mixed drinks Beer & wine with a full taco bar & soup & I could make loaded nachos! The Bartender was a joy to chat with and the food staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was great, especially with staff walking around checking on all the guest to see if everything was ok. Honestly this is my new Favorite hotel.

Opened the door to the room, turned on the light and several cockroaches later, we decided we would be staying somewhere else for the night.

I loved that the room was comfortably cool and quiet. A thermostat regulated the temperature so no noisy air conditioner! The room and bathroom was spotless, bed and pillows comfortable. I enjoyed complementary dinner in the dining area and breakfast the next morning without needing to leave the Inn. It was conveniently located off the interstate. My husband and I were very happy that we had chosen the Drury Inn in Valdosta.

Great clean room and easy parking. However no matter how high we turned the thermostat in the cool mode the temperature never went above 72’ Degrees. Had it set as high as 70’Degrees.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Each bed came with three half-sized, fairly soft pillows. If you prefer a larger or firmer pillow, you may want to bring your own or pick one up at the nearby Target, which is just 5 minutes away. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of options for everyone. The kids especially loved making their own waffles, which even came out stamped with the “D” logo, a fun touch. The location is also excellent. The hotel sits right off the highway and is surrounded by convenient dining choices, including an Olive Garden and Starbucks in the same lot, plus many other restaurants within walking distance. Overall, this hotel offered comfort, convenience, and a few special touches that made our stay enjoyable.

We’d never stayed here before, and this was a pleasant surprise. The room was larger than most and the beds were very comfortable. They had a cocktail time with taco servings, hot dogs, and nachos. They also gave 3 complimentary cocktails. What a nice way to finish our vacation! We will definitely be back!

The room was nice but refrigerator /cooler did not work and my wife had medicine that had to be cold. They did help with putting our ice packs in their freezer for the next day but we had to pack ice in the broken refrigerator that night. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. They also had free dinner and drinks which we did not know about in advance so we already ate and where too late for the drinks.

This is one of our all time favorite properties. The food (breakfast and "kick off") is amazing and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are always clean and have comfortable beds. The partial inside partial outside pool is very cool and the hot tub is amazing. We will only stay here when we come to visit our daughter at VSU.

This was our 1st Drury Hotel stay. The 5:30pm Kickback was definitely a bonus. Every employee we encountered was friendly and courteous. Someone was always cleaning and tidying up, which is important to us! We had one of the best night's sleep & really appreciate the comfy beds and quiet rooms.

The atmosphere was very homely

Drury is usually a solid bet, but they let me down. One of the main reasons I booked this room was for the pool in the hot tub. When these facilities opened in the morning, the pool was opaque with chemicals and the hot tub was overflowing and sandy. Essentially unusable, we told the front desk staff, and they promised to issue us a credit toward a future room. They did not fulfill this promise. Extremely disappointing for a chain that I typically find reliable.
