There were roaches in the room. The first one I saw was in the bathroom and then my friend saw one in the bed so we went right straight up to the front desk and wanted to get our money back.

the bedroom area looked like there was an attempt to update but there are signs of it being halfa$$ed down. bathroom was so gross we didnt even attempt to shower. And to say they have breakfast is a complete joke. we could not get out fast enough.

Facility was run down, breakfast was meager, the neighborhood was sketchy.

It was a good experience. Small things were not finished or up to date. The lamp shade needed to be unscrewed and replaced. The clock was an hour behind. I fixed those and the stay was The remote stopped working and they replaced it. Breakfast was good jyst need a sign that says flip the waffle maker. Excellent stay. Great employee relations.

TV didn't work, but I didn't complain because I didn't really need it.

The main door in was bent and had no seal to the jamb as well as evidence that it had been kicked on And they had me sign a damage waiver if they found anything wrong they would charge me 150.00

Room was a complete disaster. Had to kill a roach as soon as we entered, just so my daughter could go to the bathroom. Baseboards were falling apart, holes and dents in the walls, toilet was nasty, and the tub floor was dirty. AC wasn’t cold. Thank goodness it was for one night and that we were all exhausted.

On my trip from Colorado to Florida, this has been the best one-night stay overall, from the clean room to the friendly staff. I would recommend this place to everyone. :)

The room was clean. The rooms open to the parking, not inside a building. the breakfast was all carbohydrates and very small selection.

Sheet in the room were dirty faucet leaked. Room smelled. Gentleman at the counter was actively spitting chewing tobacco into a cup. Just gross.

No coffee cups or condiments in room. When asked for some, desk clerk at time referred to time for breakfast. Breakfast not desirable if you need protein. Waffles, bagles, cereal, some fruit. Had a hotel staff come into room. Missing part of bolt at top of door. (Thankfully wd were dressed.) Hotel staff did apologize profusely. Staff mainly polite and friendly (except the one who would not assist with coffee....) Otherwise, okay.

I checked in late at night and the staff did the bare minimum to direct me. The AC unit blew directly at the beds with no way to change the direction. The TV had two remotes and I could not figure out how it worked. The bathroom was not completely clean. There was a dirty footprint on the floor. No hot water in the morning. Due to bad shower valve. Also the shower head was handheld but did not have the piece to hold it on the wall. It was just shoved into the hand rail. When I told the staff upon leaving they acknowledged the problem but did not offer any discount or refund. I would not go back to this hotel.

The hotel was a typical bottom of the barrel selection. While the room was relatively clean there was the pungent odor of cleaning solutions that are masking the natural odor raising suspicion of the room quality. Because the room was repulsive we left to find another more suitable hotel without requesting a refund - the room rate was low enough that we did not consider it a loss

This place was horrible juice and whatever else was on the walls and and headboard, the floor was never swept the tv even had juice and things all over it. The bedding was a mess as well. The door poorly closed. I checked in and checked out the same day, they would not refund me at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The building is so run down. They send us to a room that had not been cleaned. Sheets were in a pile in the middle of the bed. I didn’t go in any further that was enough for me. Staff acted like he could care less and just handed us another key. Terrible! I recommend sleeping in your car!

The room was filthy. The bed looked used with stains, the toilet wasn’t cleaned, hair was on the floor, the pillowcases were stained, and the microwave was dirty. The step outside was unsafe and even the ice machine was nasty. I’ll never return.

It was so nasty not taking care of smell like cigarettes and it was a non-smoking room. Customer service was awful too. Breakfast awful only have to make waffles milk and cereal only cornflakes worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at do not recommend.

It was a comfortable stay for one night, there was mildew in the bathroom and stains on the towels, but the people in the front were nice.

Was ok until the cockroaches started running across the floor. Don't leave clothes on the floor! If it was a popular time for showering, there was not enough water pressure to get wet. The OJ at breakfast was not OJ. On a good note, the bed was not uncomfortable and the room fan ran on continuous mode like I like it.

We waited at the check in desk for upwards of 15 min. We rang the bell and yelled for assistance. Finally an associate came. We found a dead cockroach in the morning and as we were leaving my husband saw one climbing up the dresser. We did not have hot water for showers. When I reported this the associate looked at me confused. DO NOT STAY HERE

Waited 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check me in, Tv would not work, unpainted patches in the drywall throughout room, no mirror in bathroom, rusted toilet paper holder, trash around the grounds, etc. Terrible property all around. Would not recommend to anyone and should not be offered by Hotels.com.

Gave us a smaller room so we had to get 2 rooms. Rust came out of shower faucet. Rooms were rundown with repairs needed, etc.

Our first room had some rowdy tenants nearby so we had to move to another room on the other side of the building. Good morning could have been cleaner and the pool hadn't been cleaned in a while but it sounds like the property is going through a management change so it looks like it's getting upgraded very soon

Staff was very friendly when we checked in ,took the time to listen to and answer my kids question..the room was clean and felt clean,didnt see any bugs or any other problems with the room other than being outdated,but you can tell they are working on updating ..there was a new tv ,plenty of accessible outlets and even usb and type c charging ports built into the nightstands...to be straight forward to anyone checking the reviews before booking,this isnt a motel you want to book for a fancy vacation or for a honeymoon but to anyone just passing through or needing a place to crash afted a long day at wild adventures and want to stick to a budget but still feel clean and comfortable this is an excellent choice

Breakfast was literally a few bread slices, a few pieces of fruit, cereal, waffles. Juice machine out of order. Not even close to normal hotel continental breakfast as reflected in other reviews; I was hopeful that was an overreaction but it was not. Hot shower for about 90 seconds then went barely warm. Bathroom was really in bad shape. Toilet even was loose, which omitted a horrible smell when it wiggled which was every time you stood up. Toiletries and towels looked like they were thrown in place. Do not recommend. Shopping mall I believe is abandoned and carnival set up across the parking lot.

The staff were super nice and accommodating. however, that’s the best I can say about it. I found pubic hair on the floor and in the tub. This hotel is falling apart. The lampshades had parts dangling that could easily have been reattached with some glue. The wall next to the door had their wall showing as someone had ripped part of it off our animals had chewed on it. I left after one night to go to another motel, even though I had paid for the second night. I would not stay in that motel ever again.

The tv volume wouldn't go down from the loudest setting. The breakfast selection was 2 types of cereals, white bread in plastic wrap, or make a waffle. If we weren't there to just lay our heads down for a few hours, we would have left.

The bed was comfortable but that’s the end of the pros. It was loud, both people staying (living??) there and everything related to the room like air, fridge, water. Wasn’t the cleanest either. Definitely got out asap in the morning.

The room had a coffee pot, no cups, coffee filters, cream and sugar. When we inquired about this at the desk we were told that guests didn't know how to use them so they just privided coffee now in the breakfast room throughout the day. However, there were no lids for the coffee cups which might make transporting them difficult. Am curious about breakfast tomorrow.

Very little was 2 bagels, 5 slices of bread in sandwich bags, 3 yogurt, cereal but no milk, and enough batter for 3 or 4 waffles. There was no fruit, eggs, or decaf coffee.

I had to stay in my car. The hotel cancelled the room and still charged my card. The event was during VSU homecoming and went I went to check in, the front desk worker said she cancelled the reservation. The charge is still being disputed.

The room: had no more than 5 squares of toilet paper, and no extra roll. I made a trip to the car and brought in ours. There was no soap so I washed my hands with shampoo. The tv would not turn on. We attempted to call the front desk, but there was no dial tone. The bed and floor appeared to be clean.

In the breakfast area there were no knives, no lids for the coffee, and butter would be nice. I made no complaints as these things did not affect my stay.

The property was disgusting!!! The room smelled like weed. The smoke detector was removed which leads me to believe the previous people who stayed there did it on purpose. The floor was sticky. The outside of room was very dirty.

The room was good. The rest was very poor. I wouldn't even call the breakfast continental. We went to Cracker barrel for breakfast. When I checked out the front office stunk.

The refrigerator was loud all night and seemed to be having issues, the area didn't seem safe- people were arguing within earshot of our room, the tub was leaking and filled the bottom of the tub, there was no tissue or extra toilet paper.

This hotel is disgusting and unsafe. They had smoke detectors covered, rooms were not cleaned. Sheets had cigarette burns in them and there was blood spatter on one of the walls. The night we were there, there was a party in the parking lot that the host of the hotel was hanging out at. The police broke up party at 4am. When requested refund due to cleanliness and safety issues they refused to help at all or take an responsibility or even issue an apology. Terrible experience.

The not a good hotel Nasty

This was the absolute worst room that I have ever stayed in. It smelled of mildew and mold. The bathroom fixtures were rusty. I wouldn't even take a shower because I didn't feel comfortable doing so. There were tiny holes all over the door because the locks had been changed so much. There was hair painted over on the walls. There were dirty spots on the curtains. It was just a lot. If I weren't so doggone exhausted from driving 10 hours already I wouldn't have bothered staying here. I was sad that pi had already paid for it and couldn't get my money back

The place was old and run down. No smoke detectors. The door had no security latch, it was busted off. The door looks like it had been busted into. The toilet was not secured to the floor and the floor was so filthy you could not take off your shoes.

The room was not finished. Poorly painted walls with mis matched colors. The show was fitted for handicap and the sprayer was hinged on a rusty man made hanger. There wasnt any tissue in the dispenser. When i uaed the poor blow dryer it suddenly stopped working. The room was clean but not very inviting. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were ok.

Refrigerator noisy, and a/c unit noisy, checked in 4am, was so exhausted that still slept... killed 2 roaches that came out at night...ughhh

The facility called us when we were approximately half an hour away to let us know that our room had flooded. We had booked an accessible room. They didn't have any to offer us. They found a room with a single king sized bed on the first floor for us. The room initially looked dusty, but okay and clean. Upon further observation, we found hair in the bathroom floor and broken switch plates and missing items. During our single night's day, we also were accompanied with small roaches. I won't stay at this location again. Most of the room numbers were held on the doors with hvac tape. Hopefully the location is judt doing a lot of remodeling. I will not chance it again there though. Paid too much to end up in a room like this

The owners were very nice and let us see the room before checking in which I thought was very nice . The room did have a slight mold smell as the a/c was leaking a little but otherwise had been renovated . Was ok for the $ paid as bed was comfortable and pool was working !

How this filthy motel received an 80% satisfaction rate puzzles me. What we encountered was disturbing. The toilet wasn't clean, had a ring around it and pubic hair on the rim, we let that go. Then saw greasy sex handprints on the bed headboard. We let that go as well. The final straw was when my wife pulled the sheets back on the bed and discovered blood stains on the mattress and wrinkled sheets like they hadn't been changed . At that point I called Expedia för a refund so we could leave. Expedia called the manager of the hotel that refused to grant a refund with the excuse of us being there för over 2 hours. Well, I told the guy we tried to make it work but the sex stains and bloody sheets were the final straw. ILL BE FILING A CHARGEBACK!

Property is somewhat dated but owner is trying to update the property. Much of the wash cloths and towels are worn from frequent usage. The bathroom doors scrap when opening and closing.

It was ok. Breakfast was ok. Confused about not being able to take your breakfast to your room? I think they need more staff and their ability for attention to detail. The front desk attendant asked me if everything was ok, I said yes. But by the second night and time to check out I saw a few things like, not having tissues in the room and the tissue box as well as the coffee maker was filled with dust. Under the bed hadn’t had a cleaning in a very long time. There was really bad dust and dried banana skin under there. I think they were doing the best they could but a little more attention to detail goes a long way. When we needed something, the staff was happy to help.

The room and sheets and towel were filthy room had wet floors. I was scared to walk. I thought I was gonna fall and hurt myself. They need to upgrade. It will be a pretty nice area. One area is seem like it was a lot of drug dealers. I was afraid to walk out at night, but the staff was very nice and they did not clean my room.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, there was mold & mildew throughout the room. I was promised a clean room multiple times; however, that didn't happen. The one room that I was offered to move into was more mold infested than the original room.

I booked my hotel through hotels.com. I booked a room where I could pay at the property. I get an email at 2 o’clock in the morning because I hadn’t made it there yet because I didn’t get off work till late and drove 4 1/half hours to the hotel Only to get an email telling me that my reservations have been canceled because they tried to run my card at 12 and run my card at 2 AM when I was supposed to pay when I got to the property so I don’t understand why you have the option to pay when you get to the property if the hotel is gonna go ahead and try to run your card. I keep my card locked so unfortunately I will never be using hotels.com again! Amanda was the night clerk. When I called she told me what her manager told her to do so I said I was to pay when I got there and she said I did what my manager told me to do & hung up on me & didn’t answer when I called back. I’m 4 hours away from home & my room was cacncled. Why have the option to pay on arrival? I keep my card locked. That’s why my card declined they shouldn’t have been trying to run my card if I am a pay on arrival quest. I am so angry about this and will never stay at a Baymont inn or use hotels.com. When I called Hotels.com customer service I was on the phone with Ivan for over 45 minutes and still didn’t get any help. By this time it’s 3M and I’m 4 hours away from home and no hotel to sleep in.

Poorly lit. Room was dirty... no comforter on bed. Holes and stains on sheets. Floors not swept. Hair in shower. Rude desk attendant. She was in another room laughing & partying with other guests. We checked out after immediately. No way were we staying.

The room was average for the cost. What made us unhappy is that the gentleman that checked us in knocked on the door at around 11 pm demanding that we pay a pet deposit we didn’t know about. We had no problem doing it, but his attitude and the time he bothered us was inappropriate. We paid it the next morning before checking out and the lady that took our payment as very pleasant. The dude was just rude.

The room was nasty and the sheets had stains. The air-condition had water pouring from it once it had been on for about 30 minutes and it won't stop. It was terrible besides the convince of the location.

We checked in and went to our room ready to sleep after a very long day of driving. We ripped open the covers and there was not 1 but 2 bugs under the covers!! Plus it smelled like marijuana and sketchy people were walking around and sitting in their cars right outside of our room.

I noticed some black mold that may have already been treated under the sink and in the bathroom. The room had the smell of black mold when we first entered.

I really don’t like the star rating system because it can hurt a business terribly. My experience is not your experience and I don’t want someone else to miss out on a good experience. The staff is wonderful and friendly and they helped us out as possible as they can. I gave it a 3 star but of the room wasn’t as clean as it should have been. You could tell that previous stay someone had a dog. There was mold/ mildew in the bathroom by the way I had an allergic reaction to it. Now the staff did do a deep clean while we were out but the stains of the mildew/mold was still on the walls in the bathroom.

It was okay not great, but okay. The fire alarm going off at 10 pm sucked and it didn’t seem like they were trained how to turn it off. It was on for over 20 minutes with no fire or smoke.

The staff was great, but the hotel rooms left much to be desired. The first room we received was leaking fairly heavily through the window. The staff was very accommodating with switching rooms. The door had a very large gap between it and the door jam.

We booked our trip over a month in advance. The staff called the morning of to confirm our reservation, we said we were on our way, so they charged my card. Then they called when we just made it into town to ask “can you find another hotel for the weekend?”. We had to then find a hotel for us and our 3 children, last minute, on fourth of july weekend. Terrible customer service.

Nicest staff

We booked two rooms for my family of 6. Once we got there, we got into our room and found foul odor, mold on the bottom of pillows and on the walls, dead bugs everywhere, a half roll of toilet paper, unpainted drywall “patches,” door jambs that had been kicked in and broken, shady characters all around the motel, a cracked window on the room above ours that had been taped up, and poorly lit areas surrounding the entire place. We pulled back the comforter and found stains on all of the sheets on all beds. I’ve stayed in questionable places before, and I am self-admittedly one to pinch pennies, but we went to the front desk and told them we were not staying. I didn’t feel safe having my family stay there, or even leave my vehicle unattended overnight. We cancelled and drove across town and gladly paid twice as much to stay in a nicer, safer place. There is nothing about this place that felt ok. Don’t be fooled by the pictures; this place is rough. How anyone rated this hotel even remotely positive is beyond me. If you care about cleanliness and a general feeling of safety, do yourself a favor and ante up for a nicer place.

As far as cleanliness of my 2nd room, it could be done a lot better. There was makeup still in the sink which leaks when you run the water too long, no tissue paper, and empty small shampoo and conditioner bottles on the counter. Fix the pipe under the sink instead of putting tape around it. You can tell there wasn’t any major cleaning done. Just enough to get by. Which I saw how fast they cleaned the room next to mine. For the property itself, cigarette butts all over the stairs, a beer bottle, trash on the ground of the outside walkway, ice machine area had spider webs and dead bugs. They need a designated smoking area instead of having people smoke by or on the stairs or balcony. Everyone doesn’t want to smell smoke coming into their room, or walk by it. Overall, I’m glad I was around a lot of restaurants, but the hotel stay could have been better.

The coffee maker was turned over and there was no urn to make coffee. The bathroom was barely clean. There was not toilet paper holder. The corners of the tub and behind the door was dirty. The towels was some what dingy. The room number was taped to the window. It did not meet the looks or standard of the online pictures AT ALL. NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

When I first checked into my room smelled like mold as well as my sheets being dirty. I told the front desk and said no rooms where available until the next morning. They changed the room but the bathroom smelled like the pipes where back up in the tube. There was a leak near the toilet.

We usually bring soap on our trips, but forgot. Unfortunately the hotel did not provide soap. When we asked, we were told to use the little bottle of shampoo for soap. Luckily, I had a little bottle of shampoo in my bag. I was looking forward to a dip in the pool after a long drive. It was closed. Overall, it was a decent place to sleep for one night.

This was the nastiest place. There was cockroaches crawling on the walls. The beds had nasty sheets on them without comforters. We did not stay had to get refund and went to another hotel. Very sketchy place felt very unsafe. My kids was crying cause they were scared. Do not stay here.

The bathroom was dirty stains on the wall the room smelled bad will not be coming back pool was closed should have gotten a discount due to pool closing rooms definitely needed to be updated was told over the phone to add 10$ for our small dog was then charged $25 !!!!

I booked this hotel for my parents. They let me know it was overall pretty bad. Apparently the room only had a coffee pot with only 2 cups and no creamers or sugar. When they asked for a wake up call they were told they don’t do that but could have someone knock on their door to wake them up. They said there were nice hotels all around them, I just felt bad that I booked this one for them as they are in their 70’s so I wanted to find them a good deal and they do not use the internet but I should have done more research.

It was alright, my room had a weird smell, AC was moldy and loud. When I came into the room all my towels were damp and smelt funky. My bathroom was the worst part, mold and mildew all over the place. Dead bugs on the wall, but room service was nice and very respectful.

We arrived at the hotel and we went to the room. The room had a moldy, musty smell. When I turned down the bed, the sheets had not been changed! The pillows still had indentations from being slept on. I went to the office and told the manager who didn’t seem surprised and I cancelled. He told me he could not refund my money due to being reserved through Expedia. We arrived after a 10 hour road trip so we had every intention of keeping the reservation, but the condition of the room was unacceptable! I feel a refund is appropriate in this situation.

Worst i ever stayed

The TV didn’t work. Don’t think it was worth what I paid! The room was clean and the bed was decant I really would like to have a clerk that spoke clear English!!!

Room was mast tub had stains and pubic hair in it. Room smelled of cigarettes. The pool was green and completely out of service. Nothing like the pictures.

I booked two rooms. Both were dirty, torn curtains, room smelled of smoke. the smoke detector had been torn off of the wall. There was a strong scent of marijuana lingering outside of the rooms. There was a can of roach spray sitting outside of the door of one of the rooms. The toilet seat was dirty and there was hair in the shower left from the guest before. We did not stay. I turned in my keys and found another hotel. The pictures make it look nice but it clearly is not a nice place to stay.

Nice people forsure, location was great, But it was bad noisy and there was mold everywhere and the cleanliness was aweful, stained sheet, poorly patched walls, do not walk around barefoot because your feet will turn black...

The room had some upgrades like new tv but not user-friendly. Proper towels or toiletries were not available, no tissues, beds not properly made, toilets moved and dirty. Light fixtures falling apart, hair dryer falling off wall and would not blow air. Not somewhere I would ever book again. Very disappointing.

Extremely fluffy pillows, extremely comfortable bed, extremely clean room but this morning when I checked out before I checked out, I might say I was gonna stay in the room another hour I’d stepped out of the room for a little bit and moved my stuff to my car left a few things up there When I came back they were already cleaning my room.

But the most disturbing part of our stay was being woken up at 8 a.m. by a housekeeper banging on the door and yelling "Housekeeping! Housekeeping!" She woke us up, and when I opened the door—clearly just out of bed—I told her we were still sleeping. She nodded and left, only to return an hour later and try to open the door again. Thankfully, we had the security latch on, so she couldn't get in, and finally left. I really don’t understand — if check-out is at 11 a.m., what’s the point of banging on guests’ doors at 8 a.m.? That’s completely unacceptable. Breakfast was available from 6 to 8 a.m., but honestly, I’d suggest changing it to 6:00–6:30 a.m. to make sure no one actually shows up for it. On the positive side, the front desk staff was polite and friendly.

Horrible. No shower curtain. No washcloths. No coffee. TV didnt work properly. I will be sending a letter to Baymont. Ice machine leaking water across public walkway. No warning signs displayed. No lids for drinks in lobby. Worst place I have ever stayed. Room number written on door with marker but plaque with room number was on AC in room. How tacky is that? This is an independent Baymont according to sign in lobby. We have stayed at numerous Baymonts but never again. This is a terrible hotel. Do not rent a room here. Ever. I have pictures of all the complaints to prove my point but unable to upload at this time.

To say this place was disgusting would be generous. My room had roaches. There was no stopper in the tub so it was very difficult to bathe my child. There was a giant hole above the spout in the tub so that’s probably how the bugs were getting in. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, but was also leaking water. So every time I was sitting on the toilet I had cold drops of probably unclean water dripping on me. There was one towel provided when we checked in so I had to get more. The sheets had stains. There was a weird smell when we first checked in, and I was advised before I even got to my room to just let the air conditioning run in the smell go away. The sheets didn’t seem to fit the bed and the fitted sheet kept popping off of my son‘s bed. The phone did not have a cord connecting at the wall. It was basically for decoration. It was so bad that I had to change hotels.

Sheets were dirty and stained, smoke detector falling off the wall, TV didn't work, the door latch was broken and the door was filthy. There were mops laying in the parking lot. Overall disgusting. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Checked in late at night due to unexpected delays, I did call and let them know. I assumed the two rooms I booked were together but one in front and the other around back, said that’s all they had left! first thing I went to use bathroom and a roach was crawling on the toilet seat , floors were dirty , sink dirty coffee pot and coffee were just thrown on the counter, we did not use it , I was worried about more roaches but didn’t see anymore or any bedbugs. But had to stay but room was booked for over a month in advance so feel like we should have had rooms already assigned to us instead of leftovers. Bathroom ceiling cracked a falling down around fan that didn’t work. And breakfast was a joke , no one cleaning or attending anything coffee was in lobby only one little pot and no decaf or anything sugar free and it was only 8:00 and breakfast was till 9:30 because it’s Saturday. Just not happy at all it was a mess!!!!

It was horrible. Came for a celebration of life and unfortunately chose this motel. Never again. It was dirty, the AC leaked, customer service was not good. The pool was not open. All around bad experience. I am very disappointed of this Wyndham establishment.

The first room smelled smokey. We got another room. The tv remote was smashed and taped. It was ok for a quick overnight. Bed was comfortable.

Room overall was good. Outside conditions were dirty and needed work. The desk clerk was not friendly and not informative.

If I could give this place 0 stars I don’t think that would even do justice. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. Even if it is a reasonable price. After we walked back to our car, the receptionist at the desk was walking into the room with the guy who had the work bench.
