Reviews
The hotel is highly praised for its proximity to Universal Studios, with many guests appreciating the convenience of walking or taking the shuttle to the park. The staff is consistently described as friendly and professional. However, there are frequent complaints about the high cost of food, parking, and other amenities, as well as issues with room cleanliness and maintenance.

The hotel is one of my favorites, but I am glad it is getting a uplift. I had not used the pool before, but it was disappointing. Very misleading from pictures. It is very humid in the rooms, poor ventilation in the rooms. Wallpaper started to peel, and the paper in my storage box got crinkle due to the humidity in the room. I just hope there is no mold.

The property & room were clean, and the staff checked-in to make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend for a Universal Studios trip.

My stay at the hotel was excellent. Great service, and Universal Studios was right across the street. Honestly, I loved it!

Location to Universal was great. Elevators were quick and readily available. Room service food was excellent. Staff was exceptional. Lobby under construction, but out of anyone’s control.

Location Comfortable 2bedroom suite. Decent size Refrigerator . Very comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and helpful which made up a big part of our stay pleasant. Limited parking and were told that our SUV needed to be valeted due to height restrictions. Didn’t have a choice to self park. For what we paid I think breakfast should have been included. Check-in desk small and almost impossible to get through without bumping or needing to wait for people to make space to pass by and get to elevators to our room.
- 3/5
The continental breakfast was cold and not much options. Coffee was bad, we were probably better off getting startbucks to go. The sitting area was also not nice and there was construction so people in line to check in where in the way to the elevators. The hotel is getting a bit dated and it's still expensive. Parking has gone up too. Overall okay for proximity.

Top shelf hotel for the area
- 4/5
We stayed here because of its close proximity to universal studios and truthfully if that’s what you’re planning on doing then it’s perfect. The rooms are spacious especially if you’re traveling with a decent amount of luggage or kids. The room was clean but did smell a bit of chlorine. I never walk barefoot in hotel rooms but wouldn't on that carpet. It looks like it could use a good deep clean, however, the room/linens were clean and free of dirt and hair. It’s very easy to walk (less than 5 mins) to universal and they also have a shuttle that runs to and from park if you prefer that. There’s food on property and a store that has tons of drinks/snacks/essentials. Overall, great for a hotel close to universal that is clean. Not luxury by any means but clean and close.

Loved our one-night stay in a spacious, clean corner room with a beautiful mountain view. Early check-in at 1:30 PM was a massive plus! The king bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of room for luggage even with the pull-out sofa in use. The 5-minute walk to Universal is unmatched. Parking is $55/day. Also, avoid the food at the coffee shop. The Starbucks drinks are fine, but the food is awful—I had to toss the egg bites, the bagel was just okay, and the turkey sandwich was terrible. Stay here for the amazing rooms and location, but don’t eat the breakfast at the coffee shop!

The location, the food was extremely good at breakfast. Unfortunately there was renovations going on. Not a big problem, and nicely handled. But I had looked forward to the lounge, which wasn't available.

Check-in was a slow process. It was supposed to be 4 PM. But it was closer to 4:45 PM but the time we got our keys. The bar staff were friendly, but a little disappointing to find out that it closes at 10 PM. There was no nowhere to get a drink or any food late night. The room was clean, room service was OK,

I liked how big the hotel was and a nice view and clean . I loved there hygiene.. but what I didn’t like was in the room they only gave one sugar and one cup like don’t be greedy and one toilet paper 😏 then when I got there to pay it was an extra $100 witch they said it was for a deposit I never got back ….. besides that it was ok but I don’t think it was worth $425

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Pool area was relaxing and water was heated. Proximity to Universal Studios and CityWalk is great, options to use free shuttle or take a short walk. Unfortunately, the lobby area was being renovated during the time of our stay, so entering the hotel was a bit weird. But would definitely stay here again in the future.

A little speedy and laundry is coin operated and 1 of the two sets were out of order and someone spilled a whole tray of food in the hallway on the way to the laundry and it wasn’t cleaned up for a good hour and I went to the front desk to let them know. Pay 50$ a day for parking when they don’t say it on hotels app when I booked my room and went for breakfast just like a regular buffet bc I paid 900 dollars for the room so I assumed breakfast was included and got charged 90$ for 1 plate had to pay 35$ for a microwave to reheat my food and also had to pay for early check in fee only 2 hours before my actual check in after being told I could check in early with no issues this place was horrible just put the extra fees included when booking everything would’ve been a smoother process.

We got there early after a drive down from San Fran and they let us check in early to go rest which was so lovely and so unexpected. The Laundrette on site was huge drums and only $10 for wash and dry of a full load . The pool was very welcome after a day at the parcs and a trip to Hollywood . Perfectly located and only $13 to get an uber to town . It only took 5 mins to walk to the park entrance for universal . They was having some construction and the noise surprised my autistic son when walking past a few times which freaked him out out and took a while for him to regulate but also that can't be helped .

The location of this hotel to universal studios is great. There is a complementary shuttle that runs every 15-20 min. to and from the park. Walking to the park is a short 9 minute walk. This makes it an excellent hotel to stay at while visiting the park. Great hotel for kids and families. Shower water pressure was a little weak

Ideal location if you are going to Universal Studios. Also, close enough to other attractions in neighboring cities like Beverly Hills. Definitely need more renovations to certain areas of the hotel, which was happening at the time I was there. Water pressure was affected by the renovations, and affected areas like the walk paths throughout the hotel. As someone who had an event in one of the rooms there, particularly the orchid room, I can say that it definitely needs to be renovated and a thorough clean needs to be performed. The service from the wait staff was great, but the carpet was disgusting. There was one spot in the room that smelled like vomit and you can see on the walls and molding that they did not clean the floor prior to the event, at least that was my experience. I would advise people to request a walk-through of the event space prior to an event. As for my room, the beds were stiff and very springy- not comfortable at all, which leads to me selecting a less than perfect rating for my experience. Otherwise, the staff and the service was great during my staff. As for pricing for food, I would not order from this hotel, but rather I would use food delivery services like DoorDash because at the end of the day, it was cheap cheaper and fast faster than what you would get from the hotel itself.

. The maids did an amazing job I am well pleased with them. The bell boys were hard working. There was no hot water from 6-9 pm all nights, the flow is horrible and barely comes out. The coffee is only set for 2 people but our room had 4 people. I would like to have had more coffee cups available. 50$ a day for parking is ridiculous The 18% gratuity fee that doesn’t even go to the servers is ridiculous ( administrative costs?) Very good location for the park. That’s why we chose it. We were allowed an early check in which was incredibly helpful but we were put on floor 2 which is actually more like the basement … so we had noises from either the lift or the generator all night. The bed was comfy though and we were really only staying there for convenience… and it was fine for 1 night.

The really only negative I have to say is that the shower pressure was non existent. To for ever just to take a shower, with out even washing my hair

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was included with the room we stayed in but was unable to indulge as we were told that it was until 10am. We arrived at 0935 and were turned away as it was a weekend buffet and they don’t take anyone after 0930. However, they made good on their mistake and credited us back without any issues.

Outdated hotel with poor service. I felt like I was just a number to the guy at the front desk. The hotel lobby felt dark and shabby like it hadn’t been dusted since the 1990s. I expected so much more from a $400 stay. Only two great things were the pool area and that we could walk to Universal Studios.

Due to a very late check-in, we did not have the opportunity to report a room issue at the time. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, so we didn't sleep at all that night. We found the mattress to be sagging and uneven, surely not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel.

Hotel was clean. Very close to universal studios, about a 5 to 10 minute walk, also offered a shuttle. Check in and consierge staff very helpful and nice. Convenient lobby bar and restaurant. My only complaint was breakfast was extremely overpriced. A good variety of buffet style breakfast but not for the price. Hostess at breakfast was quite rude but otherwise good stay if you're wanting to stay right near the park. More affordable options nearby if you rent a car.
- 3/5
Stay was okay overall. The shuttle to Universal was definitely a nice perk and super convenient. The beds had a strong, almost hospital-soap smell, which wasn’t my favorite. The business center is pretty small for a hotel that hosts a lot of conferences. Also didn’t love that you have to pay extra for hot breakfast items. Not a bad stay, but a few things could be improved.
- 5/5
This was our first time staying in a Hilton hotel and I can say I will be returning on our next trip. I appreciate being told everything when getting checked in.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. We really loved the close proximity to Universal Studios
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean, it was a last minute stay but very comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Check in was easy, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and I slept amazing! Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and always able to answer any questions I had. Only stayed for one night, but worth the close proximity to the theme park. Price was a little high, but i have come to expect that with hotels near popular locations. Property itself was nice. Didn’t feel too out dated or too modern. It was a nice surprise to find a small refrigerator in the room. Lots of space in the room.
- 5/5
The location can't be beat.
- 5/5
Great location, very upscale
- 5/5
Definitely recommend families and friends to stay here.
- 3/5
Only lukewarm water
- 4/5
This place is great to stay when visiting universal. All the staff are great and friendly! My favorite place to stay when I’m visiting universal studios so convient to walk to city walk or the park.
- 2/5
Frustrating Hotel that charges 50 dollars a day for parking, was charged $195. for 3 nights (and two full days). Incredibly frustrating. No free breakfast, breakfast was quite expensive. The hotel was quite old, renovations were going on. The rooms were just okay, not really worth the price we paid. The beds weren't bad, but it felt like we were nickle and dimed for every little thing. Welcome to California I guess. Would not stay here again. There was nothing indicating that we would have to pay that much money in parking.
- 5/5
Great service all around!!
- 3/5
For a Hilton I would expect more such as the fridge that we had in there did not keep our drinks cold house leaving clean but not excellent because we found old Advils underneath our beds. We even found a dollar in between the mattress. It sucks that you have to pay for parking after you already paid so much for the rooms. No free breakfast I don't know for Hilton. I expected more for your buck. The one great thing is that it was close to universal studio so we didn't have to really walk far. There isn't really much close by restaurants for you to eat at besides the mall which is expensive because it's marked twice as much as you normally priced. So you would have to drive at least a few miles just to get some decent food
- 5/5
Valet staff was top notch and took great care of my truck that unfortunately would not fit in the garage. Check in staff was average at best. But the hotel bar and serving staff was amazing. Thank you for keeping me comfortable and on time during a rough weekend.
- 5/5
Great stay I recommend to everyone
- 1/5
I had unexpected charges put on my room that were not mine that I’m currently trying to deal with
- 4/5
Hotel was good. Nice service. Sink drain was a bit slow. Definitely recommend because it is super convenient to walk to Universal Studios.
- 3/5
I expected more for staying with Hilton, the bed was hard and very caved in the middle of the bed. Seemed dated for the price, fridge was hidden in the dresser wish it was more visible. The ice machine on the 14th floor was broke so I called front desk to request ice she said someone would be up to bring some but nobody ever came, by then I was asleep. Great location to the parks and I love the bus that takes you back and fourth to the park with no fee. The outdoor escalator was very broken with the doors hanging off and what appeared to be a bloody hand print at the bottom of the escalator, very weird and creepy!! Average rating.
- 5/5
Very clean room and very friendly staff
- 1/5
The whole hotel had a moldy smell. They charge their guests insanely high price for parking and they also charge for WIFI. No hotel all over the world charged me for parking or wifi for the last 10 years. It was my first and last time staying in Hilton Hotels.
- 5/5
Pros: the king bed was heavenly, one of the most comfortable I've slept on. The food was pricey but delicious, and the shuttle was always on time. There was some construction in the dining areas, so we did miss some choices. It was a short walk to the park. Cons: there was only one hook (other than the small loop for hand towel) in the bathroom; no place to hang toiletry bags or all of our towels. We had a great time and would recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
We stayed at this location on our most recent trip to Universal Studios and were so pleasantly surprised. It was a great location, a convenient walk to the amusement park, and staff were all above and beyond. By far the best of our recent California trip. We will definitely stay here again. Spent a lovely evening and morning at the pool, which our kiddos loved. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
The only thing is that we got a double bed room and the beds were a little too small to fit two people in my opinion but everything else was good.
- 3/5
There was a strange pipe noise at 3 am or so, woke me up several times during my 3 day stay. I let the the staff know when I checked out. Noise was sleep disrupting, stayed on the 18th floor.
- 5/5
The hotel has only two guest washers and dryers, with only one functioning unit. Great location though.
- 1/5
Never again!
- 5/5
the room looks clean and staffs are friendly. the vehicle height allowance to self parking is kinda low. the large SUV must be valet parked.
- 5/5
I understand they are under construction but our food was not the quality for what we spent. They served fries hard and the steak was not rare like ordered. It took so long to get our food we did not want to say anything then. The server was excellent.
- 5/5
:)
- 5/5
Great views and staff and though we didn’t use the pool or tub, they looked nice. Laundry room was so useful and clean, gym was equipped really well, clean and great views. Staff were so helpful and friendly. 5 min walk to Universal. Spacious rooms - would definitely recommend.
- 4/5
Beds were clean, as well as the bathroom. Water pressure was not great, and we had to ask for more towels every day. We had 4 people in our room and only received 2 towels daily. The pool is small, but nice. Everything was WAY overpriced, as most hotels, but especially the coffee bar. No microwave in the room, but it was listed as an amenity.
- 3/5
Shuttle: About 20 mins in the morning. Walking to Studio: 6 minutes.
- 2/5
Super close to Universal, great room service, room was clean, view was amazing and the pool was perfect for the kids
- 5/5
Great breakfast. Used the shuttle to the theme park three times during our stay
- 5/5
Big & clean rooms & bathrooms. Had an amazing view of universal studios! Stones throw away from the entrance
- 5/5
My room was clean and the breakfast buffet was good with many options.
- 2/5
The biggest issue I had was the water in the room don’t work correctly. I notified the front desk and they sent someone to fix it, but it wasn’t fixed. The shower would turn completely off while I was in it. The sink faucet wouldn’t release water when you turned the nozzle on. The toilet wouldn’t flush everytime you tried to flush it. They definitely need to do something about their plumbing.
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 5/5
The view was amazing from our room. Very short walking distance (less than 5 mins uphill) to universal studios.
- 4/5
Our stay overall was great. The shower head kept leaking water, besides that all was great. Love the Star Bucks inside hotel. Very convenient.
- 3/5
Rooms and hotel was clean but the pool and hot tub was disappointing. The water was cloudy and looked dirty. Only 2 jets in the hot tubs were working.
- 2/5
My stay at this hotel was disappointing due to the way my family was treated. While at the buffet, staff approached us rudely and asked us to get up from our table, saying it was too late, without any courtesy or understanding. The interaction felt disrespectful and left a negative impression on what should have been a pleasant experience. I hope the hotel works on improving customer service, especially in how guests are addressed. The only polite and professional staff member was the lady at the front desk when we checked in. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I would rather stay at the Sheraton next to it.
- 3/5
One of the onsite restaurants is indefinitely closed - but advertised on the website. There is not microwave in the room, and there is a charge for wifi = disappointing. One morning we were the last seating at breakfast buffet and it was like they had already closed everything down. There was no one there to make an omelet, we were disappointed.
- 2/5
Self parking was for tiny cars only. Valet employees were rude and unprofessional. Water would only run for about one minute then turn off for 5 minutes. They did not have another room to move us.
- 5/5
Clean room quiet
- 5/5
The staff truly made the experience special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. You can really feel how organized and attentive they are everything runs smoothly and on time, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely come back again whenever I visit Universal Studios!
- 5/5
Awesome room! Great staff, great restaurant- buffet.
- 5/5
Love this hotel, great location amazing food and great shopping.
- 2/5
Not a good experience. We wont be back.
- 3/5
Hotel stay was great, but the random hidden charges were ridiculous. "Complimentary" wifi was $13 per day, parking was $50 per day, continental breakfast was easy to confuse with the hot bar and resulted in a $12 charge, and then they tacked on $8.25 a day after checkout for a local ordinance that should have been included in the price. Be prepared to pay an extra $100 per night after "all fees included."
- 5/5
Hotel was clean. Staff were friendly. Waited until last day to sit in the hot tub, but they had it closed for maintenance. Quick and easy to get to Universal by way of a free shuttle.
- 5/5
No breakfast but they had a free shuttle bus. Everyone was nice.
- 1/5
Breakfast is over priced for a family. The cleanliness particularity in the restaurant area was an opportunity.
- 5/5
5 star service and amenities and walking distance to universal city walk.
- 5/5
Great location and the staff were incredible. Only trouble was connecting to the internet.
- 2/5
The room was nice and clean. The shower had no water pressure at one point. I thought it would turn off on me. The Facility adds a 27% Facility charge to your bill when you eat there when we ask our server about it they stated they do not like or agree with the charge and we can still tip if we choose to which we did. Get rid of the facility charge and allow your guest to tip their waiters bartenders. they deserve it and for this reason we will not be staying at this hotel again.
- 5/5
They even brought in a fan for my pre-menopause night sweats 😂 Such an easy walk to Universal. I highly recommend.
- 5/5
Great staff and location.
- 3/5
Second, I am handicap. When I purchased the rooms, I didn't know you could request walk in showers. The receptionist gave the walk-in shower to my daughter and not me. I had to climb in and out of the bathtub. She arrived much later to know she had the shower and we already settled in. It would have made it easier for me. Third, on our last day we realized the sheets on our bed had holes in them. Overall, I was disappointed. Especially it was Hilton. i held them to a higher level.
- 2/5
Room was small and not very 4 star ish, will definitely try the Sheraton next time
- 4/5
Loved the water filling station
- 5/5
Very spacious room, staff was incredible, the gift shop is open late which was essential as we got drinks and snacks each night after the park, location to Universal was excellent.
- 4/5
The hotel is so close to the Universal Studios, room is nice and clean, and all the staffs says “good morning” with a smile on their faces making the overall ambience of the hotel better than it already is. The only downside for me is the parking cost which is $50 per day, which makes your stay much more expensive, even more if you’re planning on staying for week. But overall great hotel, rooms and staffs.
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
dining available and staff were friendly. Near the amusement park so easy to get back and forth too.
- 1/5
Our room had bed bugs
- 5/5
Everyone was very professional.
- 4/5
Great location!
- 5/5
Staff and shuttles very helpful
- 5/5
I was promised to see the Hollywood sign. But in overall, I had a good experience. The bed was clean and great customer service and friendly staff.
- 5/5
We loved the hotel. We had a perfect view of the park, very clean, nice staff, & shuttle service was perfect. they also offer a store that offers anything you need or forgot at home. Will for sure stay here again next time we go to Universal.
- 5/5
Great room
- 5/5
Spotless room great view of universal!
- 1/5
Old hotel falling apart. The hot tub was so old it had plaster coming apart. Clearly had been patched up quite a few times. Food was expensive and over cooked.
- 5/5
More than enough room
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
We've stayed at this location many times and are mostly always happy!
- 5/5
Rooms are very clean. Staff are accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Great hôtel, excellent buffet breakfast and a great shuttle to Universal Studios CityWalk!
- 1/5
it was disaster experience, poor quality, expensive parking, and really poor room service
- 5/5
Bigger than we thought, very clean, easy check-in and very friendly staff
- 5/5
Great experience!
- 5/5
The room and staff were great. Héctor made sure that we received the right fruit plate.
- 3/5
Add towel bars, microwave. Engineering department took care of the refrigerator door fixed
- 4/5
Nice pool, good restaurants, nice room
- 3/5
Overall the hotel was beautiful and very close to the park but for as much as I paid I was very surprised that breakfast and parking was not free.
- 5/5
Cant complain about the stay at all. Super close to universal and service was great.
- 5/5
Nothing
- 5/5
The staff was courteous. Our only complaint was the hot tub was very dirty in the water and the surrounded cool deck. The pool area was nice and the pool was clean.
- 5/5
Bell hop was great
- 5/5
Easy walk to universal studios. Happy with the breakfast buffet at the hotel.
- 2/5
I love the water pressure in the bathtub and I appreciate the quantity of bath towels placed in the bathroom. But I’m giving them 2 stars because one of the baseboard in the bathroom was moldy, the carpet was dirty and the worse part was the bathtub patch on the floor, it was sticky and it was coming off from all around the corners, water was going into it and I’m sure it’s full of germs. And $60 for parking it’s also expensive.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Yes, room was spotless and the staff was very courteous
- 4/5
The weird thing was their "no tip" policy. The hotel has jumped on the trend to charge a mandatory 18% "service fee" for all services. So, no tips necessary, right, unless it's a genuine gratuity and not just a way to subsidize the company? But the room service staff makes it very clear that they don't get the "service fee." "Ahem." This is unlike every other hotel in existence which has implemented mandatory service fees. They make it SUPER awkward. But the staff in the bar are good with this policy and it's no big deal. Also, the hotel grabbing the service fee is weird. The hotel makes its profits off the 800% markup on food. Other weird things. The key comes with a nastygram threatening a $75 checkout fee if you're not out by 11:30. But on checkout, it's a cheery "drop off your card in the box, bye." Why antagonize their guests who are paying $400/night? It stinks of labor-management conflict and an MBA trying to make their name, managing by exception. As a GUEST, I could care less about their internal procedures and processes. And remember, this is all from a HILTON, the company that invented modern customer service. The food was great, but we had pizza one night that was bizarre. The flavors were great, but the crust was utter mush. It was warm, and hadn't been sitting. Bizarre.
- 5/5
Great stay if you’re going to universal studios
- 5/5
Yes! The room was nice and clean. Also the staff we encountered were all nice, friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The Hotel was beautifully maintained , the staff were friendly and welcoming!
- 5/5
Clean room, great bellhop, excellent help from the front desk.
- 4/5
Staff great, room great, pricey but worth it for access to Universal Studios.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!
- 5/5
Hotel amenities were great along with the clean room and easy walk to Universal Studios.
- 5/5
Noice
- 5/5
Room was very clean with an amazing view to Universal Studios!
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel and staff! Universal was so easy to get and from! The jeweler in the lobby was fantastic! Food was amazing! Top notch customer service by all staff members! and stay! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Room very clean and quiet. Staff at desk very courteous. Loved the shuttle.
- 4/5
The only drawback for me personally about the room was while the bathroom was clean and spacious I would suggest a towel rack being put in the rooms. Especially when you know that there’s more than one person in the room. There was only one hook for a towel to be hung so it made it a little challenging for that. Also an extra couple of hooks inside of the shower for people who use more than one towel to bathe would be helpful. Also, the sink in our room had a slow drain so almost 5 seconds into turning on the water, the sink would fill up. Lastly, I would suggest a shower liner in addition to the shower curtain just to avoid the cloth being inside of the shower and to help prevent water getting on the floor. Other than that, everything was nice. They have a shuttle that runs about every 15 minutes or so to and from the Universal Studios theme park which was great. I know it’s a far reach, but it would be nice if they had an airport shuttle as well.
- 5/5
All the staff were phenomenal. Hugely efficient and hospitable. Danny in particular was incredibly warm and helpful, nothing was too much trouble when helping me with my suitcases.
- 3/5
The room was great however our patio was not
- 2/5
The hot water in the shower never got hot. It was lukewarm at best. We had one coffee cup. The Starbucks that was located in the lobby, their food was subpar. They kept a display for sandwiches that they did not have. They didn’t even have a sign that said they were out of certain things.
- 4/5
Convenient hotel for visiting universal studios.
- 5/5
Great staff, great hotel, Hilton have it right
- 3/5
Room was in decent condition, not great but not bad.
- 5/5
The staff were so accommodating. I suffer from CIRS so they walked me to several rooms to see if they meet my needs. They were so gracious about it. Very attentive. Would def stay here again.
- 5/5
The Staff was Great!! The room was perfect. The Breakfast was you gave us was the best even the room service was wonderful. Thanks for a great getaway.
- 5/5
Staff was kind. Client and working lady near the lobby made it a little uncomfortable. Parking was very tight but still found a spot.
- 5/5
Extremely clean facility! Friendly staff! Highly recommend the breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
Staff, hotel, rooms, were amazing. Walking distance to Universal Studios. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The view was fantastic and the bed was like heaven. We always enjoy staying there.
- 5/5
Room was great housekeeping did a fantastic job. Front desk are friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
vibe! Loved the shuttle to universal
- 4/5
Expensive room and dining but very convenient if going to universal studios.
- 3/5
Great room. Nice view. Expect to have sneaky add on charges. Not so great at getting clean towels out as other Hiltons I have stayed at. While we was there they had water shut off for 8 hours. I think for the price it could be better.
- 5/5
Clean. No complaints
- 3/5
The temperature was also very inconsistent. It would be either too hot or mild
- 5/5
Walkable to Universal Studios, beautifully maintained hotel and grounds.
- 4/5
Clean room, clean restroom, good water pressure from shower! Enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 2/5
Room water was cold first night no hot water no compensation one bar of soap only 2 towels was not worth the money and charging 50$ a day parking on top of it you should mention that in your post somewhere would not stay here again
- 5/5
Thank you
- 4/5
Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, close to Universa.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing! I will definitely stay here again!

- 5/5
It was perfect and the staff was awesome
- 5/5
Great service, room was clean no complaints
- 3/5
Room, bed and proximity to the park were great, price for the breakfast was way off for what you get though
- 4/5
Overall was good. Room was clean and the service was good. But If we are informed in advance that there will be a charge for using the room's internal phone to contact the front desk or for services, we will not use it and would rather simply go to the front desk in person to inquire.
- 4/5
The room was clean and attractive. We had a leaky t
- 5/5
Room was perfect for the location.
- 5/5
It was one of the best experiences. Thanks to all staff
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and courteous. Loved the Christmas decorations
- 4/5
Starbucks and buffet available
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was very helpful
- 5/5
The hotel was clean. I like its proximity to Universal Studios.
- 3/5
Was allowed to check in earlier than expected to a comfortable room. The porters are welcoming and helpful. Hotel location is convenient with an option to take a shuttle, or walk to Universal Studios. However, the breakfast buffet had limited choices. I opted for Continental but was not initially advised of the two location sides, left and right to select choices. I felt there was inadequate food items to create a berry yogurt bowl. Only a few blue berries were scattered on the yogurt. I didn't see bananas or other berries, rasberries or blackberries.
- 5/5
We stayed 5 days and 4 nights and were able to walk to the city walk if we chose to. They had a shuttle to go to the Universal Studios and city walk. In addition They had a very polite staff, upkeep rooms and facilities including pool, hot tub, restaurants and cafe. Very quiet even though the hotel was packed full of people all the time. They offered valet and self parking fees but we preferred to leave our car at home as we flew in. We want to go back to the location next year. By the way the corner rooms are spacious and nice and we got a view of the Universal Studios and City Walk on the 20th floor room 2070.
- 2/5
Too expensive, yet nothing special with this hotel. Everything is too expensive and even the water in the shower is too slow.
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was great free shuttle service to Universal Studios.. its was just great stay.. highly recommended

- 5/5
Best hotel experience.
- 5/5
Excellent stay! Very close to Universal Studios! Few minutes walk 👍
- 5/5
We liked the avocado toast, but wished it was on sourdough as the cheese used made the bread soggy. And they forgot an order of toast, but we made do.
- 5/5
Keep up the good work. Everyone are awesome. Shout out to Linda from the front desk and Maria from Cafe Sierra. You guys are awesome.
- 5/5
Is one of the best Breakfast buffet that I ever taste

Friendly staff thank you Linda for letting us check in early. Took girlfriend and kids to universal studios and proposed. She said yes! The fiance and kids loved the hotel! We will be back
- 5/5
Clean and cozy room with a fantastic view. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and the location was great.
- 2/5
not that good of a hotel
- 2/5
Have stayed at your hotel over and over, but for the price and the fact rooms are looking little run down will be booking at another hotel next time. The check in staff was not friendly bordering on rude, over charged me for room and if your staying at your hotel parking should be a bonus for staying if you have to charge anything for parking at least only charge half to people actually paying to stay at your hotel
- 5/5
Excellent customer service. The room was immaculate
- 4/5
clean room, close to universal studios
- 5/5
One word, Amazing!!!!
- 5/5
Staff and amenities were fantastic. Special shoutout to Ariel Lario, who helped us have a wonderful stay for our anniversary. Proximity to Universal Studios is a plus and I do appreciate the wonderful view of the theme park from our room. Will be coming back here again frequently!

- 5/5
The staff was great and very professional.
- 5/5
The room was cleaned and serviced efficiently, Jerome was friendly, helpful and supportive in dealing with a booking error I made.
- 3/5
Property in desperate need of updates. Our hotel room door broke on the first day and wouldn't lock, the bathroom shower handle was broken and inoperable, old carpeting, peeling window treatments, fold-out bed was terrible, our neighbor blasted music starting at 6am 2 days in a row. Cannot recommend.
- 4/5
Clean rooms and very quiet considering it is right next to the park.

The room was perfect! Everything was exactly as I had hoped it would be. The bed and pillows were beyond comfortable. The service from the staff is top notch. The location to Univesal Studios is extremely convenient. We can’t wait to stay again.
- 4/5
Overall was a good stay
- 5/5
Always a pleasure staying here when we visit the park
- 5/5
Great hotel if you are doing universal.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 2/5
The hotel experience was not good overall especially at the price. When I visit Universal Studios, I will be staying elsewhere. The person I interacted with for room service that brought towels was kind but otherwise it was the opposite.
- 4/5
Our room smelled a bit funky but didn’t turn us away from it, the heater didn’t work at all unfortunately so we had to turn off the whole unit so we could get a little warmer. The room overall was nice and we were in attendance for the Japanese Food Expo, which was nice, a little crowded for such a small venue but it wasn’t the worst. Overall we had a blast!
- 3/5
Check in was wrong the room I booked I did not get only to be paid talk to hotels.com. Second the room was not ready upon 4pm with a lobby full of guest waiting for rooms mind you check in was at 4pm. Prob will never stay here again just didn’t like the experience.
- 3/5
not satisfied with breakfast availability and price

The staff was friendly, helpfull and quickly responded to my inquiries. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was pleased that they were able to get us a hypoallergenic room because we had worried about pet allergies at a dog friendly hotel. We did not have any allergy problems and we loved that the hotel is just a quick walk to Universal Studios! I would stay there again.

Room was awesome! We always stay here when we visit Universal Studios. Very clean and friendly hotel.

Cleaning Room, Quiet, Nice view

I never got a call back from management and was charged for a stay I wanted to cancel! Front desk said it was ok and Expedia said it was ok and I got charged! I did but the extra fee to cancel if anything comes up! Don’t buy through EXPEDIA. Go directly to hotel.

Everything was over priced. The room, parking, dining. I paid $24 for travel sized lotion ave travel sized deodorant. I paid $25 for a cup of Fruitloops Ave a banana for my 3 year old daughter. It was over crowded, the walls in the room were thin so we could hear everyone in surrounding rooms. They're was no hospitality or accommodations. Definitely will not stay there again.

Room was super clean, pretty, and comfortable. The staff were so amazing and accommodating, since we arrived early for our stay. It’s the shortest walking distance to the park, which was awesome. I highly recommend this hotel! I will be back in the near future.
- 5/5
Nice mattress and quilts and pillows. Like the room we booked and staff are friendly and professional!

Check in took awhile as there was only one staff member and a trainee at the front desk so a long line started forming behind us as we waited. Fortunately a second staff member appeared to handle the load. Gym was adequate with 24 hour access to the cardio machines. Strangely enough the weight room is only open between 9am to 9pm which is ridiculous. As a result nobody adhered to those hours and every time I used the gym, people were in the weight room outside of the specified hours. A good stay, no complaints. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Hotel location was great, rooms were clean, and amenities were good. The reason for the poor rating is the charges. Our hotel reservations were from Nov 12-15. We arrived Nov 13. I understand being charged for the room despite the late arrival but we were charged for an extra day if parking ($50/day) despite not even being there. Parking cost should be based on the days our car was actually there. The front desk staff was not helpful to resolve this. $50 is not a lot of a hotel but a family on a budget, it does.

Staff were very supportive. I had two different reservations and I didn’t want to checkout and check in again. They made sure to have my request taken care of.

Lovely hotel, within walking distance to the parks, great views
- 3/5
Property was good, a bit pricy if I might say… Sheraton is a bit better
- 5/5
still have one more day. Everyone is friendly and professional. Like it very much

The room was spotless! All the staff was super sweet and helpful! The view was perfect! Such a wonderful stay and beautiful hotel!

Staff. Very friendly
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and spacious. Property and grounds were beautiful. Convenient location to Universal and offered free transfers to the park and back. City walk very close by as well.
- 5/5
Love this hotel - it is across the street from the Universal Studios - a premium and convenient location.
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly staff.
- 1/5
The staff wasn’t very knowledgeable, almost rude as well. The breakfast was insanely expensive and wasn’t even that good. The Sheraton next to them has lower room rates, nicer staff and better food. I won’t be spending my money here again.
- 5/5
staff are unreal to help out .just what i needed universal vip day 5 stars rooms are unreal
- 5/5
Great room, great service, convenient
- 5/5
Stay for family , very comfortable for universal studio
- 4/5
Awesome hotel, great room and amenities; service and staff professinal and friendly. One caveot. Clarification on the continetal breakfast in confusing and having two different prices for food in the same area not only confused use, but several people in the cafe. Other than that, great! we'll stay there again!

We had several issues at this property. Hot water took over 10min to warm up in the shower. The food was disgusting. The staff was a mix bag… some were awesome and others seemed tired and

Only spent one night but the room was great! King bed, tons of space and a great bathroom. Would have been very happy there for a few days. 5 minute walk to Universal Studios. Staff were helpful and lovely.
- 4/5
Clean room, nice view, and nice staff
- 3/5
They said the pool was heated when I felt the pool it was cold. Also I got a few bug bites in my bed looked like a spider bite.
- 3/5
New more amenities
- 3/5
The good: nice rooms, comfortable beds, location is phenomenal for Universal Studios androom service food was very very good. To be improved: $65 a night for parking is insane! There should be a fresh bottle of water in the room every day not just the first day. Gift shop staff were rude.
- 5/5
We didn’t do breakfast but it was a great place to stay!
- 5/5
clean room, nice staff and proximity to Universal Studios
- 5/5
We found 2 small cockroaches. But the room and linens were very clean,so we told reception when we checked out. Figured the room just needed a little extra fumigation. Everyone working there was considerate and helpful. We would stay again.
- 4/5
I like to be away from that kind of stuff in my room so I didn't appreciate that. Other than that it was a perfect hotel, loved the room and amenities!
- 5/5
Room was very clean and comfortable and parking was easy to find and is close to the hotel
- 2/5
Unfortunately, we were not informed that the room we were provided with was a connected room. We were woken up early in the morning by someone attempting to open the connected door. When we let the staff know they didn't even acknowledge the issue.

I was placed on room 244 which is a basement, on a handicapped room without any advice.
- 5/5
Staff were great. All of them. Location is great. Clean, nice, friendly.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was handled efficiently, and the receptionist was exceptionally courteous and welcoming. The accommodations were impressive—spacious, well-appointed, and meticulously maintained. Overall, the hotel exudes a refined charm and offers a truly pleasant atmosphere for guests.

Good clean room
- 5/5
Everything about the hotel was lovely. It was just the pool area that was dirty, but it didn’t bother me much. The staff were incredibly helpful! I don’t think the texting feature existed the last time I was here, but it was convenient to ask questions, and the responses were swift.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
The room view was amazing!
- 4/5
The breakfast buffet is okay, but it needs improvement. The food lacks variety and flavor.
- 5/5
Room was amazing, 2363, bed was comfortable and felt so good after a lit of walking, Gal that made drinks at the pool .. I forgot her name (maybe Martine) made the most perfect drinks. Everyone was super nice.
- 5/5
Close to the park
- 5/5
Expensive hotel but worth the price. I will book again.
- 4/5

Shower is strong but not overbearing. Great restaurants and like that the pool is open late. Shuttle to Universal is free and drivers are friendly and very helpful.
- 5/5
While filming a movie there, it inconvenienced our pickups from ride shares
- 5/5
Place was great
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Everything was great, but the toilet in 2154 was running water and would keep flushing on its on. Other than that. It was great.
- 5/5
The food is good and its shuttle bus is convenient for us to go to the universal studios
- 5/5
Great location, for visiting universal studios. Self park is a little steep though.
- 4/5
Room was clean, comfortable and front desk service was good. The parking lot seems to be expensive compared with others in Los Angeles.
- 4/5
Had a five unwanted guests in room. Called hotel and the lady that answered said she would let the manager know but have heard nothing back
- 5/5
Great location, helpful staff, very comfortable room. Highly recommend.
