    Great! Staff at night was great. Stay was good. Only complaint is I wish the city of Rucson would fix the road to the property, ive been on better dirt roads than this. You can thank Tucsons Democrat, liberal mayor for that.

    Good size room, clean & good price. Would stay here again for a quick trip/overnight stay. The people staying next door were very loud, did not let us sleep. Bathroom was clean, but had a weird smell. Body wash dispenser was empty. We also had problems opening the door from the inside. Door handle got stuck. My husband had to use a lot of strength to be able to open it.

    My night here was much better than my next night in the area. I liked the room, clean, had micro and fridge, good bed, nice bathroom, etc. Parking was good, price reasonable. There were some creepy people around but, did not cause a problem. Seems to be in either an oder or industrial area. not much nearby that I noticed. I already have resv to stay here again.

    Locations was perfect for where we needed to be in Tucson, though some of the other clientele looked a little sketchy, we had no issues. Our Rooms were clean. And for the most part the Staff was friendly. Booked through Booking and picked the accommodations for a 2 king size bed room. Was informed after we arrived that they don’t have two king rooms anywhere on property. When I showed them my confirmation they told me to take it up with a booking.com which I did because we ended up having to put one of our guests on an air mattress because we were not going to put 2 adults and a teenager in one king sized bed. When I asked if we could swap to a two double bed room, I was told they were all sold out for the night. So we were out of luck and if I canceled right then I would be out my money for a late cancellation. If I had known I would have booked a different room or hotel all together. Plus I paid extra for a two bed room. $62 extra to be exact. My sister booked the same room but it specifically said one king through another site and got her room so much cheaper. When I complained to booking, they said they would talk to the hotel. And they got the same answer I did in person. They (the hotel) did nothing wrong. So booking gave me back 28.14 as a “courtesy”. That didn’t even cover the cost of the air mattress but I guess I should be happy I got something. Back to hotel,The pool could have used a skim, the door locks were difficult to get open. Which was an issue in our accessible room. The handle in the shower came off while trying to turn off the shower, and the toilet was so wobbly it clunked when anyone got up off it. Again it was an accessible room but this made transfers to and from the wheelchair/toilet somewhat like gymnastics. As our w/c enabled friend stated she didn’t feel safe transferring especially at night.

    Nothing This place has the rudest staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Luara should not be working in customer service! She could care less about customers or their stay! I spent a total of roughly 30 days here recently and had my room cleaned once! The most recent room had a dirty floor when I arrived and was infested with roaches! I had to cut my stay short and the staff refused to send me a email saying I checked out early! Also have not received my deposit for a room that was probably cleaner than I received it. I would sleep on the street before I returned to this red roof inn again.

    There wasn't much to rave about for the Red Roof Inn. Our first room had a non functioning TV/remote, phone, and cold water in the sink. We were able to change rooms for the second nights stay. The location isn't convenient to many restaurants or shopping.

    We had a horrible stay here. There were homeless people hanging around and loud people outside all night and smoking cigarettes. People like to sit outside by peoples cars and talk. People were outside our room talking and disrupted our sleep. The room and bed was comfortable but that’s not enough when you have your sleep interrupted.

    Problem was getting into room. First room door wouldn't open. Clerk said that was a bad one. If you knew it was bad, then why was I given room. Second room couldn't get the door open. Clerk came with me and said you have to pull the door before pushing it open. Worked after several tries. Same issue getting out of the room. Had to push door before pulling it open. Dangerous in case of emergency.

Difficulty getting towels, were out of coffee cups sometimes and creamer sometimes. And internet did not work on the TV despite someone coming to our room.

The room was a little tired - the door was a little hard to open, the bathtub showed some wear, the chair had a tear in the upholstery, the lotion dispenser was out,…but the room felt clean. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly. And it was super cheap. We came to visit Saguaro National Park for a few days and this was not much more expensive than it would have been to go campIng (couldn’t find a spot). I liked that the tv allow Netflix login as well. Its a basic clean room with friendly service at a very low price.

No wash cloths, no body soap in the shower, water barely dribbled from the sink faucet, no hand rails for getting in/out of the shower which was very concerning as a 75yo and no toilet paper dispenser, it just had two rolls on the back of the commode. Very comfortable bed and pillows however.

And they could not switch the room for us. We have to limit to go to outside in case we could not open the door. The room only provides two small towers. In addition, in second day, the key does not work because they only coded for one day use. But we paid for 2days stays. We have to ask the front desk to reload/code the key again. The front desk stuff does not have any apology for their causing customers inconvenience. Any way, I do not want to stay any Red Roof Inn, due to the poor room amenities, and worst customer service.

    Rooms were very clean! The parking lot seems safe and was reassured that there were plenty of security cameras. Pet friendly and there was a small pet relief area in the parking lot. There was a loud argument outside my room but resolved quickly without incident.

    Zero stars should be an option here. Hotel overbooked its rooms! I knew I was arriving around midnight so I called 3 times in the period 24 hours before my expected arrival time. I was told each time that the front desk is staffed 24x7 and that they would hold my room with 2 beds for me regardless of my arrival time because I had already prepaid for the room. I arrived at the hotel to find that they didn't honor what they said and had sold out of the room type I had booked. I am disappointed because I went out of my way to confirm multiple times that my room wouldn't be given away and was reassured each time that it wouldn't be an issue regardless of my arrival time.

    I got management to get the door tight to the frame so wind wouldn't blow into room, fix the striker plate so that the dead bolt worked, and the day before they thru my ass out they put in a new heating and cooling unit. I spent 14 days with no heat. I had 1 night of heat before they thru me out the next morning.

    Check in went smooth until we got to our room only to find out that room wasn’t supposed to be used. We get moved to another room and it was hot. We turned on the AC but since there’s a huge gap from the floor to the bottom of the room door the cold air doesn’t stay in the room. They should really fix that since bugs can come in or someone could toss something in while you’re sleeping if they wanted to harm you. In the morning we needed another bath towel since the room only had 2 and there was 3 of us. We went to the lobby and tried calling for TWO HOURS with nobody ever answering or being in the lobby (there was 3 other guests trying to get in touch with the office too). Had there been a big issue/emergency that would’ve been a real area of concern. We had to walk around looking for someone and when we did and told them we’d been trying to reach someone all she said was “Well we are busy.” They need to look into how they schedule workers because not having anyone in your lobby to assist your property guests is not good business.

    I have been a loyal Red Roof Inn guest for many years, and this stay was very disappointing and far below the standards I have experienced at other locations. The staff were unfriendly, rude, and not helpful at all throughout my stay, which created a very unwelcoming environment. I stayed in room 126, and the door lock did not open properly; I had to be shown “special tricks” by staff just to get into my room, which is not acceptable from a safety or convenience standpoint. Although the room itself was clean, the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism from the employees made the entire stay unpleasant. I respectfully ask hotel management and Red Roof corporate to review staff training and customer service standards at this property, as this experience does not reflect the level of service that regular Red Roof customers expect. I hope management will take this feedback seriously so future guests do not face the same issues.

    I been staying for awhile already, the place is alright, kind of dark to get to it, if the key doesn’t open, you have to wait outside the lobby sometimes because they only have one person working, asked for shampoo twice didn’t get it , the place is fine it just needs more attention, I thought sometime is it worth saving the 20 or 30 for the hassle, don’t know I’ll star looking again !!!

    1. walked in and closed the door to see daylight outside...weird. The door is a bit messed up too; it is hard to lock...only got it to lock once, put my bag in front of the door overnight... 2. TV says no signal. Front desk said, "try unplug and reboot, see if that fixes it." To her credit, she did call back and offered to come up and try it. I opted out. I'm watching my lap top. 3. Got in the shower to find NO soap or shampoo in the wall dispensers. Used some "emergency soap" I had in my bag. NO shampoo...ugh.... 4. Mopped up the floor I soaked, when I went to retrieve my soap, with the bathmat...filthy floors. 5. Comforter has a tear in it...just from being worn out. 6. Towels are low grade and small for bath towels. I get it. good stuff costs money and this is a big place. Maybe it would be better to shut down some of the rooms and keep the quality up to par. I don't feel like my expectations were too high. Why can't I turn on a TV and press guide to find a channel to watch? If the wall dispensers are to challenging to maintain, go back to the little soaps/shampoos. It should not be the responsibility of the front desk person to try to fix something that should already work. This feels like absentee ownership and they don't know what a mess the place is in. I'm in the service industry. You need to do better!

    Don't expect your door lock to work.. and don't expect to get your $100 deposit back anytime soon, regardless of what the very nice staff says or the receipts they give you regarding this.. if you don't have a need for this $100 and can wait indefinitely for it to get back to your account, this place is fine I certainly slept very well there.

    Check in was great, and the young lady was friendly and very helpful, room was nice and clean. Had a two night stay, my family and I returned to our room at 1230 am, card key did not open door, and I understand that, so went to office, sign on door “be back in 10 minutes”, and when the male returned he was NOT FRIENDLY, never smiled, and NEVER said one word to me…he needs to work on his customer services!     We ended up having to leave property and could not stay as they had bed bugs. We took pictures and showed employees. They were nice enough and cancelled our reservation with full refund which we appreciate however would NEVER stay nor recommend as bed bugs are no joke and once you have them they are extremely difficult to get rid of.

    What annoyed me the most was the $100 damage deposit. When we got in the room I noticed a hole in the wall caused by the door handle. I immediately notified the desk clear and she came to the room to document it. I also documented it with a date/time stamped photo. When I checked out the clerk could not find my $100 cash deposit. He called someone and they said they had deposited because of the damage to the wall. There was hesitation for returning my deposit until I told them I had a date/time stamped photo. My deposit was returned. We only stayed 2 nights. It seems to me they were a little over zealous about depositing my security deposit without even inquiring with me about the damage. Also, the dead bolt did not work and the door handle was very difficult to open the door. My female companion could not open it!

    The grounds are covered in cigarette butts and dog feces. The room was clean and the staff was nice but I would not say the property grounds are kept up and the patrons appear to be long term tenants. Did not feel like this was the safest hotel and would not stay again

    No working elevators. I was not able to access our room due to not being able to walk up the stairs..nor were there rooms available on the first floor. When I requested a refund for two nights due to my inability to access my room I was ignored. No call back or messages from the management regarding my concerns. Quite unexceptionable and unprofessional from Red Roof Inn. I won’t be staying here or recommending anyone to stay here.

    Me and my wife loved our stay your employees were kind helpful and respectful the property was very neat clean hardly any cigarette butts playing around hardly any trash anywhere housekeeping was excellent all being helpful courteous and willing to go out their way if need be so what I did not like about my stay was that we had asked plenty of times for clean towels or and shampoo conditioner so for our room they told us in the front desk that they didn't have any but they will get to us when they did and unfortunately never came up to give us these items so we had to go out of our way to a store and purchase these items not really big deal but a hotel that supplies so items because it's part of the hotel stay I would hope that they would keep up with that but LOL that we had a great time and enjoyed yourself no matter got little bump in the road so thank you Red roof inn and happy late 4th of July

    There were dogs barking and people talking and laughing most of the night and I got very little sleep because of it. I had booked another night at that same hotel for July 13 and I need a credit so I can book a room somewhere else because I am not going to stay there again.     I have been staying there already several times , this time they overcharged me with $25 dlls because it was Before noon , even tho they had empty rooms, i thought it was very unfair, so I don’t think I’ll ever stay there again, what about when I leave very early from there it’s been several times , didn’t hurt them at all to give me a room since they had plenty empty, so no I won’t ever stay there again and won’t recommend them as well

    The location was convient to Tubac & Tuscon's Speedway. The rooms were very clean. The bed was & pillows were okay (clean). Staff were very accomodating. Two doors down ( no one in between us) were so fn load with cursing and screaming, and they had little children. It was hard to go to sleep. In the morning, we woke up to the same cursing. I understand it was a one time situation. Yes, we called the office. Yes the people did quiet down. Only coffee is served. I would stay there again. It just stunk about the parents of the children having to listen to the parents foul mouth.

    When I got to my room in the evening the Pima County Sheriffs were there. Already not a good sign. There was a hall next door hosting a party...no big deal, but the party rolled into the parking lot around 12 am and continued for quite some time. For me, I can deal, but I know some who could not. When it came time to enter my room, the door handle could not have been more troublesome. I had to get the desk clerk (who couldn't be friendlier) to help me...TWICE! It took many attempts to get it just right. Not fun!

    We booked here because it was reasonable and close to the airport and our rental car company (Economy). No breakfast but that's what we wanted since we had a list of breakfast places to try! The bed was comfortable, hot water plentiful and the items for sale in the lobby well thought out. We had a little trouble with the key, but help was immediate. Overall, for the cost, a great place to stay. We'd stay again and if we revisit Tucson, we will!

    The first room we were in the under sheets were dirty, the bed bug protector had hair. They switched us to a different room amd the a/c hardly worked. We were extremely tired from the drive from texas to call the office again. We also didnt like how the room were NOT completely secured because of the huge gap under the door. I had to shove a blanket under. So we weren't extremely satisfied. We have 2 children under 3 you can understand we have to protect their safety.

    Find a better option for hotel. Traveled 9 hrs from Cali to Tucson was so exhausted went to check in .no one in office at all it’s locked. Called hotel no answer. Had to wait a hr and half for someone to open front desk. Hotel room was nasty there was bugs dead in bathroom on wall , on my bed there was footprints on sheets, air conditioning vent looked so gross and there was bugs in towels. Asked for towels and had to go down to office to get them. When I checked out still no one was in office at 6:30 am had to call # on paper that was posted on door. This hotel is not made for early departure or early check out . Save your money and find somewhere else

    Sketchy area that felt unsafe, room was dingy and floors were dirty, room smelled like cigarettes, AC wasn’t working, beds were uncomfortable. We had to change rooms because the AC was broken, the next room had semi working AC but it was so loud that we couldn’t sleep through the noise, the bathroom floors were covered in hair. The bathroom door had a hole kicked in. After the first horrible night I informed the front desk in the morning that I was moving to another hotel and was requested refund for the second night since there was absolutely no way o could stay due to the horrible accommodations. I thought that it was a beyond reasonable request to get a refund for the next night since I couldn’t stay due to the filthy conditions. They refused to refund. Hotels.com was little help. I would absolutely never stay at any Red Roof Inn again. By far the WORST place I have ever stayed in my life.
