The layout with a grassy area for the dogs. Ample parking. Family friendly Too noisy. Room was clean but the grounds were disgusting. Trash everywhere. Giant Roaches.

location - discovered new restaurant "Hawaiian Bros" right across the street. We both grew up in Tucson and there are a lot of new areas we have not explored. No hot water - we had to move rooms because there was no hot water for shower or in sink in the back bank of rooms.

The property was clean, comfortable and great location The beds were comfortable, but they were a little too soft. I like them a little more firm.

The Staff was Super ! Very polite and talked to you while looking you in the eye. A lost trait. Pretty Comfortable Overall. Let me just start by saying we have stayed in some very nice La Quinta Inns in the past. So they have kind of set the standard for what we expected from here. Unfortunately this was not the case this trip. The Curtin in that room looks like it is sunburned badly , and there was a Band-aid stuck to it on the left side. Not sure what that was about, but GROSS.. The Carpet next to the Bathroom entrance threshold was loose and had to watch stepping over that. Could be a trip hazard. The shower seemed as clean as it could get given its condition, but the area where the tub meets the wall could use a rework.

Beautiful outside. Staff was wonderful. Alot of resturants near by. Very centrally located. Bath tub had some mold. Could use a good paint job. Tub need to be deeper for people with disabilities..the one I was in. Tub look old and worn. Shower couldn't get temp where I wanted it took Luke warm shower..Ice machine by where I was at broken..breakfast. eggs were runny. No toaster or microwave so count have toast or warm up banana muffins.

The bed sheets were not clean upon arrival. The black bed skirt had some questionable white stains. When brought up they were less than apologetic or helpful. After the bed sheet was changed nothing else was cleaned or inspected. The bed wasn’t even done.

The hotel was close to the place we needed to be in the morning. Noise was heard around 9:30pm to 12 o’clock. Stomping, kicking, loud voices. Called management and they responded. The manager said he couldn’t hear the noise when he came inside the room. Also, that no one was in the room next to us nor above us. Anyway, the manager did ask whether we have had a good rest at check out. The noises stop and I responded that it was better after a while.

Had a horrible experience. We were in the king room with sofa bed. There was a hole in the sofa bed and no sheets or blankets were provided for the sofa bed when we asked for some, front desk said there wasn’t any. TV didn’t work and the smoke alarm kept going off.

The room was Dirty , stains on the sheets. Mold in the restroom. Dust in the crevices, blinds , desk. The toilet has stains was not cleaned . The carpet was filthy. I don’t like to ever give bad reviews but I had to leave. I was not going to put my children in the room. Staff was ok.

The room was clean and we had a balcony. The outside was terrible. Our door mat was filthy and the door itself was dirty. The stairs were dirty and trash laying around. I stayed 4 days and it never got better. Wyndham is not doing a good job of keeping up the property.

This was an older hotel with an outdated bathroom. The bed was too soft and had an obvious dip in it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Overall, a great experience, their socket did fry my phone charger when I attempted to plug it in. But the room was clean, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was decent.

Was not informed it was available. Checked in but wasn’t told much about property TV wasn’t working! Hair dryer didn’t work, told they didn’t have any extra! Had to go to (3) different ice machines to get ice. Toilet had piss marks which means room service is as poor! Pillow cases were old and had stain marks from years of service. Went to fridge and freezer door was laying on the bottom shelf.

Stayed here 8 years ago but it has gone downhill tremendously. The bed had hair in it (not mine) the bathtub in the room was filthy. Also questionable people hanging out in front of our room in parking lot.

Modern decor, some wear in some areas. Room was clean with no smells. TV, micro, frig, hairdryer, iron in room.

We really just needed a place to sleep. The showers were stained and the temperature was difficult to regulate at times. Regardless the room was fairly clean. We had a fridge and microwave. There was an area for our pet to use the bathroom if we needed. Pet deposit was very reasonable. The property really shined with the staff. We had the nicest cleaning lady who ensure myself and my kid's had clean towels throughput our stay. I think it was the maintenance man that I ran into and he was very respectful of my animal and asked before petting. I would stay here again.

The person that did the check-in for the room was argumentative and was also the manager. There were no issues being discussed, just casual conversation that he repeatedly tried to turn into an argument. There was a room on the same floor as our guest that we, sadly, booked into that hotel, and the door was wide open. The occupants were cursing loudly and there was a lot of traffic in and out of the room. There is no lift at the hotel and so our elderly guest was forced to carry his heavy luggage up and down from the 2nd floor because there were no openings downstairs. We should have checked on that before booking the room but didn’t see the “no lift” issue coming. The facility has been updated and freshly painted, but it is a glorified Motel 6 like you’d find off of the freeway, but at decent midrange hotel prices.

This hotel seems to be an older property. There were people hanging around in the evening, which made us feel a little insecure. It is close to the national Park. Continental breakfast was good, your normal free continental breakfast.

If you are ever assigned a ground floor room, make sure the sliding glass door actually locks. Ours did not and the front desk guy told me the bar should be sufficient. No. You don’t ever say that to 2 women staying in a room that is unsafe because the door doesn’t lock. Do better.

Thw only place to charge devices was at the sink srea, two dublex outlets and one didnt work. The sink area is not the bast place to charge devices.

I stayed there on March 7, 2026, upon checking in I requested a late check for march 8,2026. I was told by the clerk that she would notate my account that I would be checking out at 12pm. On the morning of march 8,2026 at around 8-9 Some man that I guess cleans the rooms started yelling “ house keeping” throughout the hall When he was outside my door he did one knock and just opened the door with his master key and just barged in my room. I was so freaked out and said, “ what the hell?!” He just stepped out and closed the door behind him. When I complained to the lobby they said they couldn’t do anything and that I could email the manager. Who is a horrible manager that never replies or gets back to people! She obviously doesn’t care about customers!!! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB because this is not the first incident at this hotel and it has never been taken care of! The manger refuses to reply. I do have the videos as proof of all incidents and email that I’ve previously sent her. I do know her name.

Horrible place to stay. Had to change rooms twice. First room toilet leaked and was next to the 24 hour gym. Second room the deadbolt worked not work and the tub was so gross that I couldn’t take a shower. Do not stay there. Don’t waste your money.

I was not aware of a shuttle. The room looked pretty clean, but I think there were bedbugs present. After the first night I had a few red places and by the 3rd night I was covered with bites. I have never had bedbugs before…so I can’t be sure.. but definitely had something.

Short stay near family. Staff was friendly and efficient. Beds were fine--appreciate actual sheets! The hotel is showing its age in some areas, but it's taken care of and quite adequate for our purposes. Quick hit, adequate, real breakfast items, and the staff there was great at keeping it serviced.

The room could have used some repairs. There was hardware missing from the shower/tub. The electrical power box was so loose and hard to keep things plugged in. On the positive side the room was clean and housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Wait time for check in could be improved. Some rooms should be reserved for people with severe pet allergies. I will not book this hotel again due to an allergic reaction to cat dander suffered during my stay. I inquired at the front desk before being assigned a room, however nothing was known about what pets stayed in what rooms prior to my check in.

The whole place is pretty poorly kept. The room was not clean, maybe tidy. Needed to work but the desk was in poor condition and had sticky stuff all iver it that i tried to clean myself but the desk felt like it would break.

The parking was very convenient and easy to unload luggage. The hitel is very close to several shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff was kind. The room was not very clean there was hair in the tub, and the floor in the bathroom had not been swept or mopped properly. There were dust bunnies and bits of paint on it. There was also pee on the side of the toilet. Breakfast was ok, kids enjoyed the waffles. Heater worked well at night as it got chilly.

Convenient location with comfortable & clean rooms. Service was friendly & prompt. Didn’t have breakfast so I can’t say how that was but… this is our second stay here. Only issue is the room deposit is still pending on my credit card 7 days after our stay - we were only there for a quick overnight stop. Odd, but not terribly inconvenient.

The building is old and dated. The maintenance and repairs are obvious, and look like they were done by an amateur. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was decent, average, nothing to rave about. Just okay. The AC worked but wasn’t necessary as the weather was cool.

The room was very dirty

Bathroom floor was pretty dirty. Looked like the curtains for the porch were grabbed by grubby fingers. Otherwise good stay.

Floor had broken corner at entrance area. Metal sticking out. Router at corner of ceiling blinking like a strobe at night. Had to disconnect. Front desk was informed twice and did nothing. Will not stay there again.

The front desk was left unattended for 15 minutes. No matter how loud we asked if anyone there we got No response. We had to go around the building to find the guy.

The bathroom was pretty gross, when I walked it shredded toilet paper on the floor and stuff stuck on the floor that looked like snot. I put towels on the floor and walked in my sandals on the towels

I stayed here for two nights and all was good except for the homeless picking through the trash and my bathroom had not been cleaned before checking in. Sink and tub were filthy and I cleaned it myself. Staff was very friendly, especially the gentleman there when I did my check in.

Property is in bad need of renovation. Shower and bathroom was so dirty and worn, I felt like I could not even use the shower. Inconsistent temperature in the shower, scolding hot to freezing cold and back and forth the entire time. Volume on TV broken, one level available which was super loud. Terrible experience.

Our AC worked but was very loud - like it had mechanical issues - and prevented us from getting a good night's sleep.

The worst La Quinta I've ever stayed with in my travels. The staff was moderately friendly although it feels like they don't want to be there. Last note, the bed is uncomfortable and the rooms are small.

Beds were comfortable. Furnishings and bathroom need updating. Good shower with plenty of water pressure. Fridge needs to be defrosted. Some deeper cleaning needs to be done.

Unfortunately, the usual fitness disappears, the long chairs for the swimmings pools also, but the hotel stays very good and the price is ok, like the breakfirst is also ok.

The front desk girl was really nice, but the room was ok for one night. The rub had a ugly grime ring. The first room, we got the lights were not working. So we got a different room that one was better. Bathroom was just super old. And there were some sketchy people in the back of the hotel.

The check in clerk was excellent, Crystal. The room could be less smelly and the sink area needs cleaning. Room is in need of updating. But, great price.

I paid 100 extra dollars for a night in which I slept almost until 1pm and woke up at 7am, I checked out and they didn't give me a receipt but they haven't returned this money. It's been more than 10 days, the room was in conditions perfectly and the breakfast was terrible, the rates don't match what they ask for a family room, more than 200 dollars for being a foreigner.

I rented 4 rooms total. Our room had a big gap on the door you could see outside. My mom’s was given a dirty room she had to move. My sisters tourist didn’t work had to move. Karina’s room had ants in it. She is still trying to have the manager refund her one nights stay because she rented 2 additional nights and was charged for 3 nights although I had already paid for one night with my reservation.

This property is a CATFISH. It looks nothing like the pictures and I’m not sure where the 5 star reviews came from. There are shady people hanging around the parking lot and dark hallway by the soda machine. They will also charge you a $100 deposit???? We had a trail of ants in the bathroom, entering and exiting a hole on the floor. We were moved to another room and the door lock didn’t even have power. We were then moved to ANOTHER room and there was a smell and there were dead bugs in the bathroom by the toilet. They looked like dead bed bugs. (I have pictures of everything) I immediately booked another hotel a block away, Hotel Hampton Inn and Suites ( with a $20 deposit), and we told the front desk we were checking out. She said she would put a note in for the manager for a “discount.” She didn’t even offer a refund. We never even sat in our room. As of right now they have not refunded my stay or my deposit. I’m out over $200.00 for a room that I couldn’t stay in. Hopefully the nice people at Travelocity can get me a refund. Also the Hampton was amazing! They did say alot of people leave La Quinta and check in with them. One guy said another customer left after he woke up with a live rat on his chest. The Hampton was only around $25 more and the room was immaculate. I really hope this helps someone. I was fooled by the 5 star reviews.

I read all of the great reviews before I chose this hotel and did not believe any of them. I thought "oh the front desk was bored so they did all of these reviews themselves!" Boy was I wrong. This place is as comfortable as a 4Star resort for 1/3rd the price. This was a staycation. This place had overstuffed matresses that were the most comfortable I've slept on since the Hilton I stayed in in Dallas. This place had a WONDERFUL hot breakfast. The rooms were clean and overfilled with towels and toiletries. The folks at the front desk were extremely kind and EXTREMELY Fast which I loved. The choice of balconies around the pool is one I will definitely make next time. The rooms had blackout curtains which are important in the desert summers. The A/C worked great as did the TV. When you stay in a newfangled Hotel you get shared A/C and when it's 114 degrees outside your shared can sometimes be lacking. Not here I kept it below 68 and the A/C didn't even struggle. Please believe the reviews they are real. Why this only rates a Good is beyond me. This place is run like a well oiled machine it's in tip top shape and I hope this review doesn't raise the prices too much! LOLOLOLOL

I rented a total of 4 rooms. Our door had a large gap, my mom was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. My sister was given a room that had a broken toilet and my aunts room had aunts in it. Both my mom and sister were given different rooms. Property needs a lot of maintenance. The staff was very friendly.

Staff was great. Location was convenient to St. Joseph's hospital and nearby medical offices. The facility itself appears in need of a lot of maintenance and refurbishing -- owners taking profits without reinvesting them in the property.

The room was clean and the staff was professional. I took a star off for the place being old and dated as you can see the paint peeling off the vanity.

Overall the stay wasn’t awful and they staff were attentive to needs but the maid failed to come during our one week stay and this presented some problems. Of course it was the holiday weekend so I’m accounting for the maid’s absence with such a holiday like the 4th of July in mind.

Room was dirty. Dirty drawers and lint and stuff under bathroom sink. Bathtub was chipped. Towels were extremely rough. Homeless people trying to get into the pool area and asking me to let them in.

Upon checking in, we waited in a lobby-full of people just to get into our room. Once we started unpacking our belongings and started trying to settle, we found brown/yellow clumps all over the bedding and the tv did not work. They moved us rooms, next to the boiler room, and was hot throughout the duration of the stay (this with setting the room temp to 66 and still insufficient) once settled into this room we continued to smell pockets of smoke and pee, and after the first night was all we were smelling. Included in our first day being packed with switching rooms and inconvenience after inconvenience, we got ready to go down to the pool to switch up the chaos.. the pool was closed during the hottest time of year due to someone’s child feces being in it… The breakfast bar was not stocked throughout the hours, and so my kids and I went without breakfast some mornings due to lack of options. There was a promo being offered at check-in where you could sign up for the rewards membership and if stayed 4+ consecutive nights, offered a two free night stay. We were in a position where we needed to utilize our 2 nights, since we had booked for a 6 day stay…. I spent a full day on the phone with reservations & rewards as well as hotel mgmt trying to book us our two free nights and was met with complete run-around each time, in the end being told I would not be able to use until 2-4 weeks after our checkou… the manager shrugged this all off at check out saying it was an Expedia problem

Enjoyed my 3 nights traveling from NM. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Only thing the hair dryer outlet wasn’t working or the hair dryer so I couldn’t fix up my hair. Lol Other than it was a pleasant stay. Continental breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to Caines and Dennys. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one week and everything was great. The staff was courteous, respectful and friendly. The rooms were clean, orderly and in working condition. The cleaning staff were helpful everyday of our stay and took care of us like family. During breakfast hours, there was great variety of foods and plenty of it, the staff kept coming in with more food and made sure milk, coffee and juice were full. We will stay here again for sure. Also pool was clean and fun to use, loved it.

Whoever has been giving reviews, have never stayed at a nice hotel; and not to mention the area is very sleazy. We didn't go because we were tired of driving 520 miles. The bathroom was disgusting and the tub look like it hadn't been cleaned in years!! We even checked the bed for bedbugs, and thank God the mattress was ok. That place needs to be taken out completely. Expedia shouldn't even advertise it.

Hotel room and swimming pool were great. Area has nice places to get meals. However, hotel needs to strongly improve their security. If not there already, they should have cameras covering property and someone always checking on safety of guests. There was incident when unknown male bother guests outside the room. Continuously to bother until guests outside room. When that person left or briefly disappeared. Guests (including kids) immediately checked out of room for fear of their safety. Staff failed to ask specifics on what was going when guest checked out and stated there was an incident. When reported incident to staff shortly afterwards, not very helpful nor shown any real concern. It is doubtful on returning back to this hotel. They need to improve their security and offer written guidance if such an incident were to happen for safety purposes.

The young lady at the front desk was excellent, friendly and informative. We like La Quinta's and have stayed at many over the years. It appears that some of them like Tucson East are being allowed to slowly wither away. While the room was clean and tidy, the bathtub should have been replaced years ago, and the shower is a 2 out of 10 at best.

The only things that so can say needed improvement is a green scrubby and comet to the bathtub. The bed was very comfortable.

Bed very comfortable. Really fairly quiet considering we were close to the pool. Stayed 5 nights and it was ok. Although one evening someone was smoking pot and the smell was wafting all around the inside of the courtyard. Breakfast options really limited. Not even any yogurt. Instant oatmeal available but did not see a microwave to prepare it. Could have been hiding someplace.

Could use some work: door mats, updating bathtub and bathroom floor, gate to enter the pool, sliding door to pool area, choices for TV channels. Overall a good experience, but a little updating would really make it a stand-out experience.

The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. There was no hot water in the shower and the bathroom sink would not drain.

Location of the motel was perfect for us. Very central to everything we were doing this weekend. Bed was comfortable. Bed was not made in the morning because we had “personal items” on the bed. It was just a pillow and a T-shirt so I felt like they definitely could have still made the bed. Carpets were dirty when we got there, and were still not vacuumed the second day. Ice machine was broken. Pool was cold but clean, hot tub was nice. Check in/out was easy. Overall a fine stay

Family one night stay. Pool was cold, but hot tub was nice (no bubbles tho). Breakfast was decent/okay with a variety of food items (yogurt, toast, oatmeal, cereal, make your own waffles, bacon, coffee, juice, and milk. Room was old and not updated. Morning sunlight shines through random holes in the front door. Screen was not on the track of the patio sliding door. Seemed like a really run down hotel, that could use some fresh paint and updating. A huge plus was that beds were comfortable!

Where do I start? First thing we noticed when we walked in was the smell. Floor was dirty, and by dirty I mean there was sticky residue by the front door, and there were stains on the carpet and let’s not start about the crumbs everywhere. After a long 8 hour drive, we walked in hoping to rest and practically did a 180 and booked at another place. Bathroom/bathtub was disgusting. Sheets looked dirty. Before we were able to even get into the rooms we had to go to the front desk and get new keys because they didn’t work. Thankfully hotels.com worked with us to get the nights refunded. When I spoke to the girl at the front desk to ask for a manager she was dismissive and said “my manager is going to tell you the same thing” (because they didn’t want to refund the first night), thankfully the manager approved the refund because there was no way I was letting my sick grandmother stay at a unhygienic place like this. Lesson learned- you get what you paid for. If you can, spend the extra $ for your peace of mind.

The hotel is nice, but we paid $15 per night for a room on the ground floor, and were given a second floor room without a refund of the $30. Our room key has not worked twice, necessitating running around back to the front, which isn’t easy with a baby.

I liked the balcony

Very conveniently located to Raising Cane's and Denny's (no car needed). If adventurous, and feel like crossing the 4 lanes of traffic, it is close to Mod pizza, Burger King, and Texas Roadhouse.

Great place to stay in the east area of Tucson! Hotel is in the middle of a high commercial area full of dining and shopping. Staff were patient in answering questions and taking time to show where amenities were located (eg, laundry room). Appreciated that the room had a receptacle for recycling.

It was average. Got there late at night. It was out of the way for us. But that's not your fault. It was ok, but the smell of weed coming from some of the rooms was awful. Sorry!

We had to wait 10 minutes at the front desk while the employee walked past us twice without acknowledging us at all while she was on her cell phone with a personal call. She wasn’t friendly at all and she didn’t give us the room we reserved, so I had to go back to the front desk again to get the room changed. No apologies whatsoever. Hotel was nice. Check-in service was appalling and unprofessional.

Clean and Cheap

I was dissappointed that I requested an accessible ground floor room and when I checked in there were none available. There was no elevator to my second floor room and I had a difficult time getting my luggage up the stairs. There was no notification on the website that there was no elevator in the building. And there was no one to assist me.

The facility was nice. But there was only one person working the front desk. It was very busy. When he had to leave the front desk for 40 minutes, there was nobody available for anything.

Good motel in excellent location. Fantastic self serve breakfast included.

The room was so dirty we asked for a refund. There was a pair of mens dirty underwear behind the bathroom door. The bathtub had several hand-sized spots were the smooth finish had peeled away making it unusable.
