All the staff I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. It made the stay more enjoyable. I will be returning when I am in town!

I rented five rooms for my son's graduation.And unfortunately, not all the rooms were ready.At the same time. Understandable as they explain that sometimes some people have late checkouts, which only allows them to have one hour to tend to rooms. However, the staff redeemed themselves when I came in later on that evening after graduation.And I did not have to do anything she had my keys ready.When I walked up. Thank you! The rooms were well maintained, cleaned and comfy

It’s very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows for me was like sleeping in the clouds! The breakfast was tasty. Parking lot was close to the door and it was good overall. I would stay again for sure.

Pros: * Breakfast (6 a.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. weekends) was pretty good, in terms of quality and variety. * The hotel is centrally located - less than 10 minutes to U of Arizona campus or downtown. * Within a block of I-10 (but no noise issues). * There is a gas station adjacent to the hotel for easy fill-ups, if needed. Cons: * Accessing the hotel's driveway was awkward. You pass under I-10, switch lanes, pass a traffic light, and then have to get into a short semi-lane to wait for a gap to turn across traffic to get in. Not horrible, but it was always a final, mild challenge when returning. * The area around the hotel was a bit sketchy. They don't seem to have an issue with their parking lot, but some of the people hanging around the gas station next door seemed like you'd be better off avoiding them. The room was adequate for 3 people, but the sofa bed was not the greatest. If you are not getting breakfast at the hotel (for whatever reason), there is a Waffle House across the street and an IHOP about a block away. There also was some sort of Crab Shack restaurant next store. Those appeared to be the only restaurants within walking distance and we did not visit any of them. If I returned to Tucson, I'd consider staying here again, but might also shop around to compare other places.

The breakfast setup is great with a great variety of choices. This was the best contintental breakfast for our trip. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Nothing they can change but their location is close to the freeway and busy neighborhood.

It’s next to a homeless hotel,the in house restaurant is front staff run but that are out of food except for wings and hamburgers . Our show cancelled so we just went home !

Overall, you get what you paid for nothing more and nothing less. It was very noisy both in the building and outside.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I have never had a worse experience booking with any other hotel. They make false promises and Alyssa even made a racist remark toward me. They sold the room I booked and told me it wasn’t available. Then had security remove me after I called the police because they denied me my room and my money back. I never got to stay here nor did u receive my refund. The manager Leah called me a liar and stated none of it ever happened. This place seems like a cult. They do not care to please their paying customers. Save yourself a headache and a night on the streets and book elsewhere.

Room was very clean. though they use liquid soap for the shower so no soap at the sink for your hands. You have to use their glasses for washing...no paper cups...very ecological...Basic breakfast but good clean food. Coffee isn't much flavor. All in all friendly good staff, very clean room and easy parking on the side of the hotel.

Not much close by but good for and over night. My room the AC made so much noise it was distracting and impossible to sleep.My saving grace, I have hearing aids and I couldn't hear it once I took them out. This is wilting Violet but very good sleep comfort and good Internet AC noise

The location. The pictures look nothing like the location. Very shady location. Homeless people with Gas station in same parking location I guess nothing can be done. Security should definitely be around 24/7.

Shift Upon discharge from Hospital to Hyatt Place Tucson my elderly spouse and I would never have made it to the room if not for the kind help from such professional, courteous, thoughtful, staff. Parking very convenient. Pool and hot tub area so clean and appreciated.

Property was fine for one night and interior was clean and served its purpose. Staff was nice but they gathered outside together at night to smoke in front of the property which was not very classy. Right outside the lot were homeless people sleeping, etc. The area did not feel safe. But the doors to the hotel locked so it was secure.

I chose this chain hotel since I know what to expect. And they are pet friendly. Which is a plus since we are traveling with our miniature schnauzer. Their breakfast is outstanding!! Their lobby is clean and inviting. They have plenty of parking space as we were moving from one state to another and had a U-Haul and his car tow behind. Easy access to and from I-10 East. Unfortunately, the area is a plight. There’s a Circle K as you enter the property with homeless people/addicts hanging out nearby. To the right of the property is what looks like an abandoned motel but looks like had residents. I actually felt apprehensive as we arrived late and it was dark. The staff was friendly and polite.

The bartender made a point to tell us how limited the bar was by saying anything thats on the menu is not available. The whole top shelf was displayed empty tequila bottles. I have stayed at many Hyatt's for their amenities and this one was bottom on my list. Ended up having to go out for food and beverages.

It was horrible. We went out for dinner and when we returned to the hotel, all the power was out on everything. Super dark, and it was getting really hot without the air conditioning. I requested any commendation and they weren’t able to offer anything. I requested a full refund and left the hotel.

The amount of homeless people wandering just outside the hotel in the parking lot was a little sketchy, especially for a risk of a car break in. Exterios was litered with debris unfortunately. The staff was so friendly, accommodating and just great. There's a free breakfast buffet in the morning, lots of local restaurants and a bar in the hotel. The only issue we had was putside the hotel. There were people gathered at the bus stop and corner all night long. But the hotel does have security that patrols all night.

The location is very good as there are many restaurants around it within walking distnace. It is right near the highway for ease getting around the city. The TV choices were excellent. The staff was super friendly and wished me a Happy Mother's Day. Breakfast was very good and offered an ample choice. The beds and pillows were very comfy and the room was very clean. The air conditioner in the room was very noisy, so much so we had to turn up the TV hear the program. We could hear the net room's TV through the wall. But, the pool area was disgusting. We have a pool ourselves and know what is needed to care for it properly. There was algae growing around the sides. There was bird poop around the ladder as we observed many pigeons sitting on the top step to drink the pool water. We had to ask for towels at the desk as there were none in the armoire at the pool. The water was cold in both the pool and the spa. Very disappointing as I chose this hotel for its pool.

The room was laid out nice, clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable and had coffee, microwave, and frige. Was quiet and the breakfast was above the normal breakfast, wonderful selection of food. Worth the price!

Lack of parking and all the signs in the back parking lot telling guest that the hotel is not responsible for theft, vandalism, etc., etc. This made me apprehensive to stay here before I even got inside.

Very convenient and even amount of time to travel to places we went. The breakfast wasn’t very good. But everything else was perfect.

Had to pay an additional 45 dollars for “early check in” but it was listed at 25 dollars originally. But we even called the day before and we were told we could check in whenever free of charge. We came back right at 12 and our room was ready even tho we called 20 mins prior and the previous party was still there. The toilet didn’t work, we had to stick our hand in the top the toilet and pull a chain for it to flush. The toilet paper holder was also broken. No safe in the room. The WiFi wasn’t working and when we tried to connect to the TV, the WiFi that was listed was not available so we weren’t able to watch anything except the channels listed. We asked to get our room serviced and we received no new clean bedding, and a dirty blanket. Pool was very dirty and did not have any maintenance to it. Not In a safe location, homeless people everywhere - I understand that is Tucson but it was so easy for a homeless person to come into the hotel and wonder around.

Would have been nice if they had an evening chef so we could relax and not drive anywhere. They suggested a place in town but it was very busy. Overall a very nice stay.

If your pool and jacuzzi are closed for maintenance you should inform your guests ahead of time. It was the main reason we picked this hotel. Only stayed one day and moved to another hotel. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the staff is great. Safe area.

The only downside would be, I called to schedule for housekeeping the next day and didn’t get it. From there on out, I’ve always loved staying at these hotels, always clean, breakfast never disappoints and the comfort is a thing to right poems about.

Other than that though the service was amazing! The hospitality of all staff from the maids, front desk, and cooks etc were SUPERB! Everyone was so nice and genuinely cared about you and helping you find plans for the day! The rooms were great! Beds were comfy! Everything is amazing! We would definitely stay again!

Property needs a update or upgrade lights are flickering, some citing is falling off and the evelator is in bad shape i love Hyatt hotels but this one is in rough shape. But the customer service is top tier!!

The bacon was burnt and the waffles overly crispy! The coffee had lots of grounds still inside after brewing. They had a bar but the check in clerk often moonlights as the bartender. The issue is she had no clue how to make any drinks lol. In the end this Hyatt was a 3 out of 5 for me. Ive stayed at several Hyatts before and this one is not even on the same scale as the others. Finally the location is very shady. Lots of homeless in the area, they didn't bother us just know the area has lots of them. There's nothing nearby thats even remotely worth going to. Horrible check in….room not ready still at 5pm and ended up in a room different than I reserved. No compensation given…also no ventilation and window wouldn’t even crack open. Staff was very grumpy from the cleaning crew to kitchen staff that we observed. Also neighborhood very sketchy. Will not stay here again.

Tuscon needs to do something about the homeless problem in the area. Did not feel safe when outside.

Quite location and clean room

The hotel is in the middle of the Tucson ghetto! I was afraid to go out to my car at night. Pool was a rundown pond! Ridiculous!

This hotel is great! We loved the room setup with the king size bed and living room area with a relaxing couch! The staff was amazing!

Nice standard hotel

The 2nd major issue came when we tried to shower. I say "tried" because there was no hot water. The front desk told us this was an ongoing issue that he could have fixed in 30-45 minutes. Excuse me??? This hotel regularly doesn't have hot water??! On top of these major issues, the parking lot was covered in trash and the pool was filthy. We'll never return nor recommend this location.

Stayed here for two nights while looking for a place to live since new to Tucson and the neighborhood/area not good. Lots of homeless people walking through the parking lot and people strung out sitting out front by the turn in. Our first room was not clean there was dirt and shoes prints all over and dirt in the tub along with pubic hair. Staff was accommodating and moved us rooms and the second one was better but not great. The siding outside of the hotel was falling off and the elevators seemed old and a little sketchy. Definitely would not come back.

The hotel was great but the walls are very thin. We could hear conversations in the next room. When they used the blow dryer it sounded like it was in the room with us!

Great hotel, very comfortable beds and pillows, the only thing is the area is not the best. A lot of homeless and drug users around, but none on the property and don’t get near hotel.

Stayed 3 nights, housekeeping not done the next morning. Had to go ask for clean towels. Second morning, beds were done very sloppy and nothing else was cleaned.

Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. The area the hotel is in is not the best. So many homeless people outside of the hotel and in the parking lot. The trash cans inside by the elevators on each floor were always full. The one of the fourth floor had the same trash in it for 3 days. People would leave bags of trash next to it. Used the hot tub one night and this homeless woman kept coming to the gate asking us to let her in. So we left the pool area.

Everything was excellent.

Biggest issue was that I chose the hotel based on the understanding that there was a restaurant and grab and go lunch options but the restaurant has been closed for a long time and no immediate plans to open it.

The front reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a nice, clean room and breakfast was excellent. As others have said, the area directly outside the hotel isn't the greatest, but it didn't spoil our stay and we had a couple of great days out in the national park.

Booked one type of room and received a different one. My room faced the freeway-waaaaay too noisy -would recommend requesting a room on the other side. Breakfast options were awesome!

From the smoke smell coming into my room I had to put pillows on my door for it to not drift into my room, the carpet was crusty, the area is next to a run down motel with homeless people next to it, dog barking both nights I was there, just shady, made sure I was in hotel before dark, some stains on wall, will never return here.

Hotel staff was very nice and breakfast service was exceptional. Room was clean but is in need of a significant update (still has popcorn ceilings!). Parking area is filled with homeless people and a bit sketchy if you’re coming in after dark.

The traffic noise from the 10 freeway was excessive. Other noise came from the hotel next door. There was trash all over the parking lot that needed to be cleaned up and there were sketchy people hanging out on Grant St in front of the property.

The air conditioner sounded like an 18 wheeler truck. The shower was dirty. We couldn’t sleep due to the noise, so we left at 3:30 am. The man at the counter could not even ask if we needed a receipt or if everything was okay; he just kept typing on his laptop. I have NEVER had this bad of service at a hotel. I was very disappointed.

The door on our original room was broken- you had to lift it up to open or close it. We moved to another room and it smelled so awful. I recognize it as a sewer gas smell from the bathroom (my brother had this issue when he was working on a house). If we hadn’t already moved rooms once and weren’t so exhausted, we’d have moved again. Kept the bathroom door closed all night and we were able to sleep but it was pretty gross

It looks like nobody vacuumed our room. There was garbage on the floor. There was no liners in the trash cans, and the shower was stained.

While the hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the free breakfast was descent, the area around the hotel was awful. We felt unsafe going from car to hotel. A lot of unhoused people doing illegal activity.

We checked in saw the room Nextdoor had been attempted to be broken into checked out immediately we shall be requesting a refund from Expedia

Lots of homeless around the hotel property!!

Rooms were clean. Doors were loud and didnt close easily. Pool needs attention. Fire pit doesnt work. Breakfast was good. Area around property homeless walking and sleeping everywhere.

Rooms were really nice - big and comfortable. Unfortunately, the air conditioning on our floor was broken (but not I the rooms themselves thankfully). Breakfast in the morning was wonderful - probably the best hotel buffet breakfast that I have ever had.

Hotel was rundown.

Great property in a not so great area. Excellent breakfast, rooms very quiet, likely due to concrete structure, not wood trusses between floors! Good condition of rooms, tv has good channel selection, but no guide, which is disappointing. Good size room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Nice walk-in shower too.

The pool was disgusting and our room was not cleaned properly and the sheets were dirty.

The staff was great. Greeted everyone and genuinely tried to make certain everyone got the support they needed from room changes, extra towels, and dining recommendations.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean. It’s in an area where homeless people are sitting around the area.

Waited 10 minutes to check in, was not upset as he was cooking pizza for a family. Restroom in room was unclean, trash in the receptacle toilet not flushed. The pool had bird feces all over as well as wasp. The bugs were collecting in the pool. Several of the lounge chairs were ripped and should not be put out. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast bar was great. Overall, the stay was fine. They need to double check the maintenance and cleanliness. I didn’t pay high amount for the room, so I guess I got what I paid for.
