Room was clean but showing it's age. Sink drained very slowly. For the price it was ok. Breakfast was better than most. I liked that they allowed pets but have no pet areas outside. If your going to allow pets give us a place for us to take them.

Staff did not inform us the hot tub was broken, even though we told him specifically that we were planning on using the hot tub after a long 12 hour drive.

Convenience (closeness to airport), very friendly and helpful front desk clerk, accommodations were very clean and adequate for my needs, quiet. Lighting is terrible, especially around sink. Normal lighting should be an option if the dim lights are for ambience. I always prefer having a microwave but I understand these are not provided much any more in many hotels.

Great location to catch an early flight. Shuttle to airport is only scheduled once an hour, but staff was flexible for our very early flight (we were the only ones on the shuttle).

He picked me up with the shuttle, checked me in, helped me with my bags and answered all my questions. It was the best check-in experience I've ever had! Extremely quiet location despite its proximity to the airport, one of the best values for a hotel stay in recent times and a great breakfast in the morning. Richard, who checked us in, was very nice, and the rooms were lovely. The shower was great, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the decently sized refrigerator and the Dove bathroom products. The breakfast was pretty basic. Not bad, just lacking in options.

I called for a possible early check-in. When I arrived my room was not yet ready but Richard went above and beyond to get me moved and checked in. He was very friendly and helpful. Outstanding guest service!

Room was fine tho it lacked a microwave; but there was one in the breakfast room to use, which worked well. I asked for a top floor and they did give me that, and their elevator is right at the lobby vs one of the other nearby hotels where you have to lug your suitcases etc way down a hall. I also like that the hotel sits a bit back off the main road, tho its likely not busy at night anyway. shuttle was free but only ran once an hour; still can't complain. They had original (not sweet- yay) oatmeal; I usually cannot eat anything at the breakfasts as I am gluten free Shuttle twice an hour would be preferable Of course you hear some planes taking off but can't expect anything else since you are right at the airport. For me it was not a problem

One of my favorites. The inconsistency of rates from one week to the next. Also, my bedding had someone's dried blood on it. Was not expecting that and that is why I marked a couple of categories lower.

It was in a good location and cheap You get what you pay for. The floors were dirty and furniture was sticky. They need to deep clean their rooms and stop whatever cleaning product they are using. Also, the guy at the front desk seemed like he hated his job and couldn’t be bothered.

Because I had a 6 AM flight, I asked for a 3 AM phone call so I could prepare at 4 AM for a 515 boarding. While I had my iPhone with me, I was hoping they would have the courtesy to wake me up as well. They did not, and they didn’t apologize.

The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good. But what stood out was the young man who greeted me and got me checked in. If I'm remembering correctly, his name was Richard. He was very nice and friendly. Helped me with some suggestions for some local fast food places. He offered to help me with my luggage but I had it handled. Whenever I passed by the front desk he had a smile. My wife had left her fanny pack and phone on a table in the lobby and when he saw it, he made sure it was put away safely behind the desk and even put her phone in the safe to make sure it wasn't tampered with. Very nice young man. A true stand out. Really not much I can say I didn't like. It was a good stay.

It was a lovely one night stay. The room is a little dated, but clean. The pool and hot tub looked inviting although I did not use them. Breakfast was good. Typical scrambled eggs, potatoes, etc.. You have to call for the shuttle when you arrive at the airport, but I was not told that I also had to arrange for my return to the airport ahead of time. There was no one staffing the front desk in the morning while I was having breakfast so I waited for the shuttle to come and it never did. Finally, the manager came to the front desk and I asked about the shuttle and was told I was supposed to arrange it beforehand. She was kind enough to drive me to the airport herself so that I could catch my flight.

The room was large, plenty of space, and very quiet. Parking was great, was able to get a space right outside our room. The room was on the 1st floor, no stairs for our stay. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was very good.

I love the auto response after a review is submitted. Instead of responding we are sorry your stay was less than acceptable we will work to improve our Hotel.

Clean room and friendly staff. However, please be aware their pool is closed September to May. It was 90F in Tucson the day we were there and nothing in the reservation system I used had alerted me to the pool being closed.

Location proximity to airport was great. Easy, free airport shuttle service. Felt safe, as no outside access to rooms; Only interior access. Parking lot was well lit. Plenty of parking. Bed was comfy. Full breakfast: , eggs, waffles, juices, etc Staff was kind and helpful. It was rated 3 stars, but was a 2 star motel. Towels were thin. Pool didn't open until following week, it would have been nice to lay by the pool in Tucson in April. I was there on April 23, it was 89 degrees.

I chose this location so I would have a tub. The room is originally booked was dirty, at 8 pm, so they changed my room. I explained i did not mind as long as it had a tub. I was placed in a handicapped room with a roll in shower. I went back to the front desk and was reassigned to room with a tub. Sadly, it did not have a stopper and the overflow looked like it would drain out to the floor. The water was baby bath warm, not good for soaking sore muscles. I did not change rooms a third time.

The first room they gave us had stains on the bed cover and the sheets. The second room had a hairy tub and the couch smelled like dog. The room had a poopy smell. Wont be retuning.

Staff not helpful. On his phone the entire time. Requested bathtub but there was a ‘note’ that they removed the drain plug because of high water use. Dirty, and very outdated decor, if you can call it decor. Will not stay again.

Great location. Near very good restaurants no matter the cuisine that you prefer. The breakfast was decent. The staff in-charge of the breakfast always makes sure all stations are full. The front desk staff are always very helpful- above and beyond! The parking lot is well lighted and we feel safe. If you want to go to Tucson proper, is not a long drive. If you want to go to Tombstone is not a long drive either. Airport is very convenient. I would definitely stay again.

Overall was fine

The staff were very kind, and the room was immaculately clean. It was easy to schedule the shuttle for my early morning departure. I believe some repairs are being made so there was no water in the pool or the hot tub, which was fine for me as my stay was very short. The front desk staff double as the shuttle drivers, so while they are taking people to and from the airport, you may have to wait to get assistance at the front desk. Luckily the lobby is quite comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay

We were told and booked adjoining rooms. I called the hotel to verify that was the case and told that was correct. When we arrived that was not the case and I had to "up grade" my room in order to receive that. We also had many hairs in the showers and beds.

The place was okay for one night. The room wasn't very clean, the furniture was showing too much wear. Parking was easy, and it's right next to the airport for an easy departure after a night's stay.

Parking was great! Breakfast was good except the egg patties tasted like they were made with fake eggs…

Hotel needs update. The hotel property and rooms in general for the price were okay. If you’re expecting a super clean accommodation, the Baymont in current condition is not your place. Reception person was okay, lacked inviting customer soft skills. He simply filled the job and complained about long working hours. He was okay. I sadly misread that pool and spa were seasonally closed. Super disappointed when all other hotels in Sedona, Mesa and Phoenix had open pools, I simply looked at the pics. The pool and hot tub were super important to me. Missed breakfast, left early. Parking was good and easy. Will not stay at a Baymont by Wyndham again. Pillow and pillowcases has weird stains.

Older hotel that has not any recent updating. Underneath beds and night stand years of dust/dirt. Carpet, furniture worn & scuffed up. Slow drain in sink. Pictures online (hotel.com) look way better than what it actually is. Staff at late evening check was spectacular though, very nice and accommodating.

Bed bugs! I got eaten! Had to get out of bed at 2am to evacuate room. Also, shower curtain had two colors of what looked like sh!t (one streak & the other a piece). I will be seeking

Pretty old and dated which made the room look dirty and not well maintained. The beds we had were loud and squeaked with every movement. I had someone else’s hair on my bed so it made me question if the sheets were even changed. It’s an “ok” place to stay if you just need to lay your head for the night or if you’re on a budget. We were on a road trip and just needed somewhere to shower and sleep for a few hours. The hotel was perfect for that. The breakfast was just ok; cereal, bagels, toast, powdered eggs, and waffles. The staff was very kind and helpful so that’s always a plus but I don’t think I will recommend anyone to stay at this hotel chain.

But all else were great and I would recommend this property as a no frills but clean and safe place to stay that is not hard on the budget. The gym had three pieces of equipment: weights and bench, treadmill and broken elliptical. We chose this hotel for location and gym. We won’t be returning.

Everything you would need in an airport hotel, including early morning coffee ans a shuttle to the airport (though it’s less than 10 minutes on foot). Also, there’s a terrific Indian restaurant just up the road, attached to the Wyndham.

Booked this property and was VERY MUCH disappointed. Pictures on the App DO NOT match how the rooms actually appear. Staff was friendly but absolutely not helpful on honoring me with a refund. Do not stay here!

Staff was very friendly! My stay at this hotel included myself, my husband and two of my children. I had to push the bed near the wall so my five-year-old would not fall off the bed. It was a very filthy under the bed! There was trash under the bed. You can tell it had not been cleaned under the bed in a very long time.

Airport shuttle was easy but lacking flexibility on timing and schedule. Some staff were friendly but not all. Room was decent but nothing special. Breakfast was mostly bread items. No restaurant on site and I felt like the location was unsafe to walk to nearby restaurants. I probably won't stay at this property again.

The pillows are half the size of regular pillows. When i asked for extra pillows from the young attendant at the front desk, he said theres none available and there wont be any pillows available at all. When i asked again with the female attendant in the evening she looked for some and gave me the pillows I needed even with blankets. The food is subpar. Eggs everyday and no protein varieties. The hot mode of the water dispenser does not work. The tap water is very cloudy, seems not safe. I am very disappointed.

You can hear every noise in the hallway as well as above you, in the parking lot, shared walls, etc... BRING EARPLUGS. The comforter was so gross and had black marks and dirt all over the foot of it. The room REEKED like a bottle of Pine sol to the point I left for a very long dinner and only came back to go to sleep and left super early in the morning. I almost walked out and rented another room somewhere nicer, despite losing the money. Had they refunded me, I would have. Lesson learned! Never again! Moved to Hacienda del Sol for the next several nights and it was 100000x nicer and worth every penny!

Dirty room

The room was filthy. We found cockroaches dog food put on the curtains blood on the shower curtain and on the shower floor we were not able to shower there. We were not able to clean up there. We had arrived after 2 AM and therefore we were stuck with this room. We would like a full refund ultimately it smelled like dock not to mention the smell of dog was so strong I had to bury my face.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. The shuttle from the hotel arrived quickly and when asking the staff for recommendations on good local, walkable food spots, they were very helpful.

The room auto-cancelled at 3am on our record breaking 2 day 15 hour per drive from Canton TX to Concord CA. In a super heroine move, Angela fixed us up for the perfect rest at our halfway point, reversing it & treating us like royalty. Huge props to her & this location. What a dank cozy pad.

We were in Tucson to visit family. The location of this hotel was great, the room was clean and everything worked well. We never had difficulty parking and the area seemed good. Breakfast was pretty average for hotel breakfasts and there was always someone there taking care of things. Breakfast was the same all three mornings, no variety whatsoever. It was OK but got old.

All of the above, the room was clean, the staff at the front desk was helpful, kind, and courteous all of that indeed made my stay a pleasant one

Yes.. clean and comfortable. Friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was crowded and hardly any selection but this was probably because of many families travelling.

I expect more but it was affordable and manageable. Staff was amazing . Water definitely needs work comes out foggy , breakfast could have some type of protein other than thick eggs

Staff that tell the truth when you call ahead of time to find out details about breakfast or those going to the airport extremely early.

Check in was disappointing. Clerk sat behind a pretty tall counter, couldn’t bother to stand up which made it a bit difficult to hear him. He wasn’t rude…just basically doing the bare minimum required.

The staff was very courteous, the hotel manager was very helpful but the chair in the room was broken and the bathtub was very slippery if you was taking a shower it needs anti skid tape to keep you from slipping and falling also the breakfast has a lot to be desired.has a lot to be desired

There were pubic hairs left in the shower. The toilet paper was so cheap it dissolved on contact with a drop of liquid. There was no lotion & soaps were not eco-friendly. Worst of all they served coffee & breakfast on polystyrene/Styrofoam! I also had to wait 30 minutes for the eggs to be refilled. There was also no where to sit once I got my breakfast.

Since I left very early to catch my flight, I was unable to avail myself of even their continental breakfast

All the lighting in the room was dim even the vanity light was dim. The tub in room 117 drips constantly The shuttle driver Jose was very nice and friendly. Overall a good stay.

Breakfast could have a little better selection to much carbs, eggs tastes nasty, they could do better. AC to loud & didn't keep the room cool 😒.

Pillows were worn, end of life, stained pillow cases. Dirty room. Vending machine stole my money. Car theft is a problem here, there were warning signs everywhere. Only one entrance to the building. Crowded breakfast with mainly high fats and white bread. The overall experience was very sad, not worth paying more than motel 6, in my opinion. Nothing terrible happened, but I won't be back.

Water pressure a bit lacking. Hot water wasn't really hot.

This was reasonable for the price—simple, comfortable, and clean. Just FYI for those for whom it might matter: the lighting is inadequate. There is nothing in the closet area where one might need it most and even over the sink is limited. In the main room there is no overhead lighting. And there was no safe in the room.

As for getting out of the vehicle, the woman driver was not helpful telling me to push some button by the back door to get out and that she couldn’t access the button from the outside. Horrific. Then she comes inside to check me in. I had requested a higher floor if possible, and was told that the request was never received by them from Expedia. All she had was one on the main floor. I was not impressed. I was ready to walk out of the hotel and the only thing that stopped me was that I was very tired from my flight and it was after 11 in the evening. The room itself was satisfactory. The bathroom is very ancient. The tub needs to be updated. There is no plug for the bathtub with a note saying they wanted to economize on their water. I booked the hotel wanting to use the swimming pool and of course that wad out of commission. I will definitely not stay there again. I would not recommend it to anyone..

Stains on bedding an mattress. Never felt clean even after showers. No protein on Breakfast bar .. eggs gross . Basically all carbs.

The room was uninhabitable, overdosed with strong chemicals. Plus, the clerk was unable to produce keys due to a machinery failure. I was forced to checkout immediately and get a room at a neighboring hotel. I am requesting a full refund. Thank you.

But, convenient to Tucson airport. Less convenient about having an easy to find entrance from local streets.

Staf was helpful. The transit to the airport leaves on the hour and I had to leave at 6:00am Breakfast starts at 6:00am but there was time to have cereal and coffee at 5:45 am before I left and I appreciated that. The room was clean. The bed is comfortable. I pre checked on-line.

The location is minutes from the airport. The shuttle was great and prompt. You could walk to the airport if the shuttle wasn't running.

It was very nice and clean, checking in was very easy and same with checkout. Overall Just a great hotel to stay at.

Linens did not feel especially clean, rather worn. The shower was especially slippery. Whatever chemicals used to clean need better rinsing. Almost fell more then once. Front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was a nice option, bagel & cream cheese worked for me. Grateful for that.

There was no room service. The furniture is outdated. It’s didn’t have enough lights around the vanity the lights didn’t work at all. There wasn’t a main switch to turn all the lights on. It was just okay.

manager was rude at check-in ,the elevator broke down and the manager was rude again telling me to take the stairs to the 3rd floor, I'm handy cap with a walker and can't get up stairs, not maint

The main reason i choose this hotel was it listed a ev charging statation on site. The station was only for tesla. My Chevy EV would not charge nor would mustang or icon.

Clean room

I didn’t want my freshly bathed kids running around on such a filthy floor, so I tried wiping it down myself, and it was dauntingly difficult. Because of this, the rest of our stay wasn’t enjoyable. Instead of relaxing, I kept thinking about how dirty the room must really be. It’s a hotel near the airport so I know it’s going to be dirty due to the high traffic, but they weren’t running around the lobby, they were running around a room. Seeing everyone’s feet and socks so filthy black was disappointing and unsettling. Even now after we got home and laundered everything, I can tell which socks came with us on this trip.

Amenities can be improved

Room was ok, although it could use a bit more sanitation and light. (There were a couple of knats in the tub).Each person that works in this facility however, is a pleasant, decent personality.

Room was clean, basic but good for the price. We had a suite with a sofa bed and our only complaint was the sofa bed was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Staff was amazing and friendly, very accommodating. Tesla chargers were available which was awesome. They weren't the super fast ones but got the job done for overnight charging. Breakfast was a great perk as well

The rooms were clean but dated. The water pressure was low in the shower. Not sure if that was just my room or if that is the case in general. I would stay here again. The staff were very friendly.

I've stayed here several times. It's not expensive, and walking distance to the airport terminal. This time, I found that the desk in my room was covered with a sticky substance. Neither myself or the night clerk were able to clean it. We covered it with a bath towel to get me through my stay. The hot breakfast was sub-par: The only hot items were eggs and waffles. No meat or potatoes. I was hungry again by noon.

Reliable airport shuttle at 4 am

No microwave, No re-entry from side doors, No shelves in the refrigerator, Electrical outlets were unreliable. It's fine if you only need to sleep. But due to my work i need long term arrangements. I will not return. But best of luck to them.......

Nightmare stay at this property. There was a domestic abuse situation that woke up our entire side of the floor, the front desk employee had an attitude and didn’t listen to requests, and I will not be back ever again.

Early in the morning we heard yelling in the hallway and what sounded like a fight. Shortly afterwards at breakfast, several police officers arrived. Not sure what was happening but it is a sketchy neighborhood.

We liked the size and layout of the room. The beds were comfortable and the TV had lots of channels. The staff were friendly and helpful, We could park close to the entrance. It was very quiet.

We arrived to check in and had to wait 25 minute at the un-manned front desk. There was no one at the desk for over 25 minutes. We then went to our room that had the worst AC unit. It never cooled the air, left it hot and humid in the room, and made an awful noise that ket bith my husband and myself awake all night. On top of that the breakfast was terrible!

Upon my arrival I didnt like that the front desk girl was checking in multiple customer which could be confusing I mean she knows the hotel upside down but not me so I;d prefer to be check in on an indivudual basis to be on the safe side and in case one have questions

I called earlier to ask about parking for few days until we return back to tucson and was quote th day it would be $3 per day. When got to the hotel they said itat it was $5 per day and our mirror around the vanity didn't work

We were there "off season", so the tiki bar, and indoor bar / restaurant weren't open. The room itself was clean. Breakfast was strictly pre-packaged grab-and-go. While we had coffee cake - which was really good - it would have been nice to have something a little more substantial. Maybe the offerings are better on-season...

Dirty mattress and sheets (hair/stains). TV had to be fixed several times. Jesus lied and said he didn’t have any other rooms to Close to the elevator when back my daughter checked in for hours later and was given a room right across from the elevator. They should not even state that breakfast is included. It didn’t have anything on there, and the hot food items were cold, which was egg and potatoes no meat. People gathering in the back/side of the hotel. I see why people renting Airbnb now.

Liked the hotel itself but didn’t like the look of Tucson blvd getting to the hotel. Maybe some tress or plants should be planted . Overall it’s a great place to stay and shall be returning.

My room was very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Rosy, Angela and both ladies named Lupita went above and beyond their duties and made me feel at home. Those ladies deserve a pay increase. Thank you for such a nice stay.

Our Stay was excellent.

With many airport motels to choose from, Baymont is a manageable smaller-scale, spic-and-span new property with a generous breakfast area. It's right on the final road into Tucson Airport (S. Tucson Blvd.). Overnight/Morning desk clerk, Angela, was super helpful getting me checked out with some coffee before breakfast officially started. They know their passenger customer base!

Overall great. Breakfast included eggs but no meat. Mattress comfortable. Practically walking distance from the airport. Free shuttle on the hour. Morning staff, however, had no idea I was on the list for the shuttle. Next time I will show up to the front desk early to make sure they know I need a ride. I would definitely stay here again though!

A 3 day stay and housekeeping never came to room to fix beds or to have clean towels. Said they were tooo busy

Things were ok, breakfast was a bit lacking but my biggest concern was the water coming out of the bathroom sink was cloudy- it looked like it was mixed with milk, even after running it for quite awhile it did not change, the water in the toilet and shower were clear. There was no way to plug the bathtub so after a very long day and wanting to soak I couldn’t.

The low price attracted us as we were traveling between cities. The hotel is being updated by Wyndem and the floor we stayed on was updated, and the room was roomy.
