    We chose this hotel specifically because it was advertised as pet friendly. After flying over 22 hours back to the U.S. with our dachshund, we arrived exhausted, only to find that the faucet in our first room was grossly clogged and unusable. We had to switch rooms immediately. While sorting everything out, I realized our dog may not have been properly registered through Expedia. Instead of calmly explaining the policy, the front desk employee looked at me with a very rude attitude and said, “If your dog is loud, we will KICK YOU OUT.” There are many professional ways to communicate hotel policies, and that was not one of them. What made it even more upsetting was that throughout the entire interaction, our dachshund was sitting quietly by my feet, causing absolutely no issues. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, especially toward travelers who have just completed such a long and stressful journey

    Scored a 5 on most services. I scored poorly because I was unable to use internet due the hosting of an event at the hotel. I checked out one day early and was told to contact Expedia for a refund yet when the Expedia called the hotel, there was no refund given due to the response of the hotel. Although the staff was very helpful, at least some of them were, I didn’t appreciate being told That I can get a refund just for the hotel to turn it down. Definitely not good business practice.

    Opted out of breakfast as there were plenty of nearby options. Was a bit annoyed because they did not have updated TVs with app choices. Was planning on watching a sporting event but had no access to prime Netflix or any another apps, just the limited TV cable channels.

    Excellent customer throughout my stay. Charnice at check in was very polite and informative and continued to follow up with me throughout my stay. All of the front desk personnel were also very polite. My room was clean and housekeeping was great. My only recommendation would be to include the breakfast buffet with the room charge. The quality of the breakfast is a step higher than you would find at other free breakfast hotels but I'm not sure if it's worth the $15. Other than that, no complaints.

    I booked a stay at Doubletree for my birthday because I usually have excellent experiences.Especially the signature chocolate chip cookies.When I requested one when I was coming in for the evening around 9 PM,I was told that they were given out at check in and I’d have to come back to get more in the morning. One of the main reasons why I booked a stay here was for the rooms and of course the signature cookies.Only to be told that the hotel did not have any.I will not be recommending this location to anyone I know and I don’t understand how a place that always advertises its signature cookies not have any for its guests.

    The hotel is adequate. Check in was slightly stressful as there was only one person and he was dealing with an unhappy customer. Beware that they charge $50 PER DAY as incidental fee which is refunded if not used. The room was clean. The overall appearance was tired and well worn. There is no complimentary breakfast so we chose to eat away from the hotel. The location was very convenient to the areas of Atlanta we wanted to explore.

    Everyone at the front desk particularly the front desk host who checked us in last Friday was very accommodating. She made sure we were aware of all the local places to shop The hostess women in the dinning area went above and beyond Ms.G offered us tea and fresh eggs from the kitchen. The bed & pillows were very cozy. The only sitting chair in our 2 Queen size room was not comfortable at all and the dark brown paint in the small bathrooms were so drab. This hotel just need's a few upgrades. I expected a little more from the Hilton Double Tree. Over all a decent stay but i probably will not return there when in Atlanta.

    Overall ok hotel. The first night was terrible! The people next door to my room had a party in their room that spilled out to the hallway. They partied from about 10pm until 4am. They were loud, yelling cursing bumping so of course we didnt get any sleep the first night. The day of, I called down at 11:10am to get some fresh towels and I had to call back at 11:35am to inquire. I didnt get the towels until 11:50am which now caused me to be rushing to get down by 12pm for checkout.

    1) The property was run down and dirty. The facilities were in need of repainting and refinishing. It felt a bit dirty no matter where you were on the property. 2) The parking lot is oddly shaped. The back gates close/lock in the evening and you are forced to drive the wrong way down a one way (towards the front) to get out of the property parking lot. It always caused problems trying to get out when people were trying to enter. 3) One of the mornings we abruptly found out that the water was shut off -- and without any warning. The property didn't communicate this was going to happen and we had to go to a local gym to shower and make it to a meeting on time. The hotels.com phone representative who investigated my claim also noted she didn't see any advanced written warning from the property to guests. 4) The late night front desk clerk was unpleasant. He could not be bothered for anything. 5) As we checked out and began walking to our car to leave, we watched a patron (whom we saw earlier) walk out the side door and put a comforter in his trunk and leave. Do yourself a favor and check out another hotel in a different area. This was really disappointing for a Hilton property.

    The Hotel is nice although a little dated, I did like that they have a great Restaurant Bar attached in Marlow's. Also the breakfast was good. My only issue was since booking through Hotels.com they gave me issues about booking through a 3rd party and did not honor the room I had reserved a month before and gave me 2 queen beds then after complaining I was moved to a king but accessible with extremely low counters

    I was there for a family reunion. There was another family reunion and I believe a third group. Only one elevator worked the entire time, so it felt like I spent most time waiting. The rooms were carpeted. I find it absolutely disgusting generally and think all hotels should do away with it. The young lady who checked us in had a poor attitude. Breakfast was decent and all other staff were very accommodating and pleasant.

    Room was ok, but very basic amenities in the bathroom. Room was not cleaned on the second day. The room lock was not functioning reliably, had to get keys updated all 3 days of my stay which was very inconvenient. Coffee machine at the breakfast area was broken. The tavern was not serving dinner on Sunday evening due to an issue, which disrupted our plans.

    The furniture Sofa, chairs etc were stained with what looked like bodily fluids on the seats and arms of the furniture. It was gross and disgusting. I didnt even use the lounge side of the hotel room of my Suite. I borught it to the hotels attention but they could only como my breakfast charges.     The stay was alright. The staff were very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately there were some issues with cleanliness in our room and that were upsetting. We have a stain on the ceiling and was pretty evident and had dirty bath towels in the bathroom. We enjoyed the pool but felt off in the days that followed our swim. Overall I’d give it a 3/5. Unsure if I would stay again as the cleanliness was concerning.

    Horrible….After staying at this Double Tree near on LaVista it had really turned me off from Hilton hotels. I am currently working with Expedia and the hotel about my experience. 1. The hotel smelled like something died. It was all throughout the 1st floor. I would’ve gotten a new hotel off of that alone but there was a concert going on and rooms were hard to come by. 2. The room smelled like smoke. This is a non-smoking hotel and the room smelled like SMOKE! I had my 9 year old with me and we had no where else to go!!!! 3. The people above us were LOUD!!!!! And when I say LOUD I mean it. With all of these smells going on I had to call the front desk and ask for medicine for my daughters runny because it was making her nauseous. 4. Employee creeping around the corner while me and my daughter were at the pool. It was soooo weird. He was just sitting there watching us from the inside around the corner. If he was looking for something or needed to search the pool for something he should’ve came out, looked and then left. So we were no longer comfortable getting in the pool. 5. To top it all of, leaving day…..after I told the hotel we are leaving and both times they said OKAY, this lady with a bad wig and green or gray eyes came to the door and said I tried to call you all but now I’ve charged your card $50 since you’re still here. She came at me so rudely. I was told it’s fine when I said I need a little more time. And because I missed her call trying to grab my things and leave

    The hotel is rundown and not sure why its listed as a 4 star hotel. The whole hotel smells stale and moldy. The rooms are much smaller, no microwave or chair. The pool area is not kept up. The whole building itself needs removations truly disappointed we stayed here, please do not let the pictures fool you. Front desk staff literally ignored us for a solid five minutes while we stood barely three feet away.     I especially appreciated the quietness of the rooms and the general energy of the space—it felt grounding, safe, and conducive to clarity and reflection. However, upon check-in, I called in advance and there was a concerning issue: the front desk could not initially locate my reservation, which created unnecessary stress. As someone who values alignment and preparedness, this was concerning, especially given everything had been booked in advance and I have verified documentation. Fortunately, the matter was eventually resolved, however it did create a noticeable imbalance in the otherwise peaceful experience. Yet, I stayed positive and had a positive experience! I would encourage the management team to strengthen their front-desk systems and communication protocols to ensure smoother check-in experiences for all guests.     Says 4 star, but more like 2.5. Not sure who sets the star level of the hotel, but this one needs to be re-evaluated. The staff was nice, but the condition of the property was a little worn. The photographer should be commended, because they found the most flattering angles. Noisy HVAC unit, weird parking lot, with lots of warnings to secure your vehicle and call the Cobb County Sheriff if you have a break in. If you’re thinking hey, this is a 4 star hotel deal, think again. It’s an expensive 2.5 star.

We expected better for that price. Second, there was only a desk chair in the room (no armchair), so two of us had to sit in bed. An armchair would have been nice.

    Easier to say what I liked. Nothing. Lifetime Atlanta , 60 plus years. Moved to mountains of NC a year ago. When did North lake become the hoos? I lived in stone mountain for 35 years so I'm qualified to recognize the hood and hood rats. Absolutely no refund if you have to cancel. Period. Expedia, you suck. I got this room because it was supposedly a Doubletree by Hilton, a name that should carry some weight. This place is "tired", drab, dark,. Furniture in room was ancient, covered with water stains the soap dish in shower did not match the rest of the shower. Small issue, but different ",marble which the were too cheap to match up. I spent a lot of time looking out the drapes watching my car because there were several people out there walking around parking lot with backpacks that were not guests IMHO. I worked 40 years in Fulton county and DeKalb county courthouse ss a court reporter and I know what to look for and who to look for after all the criminal matters I handled. When I was leaving several tatted up chicks were leaving followed closely by a dude wearing easily 100g of gold and a huge medallion. If it was fake that's even more ghetto, but it wasn't I'm guessing prostitution or human trafficking, again based on my 40 plus years handling criminal matters in two of the biggest metro Atlanta counties that are eaten up w crime and handling numerous human trafficking cases. This place is a disgrace to the Hilton brand. Look at the pics I attached

    The staff at the Doubletree is always friendly and helpful. Our stay was good but the hotel is falling into some disrepair. The air conditioning unit was falling apart although it did work properly. There was paint peeling in the hallway. The cleanliness and maid service was excellent and the bed was very comfortable.

    Staff was friendly upon arrival but hotel was it in great condition. This is in no way a 4 star location. We saw roaches in a room and were awoken at 4am by the police as someone had smashed the window of our vehicle. Once outside there were multiple victims that had been broken into. We were all parked right out front by the front lobby doors under lights… During our conversation with the police we were told this was not a rare occurrence. At no time before, during, or after were we reached out to by the staff to check on us, apologize, or see if we needed anything. Stay away. Only positive was the check in process was quick and easy enough. As stated at the beginning the is NOT a 3-4 star property nor should it be user rated 8+..
