Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the friendly staff, cleanliness, and convenient location, particularly for visiting the USMC Quantico base. However, several guests express dissatisfaction with outdated rooms, poor breakfast quality, and various maintenance issues such as faulty air conditioning and plumbing.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean rooms and facilities
- Outdated rooms and amenities
- Poor breakfast quality and limited options

Pool was closed for the year the gym the equipment was broken with one dumbbell had to wipe the bathtub down with a magic eraser before using turned a washcloth yellow

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. Rooms are outdated, and for the temp in the high 90s would expect pool to be open.
- 3.5/5
The room was good, the television worked and flipping through channels worked well. The shower worked well, and the bed was firm but soft. The lights worked, and I could walk to my car quickly. The hotel is close to both Interstate 95 and the Marine Corps museum and base. The breakfast and the fitness room. The breakfast was the minimum possible. Less than this would have been a single apple on a table. The scrambled eggs are in the form of medallions. The sausages were basic and warm. The 3 cereals came in small boxes - take your pick: Cheerios, Raisin Bran, or Frosted Flakes. The fitness room had a treadmill, and some random fit machine. There were no free weights to speak of. Enough to post that they have a "Gym".
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and parking was convenient and safe. Not great options for breakfast.
- 5/5
Fast, check-in, comfortable room and very clean.
- 3/5
It’s an older place but it’s clean and the price wasn’t outrageous. The side door was propped open 1 night so I closed it but other than that no issues.
- 1/5
The hotel was pure trash but I'm actually more upset at Expedia for allowing me to have this experience

Same thing every morning for breakfast.

Rooms have been renovated. Weight room equipment was in disrepair. Decent stop outside Washington.

Very dirty carpet in common areas and room, no body wash provided in room, dirty odor in common areas
- 2/5
The hotel was dirty, and anytime we would need help at the front desk, we would stand there for 20-30+ minutes waiting for assistance. Our room keys almost always didn't work, and again, when we would needed help it was a "stand there and wait" game AGAIN until somebody showed up. Towels? Stand there and wait. Keys not working? Stand there and wait. Furthermore, there were more (what seemed to be) family members loitering the halls, half of them working there and the other half seemed to be living there in some capacity. When I explained the the front desk that we need to check out a day early, they initially agreed to reimburse us for that last day, however, when I dropped off our key cards in the morning, I was told no, that in fact I would NOT be receiving credit for the last night on the room. Long story short, the room was NOT clean, it was not properly stocked with amount of towels/ linens, and it lacked a friendly, competent staff member to help the customers with their stay. Greatly disappointed all the way around.

Room cleaning was good, just a few details. Breakfast didn’t have so many options, but was good. Carpet needs to be wash (corredor and room); Hair in the bathtub, and spots on the bathroom mirror.

Very nice property friendly people rooms were OK. They had a view, but the breakfast left you wanting something more tepid sausage and eggs. Dry bread, butter, orange and melt it. There is cereal and milk and juice and two whole yogurt no fruit like I said left you desiring more but the price is right and it wasn’t crowded wasn’t noisy so I’d say eight out of 10. Good luck.

US Marine's National Museum. We did not like that the hotel has not been updated or maintained in a very long time. It was in poor condition. The bathroom was dirty, carpet is very old and needs replacing. Overall condition was very rundown. When we booked our stay, we were looking to reserve multiple rooms for more family members but was told both on the phone and on the website that the hotel was "sold out" - when we arrived there were only a few cars in the parking lot and over the course of the next 24 hours, it never got any busier. Not sure why were were told it was sold out when it was clearly empty. The property did not convey to how it was represented on the website, we will not be returning.

Pillows might as well have been nonexistent. Breakfast was a joke - not even sure why they bother to advertise it. Everything from the vending machines was either stale or flat. As a stop off point with two kids between Tennessee and New Jersey it was a complete waste of money. We would have been more comfortable sleeping in our car.

The breakfast wasnt bad. The eggs were just overcooked. Overall our visit was good. Bring your own pillows if you care about comfort. The doors slam no matter what you do, so it’s annoying when you hear it during the night. The staff was all very pleasant and accommodating!

It was fine, but the bathroom was very small and none of the outlets in the room securely held a blue. I tried to plug in multiple things in multiple outlets and they just fell out. The only secure one was the bathroom and the lamp on the table by the dresser. The one on the table didn’t hold anything and the one by the floor lamp was super loose.
- 3/5
It was a place to sleep and shower. Not clean or updated.
- 4/5
Convenient to Quantico and better priced than other hotels. Older facility with no frills breakfast but clean. Worked fine for our needs as we just needed a place to sleep.

It is simply an old hotel in need of significant capital improvements

I really enjoyed the free breakfast, nice selection and hit the spot. I will be back. Nothing, everything was great.

No pool. Staff was great. Shower was clogged and never fixed. Even after they said someone came in and fixed it. Had to shower in 4in of your dirty water and took about 10 minutes to drain.

Stayed here for ultra trail race. Was better than being in the bunkhouse at the park because I had my own toilet. But it is a run down Ramada—I wasn't’t expecting anything more.

Their continental breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but was better than nothing. The pool was closed the 2 days we were there. Empty, tarp over it closed. The staff were polite, but neutral. The road you have to turn onto to get to the property could stand to be better maintained.

Our 2nd time staying there, while visiting our Marine. Hotel is a little dated , but it is absolutely immaculate. It’s also extremely conveniently located to the base and Marine museum. The staff is small, perhaps family run hotel but always available when needed and extremely accommodating and professional. Airbnb’s were my preference for a few years, but that has changed.Anytime we are in town, we will be staying here.

Hotel and room are old but clean. Some furnishings have seen better days but functional. Bulb burned out in one lamp but desk said they would have house cleaning fix since I was checking out. The only thing I really didn't like was that the cups in the bathroom were not wrapped. Just a stack of three unwrapped styrofoam cups. They looked clean but who knows.

It was close to the Marine Corps Museum. It's not bad for an overnight stay. The room appeared to be clean. The place was deserted, very few guests, but still had plenty of food out for breakfast. Seemed to have a small staff that wore a lot of hats, and they were very friendly and helpful. It's an old hotel and it's location might fool your GPS.

If you would like to have your family have a similar experience to the condemned barracks you used to live in then this place is the go to! The pungent smell of mildew brought me back to the good old barracks days And the blood spots on the sheets reminded me of boot camp when you end up with someone else’s shoots that came back from getting their wisdom teeth removed

Arrived on Christmas as we were planing to visit Nation Marine Corps Museum the next day . Check in went well. Unfortunately for us nothing was open for diner being it was Christmas (even the Chinese restaurant suggested) due to Christmas Hanukkah falling at same time. All seemed okay, until put down floor mat and appeared to be a smear that resembled a dark brown mark. Day after Christmas we went out for the Continental Breakfast...We choked down enough to get us tot eh museum but, The eggs (Gritty) of the continental breakfast were UN-edible. Fortunately we found someplace else to grab breakfast the next day

Traveling from New Jersey to North Carolina this is a perfect overnight stop. Have been coming to this Ramada for years and they never disappoint. This is a very well run franchise. Thank you for the consistency and dedication to excellence!

Hotel is a little older, but immaculate. Seems to be family run perhaps, which allows for more personal service. Hotel was very quiet, we had an emergency that required use of their computer and printer and staff was quick about assisting us. Check in was quick, daily breakfast was fresh and plentiful. This Ramada will absolutely be our go to when staying in town to visit our son while at Quantico.

Just ok. Nothing fancy a good place to stay if you just want to rest.

More than met our needs for the trip! Friendly and accommodating young man at the counter at check in. Only wrinkle was a couple of guys talking loudly outside our room well into the night.

This location met our requirements for a place to sleep at night. It was very dated but overall was an affordable, no frills place to stay convenient to where we needed to be. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

It’s more than I expected for a cheap hotel. The staff was great and went out of their way to take care of my family. Their breakfast is nothing to write home about but the staples were present, including a few hot items. Not much to see around Triangle but if you’re planning a visit to MCB Quantico or surrounding installations this is a clean, no frills, place to stay.

It's a decent hotel. The location is safe. But, there's nothing around except for Quantico Marine corps Base. It's right off of the expressway but no other things close by. The staff was a little creepy. They greeted me with just a blank stare as though I didn't belong. No hello, no welcome. I felt like I made wrong choice initially. But, things got better after I checked in.

There wasn't even an elevator to the second floor. The front desk had a bunch of notices on what will get you extra charges to your room. It was very gross and unprofessional.

Beds are hard as a rock. Ac barely works and makes a horrible noise. Had to have our frig replaced the first day because it didnt work and then then one they brought froze everything. There was no way to adjust it. The hallways and lobby are really hot becuse they kept the doors open and ac off almost the whole time. The night concierge was rude to me about leaving the light on in the lobby bathroom. We booked that hotel because it advertised that it had a pool but when we got there, they said it has been broken and would be the rest of the year. So why not update your website? Also, our key cards kept messing up and locking us out so we had to get new ones. My only praise for the whole place is that the housekeeping staff was very nice and helpful.

Both the staff and the management were very helpful and so kind. Especially, the person working in the breakfast room was very kind and gentle. Daily housekeeping was available except for Sunday, but not so clean. Safe and quiet place to stay with the family.

The hotel was on a road in the middle of nowhere next door to a house with 3 or 4 beat up trailers on the property. No dining or stores nearby. Also there was no elevator so you had to carry your bags up and down stairs. “Fitness Center” was a small room with a few dumbbells and an exercise bike.
- 3/5
Something must have happened to the main AC, because it was so humid and very warm in the lobby and hallways. Staff never mentioned anything about it. I had to run the room AC at almost full cold and on high to compensate. Still a good hotel I've used several times for a safe place to crash for the night during long trips.

If you are looking for a quiet location with friendly staff, This is the perfect location. As far as additional amenities, there is a small gym and breakfast offered. Only down side was our bathroom and the view from our window. While the hotel cant help who the neighbors are, the bathroom should have been cleaner. Our stay was enjoyable and no one bothered us.

This hotel is old and has been there for years. However, the price was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the entire facility felt very clean! I was pleasantly surprised and would stay there again!

The road noise of I95 was awful, but for the price and location, it was ok. The breakfast was a little lacking, but again, I got the hotel for the location. It was close to Quantico.

The rooms had a terrible musty, closed up smell. There were huge stains on the mattresses not only in our room but another family members room. We had ONLY SHEETS ON BOTH BEDS. No elevator. Drinks in the machine were expired. Only 1 outlet worked to charge our phones. Our plugs fell out of every socket. The tv would go in and out and very few channels. We had to say because we had a large group of people and finding another place to accommodate all of us not available. All of the rooms we had reserved had the same socket issue. Some tvs worked, some did not. This place is in no way worth $80/night! Maybe $30 but thats pushing it. They definitely need to upgrade all electrical outlets, mattresses, clean the carpet! The place as a whole is NASTY! Would not recommend.

My wife and I were on the road for work and we were absolutely dead tired from the trip. We stayed at this hotel and had an amazing time. It was absolutely silent, no problems and the staff were beyond kind. Thanks to them my wife got a restful weekend and I'm happy they were kind to us
