    Air conditioner was perfect. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a 4-10. We had premade egg omelet with cheese that were over cooked and rubbery. The hash browns were delicious though. There was a waffle maker station and oatmeal station. Yogurt and fruit. The room was nice. But Water pressure was terrible. The upgrades to the rooms were noted though. There was a bidet in the bathroom. A Bluetooth speaker connected to the bathroom mirror with clock. Pretty cool. The lamps didn't give too much lighting for getting ready at night. There was a terrible cleaning agent type odor as soon as you got off the 3rd floor elevator. And was there all 3 days. There was an outside pool, we weren't able to use due to rain. Overall 3 out 5 stars. I would stay there again, but probably won't be my first choice.

    Communication was superb, Andrew sent me several texts to see how my stays are going. He made me feel very special. Location was good; not too far from Swamp Rabbit trail, and coffee shops, restaurants and other retail stores are near by. Fairly quiet at night and we got a good sleep. Bathroom can be updated. There are noticeable stains on the corner, and air bent over shower defiantly need attention . Also, I felt the room door was too thin; I could hear people walking by and shutting the doors. Fortunately no loud customers at the time we started.

    Very welcoming staff. Easy to locate, plenty of parking, Close to walking trail and walkable to to downtown restaurants and shops. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms spotless, and even had a bidet. Breakfast the first day was somewhat disappointing, eggs were cold and very little left, no bagels left or not replenished etc but the subsequent two mornings were very good. Only thing was the first morning breakfast experience was disappointing and this was about an hour before it closed.

    The place was really good and for what we needed it for, but the pillows were so small like micro pillows on a king size bed. And when we went down for breakfast at 9 o’clock, a lot of the stuff was empty when it’s supposed to be till 10.

    Bidet toilet didn’t work due to GCFI outlet broken. Lamp shades were smashed and broken and just barely hanging on on one side of bed. There was a huge grouping of cords/wires where the phone was. Definitely not what I would expect when paying $260/night.

    This Hampton Inn location was in close proximity to Table Rock which was my destination for hiking. This Hampton Inn location is in serious need of a facelift. The hotel looks worn down from years of use and they really should put some money back into the aesthetics. The cleanliness could have been better, but it was marginally acceptable. Other than at checkin, the staff were no so friendly. They also charged some sort of Marketing Fee to the reservation, so it was roughly $5 more than I signed up for on Booking.com. Not thrilled about it but was ready to get out of there. Breakfast was ok, but no protein (bacon, sausage) served with the eggs…

    Our room was below average. There was a peanut M&M on the floor, along with other debris, showing that the room hadn't been properly cleaned. Two of the towels in the bathroom had yellow stains. The desk chair had two different colored stains on it. Despite offering a free breakfast, we opted to go to a restaurant and pay for a meal. With the place being nasty, we weren't about to eat their food. I know a Hampton Inn isn't a five star resort, but I was very disappointed. We usually stay in downtown Greenville, but this was closer to our destination. Next time, we'll make the drive from downtown and one of the nicer hotels.

    Rough night of sleep here. Walls are super thin, my sister said she could basically hear someone next door scratching their back. The gap underneath the door is quite large, and you can hear people coming and going closing their doors. The temperature control is difficult to maintain a steady temperature, I set it at 68 and the room would go from cold to hot throughout the night. We could never get comfortable with the fluctuations in temperature. Overall it was a clean hotel but I don’t think I will stay here again due to the lack of sleep we got.

    The power outlets in the room near the bed didn't work, so my cpap had to be plugged in across the room and stretched to the bed.The motorized blinds were broke! Thank God for the boozie toilet that had a seat warmer, automatic flip up seats though! That enhanced the value! The shower was extremely narrow, and the curtain was all bound up and looked like a blind maintenance guy installed it!

    The front desk was very nice. The rooms have terrible lighting. There wasn’t even a light in the kitchen area. Dishes had to be done in the dark or with your phone flashlight. The bathroom light around the mirror wasn’t working. The carpet next to the bed had a huge stain on the carpet.

    Staff, although polite, failed to correct two issues I identified to them the day I arrived. 1. The black out blind would not roll up so I got no natural light in the room. 2. The desk lamp has no bulb in it. I immediately requested that both issues please be corrected and was told twice they would be immediately corrected. I checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday. Upon check out neither issue has been corrected. Very disappointed. I expect more from Hampton

The only bad thing was I was excited to use the pool oin the morning before all the kids came, and before I had to leave for my Uncles visit in nursing home. The pool didnt open until 10am. It was 90 degrees all weekend and it would have been nice to exercise in the pool at 8am. I asked at the desk and was told it would open at 10. In my opinion it should open earlier.

    The faucet for the sink is ridiculously close to the edge of the sink. You cannot put your hands under the water that is coming out. Also, the shade in the room could not be raised because it doesn't work, so the room was dark all the time. My room was not available when I arrived at 2:45 pm.

    The perfect location to jump on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and to explore Travelers Rest and Greenville. Also, a short walk to downtown Travelers Rest to restaurants and shops. Having a hot breakfast available to carb up before a ride was perfect. We'll definitely look to stay here again.

    The perfect location to jump on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and to explore Travelers Rest and Greenville. Also, a short walk to downtown Travelers Rest to restaurants and shops. Having a hot breakfast available to carb up before a ride was perfect. We'll definitely look to stay here again.

    The woman working at the front desk was very sweet, but when we got to our room after a long day and got settled, we realized that we had a slow flushing toilet. There was no one available to come plunge the toilet so I had to go downstairs myself and get a plunger to clear the Issue.     We were there when Hurricane Helene came through and the whole area lost power. The staff did an excellent job of dealing with the blackout and even managed to prepare coffee and a hot breakfast. I was very impressed with the staff.

Also, the tile at entry and in bathroom had a greasy residue on it that made it slippery. This may have been from a cleaning product that wasn’t dry or not fully washed off. Either way it was gross. Should try to replace old carpets and AC units and do a little better cleaning floors.

    I had to leave the hotel. It was under construction. The rooms they tried to put me in all smelled of mold and I am highly allergic to mold. The parking lot was under construction. I canceled my reservation and went to another hotel. This place should it be open while they are doing construction. I was told there would be no charge for the cancellation. Oh, and the elevator doesn’t work.

Pool and fitness center were closed and the elevators were out due to construction. Of course I was put on the top floor. Construction should have been communicated at booking not upon arrival. Also air conditioning was not adequate in the rooms…damp and poor air quality. Cushions in breakfast area disgusting and in dire need of replacement or, at very least, cleaning.

    The outside is under renovations ,building and parking lot. This inconvenience is understandable. The elevator is out of service people need to use stairway. We were booked on the forth floor . The desk clerk was very considerate. When she saw that we were seniors 83 and84 she found a room on second floor asked if we could handle stair to second floor and if not we could cancel out and she could recommend others hotels near by . We opted to take the room. We have not stayed in a hotel in four years. At 3 pm our room was not serviced or clean towels. When inquired was told we had to ask for this service at check in time. We were given clean towels no problem.

    Very disappointed. Good location but did not know of construction before booking or early enough to change. No elevator for guests and I was on 3 rd floor. Had to make several trips and carry big suitcase up several flights of stairs. My parents on 1st floor which we lucked out because they could not have done 3 rd. Also little communication. No pool though not working in that area snd no access to fitness center. AND no discount or accommodations for HUGE inconvenience. Won’t be choosing Hampton for our future travel unless we hear back. We travel a lot. Room air conditioning not consistent but the bed was comfortable.

Called from my phone and no answer for 20 minutes until somebody finally came out to answer the phone. As a woman traveling with two young girls, I felt entirely unsafe. We were offered the opportunuty to cancel on arrival after 6pm from traveling all day. This Travelers Rest SC. No other choices in that area. Hampton said Hilton or Expedia would have to make adjustment. Hilton didnt respond and Expedia put it back on hotel who said we were informed about construction. That is totally false. We Weren’t informed about construction before our arrival, or when making reservation. We only found out when we pulled up. Were told about elevator, ice machine, work out room and pool closed after checking in. This is all wrong. The pictures and amenities online are false advertising and deceptive. Between Expedia, Hampton Inn and Hilton, our hotel stay was nothing close to the price based on online presentations about the hotel.

We went down for breakfast where the construction crew was having their breakfast as well, which is fine since I believe they are staying there however the vulgar language should not be hotel lobby language. Additionally, the elevator was out of order which made taking two trips of luggage up to our room a bit if a pain and the swimming pool was off limits due to construction. Paid way too much for a hotel in that condition.

    The hotel is under renovations and the elevator was not working at all. We checked in at 10pm and there was no option for us to find another hotel at that time after traveling all day and room having been booked and prepaid. There were no rooms available on the first floor so we had to drag our luggage upstairs. The lady at checkin asked if we needed help bringing luggage upstairs. I responded that would be very helpful. She then disappeared and we got no help. My disabled wife ended up falling down the steps while we were trying to leave the next morning. The carpets and chair were disgusting in the room. I stay in Hampton Inns all the time for work and pleasure. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth despite the added points we were given.

    The hotel is under construction and looks nothing like the picture. The elevators were not working so we had to carry all our luggage and a baby up 4 flights of stairs which doesn’t seem like a big deal until someone with a disability books a room. We were very unsatisfied

    Our stay only lasted 45 minutes due to the massive construction, no working elevator, and fumes coming in the room vents. We cancelled our stay and booked another hotel across town. In my opinion, they should not be attempting to actively operate this hotel while under this much construction.

    We were happy to find this Hampton with vacancy on a Saturday after an impromptu change in travel plans. The hotel is currently under renovation and I was told at check-in the elevator was out of service. No problem except the RFID keys didnt work and caused me two additional trips up and down from the third floor. The room was clean and updated with a bluetooth mirror. There was also a bidet seat on the toilet which I was excited about as I have one at home. Unfortunately it did not work :( . The staff was friendly and helpful especially after I checked out and had to get back in for an item left behind (the lock malfunctioned again causing me yet two more trips up and down). Under the circumstances I would have thought a little discount on the price would have been in order considering the inconveniences, but I ended up paying what I pay for a downtown city room weekend rate.

    Hotel was great and the People were Great. The only problem was the Construction at the front of the hotel, The other people that stayed there were complaining about the Elevator not in use, they had to take the stairs. I was on the bottom floor thank GOD.

    Renovations in progress...OK...but all else was fixable... elevator not working (been that way for weeks), no-one big enough to carry suitcases by stairs to 3rd floor, filthy and stained chair(s), missing/broken door on closet, "digital" toilet constantly malfunctioining, no luggage rack (asked, promised one, asked next day, answer = "none in hotel"), furniture chipped badly (used as luggage racks?), no amchair, etc. etc. Vastly over-priced at $500+ for 3 nights. Never again!

    I was not prepared for the state of the hotel. When I registered for my stay I did not know the hotel was under major construction renovation. Since I did not know it was under construction my first impression was not good. Once in the hotel the staff was extremely nice and everything was very clean and presentable. Big disappointment was the fact that the elevators did not work and I had to carry my luggage up three flights of stairs! I feel I should have been compensated in someway for my inconvenience.
