Everything is was amazing. The advertising said fully equipped kitchen but it was quite basic so a bit of a challenge to cook even simple meals. However, the rooms are a lot more spacious than expected. The room service is excellent. It’s overall a very comfortable stay for a very good price

Bedroom floor was dirty & sheets definitely didn't appear that they had been changed. I requested my sheets be replaced, and I had to ask that the floor be cleaned. Amenities come with free breakfast but when I went there wasn't any breakfast and when I asked, they said they only bring out breakfast the first hour and the next three hours people basically have to hope there's food left.

Breakfast was nice. The waffles were a good option because everything else was kind of generic. Cereal. Eggs and black beans!? I wouldn't serve beans for breakfast but to each their own. No bagels. No juice. Nothing to drink really at all. Just milk for the cereal. Could be better honestly. There was an oxxo across the street and a money exchange in the building near the entry. The lady that sits down there in the lobby is super nice but again... No English. I was hoping at least the desk people would be able to communicate with their customers. ? It was only a few minutes from the border. Only 1 person that worked there at the desk spoke English which made it hard to check in. My room was not ready even tho I called ahead to make sure and they said everything was good. I was still charged the same price for the room even tho it was much much smaller than the one I wanted and paid for. Not good. The view was awful but it's TJ sooo.... Yeah. The room was dirty and I had to ask the lady to come in and clean it as soon as I got there. (Finger prints on the mirrors and TV and dust everywhere.). Had a little kitchen which was a selling point for us because I was going for a major surgery, however, there were minimal cookware and no saute pans only sauce pots. The silverware in the drawer had old food still on it... ? The while Mitch was filthy. Really gross. And I was very happy I brought my own sheets, blankets and pillows... This place needs a lot of help. Of yeah! One more thing. There was no secured parking which was mentioned. You just park underneath the hotel with 1 shady looking fellow watching the entire lot. Minimal parking spots AND there was rubble on my car from what appeared to be from the ceiling....?? So the place is literally falling apart. Marriott really let this one go.....SUPER DISAPPOINTED. I have stayed in many many hotels and NEVER have I ever seen one this bad. Stay away. It's worth going to the more expensive spot but be careful because you're a target if you're rich and white in their eyes. Good luck ?. We also got hustled at the border by 2 police officers for 250 bucks to be able to go back to our own country.... Great time! ?

Overall the hotel, location and service were great; however, the only unexpected down was for such large building it was odd not finding a pool, jacuzzi or spa. Otherwise great. Thank you.

Very little food available.

Had booked a one bedroom with a queen bed. At arrival I was notified there were no more rooms available when I had made this booking over a month ago. Was given no reason and just got a room with two twin beds which I did not enjoy.

The parking lot was well light and very clean. The attendant is very friendly and speaks a little English. The room was spotless, I walked barefoot the whole time, and my feet didn't get black. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean. I will be back soon.

Staff was great

When I first checked in our bedsheets, were stained clear indication that the sheets had not been changed. The floor was dusty, and there was even a dirty Band-Aid on the floor. I mentioned it to management, but they brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal.

Property was fairly clean, staff was helpful and the on site parking was convenient, the kitchen area and its offerings was very simple. The room was are thin so you can hear the people in the room next door luckily for us our neighbors next door weren’t too loud.

This place needs to be seriously cleaned and redone. My room was dirty, the shelves were super old. The floor was dirty, the couch was dirty, I had to ask for it to be vacuum and the cleaning lady, didn’t want to clean it. She said that they don’t open the sofa bed and therefore they don’t clean it. The lady at the front desk had to it. I couldn’t cancel it, otherwise I would have.

I always book this property for my parents and they are always very happy. Clean, good breakfast, quiet, and the staff very helpful.

The location is good. And it it nice. Breakfast was good. The fridge was not clean and the staff was not friendly!! They have a car service, he was Very rude and seemed annoyed. I had emergency surgery and couldn’t drive. I ended up calling for a different car service to take me to my appointment.

The staff was really great at making sure we had a good stay. The room was ok and met our needs, however cleanliness is definitely an area for improvement, not terribly bad but can be better.

El hotel está cerca de todo tengo muchos años hospedandome. Plaza río. Mercado Hidalgo. El centro. La línea para cruzar a san Isidro hospitales restaurantes. Todo cerca y el hotel cumple con mis expectativas.

Walking with socks iside the not a good idea, the floor is dirty, floor never map, towels and bed clothing with black mark I mean for me Marriot is quality but not here. I always have to Sk for towels and room and cleaning service, bad actitud drom some house cleaning.

Could not have met our needs any better. Very clean, pleasant, and centrally located.

Check in was easy and the room met all my needs. I’m so happy I reserved a room with kitchenette. The location was so wonderful and helped me eat tacos and visit the Hidalgo Market.

The staff was all very helpful and nice, everything was also very clean, buffet breakfast was very good. We came as a big family group and really enjoyed the stay. We also used the game room which was super fun. The only thing that we didn’t like was the elevators, they weren’t reading the cards correctly and made the up and down process take a long time.

The property is good, the mtress is the worse I have ever slept in.

As a platinum member my reservation had two complementary drinks. I asked the front desk about this and they said that was coffee for me for 24 hours as they didn’t have any other type of drinks. This felt like a joke but was reality. After the first night I expressed my concerns about the mattress being so hard and the mattress springs condition

I told the front counter the windows where very dirty from outside that ruen the view and the soft bed looks like it broken they told me once u close it, It Will go back to normal State ok now I'm disable i was parked where disabled parking & when i returned to park are car some one else's parked there with there car with no disability plackers i ask to find the owner and have him move it ,they told me that don't enforce that it's not there parking lot.

Very safe area with lots of shops and places to eat. Ordering uber eats was simple and Ubers arrived with no problem.

The impromptu stay was characterized by a tardy check-in, yet the staff exhibited exceptional courtesy. The accommodations were remarkably spacious and exceeded our expectations. The city skyline provided a picturesque backdrop. The breakfast buffet offered a comprehensive selection of delectable dishes.

The staff were always helpful and the whole hotel was always clean. Cleaning service left the room super clean. We felt very safe with our two small children. Very accesible for all of our children's strollers and needs. We will definitely keep booking with them.

We really love the place but this is our third time staying here and it’s just not clean.

The VIP service needs to be updated in Expedia. There was no such VIP experience when I checked in.

The people working there were great and helpful and had a lot of local information that made it easier for us to move around the city. the only thing we didn't like was that one of the lights on our room did not work. other than that we liked our stay there. they have great people working there.

My family and I had a horrible experience at this property. We left Arizona at 5 am and arrived at the property at 11 am to see if we could check in early. The staff said the room wasn’t ready yet, but had me sign the documents and asked us to come back after 3 for our keys. When we came back to check in, the staff said there was a “small problem” they had already given away our room and there were no rooms left. I booked this trip long in advance and was exhausted from traveling and we had young kids with us. I told them this was unacceptable and after a lot of arguing, they magically had two rooms next to each other. Originally we had booked a suite that would fit us all. Since they gave that room away they said a conjoining room should suffice. When they went to show us the rooms, one of them was occupied!!! So they had no idea who they even had in their rooms! Then they said they found two rooms for us on different floors and after much protesting from us, they magically found two rooms on the same floor, but on opposite sides of the hotel. This was all after they said they had no rooms at all. The stress and anger this caused my family was terrible. We have a diabetic child with us and really needed to have our room ready so we could get him settled. We finally ended up in the two different rooms on opposite ends of the hotel with a promise they would comp us the first night for our trouble. That was another lie. Both Expedia and the hotel refused to make it right.

We had a horrible experience at night. The next door people had a party going on until 2:00am with loud music and singing. I reported to front office which was not able to provide a number for the person in charge. I was able to provide the details of incident to Norma that assure that she was going to take this matter to upper management. The food and staff were very courteous but not the receptionist.

The rooms dont have insulation on the doors so you get to hear everything your neighbor and the hallways have to offer. I cant really blame the neighbors for the sound, but we can hear each other clearly just speaking in a normal voice. I may not want to stay here again for the lack of privacy and noise comfort.

Our room was not properly clean. The toilet has a brown water ring. The stove has water residue on the knob. This is my third time staying here and we get the largest room so my kids can play in room. The staff are amazing and the breakfast was one of best free breakfast. We like this place and we feel safe here. Will return in the future.

The amenities were scarce and the towels were kind of old and you ask for something that you would get as a curtesy in the USA and the charge for everything.

Well my rating is based on the lack of modern technology at the hotel. A hotel like this one should automatically have things like smart tvs and in room either net hook ups. It was really annoying not being able to enjoy a tv night with the kids because the tv barely had any good channels. The bed was also terrible had back issues all weekend. The breakfast was mediocre and didn't match whats shown in the photos. But it was definitely Very clean. Close to alot of things to do. Had everything you needed to cook in the kitchenette. The rest of everything about the hotel was well above average. The bed the lack of technology are the things that make me not want to try this place again. If you upgrade this would be my go to definitely
