Breakfast in bed was really nice. And the outside deck has terrific views. There was plenty of provisions- coffee, tea, water, as well as wine and cheese spread and cookies every day. Planning to stay again already, next time bringing my son with us who is a foodie. Top restaurants right next door with amazing waterfront views.

Perfect location with relaxing and gorgeous views from the shared deck. They had complementary wine and cheese at happy hour and a delicious breakfast in our room. Ferry access to and from San Francisco.

My sister and I have stayed at the Waters edge several times, we love the accommodations and especially love to spend time on the back deck, enjoying the view. The only improvement I would recommend is to have blackout window coverings. It’s extremely bright in the rooms around 5:30 AM.

No hot water connnection for the bathroom sink was odd. No screens so water bugs fly into the rooms and common areas.

What a great location! Right on the water. Tiburon is adorable. Great for a getaway! The fireplace in the room is a great bonus plus the wine in lobby. Really nice touch. It was a little challenging to control the thermostat. The room has a mini-split and I had to turn it to 85 to get it to heat the room on a cold evening.

Everyone is helpful and friendly instead of going to a room with a bunch of strangers, and he served a stale buffet, this hotel provides a custom continental breakfast for each of you every morning where you’re free to eat in your room or sit out on their beautiful deck overlooking the harbor and the most incredible skyline of San Francisco in the background I love the cookies in the evening the pastries that are different every day with extra ones at the desk if you’re still hungry, they have a happy hour in the evening where they serve really good wine they validate your parking so which would be typically I think $20 is free if you’re at the hotel as is the fitness center down the street I think the only thing I really didn’t like was that we had a very very tiny deck that really just fit one person and the neighbors deck faced our, and if their door was open, you could see right into their room and the only thing dividing it was a plexiglass divider so it wasn’t very private

Lovely wine and cheese Happy Hour every day and "Breakfast in Bed," complimentary Continental breakfast is delivered to your door (selections can be made on a form and placed on the door). Though not all rooms have a panoramic view, there is a gorgeous communal desk right on the bay with a magnificent view of San Francisco and the Bay. Ferry rides to the City and Angel Island are right next door.

We love Waters Edge, and try to come twice a year. The main reason is to see Tom. He is such a great person and I hope the company realizes what he brings to the hotel. We had a poor room #207, it did not have a view, which we had when we visited in the summer. No worries, we still had a great time. We hung in the lobby with Tom and played scrabble.

It was our anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of stay. The staff was wonderful and the room was cozy and spacious!

Location, patio with an evening fire. Fire place in room. The breakfast was less than excellent. The oatmeal was cold and they forgot the pastry and toast. We called and it was delivered but it was just bread and not toasted

Check-in was very easy and gentleman was very friendly and gave us suggestions for dinner around the corner that evening after a long flight from the East Coast…….there was a happy hour in lobby complimentary (wine/Cheese) LOVED! The outdoor deck was awesome after dinner…..went down and grabbed a nice glass of wine and enjoyed the beautiful view!!! To top it off they delivered a lovely continental breakfast right to our room at 7am before we left to start our adventure to Napa next morning……Highly recommended?

Breakfast options with in-room delivery were fine. The deck overlooking the water has a fantastic view and comfortable seating is provided. There was a room next door, with a window just a few feet from mine. You could hear the TV, which was turned up loud. The check-in desk needs re-varnishing, giving the impression that the property is not being meticulously maintained.

Water's Edge was everything i had anticipated and more. Comfortable, quiet room, many choices for breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. Our view was not the best, however, i had not requested a special view. Parking was down the street, but the staff was very good at helping us get our bags.

This was one of the best hotels ever! The location was perfect. We found an organic restaurant just steps from the hotel. The ferries were next to the hotel. The front desk personnel made us feel right at home and were SO friendly. This hotel definitely has a B and B feeling. Our room and bathroom were very spacious. There was a lot of storage . . .even shelves in the closet! We had a lovely partial view of the harbor. The room was always sunny and bright. The morning breakfasts brought to our room was a special treat. I almost forgot to mention . . .this is the cleanest hotel. Everything is spotless!! Nothing could have been better. This hotel WAY exceeded our expectations.

3 star experience. This hotel is basic. Clearly it’s been around for a long time and they’ve tried to update it by whitewashing the rooms. Unfortunately the rooms have a bit of a prison cell feel about them (white and cold). Beds are comfy, bathroom very basic but clean. We had a room with a balcony - very small balcony - maybe 2 X 4”. Included continental breakfast which was really under par. On the bright side, it’s a great location, right in the heart of town. Great views of SF from the rear deck. I would choose to stay elsewhere in future.

Nancy and Tom were absolutely fabulous hosts at the front desk. Curteous, helpful, and charming. Oven baked cookies each night as well that Nancy made sure we had. Tom made it easy to take out the free bicycles. Location was right in the hear to Tiburon. Will definitely stay here again.

This place was great. One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Very clean and pet friendly. The hotel is right on the water, and the 2nd floor fire pits are great. The staff is all amazing, very fun and helpful. We can’t wait to come back.

The room is much smaller than the one showed at your website. I reserved a luxury king size with more room to walk around besides the bed. Turn out to be getting a room with not much space. It was very deceptive and had a feeling of being cheated.

Comfortable, clean and quiet! I loved staying here. This hotel has all the charm of Tiburon in one room. The staff was friendly and the amenities (wine, wood burning fireplace, complimentary breakfast delivered to your door!) were surprisingly delightful.

Great experience. Loved the fresh cookies, wine, and coffee that was offered. Especially loved that you had a decaf coffee option. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect. I would 10/10 stay there again. Special thank you to Nancy at the front desk. She was so pleasant and helpful.

It was like a homey bed and breakfast inn. Loved the room service breakfast that was included, the wine and cheese at 5 pm where we met very nice people.

Tom greeted us at the front desk upon check-in. He went above and beyond to welcome us and make great dinner reservations for us. Hotel provides great wine and cheese from 5-7pm, inside by fireplace, or outside bay front. The location can’t be beat!

The only cons I would say are small bathroom sink and loud pipes during the day. At night, any noise from the street or building itself can be drowned out with low playing music. I would love to stay here again and would recommend to my friends and family too.

Free bike rental was a pleasant surprised. Bikes were well maintained. Took a pleasent bike ride to the other side of Tiburon.

This was such a great, amazing surprise. We thought we were settling on this hotel because we couldn't find anything decent in the city... but this hotel surpassed all expectations. Gorgeous area, clean hotel, pleasant staff, nice/free breakfast, amazing views... I am totally staying here any time I come to the San Francisco area in the future. 10+ stars!!!

We loved our stay. The front desk was very accommodating and helpful when asked for tips on dining etc.. The rooms were cozy and clean and even had a fireplace which we took great advantage of. Breakfast was brought to our room which enabled us to enjoy more quality time together. The surrounding area has many places to shop or browse and the food at Bella Luna is fantastic. Overall, our stay was brief but very, very enjoyable and we plan on staying there again. I've tried hard to think of any negatives but I am unable to come up with any. If you are looking for an inexpensive (for the San Francisco area) romantic place to stay, with incredible views of San Francisco do yourself a favor and stay here!

Loved everything about this place. The location was great and was perfect for being able to walk on to the ferry to San Fran for the day. The staff were all extremely kind and jumped to help any way they could. The breakfast in bed and nightly wine in the lobby were both nice touches too. Highly recommend!

Very nice place to stay for a week.

We had a fabulous one-night stay at Water’s Edge. Our room was spacious and clean, the staff was all very friendly, and though our room did not have a water view, the view of SF and the bay from the large communal back deck was amazing! We also loved the evening wine and cheese reception (which we took to the back deck), and the breakfast delivered to our room at a time of our choosing for no additional fee was a much-appreciated added amenity. We will be back!

This is an outstanding small hotel, with many thoughtful touches, including a fireplace in the room, coffee and tea on each floor, a wine and cheese reception each night as well as a spectacular patio, with a fire pit for a chilly night and a spectacular view of San Francisco across the Bay. The staff members were nice and the location is right in the heart of Tiburon. This is a special hotel.

Only criticism was when registering via the hotel's website I was re directed to Reservations.com which upcharged nearly $400 over the quoted price. I cancelled the reservations immediately but they charged me to $83 to cancel it minutes after making it! I then used Expedia.com and the reservation went through with the correct amount. Obviously not the hotel's fault, but they should stop using Reservations.com. So... call and reserve a room or use a different method than Reservations.com. Tiburon is beautiful.

Perfext location. Sizable room, cozy and comfortable. Bathroom shower needs to upgrade to hand shower with traditional shower head. We will definitely come back again. Breakfast and wine and cheese is such a great touch.

Loved our stay! Very cute & quaint little hotel. Very clean. Happy hour with wine and cheese in the evenings and a wonderful complementary breakfast in the morning. Right next to cute shops and great restaurants too. Would definitely visit again.

Location is perfect with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. The only disappointment were these little flying bugs that were in the room when we arrived, disappeared at night but would show up in the morning. There were no windows that could open and we didn’t have the door open so don’t know where they were coming in from. Other than that, would definitely stay there again. Love Tiburon!

Nice hotel...a little noisy with the construction next door. The staff was amazing! Beyond helpful and kind.

The back deck is worth it alone, best views in the region morning, day and night. Kindest environment we stayed in. The rooms are very spacious; however with the wonderful back deck we only wanted to sleep in the room. Wine and cheese welcome and breakfast made this our best getaway in a long time
