Absolutely amazing hotel to spend time with the family!

It was a great stay just not much to do. Tennis and golf. Got bored pretty fast.

We had an amazing stay at the resort. The staff and waiters were very friendly and helpful. A slight hiccup on the room I booked but the lady at the front desk was able to quickly correct and fix the problem and find something suitable for us.

Great family vacation! Perfect environment for young children.

Thoroughly enjoyed the property with two young boys 8 and 11. They loved playing basketball in the pool. Wife and I were able to get R&R while boys made friends. Staff was great and so were the facilities. Housekeeping was the only weak link but they weren't terrible.

This resort is so peaceful. There are lots of people at the pool, but the grounds and just right for a getaway.

Love this place but when it comes to Summer time I wish the lazy river and pools were doubled. There’s so many people. I love it though. Clean up was lacking around the pool area (cups and towels everywhere) were piled up and I had to throw stuff away to make room for my family. Other than that, always fun, relaxing and amazing!

Room - mould in the bathroom tiles. Coffee machine to get hot water did not work. I had to ask housekeeping twice to get a new one carpets look old and dingy Back table restaurant, the worst service in my mind for a Hilton curio! Breakfast - cold oatmeal I will not stay here again.

This resort is beautiful and it feels like you’re at home. The front desk staff were so professional & friendly. The food & drinks at their restaurant, Back Table, was delicious. Their breakfast buffet has everything that you could ever dream of eating from a buffet. I love the location too. The resort is a hidden gem. You won’t be disappointed. Make sure you book the room with a balcony view facing the golf course.

If you request a pool view room be prepared for the noise of the pool and other guests (kids). The music and waterfalls adds to the chaos. The views for the lake or even parking lot are very nice

Me and my newly married husband stayed here for our little getaway the day we got married and everything was perfect! The room was very clean and stay stocked with towels and everything we needed, they even clean the room and left our belongings nicely put up while we were out and about. The staff was very accommodating and helpful as to any questions we had, the pool was also very nice and there was a couple of different pools to move around through with a hot tub included! The only thing that I would say is definitely keep in mind that it isn’t a all inclusive and the only thing that surprised me, but wasn’t too bad, was that there was no microwave in the room or in a common area so we had to pay to have one sent to the room and it was a fee for everyday we kept it. I would definitely recommend this place for couples but also families because it was very family friendly!

I really wouldn’t say didn’t like but I feel this is the category to share this part of the trip. We booked our stay through Booking.com and this included free breakfast and the golf play. When we checked in we weren’t given the vouchers for the free breakfast so we we’re still charged for that there was nothing they could do after the fact and when trying to schedule a tee time for golf, we were given incorrect instructions three times which led to a later tee time than requested meaning we had to rearrange our plans during our stay, which was very inconvenient. So I would Just say staff could be more informative at check in and have clear instructions on how guests need to set up golf play. We did check in with plenty of time for this to be taken care of even if it meant contacting the clubhouse to get scheduled at the time we requested. There is no option to book for golf when you reserve your stay. You have to wait until you get to the property.

Everything!! The property offered all things advertised and more. The amenities were great, the children’s activities were really good and well planned as far as the times. Food options were good and you’re so close to town that offers even more options and SHOPPING!! Pools were spacious, plenty of seating and cabanas, game room for kiddos was cute and even had guitar hero which was great throwback action for us. We went for my birthday for a quick staycation getaway and play the golf course which was also great but will definitely take my grands back for a weekend stay. I really felt disconnected from the world and I relaxed with my wife. The beds they have best sleep ever I recommend for sure.

Our first time at this resort , no one informed us what amenities or activities were in the “resort “ no info on wha as a family u can do here or near. Staff seemed very unhappy with their job as not very helpful if you are a minority. The room they put us had water in the tub and water was leaking out , when asked how my stay was going thru a text I expressed this to a lady named Jessica and she apologized but no solution or anything . Food was ok but they close the bar at 5:00 pm . The pool gets closed early as well & the arcade is very small and most games don’t even work . I am not quite sure what kind of resort this is but it did not feel like a resort to us.

Very pretty location and nice rooms with balconies. Had a room overlooking the lake. But too many kids in the pool. Would be great if they had an adult only pool.

The pool walk out room was great for stays with kids as you can watch from your patio and they can travel back and forth from the pool. That staff was very helpful and the firepits were on the entire evening for roasted marshmellows and smores. The pool was 85 degrees and perfect for year round swim enjoyment. The property is well kept and I got a great deal even considering it was spring break weekend. This will not be my last time staying at the Woodlands Resort.

Our stay was just OK. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The devil was in the details: while the room was clean, our balcony had a left over, partially consumed water bottle left there. The metal cover that hides the hole in the wall at the base of the shower sprayer was not there. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable to sleep on. Following our first night and use of the provided in-room glasses, the cleaning crew did not replace them with clean glasses. Room service was not available when we attempted to place an order 35 minutes before they closed. Finally, the price of the breakfast buffet for the quality and selection was unreasonably high; over $30 for an adult breakfast (excluding tip) and the food was the same quality one finds at most hotels offering free breakfast buffets. Ordering an actual meal off the menu was no less expensive. I expect to pay a premium when staying at a resort, but I also expect the quality of the resort and its amenities to reflect that premium. In this case, the resort failed to provide fair value for the price of its offerings.

The room was very clean! The surrounding area of the resort was not well kept. The furniture pieces in the cabana areas had visible dirty spots.

The walking distance was two buildings over without the offering of a ride. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. I wish we had more days there, but it was a short visit. We loved it.

I was naked and someone came into my room uninvited and didn’t knock or anything. Management thought giving me points and taking 40$ off resort fees would be an even split. It was not! This was my anniversary weekend. At least replace the whole day. This is unacceptable for to me.

Friendly staffs, clean rooms, great amenities ( 24/7 gym, heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi, tennis court. Me and my kid have a fantastic stay there. In room dining is a convenient choice when you feel lazy to drive out of the property.

The stay at The Woodlands Resort was an over the top experience. First time having a room with a balcony. Over looking the water, a calming experience. The cleanliness of the room. Hats off to the cleaning staff. The breakfast menu at The Harrison’s was great.Thanks Lydia! Who helped us plan our stay with her advice on events going on in and around The Woodlands Resort.

Check-in was not straight forward even though we Check-in online. The room was not ready at 4:30 PM. Had to take another room with no view. There was a cockroach at the shower.

I lived the natural beauty of the place! It had so many great and fun activities for everyone no matter the age. However the employees at the bar were very rude and aggressive. I understand having a long day but no need to take it out on your guests. It was a group of us and as soon as we walked up she rolled her eyes and said “what do yall want”(blond girl). After we told her and showed all of our IDs she finally was starting to warm up a little. Then another rude lady with purpleish hair came huffing and puffing about everything. I hope they have better days cz being a bartender at a great restaurant with that attitude is crazy! Othe than that I lived everyone’s else’s attitude.

Housekeeping did not leave us water or toilet paper the first day, second day housekeeping didn't take out our trash. For the price we paid to stay here I was very disappointed. Beautiful grounds but def not worth the price per night esp. if you cant use the amenities.

Excellent facilities from the room to the pools and lazy river. Lots of animal interaction around the lake and golf course (turtles, ducks, herons, fish, hawks, etc.) very relaxing and our grandson had a great time.

The downside was that they did not had the room ready at 4pm check in even that we arrived at 5pm, we waited over 15 minutes that we were told would be ready and after that I ask then to do something about it so they gave us another room which was not the view I had booked.

Hotel was beautiful and the pool complex awesome! Housekeeping left a lot to be desired, Upon check in the staff could have been friendlier. The guests were much nicer than the staff. Upon check out the staff was friendlier. The Hilton Galveston Staff and housekeeping was much better. They had to go through a class on how to treat customers, they spoiled me with their niceness and constant smiles and hellpfuiness. Perhaps there staff and Housekeeping at the Woodlands shiould go to the same class.

We enjoyed one week at the Woodlands Resort. It’s one of our favorite vacation spots. We’ve been there several times before. The only thing as a bit of a little concert is that it is showing its age.

This was my 2nd time staying at this resort, however, this timeI made into a family affair. All of the staff except for one individual (waitress that worked at the pool bar), was rude. She gave my mom the side eye as we walked to the pool after she told the waitress that she had brought my mom the wrong drink. Our room was incredibly hot upon arrival, even the hallways were scorching. The issue was fixed right away, however, it’s something that the staff should’ve looked into as soon as there was an issue with it (maintenance told us we were the only ones who reported it). We chose this resort so my family would experience it due to my previous experience, but I don’t think we’ll return for a 3rd stay. We’ll seek a different resort w/a lazy river and various pools.

Overall pretty good, my kids loved the water park. Only downside was you have to request your room to get cleaned everyday, and my room wasn’t ready at the time we arrived which was supposed to be ready at 4pm. Will definitely recommend but they can do better in this area specially when you are paying 300 usd per night.

The experience did not meet the expectations for a 4-star hotel and fell short of the reputation. While the lazy river and water park were enjoyable, the rooms were outdated and had a musty odor. There weren’t many food options for people who are vegetarian or have dietary restrictions. Booking directly is advisable; our reservation through Expedia for a double bed with balcony resulted in a room near the entrance with no balcony. Although we initially overlooked this, the situation worsened when the room temperature rose significantly during the night, making it uncomfortable. Despite being told there were no available double rooms, we found availability online, but the only solution offered was a rollaway bed. We chose to check out early due to these issues. It’s clear that a 4-star Hilton should be better equipped for such situations, possibly with portable AC units. While the staff was courteous, they became defensive when asked for a statement for Expedia. Overall, the stay was unsatisfactory, and we are unlikely to return.

We traveled here with another couple for a summer getaway. The hotel was booked solid and also very, very noisy and chaotic. It was very loud kids everywhere. Kids are fine, but not when they party till two in the morning with no parental supervision. We had a horrible exhausting time. The resort is beautiful though, and the staff was excellent.

Location is beautiful. Resort good for small children .

The hotel forgot the resort.

Room took 50minutes past check in time, which cut my in room massage 15minutes short, ac broke at 11pm and had to move us to a room with no balcony that had pee marks all over the bathroom floor.

i didn't get to stay me and my family was turned away at check in. There was an issue with reservation and the resort Sold Out. i had to go find another hotel for the night after driving 5 hours. My family and i was tired and disappointed.

It’s a great option for a getaway weekend. The rooms and a bit outdated. The staff and nice and there’s a lot of options to eat

Tristan, in the Valet department, was, in a word, phenomenal … personable, professional, courteous … I can’t say enough great things about him !!!

Great pool area and lazy river

This resort is absolutely amazing! Great customer service and great experience with the family. Definitely recommend this place to others!

The resort was so beautiful and all the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean,beautiful and lots of space for the family. The pool was super fun for the kids and the adults.

Trip was great until the a/c went out in the middle of the night. Room got up to 80 degrees which forced us to check out several hours early than we hoped to. Other than that we enjoyed it.

Not all electrical outlets worked unless the entrance light was on . This didn’t allow me and especially the kids to have fully charged iPads.

Emily, who handled the Daybed rental reservations, was friendly and very helpful!! When she found out it was our anniversary, she even sent a complimentary amenity to our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Our room was comfortable with a nice view, though I’m not sure who to thank for that! Another highlight was that someone went out of their way to make sure my stay was credited to my Hilton Honors account, even though I booked through hotels.com. That really impressed me because when we book through third parties at other hotel brands, getting points applied can be a hassle. These small acts of kindness made a big difference, and my husband and I truly appreciated them. The pool staff and valet team were fantastic! They were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the service inside the resort wasn’t quite the same. We found the staff at the lobby bar and the gentleman making omelets at brunch in Harrison’s to be less welcoming and warm. Honestly, the pool staff could be a great example for the indoor team. One thing to note is that food service ends at 10 PM, which we only found out on our first night. Definitely a bummer. Overall, the stay was nice, but it didn’t quite feel like a full resort. It felt more like a beautiful hotel w/ great pools & a golf course.

I love the amenities.The rooms were spacious but the A/C wasn’t cooling properly.I had to call front desk about A/C as well as the TV not working

The parking was very inconvenient; however, it was free and they did provide valet service. The staff was very helpful and polite. I felt the dining options were very limited.

Everything is perfect. Our room is quiet and clean; Comfortable bed, lots food options conveniently located inside the resort.

I appreciated the waiters supplying food, ice cream, milkshakes and alcohol drinks all day which is billed to your room. Floating in the lazy river with a margarita while my kids were going down the slides was the best weekend I've had in a long time. I love how everything was inclusive and the bubble machine was a huge bonus!

In town (Woodlands) for a wedding. Needed a place where we could chill, an literally cool off during periods of down time. Pools and lazy river at the resort were perfect. Obviously you should be prepared for lots of kids. Also nice looking restaurants and bars attached, but didn't have time to use them. Also golf and tennis available, I'm thinking more than one 18 hole PGA golf course.

Very nice resort with comfy beds and super spacious rooms plus great amenities. Food and drinks by the pool were also good. Excellent customer service!

Amazing stay. Our boys loved it. We will be back!

We paid almost $400 for a day bed at the pool and the service was so slow. Other people who didn’t have a day bed or cabana were getting their food and drinks faster than us. There was a wedding at the resort the night that we stayed so the restaurant had a 45min wait even though 75% of the restaurant was empty at 9pm.

This resort is quiet, beautiful and so much fun. It was a prefect small vacation the whole family enjoyed.

The doors leading to entrances to the buildings have a badge reader. But the doors are always unlocked to the entrances. Makes me feel unsafe that anyone can come into the buildings at anytime. The restaurants mostly all close down early leaving only the one restaurant and the bar in the lobby open. But the restaurant had closed due to a private party. This should have been reserved then in your party rooms. Not close down the only restaurant that is open for dinner for a private event. The map that is handed When checking in had inaccurate not updated info. Also if you want info about the restaurants or property your always scanning a different QR code. Which is also not updated on all aspects. When trying to reach the restaurant for dinner by phone no one picks up. But if you use the open table for reservations per their QR code it will not allow you to book or have to wait for confirmation which never happens. When I went down to the restaurant they say they dont use it anymore and had it turned off. But again everything is done through the QR code. Otherwise the premises is beautiful dispite the dirty cushions on the outdoor lawn furniture. Someone must have said something because day 5 we noticed new cushions. Staff at the pool area only have to say was very polite and great. But not so much at the restaurant for dinner.

Our stay at the Woodlands resort was excellent in every way. The rooms are nice and clean. The pool area is really nice also. They also run a shuttle to market street and the waterway. Plenty of really good restaurants in the surrounding area.

If there was something above excellent for our checking in and out i would have selected that ! The person checking us out was a female, which i didnt catch her name will be forever in my memories!!! The staff for building 5, deserves a raise!!!! Everyone was soooooo polite, friendly, i even cried saying goodbye to them!!!

Beautiful property nestled in nature. There is something for everyone to do. Beautiful views and calming sounds of water from pool view balconies. The staff was very helpful in carting us to and from parking lot late at night.

Is it older, yes. But it’s definitely worth the value. For us at least, the customer service was great from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The pool was perfect for the kids and the Panther course was in really good shape. Prob would’ve liked a discount for the punched greens but it was still a fun round. Would definitely return for another stay.

Beautiful and great treasure just 15 minutes away from home and had an amazing time with family who were visiting from Ohio.

Good for kids

They don't warn you about the parking situation and then try to pass it off as ok that they throw a neon green sticker on your window because they hand you a property map at check in. Noise level was ridiculous with kids running up and down the halls, screaming. The bed and pilows were hard as a rock. The bartender was a mouthy, dead faced, not good at her job girl, but she had pretty pink hair. I should have done better research before booking here as we only needed a one night stay for coming into town for a show. Place is so ridiculously over priced. Big thumbs down, overall.
