I was quite surprised. This was the first stay at the Blue Hotel. The cost was affordable with free parking and use of laundry appliances. The less than continental breakfast was not appealing. Overall, I can honestly rate it 4 stars out of 5. . My next lodging will be at the Blue Hotel if available.

Room was not very clean. Visible debris and dead bugs along the walls. The fridge was so loud I tuned it off, which meant I couldn’t use it. No screens in the windows. Staff were friendly. It’s directly off the highway so it is a LOUD location. The A/C mostly drowned the traffic noise out.

Room was clean, breakfast items weren’t the best, and coffee wasn’t working. Hopping the next time I stay it will be better. Definitely worth staying at again.

Very close to the concert venue. Walking distance. Staff attitude. The room was very dusty with stains on one of the beds and sofa. We stayed here before, and it was much better.

The room was clean, and the towels were soft, fluffy, and in new condition. The only issues I had was that the water pressure in the shower was low and I couldn’t find a blow dryer for my hair. But all the other amenities were there, including an iron, mini fridge, and microwave. So convenient, right off the freeway and great value for the price. Perfect for a last-minute solo trip from Dallas into Houston.

Staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was not bad. My only complaint was there was only coffee to drink m I would have liked water or juice.

Parking is easy, staff is kind. I travel a lot for work and only was in the room for 4 hours to sleep. I work in film & tv and showed up with makeup looking like I had bruises all over my body so with that in mind, the staff was still very kind and courteous to me. Room was clean, large and cozy. I had a decent view . I like that it’s hardwood floors and not carpet. My only gripe is the pillows were not super comfy but I am a bit of a snob and I still passed out the moment I touched them. I keep my room cold, and it was nice and cold.

Room was not at all what the pictures look like. There is no elevator so if you’re on the second floor you’re toting your luggage. They don’t clean every day only every other day. The decor is all mismatched, pillows were pancakes, and my reservation was 2 queen beds but we were given one bed to share.

Breakfast terrible, avoid it by all means. Room comfort ok for the price, also cleanliness ok. If you open the window or door the noise of the I45 is unbearable. With room closed, it is still pretty noisy. Breakfast. Better leave it out than offer this.

Unfortunate that the washer/dryer Out of ervice " . I feel that you should always make sure that you deliver the amenities you promise. A guest who had to do a load of laundry will leave disappointed. Its important to deliver what you advretise, no matter what the cost. Limit guests if you feel they have been misused. Have a industrial strength washer and dryer; then give each guest a voicher to redeem for one load per room. Politely state that due to our fair and share policy as neighbors. Also, with a property as lovely and comfortable as this one i envision it larger because i love the style so much! Like a step into mid century modern! Expand to a diner or cafe for food. And a simple elegant pool and hot tub with a sign that says simply enjoy day or night! Disturbing your neighbors is NOT permissible, but by all means relax and enjoy! I love the staff as well Always feel welcomed here. I've stayed in cheap hotels before so I wasn't expecting a lot. The hotel looks well cared for, they even provide pre-packaged breakfast options. Price was very fair. But... man that was the worse bed my wife and I have ever slept on. It was sagging on the sides with a peak in the middle. Neither of us slept the last night we were there. Until they change out the mattress I couldn't recommend this to anyone.

Wanted to stay in a safe area, this is it! Very nice place all the way around. Quiet, except hwy noise as morning traffic started. Bed a lil hard for my taste but ok, pillows could been better, but very pleased overall. Would recommend. Great shipping and activists a few blocks behind hotel away from hwy.

Toilet got clogged on first use with no plunger and the shower never even got warm. Room itself was nice and so was the price but honestly the cold shower at the end of the night was a disappointment.

Opened the mini fridge, which was not working properly and it smelled of rotten/spoiled food. Restroom was dirty, hairs all over the floor. This is a nice property. It is very typical of a family owned, renovated hotel that has seen some age. It is well priced for it's condition and age and minimal amenities. Very good for a one night stay on the way to somewhere else. The breakfast was coffee, juice and some packaged goods.

The next morning around 4am, are car was driving around for an hour while honking incessantly. I did t see any staff coming out to tell her to stop. Oh and the sheets were stained Overall it was just a cheap hotel but the pics made it look so much better than what was delivered

It was a non smoking room and cigarette burns in top blanket. Door would not open half the time but then had to put body weight against it to even lock it. Tags from someone's panties found behind bathroom door when shut. No hot water and tub/sink wouldn't drain.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Blue -Woodlands ! This is a fantastic hotel that exceeded all my expectations. Its prime location made it incredibly convenient, situated right off the freeway and within walking distance to a variety of excellent restaurants. Whether I was in the mood for a casual bite or a fine dining experience, there were plenty of options just a stone's throw away.

Really decent hotel for the price. Tile floor, in-room mini fridge w/freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. Also has blow dryer, iron and ironing board, wifi and TV. Better towels/linens than most other hotels in this price range. All clean.

Elsewise though no complaints. Decent location for the job I had to do and I'd consider staying again.

Lots of road noise from I-45 even in back of hotel. lol hotel staff won’t leave you alone if your running a little late leaving the room. Also won’t take extensions of you stay over the in room phone. Free breakfast was kinda sub par. Just had bad microwaveable items. Juices and water at breakfast weren’t working.

Convenient location, polite and helpful and efficient staff. As a disabled traveler, we always appreciate quality properties that allow parking directly in front of our room. Will stay again.

The reviews were good so we booked the room. We weren’t expecting anything fancy, but I guess I was at least expecting clean and comfortable. Our first room wasn’t clean at all, sticky floors and unclean counters. There was an Unidentified bug on the wall. They gave us a new room and the new one was okay, but I agree with the other review that theres a chemical smell to the rooms that I didn’t like. Also, this is NOT in the Woodlands. It’s in a sketchy area, so that was misleading. We cancelled our second night and stayed somewhere else. The staff that checked us in was nice, other than that we weren’t fans of this hotel.

I have to give a low rating for my stay because the chemical perfume smell in the room was so strong that it made my night extremely uncomfortable. I felt sick in the morning with sinus problems, burning eyes, and a scratchy throat because the room was doused in a perfume spray. I’m a Flight Attendant and stay at many hotels for work. I never have encountered this extreme of a scent in a room. It was unbearable.

No frills and no worries… just everything you need and nothing you don’t.

It's more of a motel than hotel. The property is upgraded. For a quick nap or rest. This is cool.

This was as advertised. A budget hotel with nice sized room and comfortable bed. Very clean and met my needs perfectly including good Wi-Fi. Never had to wait for service even though our checkin the first night was at 2am

While it was off a major thoroughfare the location was near a mix of residential properties (behind the location) and business (next door). Check in was easy and the staff member was polite. The room was clean and I like the fact that it did not have carpet. The parking lot was full when I check out early in the morning. Overall a decent place.

It was close to the peach orchard venue where we were attending a wedding. The barest of amenities. Since we weren’t there that much that wasn’t that big of a deal. Traffic noise was a bigger issue. But the biggest issue of all was a huge fight between a couple next-door. It became very violent. Fortunately, we called the front desk and they must have dealt with it fairly as it settled down not too long after that.

A great place to sleep if visiting the woodlands. Basic stay un a busy area.

Space was tight with all the furniture…get rid of the desk and desk chair, the single chair with side table. Put in a small sofa with coffee table.

I was staying at this hotel by myself. Upon check in, I was asked if it was me staying. When I said yes, the guy checking me in pointed to a room behind the counter and said he had a room where the key didn't work. He said he'd have to open the door for me every time himself. I was very creeped out and told the guy that would not be happening. I did get another room with a key, but I was worried all night that someone was going to come in my room. If I could've canceled my reservation without paying I would have.

Very clean and inexpensive hotel close by the Woodlands pavilion. A good find! Would stay there again.

I'm not sure how this place has such high reviews. I mean it's okay. But the shower was a trickle, the bed was not overly comfortable and the pillows were super thin. Bring your own pillow! Breakfast was an absolute joke. All the drink machines were broken, and there were a handful of prepackaged honey buns laid out.

However, the cherry on top of all this was when my girlf walked into the bathroom and there was damp towels hanging in the bathroom. Whoever cleaned the room obviously had very little attention to detail. And having wet towels in your room left from previous people really shows how bad of a job they do and how little they care. I don’t usually go out of my way to write good or bad reviews on things but this place was so disappointing and so unsanitary that I had to let the world know. The only good thing about this hotel was its location and closeness to the area I was visiting, but next time I’ll drive the extra miles for something better! 0/10 if I could give it that rating! Looks can be deceiving!

We stayed here on our way to Galveston for the weekend. Check in was quick. We wanted a first floor room and they accommodated our request but all they had was a handicap room. Upon entering the room, it was small but clean. The whole bathroom was the shower. (Theres no tub in a handicap room). I would’ve given at least 4 stars overall, but both of the beds rocked back and forth on the floor and was really annoying.

Nice spot. We booked it because it was close the concert venue in the area. Room was very clean and new ish nothing wrong with the room at all.

You sent me a request to review. Otherwise, I wouldn't be doing this. I booked a Non-Ref room during the Hurricane crisis so my severely disabled little sister, who is on life-support could have AC and power to plug in her ventilator. There were several hotels to choose from through Booking.com, but I chose yours. By evening when we arrived to see a sign on the door that said NO POWER, it was impossible to get another room anywhere nearby (closest one was Waco - 4 hours away). My sister's battery had less than an hour's charge on it. I ended up having to put her on the floor at my office (that had generator power) so I could plug in her ventilator. It was the night from hell. I am a 62 years old woman and had to pick up and lay down a total invalid (who weighs 130 lbs) on a floor. You should have NEVER accepted a reservation when you didn't have power restored. You caused us to miss out on being able to get her to a safe place. I don't care if it was Bookings.com's error or yours. The buck stops with you. You should have made sure no reservations were being accepted. I will never recommend your facilities to anyone after this nightmare. If you don't like getting bad reviews, don't poke this bear. I've already reviewed once.

The location was really the only plus for us because it was 5 minutes from the venue we were there for. Everything. From the moment we walked into the lobby it smelled like dirty mop water that was covered up by air fresheners. The plexi glass that was between us and the attendant made us feel we were in a bad neighborhood or at a currency exchange. Upon arriving to our room it immediately smelled like an air freshener bomb went off. That’s not the best part though, the sheets were too small for the bed so when you sat on it they would pull up off the sides thus revealing a huge blood stain on the mattress. Wasn’t able to connect to WiFi as the password they gave us wasn’t working. Went to the attendant and he seemed to get combative about us having issues. Come to find out they had multiple networks but the correct one wasn’t written on the paper they originally gave us. The shower water pressure was a joke. This place seems to be run by slum lords.

Excellent location to stay so that one can walk over to Dosey Doe's Barn to eat and listen to great music. IHOP was also convenient to walk to for a late night meal. Very clean and updated hotel. Breakfast, nice snacks could have hard a better drink selection

Superb

This place is a disgusting dump. Filthy is an understatement. Everything in the room was dirty and nasty. Pillows were stained, mattress was stains, comforter was 100 years old, walls had gunk on them, microwave was dirty, floor were dirty, TV didn’t work in the first room they put me in, moved to another room and the blow dryer didn’t work. Do yourself a favor- stay somewhere else! Everything!!! This hotel was gross, outdated and sketchy.
