    The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and we even got a free cocktail during happy hour, which was a nice bonus. The location is great, and I would definitely stay here again in the future. The only downside was that the room felt a little stuffy at times—I wish there had been some kind of fresh scent or better airflow. Other than that, it was a great stay.

    The property itself was OK but the "cook to order breakfast" was basically eggs any style. The worst part was the $35 per night parking fee. That is ridiculous on top of the rather heavy nightly rate and it was a complete surprise. My bill ended up $100 more than I originally expected. I probably won't go back.

    Lobby needed cleaning. Bartender during kick back was a younger taller girl was so rude. Questioned us every time we went to get a drink. Didn't want to serve us. Breakfast was very lacking. No creamer for coffee, no cream cheese. There were 3 ladies only that we saw working breakfast. They were amazing and doing the best they could. I've been coming to this hotel for a lot of years at least twice a year for girls trip and this trip was so disappointing.

    The accommodations were clean. The linens and bedding were clean. The staff was helpful. The only complaint that I have was they were a little bit chintzy on the coffee and the cups left in the room. Other than that our stay was excellent and great. The continental breakfast was fantastic. This location is beautiful. A lot around the area within walking distance.

    Person in the front desk used a sarcastic tone. We showed up early because we had a 5 am flight. Went to drop off luggage at 10 and was told to check back at noon. Came back at 1:30 and the same person told me that check in was at 3. She had just told me to keep checking. Was not helpful, told me they could not guarantee a 3 o’clock check. My hotels.com app said check out wat at 12. Staff was calling me to leave at 11:20am. I mentioned the info I had on my phone and she told me that the information was incorrect and I had to leave. It was embarrassing. Just found out I got charge for parking 140 dollars even though I went and told them I would not park my car at the garage. Got charged anyway after I was told I wouldn’t. Housekeeping never cleaned our room in the 4 days we where there. Went into our room once and only made the bed badly. Did not take out trash once and replaced water bottles. I travel 150 nights a year and it was one of the worse experiences of my traveling career.

    Hotel is in a nice and convenient area but there is evidence of deferred maintenance at the property. Understaffed bar and kitchen. We were provided with 2 free drinks but had to wait in a 20 minute line and then they just poured a weak double and took both tickets. The breakfast in the morning was subpar. The omelette station had a 25 minute backlog and the buffet food was cold and poorly prepared. Will not be staying here for anymore events at the Pavilion.

    We love this hotel. It is Very comfortable and has beautiful surroundings. Did not care for the room this time - it was very small and cramped. Front desk staff are never very friendly but restaurant and bar are always nice. Self-parking is too expensive but convenient. We will continue to stay here when we visit The Woodlands.

Manager type person who finally came to help copped an attitude and never said how sorry they were - All of this for nearly $300/night.     What was equally concerning was how the situation was handled afterward. I was told Kenyon (The Manager) would follow up, but despite calling the hotel numerous times and sending multiple emails, I received little to no communication. It took repeated effort on my end just to get a brief response. When I did connect with Kenyon, the interaction was rude, and extremely dismissive and lacked urgency, which is not appropriate given the nature of the issue. I was also told at the front desk that a resolution would be provided, but there has been no follow-through. Regardless of where you stay, situations can happen. What matters is how they are handled, and in this case, the lack of communication and accountability was disappointing. I would strongly recommend that future guests carefully inspect their rooms upon arrival.. OR better yet.. Just stay elsewhere, not worth the BED BUGS and rude manager.

    Berry crowded for breakfast, coffee tastes terrible. Had to go off property for better coffee. Parking was very irritating on the first day, couldn’t get out of the garage. Had to call customer service. Front desk didn’t give any directions on checkin even after asking questions, felt like he was annoyed with them. Beds not comfortable in room, but had a nice view. Checkout front desk was extremely nice!

    The check-in person at the front desk was unprofessional and , in a word, absurd. Not sure of her name- my husband checked in to a room I booked and paid for in full for the night of December 29, 2025. We had booked a room to attend a holiday family gathering and I didn’t end up going because I was sick. My husband, after witnessing this front desk person make a big, complicated deal out of a couple trying to check in their very elderly parents into a room that they had booked for them, called me when it was his turn to check in. He put the front desk person on the phone who just couldn’t fathom that he was trying to check in to a room I had booked for 2 in my name- in spite of the fact that his credentials ( same last name , same address as me) clearly indicated that he was my husband. It wasn’t so much that she was trying to verify him- it was her unnecessarily unprofessional, condescending and suspicious attitude that was the problem. She spoke to both of us like we were children trying to get away with something! Surely this is not an uncommon situation? In any case, I come into the Woodlands several times a year to visit family and usually stay at Marriott Waterway, because their customer service has been flawless- friendly, professional and efficient. They always go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome and special. You might want to take a page out of their playbook!

    The room is great! The breakfast and breakfast staff were amazing . The afternoon snacks and drinks were awful. The bartender was so slow, she had the guests line up to get the complimentary drinks to just get ignored . We waited 10 minutes and she didnt make one drink. Came down to the bar later and waited 15 minutes for 2 drinks with only 5 or 6 people sitting at the bar . Just ridiculous honestly . Would be 5 stars if not for the bar . Disappointed

    Front desk, manager's reception, and breakfast all had moments where you are looking for whoever is supposed to be working and couldn't find anyone mixed with unbelievably slow service once found. The grounds were immaculate and the rooms and beds were very comfortable, which saved the experience, for sure.

    Hotel was a perfect location for the concert that we were attending. The reason for 4 stars, we had an issue with the iron, tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room did not work. We were on a tight schedule, but we went down to the front desk and were told that someone was coming right up with a new iron, and someone would come to check the phone. Neither happened.

    It was adequate in all areas for cleanliness and service. The only thing I’d say is that when we ran out of shower gel, we called to have a new bottle delivered to us but it never got delivered after 1.5 hours so we had to call again to have it delivered. I understand people are busy but I also think 1.5 hours is too long of a wait- I stayed up until 1:30am waiting for it to come so that I could shower and then head to bed. Other than that everything was good- especially the bed. I usually have a difficult time sleeping due to uncomfortable beds but this was a great, comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and so was the complimentary drinks and snacks.

    I liked that the property was close to places for shopping and restaurants were near by. I also loved that the area is quiet. Although I was visiting for the 4th of July like many others, those who came to the lake for the festivities and fireworks didn’t seem to be a huge issue. The crowd was not out of control. It is a family friendly environment. Therefore, I felt same at all times. I also loved that there is an H‑E‑B and Whole Foods close by as well.

    Parking is $22 a night. In case you don’t notice it like I didn’t. Nice hotel, problem was the ac is soooooooooooo loud you cannot sleep. It’s constant. Like one of those bathroom vent fans but louder. Everything else was as expected for an Embassy.

    We experienced not so flexible customer service from the front desk. One the second day, we discovered a family with at least 3 children and a barking dog was standing next to us. We called the front desk to make them aware of the noise. He was told we could not move to another room. They would come up and speak with our next door neighbors. Several hours passed and the dog was still barking. We made a video from our room with sounds of the dog barking. We went down to the front desk and played the video for the front desk person. After listening, she checked her system and changed our room. In addition, the bar was short of staff. Happy hour is from 5:00-7:00 pm. During happy hour, we waited in line for an hour for our drinks. The snacks were gone @ 5:30. While waiting in line for our drinks, the bartender had to stop and refill the snacks. One person attending the bar is unacceptable!

    Everything started off great as we were celebrating our 5th year wedding anniversary and attending the Beyonce show. HOWEVER, during happy hour the valet guy targeted us and rudely tried to accuse us of parking too long at the front entrance. He abruptly approached my wife and got in her face. The vehicle he mentioned was not even ours. He skipped other people and targeted us. We were the only people of color near the bar at the time. The manager quickly approached us and apologized for his actions. We appreciate the manager for being so attentive and trying to fix things. The valet guy should have apologized. He needs to have more extensive training on how to speak to customers. I've vacationed and stayed at the Embassy since a kid and never had rude situations like that before.

    The perfect place to stay if you’re wanting a quiet getaway with good food options! The pool was great and the fitness room, top notch! We loved being so close to restaurant row and getting to walk around the lake afterwards and during the morning. We will definitely be back!

    If you have kids that like to play any game system or want to stream using wifi, do not book this hotel. It does not support the gaming systems any longer. They do not tell you in advance. Big disappointment.

    I’ve always liked staying at Embassy Suites because of the breakfast and the free happy hour, but the bar tender gave us a hard time because our passes said 3 free drinks per guest, and she said it was only 2 even though it was clearly printed and we had just been handed them at check in. She honored it but with unnecessary attitude. I would not have paid extra for a balcony room if I knew it was literally one foot wide with no possible way to sit out there along with the sliding door being a major tripping hazard. The hotel itself was nice and the room was clean and everything was up to standard

    AC was not always sufficient for the rooms with balconies facing Southwest and their willingness to address the situation, although sympathetic in tone, was inadequate (and this was May). Otherwise great value, great staff, and great breakfast.

    This one night stay has made me a Hilton fan literally overnight. I have had good Hilton experiences before but this time they went above and beyond. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary with a stay cation and a nice dinner and the hotel was the best part. Shout out to Ann who upgraded our room and left a nice card and special surprise in the bedroom. It was old school customer service and it felt like they understood the importance of making it to 20 years. Book it you wont regret it.

    Went to Houston to watch an event at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion. This hotel was less than a mile from the Pavilion. It was conveniently located and very beautiful, clean and friendly environment. Super nice staff. Free breakfast was excellent and great variety. Room was wonderful and spacious, quiet and super clean. I highly recommend this hotel when traveling near the Pavilion or Woodlands area or North Houston. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
