Expedia should’ve told me that this was a long stay hotel. I did not have maid service. There was no ice machine or any kind of beverage you could buy on the premises. I asked for a coffee shop because the coffee in the room did not have any kind of cream with it. They supplied nothing. They told me there was no coffee shops. I found one about a half a mile away. The people were pleasant who were on the staff. However, I was on vacation and I wanted a vacation hotel not a long stay hotel. This should have been in the listing on your site.

I can’t complain about a thing. It was clean, everything needed to cook in the room, softest bed ever! It was quiet and the pool was clean!

Kichtenette was a little dated, but appliances were super clean. AC filter was spotless as well. Pool & hottub good. Overall simple room & hotel but nice and clean! Good value for your money.

Room was somewhat clean but had a very musty smell throughout the room and building. Do not bring your family police presence is a daily on the property. Checked out 3 days early and the GM would not refund me those days due to the hotel not meeting safety or satisfaction.

the pool was green from algae and they refused to let me in to lay on recliners even though i promised not to get in pool.so i transferred to another hotel with 3 days remaining and they refused the refund for final 3 days

The Commode top was filled with old cigarettes burns and the room smelled bad. I am elderly and my back and knees killed me because the bed was too low. Also, the iron part of the rail that held the frame together was sticking out and it scratched a mark on my leg while trying to get around the be. The clerks were very, very nice.

We have stayed here for about a month. Room was cleaned once and today I found out that they are charging for parking. The staff at front desk need more training on their new system. The rooms are old and need painting. There are repairs done on the walls and they are white and the walls are cream colored. The drains in bathroom don’t drain so both sink and bath fill up. Cleaned the air filter myself. It was black. Went to wash clothes and one was filled with dog hair. Told front desk about the dog hair and went back over a week later and dog hair still in washer. Hopefully we are out of here in the next few days. Waiting on our house to be ready to move in.

I checked into my first room and walked in and was immediately slammed with the smell of cigarettes. I went back to the front desk and they moved me to another room. The second room I went to had a different odor. The smell was stomach churning. Almost like someone poured sweet tea on the walls and let it ferment. I opened the window and blasted the AC hoping to air it out and left for a few hours. It didn't help. I thought I could make it through the night and would become nose blind to the smell, but the smell was so bad it kept waking me up throughout the night. Finally, at around 11:45pm I asked the lady at the front desk if I'm could move rooms again or get a refund. Due to no fault of her own, she was unable to accommodate my request, so I just turned my key card in and left to sleep in my car instead.

We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our rental to open. The room was spacious and the ac worked very well. It was fairly quiet, plenty of shopping and restaurants around. The pool needs to be cleaned better, it was cloudy and debris floating on the surface was gross, but the water temp was great. We stayed here because it had the best rate for the time we needed after I used my Expedia credits.

Nice, clean and the kitchen was a nice bonus. Had dishes and silverware to cook with. Pool and hot tub were a plus!

Conveniently located near freeway exits, but traffic noise didn’t keep us awake at night, and the area felt safe. The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water, and air conditioning worked well. The kitchen was adequate for making simple meals, and additional appliances like crock pots and rice cookers were available to borrow; the full size fridge and freezer was a big plus. We didn’t use the fitness center, pool, or BBQ grill area, so we can't speak to that. Staff was friendly and helpful, and we had no problem getting fresh towels or more tp when we aaked. Extra shout out to evening reception desk attendant Theresa, who went out of her way to hunt up a folding chair so both of us could work at the desk in our room at the same time. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late and received little information at check-in. Our room had soaking wet carpets from being cleaned just before arrival, with a large fan running. The next day, a strong chemical smell had been added to mask the odor. We were moved rooms the following day, but the new room smelled strongly of smoke and felt very stale—we had to buy air fresheners just to make it tolerable. There were multiple unresolved maintenance issues: inconsistent air conditioning during very hot weather, no reliable cold water, and a TV that never worked despite a repair attempt. We were also told housekeeping was not provided for stays under 14 days, meaning we had to take out our own garbage and exchange towels at the front desk. At checkout, I waited at the desk only to find the staff member outside smoking instead of assisting guests. Additionally, the hotel had a large number of grasshoppers throughout the entrance, hallways, and stairwells. Overall, while staff responded when approached, the condition of the rooms and lack of resolution made for a frustrating stay.

Theresa was such a good help at the front desk at check in. She help resolve a super confusing situation and got me into a ground level room which I always like because I travel with a service dog. I’ve stayed at other suites and this one was better than most. Just wish they had coffee other than the full coffee pot in the room with packaged creamer.

Absolutely perfect for what we needed! High School baseball program from Canada staying in the area for 12 nights. Was fantastic, great location, incredibly kind staff, rooms are clean, very attentive GM. No complaints at all. We will be back next year.

It’s one of those hotels where you keep saying it’s not that bad until you are laying in bed and feel something on your leg. You pull up the covers and see a roach. Would not recommend.

Overall property was pretty good for a lower end priced place. Hotel did have some odd policies and lack of knowledge on the computer system. Also they only clean the room and such every 11 days. We were there 8 nights. Room was never cleaned bed made…. Each day we had to take towels to the front desk and exchange for new ones. Even thou a deposit was out in a credit card we were not allowed to room charge bottles of water and such. They also didn’t take cash. They wanted to do a separate credit card charge for each bottle of water, snack…. We went to the gas station instead. Employee at check in didn’t know how to charge deposit. When she sent manager a message to find out manager didn’t want to be bothered. I was told to come to desk at 11 pm when next employee arrived. I stood there for approx 10 mins and no employee was there.

The entire hotel smells like mold and dust. There's bugs all over the place. My room reeked with the smell of cigarettes (so much for non-smoking hotel) so badly that I had trouble sleeping, and all of my work clothing smelled like I was a heavy smoker (I have never smoked in my life) which was very embarrassing. All of the cabinets are falling apart or already dislodged. The towel holder rod in the bathroom literally fell apart holding a towel when I went to dry my hands. There was literal dirty underwear just casually sitting in the middle of the first floor hallway for multiple days. There were at least 6 grasshoppers just infesting the stairway and hallways for multiple days to the point that one of them lunged on top of me as I was just trying to go up the stairs and had to frantically shake it off. The plates in the kitchen looked dirty so I had to go buy paper plates. The blowdryer could barely dry my hair, it took x3 longer than it would normally take to dry my hair because of the model. The worst part about this experience was how thin the walls were. I could not sleep at night on multiple occasions. The noise of dogs frantically running around the room above me could be heard for over 6 hours. My room window was closed tight and even through curtains I could overhear full blown conversation (2 AM) for a few hours when I needed to get up at 7 AM for work, so I barely got sleep. The upstairs noise was a constant for all of the nights. The gym smelled like mold too....

Well I felt it was a little pricey for the area it was in, and especially for it not having breakfast. I felt we paid a little too much for what it was worth, and a couple times I was kind of worried my car might get broken into with homeless people in parking lot.

My room had everything I needed. I prepared all of my meals so the fridge, stove top and microwave were nice amenities. There was a hair dryer available. The bed was comfy. The laundry room was convenient. I loved sitting by the clean pool and area. Lots of people used the hot tub. Beautiful sunsets to view by the pool and BBQ. Front desk staff are very helpful. There's a gym as well. I enjoyed my stay and the location was central to my needs at a reasonable cost. Thank you for having me!

The location was ideal for our visit to the Phoenix area with a reasonable rate. There's less service compared to standard Hotel's. The staff were friendly and helpful!

We stayed at the hotel for MLB spring training in Arizona and on the first day we saw 3 roaches crawling in the bathroom and then one in the drawers in the room. We notified the front desk and their response was that they are completely booked and can’t move us and come back the next day. The following night we found 3 more roaches in the kitchenette and took pictures to show management. We tried to talk to management several times and the front desk continued to say she was not there. This is very concerning because my 4 year old was with me and my 17 year old nephew and this could cause health issues or even bring roaches back home with us.

I saw nothing about that and they said it was on their website, but I didn’t look at the website and see the fees. Also dog fee doesn’t include tax so that $75 ended up being $86

Always an excellent stay at the Sonesta. Staff is always friendly. I wish the prices didn’t skyrocket so much not just here but everywhere for baseball training season and the WM golf tournament. But none the less. Still a great place to stay. So many of my favorite places are close and convenient.

Available room. Comfortable bed. Tv. I was assigned room 234. That entire section of the hotel reeked of Marijuana. That smell is the #1 trigger of migraines for me. It was so strong, it woke me from sleep at 4am. I had no option but to check-out at that time and pay for another hotel across the street. The clerk made no attempts to remedy nor retain me as a customer.

Was here for my graduation and i regret booking. The afternoon staff was very nice but the staff that came in the evening was a very rude. The room was smelly and dirty there was hair on the floor and in the bathtub in the bathroom. Wasn’t a great area, there was two nights that we heard gun shots and police sirens. Old and outdated. Was not worth the price. Will never book in this area or this particular Sonesta suites again. I wish I would have read the reviews before booking.

The booking was easy. The room was actually pretty good. Mostly up to date . The layout was good with small kitchen and a great desk to work from . Only issue was cleanliness. It just needs to be kept up a little cleaner. The room i had just needed to be vacuumed a little better before checking in. And maybe a lot more air freshener. I would stay there again. Its not a resort ,but the price is good to save on a nearby business conference seminar event . Its a good place in an easy location.

Rooms are out dated this is more of an extended stay where people live rather than a hotel. Room service they do not come and clean rooms daily or change towels because it is an extended stay. Area is not great lots of loitering and homelessness.

The room smells bad, the hall smells better. Had to wait for a long time to get checked in, with no one in front of me. Apparently no one stays at the front desk anymore. Not impressed. I have worked in hospitality before and the standard is crap now, not very friendly either. Couldn't even use the restroom while I was waiting for someone to come to the front desk to check me in as it was locked. Almost peed my pants cuz of the wait! I have a reservation again for in a few weeks and want to cancel it.

After checking into a cigarette and marijuana infested room, i was delighted by sirens every night around 9pm during my visit. Asked for an extra hour to get everything together and they woukd not give it to me. Charged me for a day.

This is the location we have used every year but after this stay NEVER AGAIN! I had previously paid in full, I am aware of the $100 deposit, but they took it upon themselves to charge me another $216! Let’s add that the room stank so bad! When we let staff know they said they allow pets in the rooms and should use some type Of cleaning after each use but don’t always get to do so, in which case we asked to be moved to a clean room but they said none were available and literally gave us a can of febreeze!!! Please stay away from this place! It smelled terrible and they’re dishonest. To be able to leave!

The room was not ready for a new guest, there were no towels, no shower curtain and hairs on the bathroom sink and in the shower. I have stayed at other Sonesta properties, and it has been great, this was not the norm.

The room was very nice and clean. Nice hotel as well. The only issue was the fee they charge to check in before 4pm. I arrive around 12:15pm and was told no rooms were available. Come back at 1pm. Came back at 1pm. Was told that if I check in now it would cost a extra fee. But if I waited until 2pm no fee would be charged. That bothered me because when we check in late in the evening and check out at 11am, no money is refunded. Not sure why hotels are doing this which shows a lack of customer appreciation if you ask me. So be aware if you

Very close to our plans, and we had all kinds of restaurants and a mall pretty much across the street. Staff was friendly Hallways seems like it needs some cleaning/vacumming. We always saw a cleaning lady at rooms almost all day but she seemedto be on the phone allnthe time having koud conversations.

1). Was told at check in on Sat that Housekeeping would be the following. Sat -?we left early so they could clean - when we came back and asked - we weren’t “ on the list “ - no worries we just went and got more stuff we needed and borrowed a broom to sweep 2). When we walked in. No sheets or blankets on the bed - we grabbed the extra ones in the closet 3) No shower curtain. We went and bought one 4). No hair dryer - we went and bought one 5 ) Went to try and get laundry detergent and coffee packs - they were out - we went and bought some 6) Not staffs fault - but no accountability- dog stool everywhere - it looked and smelled awful - and I love dogs

Liked that the Room was very clean and large and rhe recliner was a bonus. Pillows were too hard so we couldnt sleep. Lobby and hallways had such a stong scent it was nauseating and hard to breath. Would stsy again of these teo issues were corrected.

I was good with the desk clerk until he changed tunes on me and threaten to call the police on me for a payment situation that I thought was cleared . I did not have a pleasant stay because I was awakened by a violent door knocking . My son cleared the payment that we thought was clear before. I attempted to get nights rest . It could have been handled a different way to clear my dilemma but .. I could not continue my stay there after that and booked the duration of my stay at another hotel

The stay was nice. The staff was knowledgeable and accommodating.

I was forced to move out of my room at 2:30 in the morning. I got out of bed to use the restroom in room 321. I found 2 roaches in the bathroom. I then went to the kitchen sink for a quick hand wash and found 2 more crawling around in the sink. I had to pack all my stuff into my bags, request a room change, and also inspect my bags to make sure I didn't have the bugs in them already. The staff was helpful, but the system was down and I had to wait another 1.5hours to get out of 321 and move. I didn't get back to sleep until almost 5 am. I had to be at work by 8 am. I was exhausted. The manager didn't show up until after I was gone, so I haven't spoken to anyone other than the receptionist

They did not have room service. The window seals were dirty, floors were dusty under table between kitchen and living area. Counters and refrigerators were dirty. Switched rooms because the heat did not work and that room too were dirty. But it was quiet and parking was convenient

I have been staying at a hotel until my home is redone from a tragedy. The staff are all rude, the housekeeping only come once a week. The do random inspections (which is fine accept I work from home and asked that on the days they do come for inspection that they come in my room on my breaks and they don’t care. They have zero compassion. This is supposed to be a place that can feel like a home away from home. They don’t make it feel very homey. Also the elevators have been broken since i arrived.

When you arrive you see a lot of drug addicts getting high in the parking lot and in corners of the property. They would leave their mess there (needles, pipes). It didn’t feel safe at all. Inside the room the walls were scratched up and rug so dirty it would leave our socks black. It felt more like a low budget extended stay rather than what Sonesta is known for. It was a little run down for my taste, I was only there one night. Oh and I paid 5 dollars to park yet the druggies broke my turn signal on my car, smh. Why charge if my car is not being cared for in a locked parking. They stand outside like Zombies from the show the living dead. It was awkward to say the least … thanks

The A/C in room 104 wasn’t working properly and then went to room 103 and it was slightly better…. Talked with the manager and she’s awesome and knows it’s an issue. I think a little discount should have been giving but I’m not going to make a big deal…. Other than that all was great

The stay was great and all but we did not get room service every day my bed was still messed up every day that I went in there but when I did ask for maintenance to come they were there right away I do appreciate that but as far as room service nobody came in to clean my house my room for a while they actually didn't clean it at all and that was kind of concerning to me because I thought you guys went in there that's what I was paying room service for.

Refrigerator noisy. Shower did not drain. No water pressure. Curtains were torn.

Just a one night stay. Close to airport. A little older property but clean. Very nice staff. Felt safe as a woman traveling alone. Didn't really use the kitchen facilities but they looked functional for small meals.

You pay for what you get really. It was smelly but I actually did my own clean up lit some candles from dollar tree and it smelled great. The hotel isn’t all the best but you can make the best of it for the price I suppose. No issues with surrounding stayers I mean some hallways smell of pet dogs etc grease oil etc but if your gonna stay in room then your ok.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The room need better cleaning. We went to Walmart for cleaning supplies. There is a pool, gym and laundry which are all well maintained. If you are staying for more than a week the kitchen is small but useable. There is a cabinet off the corridor that has various appliances to borrow (waffle, blender, sandwich press ect).

When we first arrived, the room was dirty. The floors weren’t swept. We found an earring on the floor, and the shower still had hair in it from the guest before. The receptionist was able to get us a different room, which was much better.

You can tell it was an older place. There was a weird smell from my room when I first walked in. The fridge was old and falling apart. They didn’t clean very well bc I found things in drawers and places that are easily missed.

Everything was nasty dirty. When booking, it said free parking but then I was charged for parking.

Great rate & room. Power went out for a few hours, key cards kept deactivating. The guy at the front desk was very stern, didn’t smile or talk or even greet us. Looked annoyed.

Were unwilling to help with a scheduling problem.

Made reservations, went to hotel. Front desk great. Helped me threw the mess of a night. Get up to room. Keys don't work. Go back down, front seat was pleasant. Go back up, walk in to the room! Room wasn't even cleaned. It was stripped, but not cleaned or restocked. So I call the front desk. Teresa the front desk came all the way up to give me my room key. I was a bit upset. But ended up with a clean room. Teresa was so helpful and was great. Told me she would make things right. And she did. I will choose to reserve here again for a few reason. Staff has been great. Quiet rooms. And when and if I have an issue it's always been addressed right away. So thank you front desk.

I would choose my next stay here again. Price was reasonable. Room was nice and chilled when we arrived. I really like this location especially, its comfy, feels safe. The pool is clean, decent gym. Laundry is a bit on the expensive side compared to other extended stays. Front desk is very polite and always helpful. Free popcorn in the lobby is perfect if your craving a quick snack with free Toppings too.

For my stay for a whole week they never came to clean or replace toilet paper.

The manager charged my card for $414.00 and then stated the payment never showed up but my bank told me they had the tracking number and the charge is pending because sonesta suites hasnt confirmed or denied the payment. I've been out 500 and it my mother in law didn't come down and pay I would have been sleeping on my car.

We had a 1 queen bed. Nice size, clean. Bathroom door was funny trying to latch closed. No remote for the TV. But ac worked great. This az heat has been hard. But the room. Was nice and chilled.

Although the bed was comfortable, the room felt out dated. It smelled of years old stale cigarette smoke. I also would not have used anything in the kitchen except for the coffee pot. And the shower water never really got hot, warm but not hot.

Overall i really liked this place and would probably stay again. My biggest complaint was the 2 hairs i found in the bathroom and there were a few pieces of rubbish on the closet floor (looked like it wasnt swept).

Check in was quick and easy, the price was great considering the amenities in the room. Bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. Lots of places to eat nearby. Full size refrigerator was perfect for us to refreeze our blue ice packs. Working staff was very friendly and helpful.

Bed was a little uncomfortable

Elevator didn't work. I couldn't stay and carry luggage to a 2 floor room. Now i have to dispute the charges. I had to find another hotel. Missed some of my activities because i was busy looking for a new place to stay.

The property was busy the time I got there but the vibe was still welcoming, especially the staff. The front desk area smells good, the room looks nice and cozy. They have complete amenities too. My third time staying in a Sonesta Hotel and never got disappointed.

Old carpet in the hotel hallways. Rooms need to be updated. I did like the kitchen, ability to prepare meals & spacious room.

Room was good size, clean and quite nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. However the staff was not attentive and not very helpful. No one was even at the desk when I arrived to check in. After waiting several minutes I tried to call from the exterior phone but no one answered. I went back to the front desk and waited several more minutes before someone finally came up apologizing that they had to use the restroom…. Also, when they explained they needed to take a deposit for incidentals, I asked what “incidentals” they were referring to and they could not explain it other than to say it was for parking. Please note, there is no mini bar, snack bar or room service at this hotel so $100 for incidentals seems a little steep. Upon checkout of course, I was refunded the entire amount less five dollars and some change for parking. This would have been a five star review had it not been for my experience with the staff at this location. Sad but true.

I wouldn’t come back. Stayed there a week. Elevator was out of order 3 times. Staff was ok but didn’t seem to really think it was that big of a deal it not working. Seriously!! What about handicapped people?? And what’s with their bathroom fan?? Sooo ungodly loud and annoying when you’re in there. The only highlight was the pool. I had stayed here last year and it seemed to run better but now a year later, it seems it’s slowly falling apart in areas..

I think you get a lot for the price. I like how you have a stove, a full-size refrigerator, and utensils. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. There wasn't anything I didn't like except that you don't serve breakfast, but if you did, I'm sure I'd be paying more.

Out of all the hotel stays l've had in Phoenix, this was without a doubt my best one. It's in a quiet, secluded location which makes it great for those (like me) who value their peace and quiet. The hotel has ample parking and you can park closer to your room if need be. The staff are friendly and I stayed 5 nights and had the best time. There is a kitchen with a large fridge. The AC worked fine and I just had the best stay. There's a Fry's close by if you need to buy groceries. The hotel is clean and well kept. I definitely want to stay here again.

Great trip, had a super late check-in about 130am, staff was available and super friendly. Gave a list of places to eat and go shopping if needed. Room was clean, just a little outdated but nothing to cry about. Had a huge desk to work on which was perfect for me. Bed was super confortable, a bit low for my taste but the pillows more than made up for it. Made matters even better was that AZ Mills Mall was right down the street. All in all, staff was excellent and even let me get a late check out as my flight got pushed back from midday to midnight.

The room looked like it had not been rented /cleaned in a while. The building itself was not pleasant to be in.

Room 340 had the smell of smoke. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work and there was mold on the ceiling. Finally, the dresser drawer would not stay closed. Considering these issues I thought the rates were a little high. Also, the gym was missing a pair of 5lbs and 10lbs dumbbells.

I made a mistake with my reservation and they were incredibly accommodating. They called to confirm, helped me extend the reservation, and made a somewhat stressful situation better. In addition to being a vision, Noelle was very friendly and helpful.
