    Staff was amazing! We arrived earlier than expected and they let us check in early. Dog fee is only $15/night and we traveled with a big 65 pound malamute. Room was spacious, refrigerator worked (almost too well). Breakfast was standard (waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, coffee, juice, etc.). Checkout was a breeze, heated pool, quiet, convenient location. Will return again for future trips to Tempe 😊

    Property was sketchy and very rundown. Staff felt very off and the door to my room didn’t even want to close all the way. The shower head was about chest high. Said we wanted a 6 am shuttle and they left early without us then said he wouldn’t do another run u til 6:30 but the driver came back grabbed a plate of the continental breakfast (which was terrible) and sat around until 6:35. Felt super unsafe and staff was ok at best. Breakfast was not good and under stocked.

    The young lady who picked me up in the Shuttle at 11p was sweet and helpful. When I called at 10:45p the gentleman who answered the phone sighed after I asked to be picked up by the shuttle. I felt like a bother. It’s old and needs to be updated for sure. Breakfast didn’t start until 7a and I had to leave by 6:30a to catch a plane.

    Nothing We arrived at 9:30 PM with two exhausted children, only to be told our room had been cancelled without any prior notification. Despite having a confirmed booking, the front desk offered no solutions or courtesy. To make matters worse, the staff member called the owner and spoke in their local language, openly mocking us while we were standing right there. As a fellow Indian, it was deeply disappointing to see such a complete lack of humanity and professional ethics from Indian management. Avoid this place if you value basic respect and reliability. Warning to families: This hotel cancelled our reservation without telling us and left us stranded late at night with sleepy kids. The staff and owner were incredibly rude, even mocking our situation in their local language instead of helping. This is the worst "hospitality" I have ever experienced. Unreliable, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional.

    The first room they put us in smelled like the inside of a musty wash machine. They did put us in a different room though. I went to take a shower and the water never got hot. I called the front desk to ask why and then they told us that the boiler was down. The vending machines were all out of water and the temp out side was 107. I went to the front desk to let them know and the said that there was a convivence store just up the street. Is this "customer service"?? I walked a little ways and returned to the hotel. They went to the exercise room and did get me a bottle of water. In the exercise room was a water dispenser with cold water. They didn't even offer that to us. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

    Save the frustration. Don't stay here. No hot water - not even warm. Everything is dirty. The faucets are crooked. The bathroom door didn't close because it was coming off the hinge. It's noisy because there are nonstop planes flying overhead. The toilet kept running as though flushing every 20 seconds. The only thing good here is the nice gal at the front desk.

    We just needed a good place to stay for the night and this place turned out to be a great find. The price was good, hot waffles at continental breakfast, and the staff were so nice. We had to go tell them our lock didn’t work and they had us in another room right away. I will be staying here again.

    desk manager was well informed, but overwhelmed. he needed help to handle the volume of check-ins. Bfast staffer worked her ass off to satisfy all those who wanted b'fast. She was also overwhelmed. this is an old la quinta apparently purchased by wyndham. they are charging wyndham prices for la quinta properties. I got stuck over-paying due to my circumstances, but will never do it again.

    This place has seen better days. The best overall word for it is "tired:" worn furniture, peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling, do-it-yourself fixes of shower plumbing and soap-holder. Also, I had to head out to my plane at 6:15 AM and thought I'd grab some food on the way because I was told that breakfast started at 6AM. Nope! Nada. Last: the first room I got reeked of a perfume de-odorizer that clung to my clothes when I left the room after 5 minutes there. I had to leave immediately and ask for another room. Which they did give me. It smelled less awful, but I was told that they used the same product in all the rooms. For that reason alone I would never return.

    The room itself was beyond unacceptable—dirty, stained bedding with what looked like blood, feces or worse, and visible bed bugs crawling on the mattress. We didn’t even unpack. We immediately went back to the front desk, who seemed completely unfazed, and demanded a cancellation and refund. Do not stay here. Do not even step inside unless you’re looking to leave with trauma and a rash. This place is a full-blown health hazard.

    I had a room with a "King" size bed and my feet hung off the end of the mattress. That is no King size mattress. My kids stayed in another room, and I have seen coffee tables that were larger than these supposed "double" beds.

    There was fresh fruit at the breakfast and it was perhaps better than the overall vibe would have predicted, but crowded, the hotel is quite huge although it doesn't look it; it's not very up to date, but the outside balcony walkways are kind of cool and upstairs you get a good view of sunrise. It took a very long time to get hot water in the bath and you stepped in to the tub but UP, so when you stepped out, it was down further than the floor of the tub, yikes. The shuttle had to call several times as the airport is so crazy we couldn't see each other and I couldn't hear my phone, but they were timely and nice and didn't give up on finding us.

    It is what you’d expect for a low cost hotel near the airport. It was as clean as it could be but overall in need of a major facelift (peeling paint - not enough ventilation in the bathroom), and massive chemical cleaner smell.     It was hard to understand the the attendant at late night checkin, I had a trailer so parking was difficult which was not there fault. The bathroom door would not close and the paint was coming off. The bathroom fan was extremily noisy and the was a gross amount of caulking around the tub/shower. Common of poor maintenance or owner performed maintenance.

    Rooms have a stale scent, furniture had rodent damage, drawers had clear signs of existing cockroaches, bathtub had permanent staining and peeled paint. Wood flooring was very chipped and sqeaky, also very dusty. Walls were paper thin, i cam hear my neighbor snoring and blow drying hair, even water running during the shower. Breakfast was good and fresh, staff was friendly. Parking was way too packed and sometimes far from my room.

    Floor was Dirty, Restroom had water damage, rooms need upgrades. When I called and ask about the bed size, was told they were queen beds. When we got to the room they were full size.     Yeah, we stood in room 242 sleeping quarters are OK the restroom the shower are very subpar very small. I am 5’5” and it’s hard to be to get in that bathroom between the door and the toilet and the repairs that we’re done in the bathroom look like they were done by grade school child very poor if I was able to send you pictures, I would doesn’t look like it could sell them.

    This room had poop on the wall in the bathroom, had blood on one of the sheets and it wasnt noticed until morning because we got in at 1am and only one light worked. My son slept in that bed and he didn't realize it was there until he woke up. There was also a pretty large burn on the comforter. When brought to the staffs attention, they told us to deal with it, they would let housekeeping know and there was nothing they could do for it now. Also every single outlet was loose in the room and we had to plug phones in where the one working lamp was plugged in.

    The back outside door to the office was supposed to be accessible by key card only was always open, in the afternoon and after 9 pm. The breakfast buffet on Thursday morning, 3/5 was poor. The coffee from the machine was lukewarm. The eggs and patty sausages were also lukewarm. The staff knew about the temperature problem of the food, coffee but seemed incapable of fixing the problem. The place in general is in need of makover in all areas. I would not stay here again until major problems are fixed, very disappointing.

    Check in was painfully slow. Bathroom was disgusting. Grime in the corners, grime in the toilet seat, around the shower drain and elsewhere. Bathroom was atrociously loud. Only think louder were people right outside our door yelling at 12:30. Breakfast doesn't start till 7. But it's an airport hotel, so the reason you stay there is if you have an early flight. We left at 6:30 (without breakfast and about half the patrons had already left to get to the airport. The owners know what they are doing advertising free breakfast and then not opening it till 7am. Never again. This place will be a hard pass for me. I thought La Quinta had a little better standards.

    The lady at breakfast was wonderfull. The food was terrible. The entire property is run down and filthy. Our room was filthy. the electical sockets were falling out of the wall. the bath tub had a crack. The bathroom door had to be slammed shut. The room microwave did not work. When I told a front desk woman that the ploace was dirty, why did then not even wash the front door windows? She said, "They why do you stay here?"

    During check in, the receptionist never spoke to me. She was on her cell phone in the back room. I could hear her, i rang the service bell, waited for 10 minutes before she came out, still talking on her cell phone. I handed her my driver's license. She checked me in, handed me a contract to sign, then a room key all while on her phone.

    The room was dirty. There was filth in the corners of the bathroom, like caked up dirt. Bathtub/ shower had rust stains. It was a two room suiten the a/c didn't work at all in the sitting room. Thankfully, the bedroom a/c worked. The bed was comfortable, this was the only good thing about our one night stay. Staff wasn't helpful and didn't seem interested.

    It is clear that old/stock photos are being used, because they do not accurately portray the state the hotel is in. The room was dark and dingy, with a strange smell. There was hair in the bathtub with water stains on the ceiling and lifting floorboards. The door did not close entirely, with a noticeable gap between the door and the frame. Most concerningly, anyone could walk off the street into the courtyard to access the rooms- there was no keycard needed.

The curtain over the window was torn, the shower and plumbing was very old - "60s looking and rust stains on tub, and doors of the elevator and in the lobby bathroom looked dirty (I was using my elbow to punch floor buttons). The tap water tastes awful (as is common in Phoenix) but the vending machines were out of bottled water when I tried to purchase some. I am so disappointed since I trusted Wyndham.

    The hotel is run down the furniture in your room is broken table leg is broken off. That nightstand is wobbling paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom was just dingy with stains and stuff. Then there were some confusion about my checkout date and they took all my belongings while I was at a convention and stuffed them in my suitcase with a full box of baking soda, which got all over my clothes and moved me out of the room instead of waiting until I came back. The staff was very rude. I would never stay at that hotel again and I wouldn’t recommend anybody else stay there either places in such disrepair.

    The front desk staff had to be prodded to look for another room close to the original one - we arrived at 2:00 AM and the lighting didn’t work and we asked for another room that was close and she said she would have to look. So I snapped and told her to “look”. I had to go back down to get different keys and she asked me if we touched anything?! Really?! The 2nd room had switches that didn’t work as well the entire property is not well maintained - elevator floor was dirty, ice cream spill outside the elevator's. The water did not really get hot just warm.

    The person at the front desk was not good. We arrived at 2:30am. She was helping someone. She never acknowledged us and disappeared in a back room for 3-4 minutes. Came out and opened a cabinet to pull out a box of key cards. She finally helped us. We went to the room, keys wouldn’t work. Back downstairs to get them redone. Still don’t work and we notice the door handle looks broken. Take everything back downstairs ask for another room. It was 3:00am by the time we got into our room.

    Coffee did not have a good flavor, my husband drinks black tea in the 5 days we only found one bag...     While the desk attendant was nice and efficient, and the room as expected—the manager talks to guests like they’re five year olds, scolding them despite not having signage warning a scolding might be coming. If there’s no smoking in the courtyard there should be signs saying so.

    No shuttle, tiny filthy room, no clock, no usb ports, old out dated, toilet seat broken, shower was filthy and tried to move the shower head and the pipe came out of the wall, room smelled terrible. Wish I would’ve taken pictures. After the first night tried to get a refund for the next 3 nights but was charged anyways even though we left that dump. Not fair at all

    I arrived around 10:00pm. The room key they gave me did not work. I came down to the desk, and they told me that I needed to keep it separate from phones or magnets. Brought it upstairs again after confirming it was set for the correct room, still didn’t work. They then changed me to a new room. This time the key worked, but the room was in terrible condition. The deadbolt on the door did not lock. I informed staff of this, and they said maintenance would be there that night or the next morning to fix it, neither of which happened. The room smelled faintly of smoke. The door had multiple dents in it, which were patched with duct tape. The carpet was covered in stains, some of which were sticky. The carpet did not appear to have been recently vacuumed. The air vent above the desk constantly leaked water. The TV guide did not indicate the correct programs. The breakfast offerings were bleak at best, with a few bland scrambled egg pucks or pieces of sausage available, plus dry cereal and a waffle maker. The food did not taste fresh or have any flavor. The staff was friendly when I interacted with them, but they didn’t seem overly interested in solving any of my concerns (room key, deadbolt). The only silver lining to this place was its proximity to the airport. If I would have read the property’s reviews prior to my trip, I definitely would not have stayed here.

    We were placed in room 114 which was roach infested. I was told that by the exterminator. The tub was spray painted. There wasn’t any water pressure. Phone charger was stolen. Phone cord was visibly cut was out of order. We kept having someone bang on our door. It was a very traumatizing experience. I would Not recommend anyone stay here.

    The room was supposed to be "non-smoking" but definetely had smokers in the room; air freshers did not work everytime you walked in the room smelled like mildew; the "airport shuttle" was an employee driving their personal vehicle and making an illegal u-turn to go in the direction of the airport. The morning front desk person is rude so do not ask her for anything.

    The room was ok fairly clean comfortable bed but the bathroom was a mess. The sink leaked onto the floor and tub clogged. The tub was old so instead of replacing it, they sloppily painted it. So they had to move us to a different room. That rm was better but bthrm door hinges were loose and wouldn't close properly. The complimentary breakfast had nice options but closed early at 9am but when I saw the roach on the countertop, I just decided on coffee.

    We had 5 cochroaches in our room, the bathroom is so small you must step into the shower in order to open the door and I'm 120lbs! Needles and garbage are easily spotted throughout the property. I'm one who isn't bothered by old outdated properties but this is down right dangerous and filthy. Spend the extra $25 and go somewhere else. Honestly this place should be shut down and La Quinta should remove their name.

    It was filthy. My feet were black after two minutes. Roaches EVERYWHERE. Product left all over the bathroom. The meter breaker had sour milk. rotten apples, and more roaches. The bathroom in the lobby never worked our five day stay. Maids just walked in. The pool was filthy. WiFi was non existent. TV just glitched. And the guide was completely wrong. The few plugs (3) each had a malfunctioning outlet. The air conditioning didn’t work in the first room. We had to move. It was by FAR the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and strongly recommend you not book here. Run, as fast as possible. The roaches are right behind you.

    Room was flooded when we arrived late at night (underneath floorboards). Didn’t fully notice til next morning. Wanted to switch rooms and got accused by hotel staff of flooding room ourselves.     This hotel has the basics you will need for a short stay. My room did not have a fridge or microwave, so that was inconvenient. Laundry room was available for $3 wash and $3 dry. Breakfast options were very limited, but always had fresh waffles and juice. Only a few ice machines were working. The pool was kept nice and clean. The staff were very friendly, especially the young lady at the front desk with red hair. She was so helpful and nice! I would stay here again.

    My husband and I chose this property while visiting family and wound up not even staying at the property after the first night. The room was extremely dirty with blood stains on the carpet and a loaded firearm was inside the drawer next to the bed. We let the front desk know and were moved to another room, but after providing the police with the photos and statement of discovering the firearm in the room, we were unsettled. I asked to speak with management and they nothing was done during or after the stay period.

    The front desk were very nice and very helpful. Angelica in the morning was so very nice and really helped me out. The outside of the hotel looks a little sketchy , but I felt safe.     Very disappointed with the rooms. The first room had a horrible stench and stained bed spread. The bathroom had wet paper or some kind of debris in the tub along with dead bugs. The 2nd room had stains on the tile floor another dirty bathtub and no bath towels. No bath towels no problem as we wouldn't step in that bath.

    I really like la Quinta where I came from South Dakota, they are clean. This particular la Quinta was not clean or comfortable. I couldn't sleep at night, i was bit and wasn't sure what bit me. I had all the lights on and just as i set back in the bed a bedbug ran across the pillow. I killed it and took a picture of it on my phone.
