The door deadlock did not work and I asked maintenance to help me as soon as I checked in but they never did… paying $800+ per night should provide better service.

The staff and property management team worked well together to ensure our stay was comfortable. The only letdown was the front desk associate was not able to help us with basic information on local activities for entertainment, obviously inside information Google couldn’t provide that a local persons knows. Also, the buffet was decent but expensive for what it compared to at other hotels that is complementary. On a positive note, the view was lake side and very close to the river walk and next door to the American Social( great food and great outdoor music).

How ordinary. Despite the glowing description on the website, and Expedia, we found this hotel to be your typical convention center. The entry and exit floor, street level, was dirty, gum covered tile, cigarette butts everywhere, The second floor front desk is small and ill placed off to the right as you exit the escalator and not even visible from the elevators. Front desk staff seemed very indifferent except for KIM, who was very polite and friendly. We were “gifted” a $15 daily food credit and we applied it to our overpriced breakfast on two occasions. After that we sought breakfast elsewhere for the duration of our stay. On Thursday and Friday we found ourselves walking through the displays for a Hematological convention, the only way to access the elevators! The only positive thing I can add is that the Concierge staff was very helpful and friendly, and the view from our eighth floor room was nice. The room itself was very average. Accessories such as the coffee maker were all stuffed into the TV console, making it appear that the room was not used in awhile. The room was clean and comfortable with nice amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion.

Lots of pets and weddings there. Great location for Tampa Christmas boat parade.

The pool access was a little difficult to figure out, but it did provide privacy. The service was great.

The room was very clean and nice, had a great view on the bay and it was super relaxing. The location is also amazing, right in the city of Tampa, we were able to walk to every place we went to, dinner, lightning games, etc.

Not enough seats by the small pool area. Had to go up to 3rd for to catch the pool elevator and then back down to the Lower level to get to the pool. The 'restaurant ' seems like an afterthought positioned off the lobby as if it's in a holding pattern for something better to come. The windows in the restaurant were filthy. We chose our lodging based on location and pet friendly. Location was great. Although i didn't ask, nowhere was it mentioned that having a pet added $50 per night to the stay. With all the additional fees (not including restaurant) our $219 per night room exceeded $800 for 2 nights.

Awesome staff, very kind and helpful. Nice water view, the bed was super comfortable and the workout space had chilled wet and dry towels. The wet towels were eucalyptus scented - perfect! The textured walls and bathroom tile was dated, but that can be overlooked considering everything else was on point. Thanks for a relaxing stay!

I am providing two stars simply because of the front desk staff they were friendly and courteous, especially the individual who checked us. But let me detail as to why only two stars: Restaurant: our first terrible interaction was with a retiring staff( Hispanic woman with blond hair). She was dismissive and cold when I wanted to order to go as we waited for our rooms. It was as if I was a bother to her because I was not sitting at the bar and opening a tab. Our second interaction with another retiring staff was more pleasant (dark hair woman worked Saturday night) she noticed I had my son with me and came around the bar and brought our food. She was super kind. Third interaction was with the Hispanic woman again and this time was worse. She was not kind to a food runner who brought a burger to her customer that had fries instead of chips . It was her fault because she is the one who obviously rung up the order. When I noticed we waited a while I walked over to the bar to check and our bag was just sitting there as she twirled her hair while smiling and talking to a customer. But I didn’t get a smile. Our food was sitting there for quite some time because I passed by several times and saw the bag but because she never motioned to me I assumed it was not ours. Mind you we were the only ones sitting to the left in the lobby where she can see us. Overall the food was not that great. Especially our final Night the brown rice was bad smelled as if it was spoiled.

The too. Was great, the front desk was amazing but the valet people were pitiful. On Sunday it took them 40 minutes to get me my car which caused us to miss some the football game we specifically came to Tampa to see.

The room was a nice size and very clean to accommodate my wife’s handicap. I found the staff to be quite friendly. Not a single staff member past you by without a smile and hello. The valet staff was very helpful with helping me load, unload, and getting our things to the room. I can close by saying this, I’ve been a flight attendant for over 20 years now and have stayed in many hotels across the country, this hotel beats them all for nice rooms and friendly, helpful, courteous staff. And the hotel smelled great too! Would highly recommend to others.

That being said, the hotel has plenty of underground parking for all people who check in on site, but it is only available to those who pay $50 for valet. I know there is a massive amount of parking because I walked through it on my way back to the hotel after parking my car in a garage 10 minutes away, paying $15 a day. The hotel is nice, with beautiful views of the area, and is conveniently located near the convention center and downtown areas. The included breakfast was also excellent, but the valet situation left a sour taste in my mouth.

Came for a concert which was cancelled, but enjoyed the stay nonetheless.

We enjoyed our room which had great views of the water, allowing us to watch some cruise line ships on their return. The property restaurant was pricey, so we only used once during our stay. My daughter had a great time in the pool area and we would definitely return if in that area again.

Free room upgrade due to rewards program. $50 valet parking and normally a $50 resort fee is high, but expected at a metropolitan four star hotel. Customer service was fantastic

The hotel staff and room was excellent in a great location to walk around and enjoy the city. Only reason for low rating was the attached Ruth Cris steakhouse. As we were seated and waited for a waiter/waitress for thirty mins and didn’t get service at all. So we left and went to the hotel bar restaurant and were served promptly and the food was excellent.

Convenient and comfortable. Loved the pool & restaurant & lounge. Parking was a bit pricey.

The hotel was definitely a vibe. We stayed from Friday until Monday. Friday and Saturday was definitely a vibe everyone was so nice and welcoming.

We love the location of this property! The food at Jacksons is excellent and has an amazing view of the harbor. We ate there 3 times over our 3 day holiday so you know its good food! We also shared a slice from Fold, they too make amazing specialty pizzas 🍕! The rooms and beds are comfy, the carpet should be changed out, it has been walked on a lot, but it is still very well kept and maintained. Our housekeeper was the best she took fabulous care of us to make sure our stay was perfect! Our breaky staff Juan and team were super cool and even recalled our foods we ate the day before and brought us over some of the items we had enjoyed the morning before. Kate at the front deak ensured we were hapoy and comfy in our room and helped us to extend for an extra night. We have stayed here before and its walkable to Amelia arena and the convention center too. Hope you enjoy your stay! 😘

The view was awful, the room was very outdated. There were cheap repairs done to the bathroom door. Overall over priced with hidden destination fees. Not a fan, I wouldn't stay here again. There were no in-room microwaves, the ceiling felt low. The room was dark. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable and the room smelled good.

Kate at the front desk was very helpful. Our daughter was staying in one of your rooms for a conference. Coincidentally this is the hotel we booked one extra night in so the kids could fly out on Monday. Cate allowed our daughter to stay in the room, she was already in and our two older boys who were Staying at a different hotel for the same event we able to just move into her room for the night so they could all be together and they didn’t have to change rooms.

The room and hotel was very clean. We were there for an offsite wedding so didn’t spend a lot of time there. Our room was very clean but could use an update which I think they are in the process of doing. Bed was comfortable and a nice large tv. Bathrooms were very clean and nice large shower. Our only complaint was they didn’t have change at the desk for valet, housekeeper etc.

The Westin was everything. I loved the hotel. My room view was on the bay. And most of all we were so n midst of everything. The valet parking per night was expensive $50 but outside of that everything else was nice. I highly recommend

I love the rooms the ladies at the front desk were really nice. The lobby bar staff was amazing with Patrick being the real MVP drink suggestion were on point the old fashion with the cinnamon was amazing. The locationhaa a little bit of everything definitely family friendly.The harbor view is a must have room if you can.

Great location! Pool is not as picture appears. Hallways and the stairs need to be cleaned and or painted. Front desk very helpful.

Property is very old and in desperate need of remodeling. Dresser door was falling off. Toilet would stick and run continuously. The entry to the pool area was hot humid and smelled horrible. They advertised things on their all day menu that were only available for breakfast (yogurt parfait). It actually was promoting to order this 2 hours before bedtime for better sleep but when I tried to order it room service they said it was only available for breakfast.

I used.to hold high regard to the Westin hotels, but this one was not up to par. Usually that hotel smell is all over and it was not. The rooms were outdated and could use a makeover.

Property location is awesome. Very walkable and quiet being on Harbour Island. The views are amazing. The staff is great. The pool is small. The property is getting a little dated, but they keep it very very clean. Can’t beat it. I will be back.

Location was great Nothing

Our room was very disappointing. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The bathroom vanity had multiple cracks it in with dirt accumulated and hair (not ours) on the floor. The AC wasn’t working hardly at all. The bedding was way to bulky and hot. The comforter was 5-6” thick and extremely heavy. Definitely not for Florida heat. We came back from a concert and drove up to the valet. There was man was standing there looking at me and I politely asked him if valet was still open and he looked at me and said I don’t know I’m security. And didn’t say another word. Very rude. We had breakfast at the hotel with a 10% voucher they had given us on check in. There was no one to greet you. We stood there for a few minutes and I finally caught eye contact with a waitress and asked where do we sit and was told to pick a seat. The buffet was overly priced for the quality of the food. Very expensive for the quality of this hotel.

Great location and onsite bars/restaurants. Staff friendly and facilities high quality.

Needs a bit of updating especially for the price. The pool area was very dirty with trash and dirty towels all over.

Loved the Location and the Bar Restaurant in the Hotel was great as was the staff Would have liked a little coffee Shop in the Hotel..

We always stay here when going to a game and Jackson’s bistro downstairs is a bonus!

The staff at the front desk are amazing and helpful as can be. They offered free breakfast for confusion of hotel/room. Beds are comfortable and they provided a free roll away that was also comfortable. The pillows were not as comfortable as the beds. The property needs a renovation. The room and halls smelled of sewage and the fire alarm blinks a bright white light 24/7, which kept us awake at night. The pool was over crowded with no towels and I was over charged at the pool bar. I paid $500 a night to stay here, definitely NOT worth that amount.

Disappointed in the cleanliness and services provided. Room cleaning service didn't even change the sheets or empty the garbages between days. Furniture in the room had stains all over them. Bar drinks way over priced & for $300 plus a night I would expect much cleaner all around better condition of the hotel.

Beautiful and convenient property. Easy access to the convention center and restaurants.

Overall, I liked this property. It is in a good location and everything I needed to getto was in walking distance. The onl thing I would say is I think some parts of the property need sprucing up starting with the outside signage/dormer. It is older but painting it back black would make all the difference and enhance the overall appearance and first impression of the hotel. Some upgrades are also needed to the rooms mainly the bathrooms. But it is still a nice hotel and I would recommend it.

Great walking to different places

Beds were cozy and comfortable. The hotel is good, parking was additional $50/day which I didn’t expect. You had to valet. Gym was nice, pool felt secluded/private. Water pressure in shower was great!!!
