    This hotel was very comfortable and clean, and they had a very nice breakfast! The only difficulty was that the elevator closest to our room was closed so we had to walk far and down different hallways to reach the other elevator which was inconvenient. Otherwise, it's a beautiful hotel.

    Spacious room, TVs (2) worked painlessly, very comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean floors, bathroom, plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Speaking of the body wash, created loads of suds, nice smell unlike other hotels. We had no complaints what so ever.

    Overall a good stay. The first issue was the wait time for the shuttle to get us from the airport to the hotel. It was well over 30 minutes and we were told about 15-20 minutes. Then, we got to the room and room 400 was next to a very loud vibrating mechanical system. We went back to the front desk and got changed to another room. The front desk employee was EXTREMELY sweet. She was there again in the morning and called the shuttle for me to go back to the airport to pick up the rental car. Again, it was way more than 30 minutes. She saw that 2-3 shuttles already came and told me that I wasn’t allowed to go on their shuttle because they were full or going somewhere else. Finally the fourth shuttle came and told me that the rental car center is not in the terminal so she blamed it on the front desk and said that she was going to call another shuttle for me. I interjected and said that I was going to go on that shuttle to the main terminal and take the monorail to the rental car. It was pretty shocking to me that the shuttle driver wasn’t as familiar with Tampa airport as I was. It also bothered me how she tried blaming it on the front desk employee who was a model employee. Before we left we looked out to take a look at the pool and the water was cloudy and green. I wouldn’t have gone swimming in that pool. The market was convenient. The rooms were clean. It was impossible to access the other side of the king bed with the sofa bed being open. 5 stars for the front desk employe

    Michael at the desk was passive aggressive. When i called for shuttle he never mentioned what to look for. We waited over an hour for pick up. When i called he said are you looking for the right van? I said looking for one with Marriott and he said its A1 to which i replied saw that but the driver never opened his door to ask us on the sidewalk either. The worst part was Michael said he needed our credit card for a hold, said it was $x. He charged$5x on a room I prepaid $5x+, said he would fix that but he didnt. The next day at checkout, the worker at the desk told me with Expedia they dont charge a hold and agreed it was no mistake what he did was wrong, also encouraged me to call a general manager because Michael actually was a manager. Sheets were clean. Breakfast was fair. I have a dispute in with my credit card. Shame on you Michael. I was completely respectful with you. I guess you thought it funny to leave us waiting in the cold at the airport and play games with my credit card.

    I had called to an extent another day and asked for us to have two beds. We were given a room with one bed so I requested the two beds again and they gave us a room. It was very nice. There were three TVs in the room and none of them worked so we requested another room with working TVs.

However, we were disappointed that the "fully renovated" room had a broken door in the bathroom, a bathroom door that wouldnt close without a lot of force, and wall trim that was coming off the walls. Parking was okay. Ssomeone blocked parking spaces with cones, which was frustrating because there isnt a lot of parking closer to the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful. A lot of healthy options and good quality. We were also confused about being sent emails every afternoon that we needed to check out and that our tv always said welcome to a different name every night. Overall it was good, but for the price, I'd rather stay at one of the other hotels nearby that cost only a bit more.

    The 2 members of staff we dealt with were super bright and helpful. Room fabric is old, and I reported that the W C seat needed replacing, but water pressure was good and everything we used in the kitchenette worked. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The stay represented good value.

    Unfortunately when we arrived in town the system was down and we couldn’t check in at 8p. So I said would it help if we grabbed a bite and came back, the employee said yes and apologized. Upon returning we were able to check in BUT I learned there was another charge of parking which I was unaware of. Nobody’s fault I just don’t like surprise costs. Nice place to stay and employees were Friendly.

    Great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did witness a morning employee behave inappropriately as a result of the night clerk leaving some tasks undone. She used a lot of foul language, yelling and screaming. It was the lady with the bleach blond hair. The other staff apologized over and over for her behaviour. Not fair to give a bad rating for all the others. She needs to get a hold of her emotions and be more professional. Other than that it was great.

    The location of the hotel is close to everything I needed, and the staff was very professional, courteous, friendly and quickly took care of everything I needed, to include replacing a leaking shower valve. The breakfast could have been better: the eggs were not kept warm enough, the bacon was overcooked and crumbly, and the sausage was way overcooked, dry and hard.
