The hotel was exceptionally clean, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The service exceeded our expectations, and the accommodations were wonderful. Everything about our stay was exactly what we had hoped for, making our anniversary trip even more special. Thank you for helping create such a memorable experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others visiting the Tampa area.

Beautiful hotel and views were amazing Parking was horrible paid for parking but could never find available parking in the garage and it was very tight coming in and out of the garage. We couldn't enjoy the private beach most of our stay due to private events.

I reserved a bay view room. Was given room 901. Not a bay view. Very disappointed by the view.. Very disappointing

The seal at the base of the glass door to the shower needs repaired. The bathroom floor was swimming with water after showering. Used most of the towels to absorb the water.

Absolutely love this hotel and the restaurants. The rooftop restaurant Casa Cami never disappoints — the food and drinks are always so good. It’s my go-to spot when I need a reset but I’m not quite ready for a full vacation. This time I even made it to the beach before check-in, which made it even better. ✨🌴🥂

Hotel was new, clean inside and out; rooms were comfortable and very clean. Brew House for Coffee in the early morning was a wonderful experience, as was the onsite Bar and Restaurant. Staff was helpful and friendly. Outside entrance to the hotel and Valet Parking was always congested and created delays getting in and out of the Hotel. The Valet staff worked very hard to reduce any delay and move the traffic quickly, unfortunately the design of the entrance itself was creating the bottle neck. - I would suggest planning extra time when looking to meet your Uber or receive your car from Valet Parking.

It was great and the rooftop restaurant is perfect. The food was great and the margarita was perfect.

Requested to speak to the manager on arrival due to unsatisfactory room conditions; no response. Again after three days no response; and again at a week and no response. Contacted Expedia for help and to shorten my stay by half. Only than did the manager reach out stating he was just made aware of my situation; however I knew that my account was documented several times at my request. I requested my complaints be forwarded up to the next manager and of course no response. I don't recommend at the price point.

Great location to explore Tampa, close to Downtown, Hyde Park and the airport. Fantastic views on the bay from the room and the outside deck. Breakfast was good and offered gluten free options.

The views were great. The bed was comfortable. The staff isn’t that nice there not friendly did not make it very enjoyable. We would never stay there again very snooty/rude. Terrible location. The ramps that go up to the hotel are horrible if you have a big SUV or truck good luck to you. You can’t get in the hotel from the parking garage. Terrible set up.

The room was spacious, clean and just fabulous. Only reason it's not five stars was that I could hear noise all evening from the restaurant on the floor above me. Otherwise, splendid!

You can't beat the location of this property. The views of Tampa Bay and surrounding areas is A+. The property is older and a bit run down, especially for the room rate charged! Our room had scuff marks on the walls and the windows were very dirty.

We paid for a Bay View Room, and we got a room with a view of cement and a tank. We asked to change room, and we got a better view in a handicap accesible room. The curtain was not coming up, and the shower was not working. We had to ask to fix these issues, and only the shower issue was fixed. We needed a crib for a 20-month-old child, and they did not have any, so my child had to sleep on a blanket on the floor. Therefore, we had to ask for an extra blanket, and we had to wait half an hour to get one. We were already asleep with a towel to cover up.

Location is central to Tampa, St Pete and Clearwater. Hotel is beautiful, loved the view from our room, loved sitting on the dock overlooking the bay. Restaurants were great! Water was soft. Literally the only complaint!

We were unexpectedly stuck in Tampa after missing a connecting flight and needed a hotel in a hurry. The Current was super close to the airport, and gave us an incredibly lovely 24-hours to rest and recharge before our disrupted trip resumed. I especially appreciated the noon check-out time, as we didn't feel rushed out the door.

All the staff members were very nice and helpful except for one person: the staff member named Joseph was extremely rude and almost yelled at me. I was staying with my friend who is a USA Navy vet and she had her service dog with her as she suffers with PTSD, we left to the beach and temperature was 98 degrees, we had to leave the dog in the room. As soon as Joseph found out that we left a service animal in the room he started to yell at me that I have to pay $150 pet fee since we left the dog in the room unattended. We weren’t aware that it’s a big deal especially when it was extremely hot weather that day, I told him that I will speak to my friend and she come and pay with her card, as soon as I walked up to my room I had a call from the reception that they tried to charged MY card and it was declined, so Joseph decided to immediately charge my card without my permission when I clearly told him that it is my friends dog and since they obliged us to pay she will do it with her credit card. Thankfully the manger who I spoke to later explained to me everything in a respectful manner and I wish we’ve been told about this specific rule in this hotel since we’ve never had such a situation before. Thanks how ONE staff member can ruin all the impression about such beautiful hotel

To start, they gave me a lower category room, I pay for a king extended room and the gave me a standard king room. On top of that, the second day my room was locked and can’t get inside, they switched rooms on us but nothing was offered for the inconvenience. Food was just ok and service need lot of improvement. For the price you definitely should get much better customer service.

First visit, loved it. It was a surprise birthday vacation. The room view was amazing. The service was fantastic and the food in the restaurant was awesome. Maybe parking. It was hard to find a spot during the weekend, due to the top floor restaurant. But overall was great.

The property was exceptional. Everything was clean and the arrival was very pleasant. The glass of champagne at the moment you arrive, was the cherry on top. The view was incredible. No dislikes.

Gorgeous hotel! Amazing and friendly staff from valet to front desk. Stunning view from our room of the bay. We didn’t get to use the pool or outdoor areas because it was unseasonably cold, but they were beautiful too. Rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The room was not ready when we arrive there at 4pm. Needed to wait for another 25mins. My next door room was so noisy until mid night. She was on the phone over an hour and watched the concert on TV and we could listen everything loudly in our room.

Also, although the food at Julian is really good, they have a horrible gnat issue where multiple of them will land in your food and drinks.

I had an amazing time at the Current hotel. I will most definitely be back. Starting off check-in was smooth and easy and was presented with a nice chilled glass of champagne for me and my wife to get the ball running for a beautiful weekend stay… We really enjoyed our rooms. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean and spotless What a beautiful water view… one thing I definitely have to say the food and drinks were fantastic ! The food and drinks at the top floor restaurant Casa Cami was everything! We dined three days in a row, and the drinks were amazing… everyone Of those drinks Were made perfectly. Now for the food, immaculate, outstanding that I even ordered seconds and thirds! The number one favorite thing I ate was the Carnitas tacos wow! The guacamole was amazing, the ceviche delicious, the snapper Crudo also fantastic! But definitely the star are all the tacos. Super delicious and moist! All in all the only thing I would say needs a little bit of work is valet, but that was nothing compared to the experience we had at this hotel. Will definitely be back love the staff everyone was friendly five stars!

We had an excellent time celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Property is gorgeous, rooms are clean and well kept, restaurant Casa Cami for dinner was amazing, Julian for breakfast was delicious and staff were just so accommodating and friendly.

The hotel was great and the staff was fantastic!! Only issue was that one of the elevator was out of service for last day of my visit but other than that the hotel was great!!! We definitely visit again 😘

The room 216 AC was not working, we left for an event and when we got back, the staff had not fixed it and were gone for the night. So spent 2 nights in a humid 78degree room.

Such a nice hotel room, such incredibly cheap paper products in the room at a cheap plastic toilet seat. These diminished the quality of the experience, but overall we were very happy. The shower was awesome! Loved the rainfall showerhead!

This property was everything the pictures displayed. I went for peace and recieved peace. The front desk clerks were all very kind. The barister was amazing and the scenery was just what I needed. I hadnt seen the sun for a few months and this stay was very rewarding of it.

Checked in Christmas Day, hotel was beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, right on the beach. Rooms look new and modern, floor to ceiling windows.

Room was dirty especially the toilet. AC super noisy, didn’t stop droning all the time. Very disappointed.

The room (corner 7th flr) was fabulous, my view was exactly what I needed. Rm was clean and spacious. I didn't use the restaurant or bar. The only thing I didnt care for is you have to valet and pay, the waiting and paying everytime I want to leave is not necessary. Definitely worth my stay.

Everyone from the front desk to the waitress and bartenders are so professional and welcoming. The smell of the hotel hugs you as soon as you walk in. The property is beautiful and new. The views warmed my heart. The pool is amazing. The food is excellent. I loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you so much to everyone for making this a great experience.

Upon checking in … my check in person was Spectacular… I don’t remember his name but he’s African American, Tall, skinny with clean dreads.. soft spoken and very professional.. he was on point with everything being that we booked through a third party… Breakfast was Phenomenal… Bartender ( He’s from Miami ) we loved him… we ate at the Julian restaurant for dinner … The rice was undercooked, The steak was ok…. I’ve had better … and I feel you need to do better with your lunch menus being so it is a 5 star hotel …

I loved this hotel. When I go back to Tampa this is going to be the only hotel that I am interested in staying. It gets 5 stars from me!

The view from our room and the rooftop bar was overlooking the bar andnwe could see the planes landing at the airport. This was a big bonus for us as my boyfriend is getting his pilots license. We had dinner at the restaurant with a group of 7 and every single dish was amazing. Our server was fantastic. We hit the gym one morning and it had plenty of cardio machines and workput equipment with a view of the bay. Just a fantastic stay and Id stay here if i ever visit the area again.
