    We enjoyed our stay here for one night. We liked that the room was clean and comfortable. The airport shuttle was also convenient. When you land, contact the property and they will contact the driver and schedule you a pick-up. There is a mall and a Publix both within walking distance. Use the crosswalks as the intersections are huge and very busy with traffic. We travelled with our toddler so it was important to have a location where places were walkable. The hotel was a short distance from the cruise port which was the reason for our trip-Cruising! If in the area again, we would definitely stay here again.

    I found this hotel to be pretty, comfortable and somewhat friendly. Check in was fast and they text me frequently asking if I needed anything. I asked for extra towels and I received then in 5 minutes. I didn't like the pool area. Leaves were at the bottom making it feel dirty and tons of smoking by the pool bar! Cigar, cigarettes, vaping and pot. I actually felt sick sitting there, couldn't breathe.

    Nice hotel in a good location. It has a nice pool with a full bar. The breakfast was excellent. My only knock against the hotel was that the fridge and the two reading lamps in our room did not work. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

    I arrived at 3:10 PM with my two kids and was told there were no rooms available until 4 PM. What surprised me was that the hotel had previously encouraged me to sign up for early check-in, so I expected a smoother experience. The hotel itself looks old and clearly needs maintenance. What shocked me the most was how highly rated it is on Expedia compared to the actual experience. My advice: do your research before booking. I would have gladly paid a little more for another hotel if I had known what to expect.

    They only provide 2 towels (we booked a room with double beds). The bathroom walls were disgusting (had blood stains on them). The towels provided - one of them had blood on it. The blanket on the bedding as well had a stain. The room also had a bad smell coming out of the vent. I sneezed about 20 times. They rectified it by changing our room.

    This hotel was a big money gauger and we were super disappointed. The cabana by the pool was $100 and included nothing except for bottled water... We paid for hundreds of dollars worth of drinks and food during our stay and they tried to charge us $75 for a late check out. The food was cheap, microwaved nastiness. Will not be staying here ever again.

    Hotel wasn’t bad, the room door wasn’t sealed properly so there were bugs in the room. They were doing construction on the road beside the hotel. We asked for a room further away in the main building and they didn’t help us put. Literally did nothing about it. The whole room was shaking during the night. I know it’s not the hotel fault, but they should’ve accommodated us with a room in the main building where it would have been quieter.

    The suite facing the pool is spacious and comfortable, but the transition from the lobby to the pool area was disappointing. The hotel feels newly renovated at first, with a modern vibe, but once you reach the pool, it feels less refined—more like a motel than a hotel. Consistency in the renovation would elevate the experience. That said, the staff was attentive, and if the outdoor area were updated, the hotel would better match its promise. Unfortunately, the breakfast was quite underwhelming for the price, making it not worth paying for. Housekeeping also fell short: floors weren’t swept, towels weren’t replaced, and on Sunday, no room service was provided, leaving the room unattended. Even on other days, the trash wasn’t emptied, and it seemed only the bed was made.

    Hotel Alba exceeded my expectations. Maybe I’m an amateur, but I’ve never stayed at a hotel that allowed guests to communicate directly through text. They checked in throughout my stay and kept me updated on everything, which made the experience feel much more personal and convenient. There was state construction happening outside the hotel, which was obviously beyond their control, but despite that, the staff still provided immaculate service and did everything they could to make my stay fantastic.

    Under the radar hotel (as it's not downtown or walking distance to UTampa or Hyde Park) but PROs out way cons. Super convenient as it's 10-min. from airport yet doesn't feel like an "airport hotel" as the property is fresh, clean, stylish, warm and comfortable. Reasonably priced, attentive staff, quaint bar and rec areas often with local musicians, plus restaurant and spacious pool bar with quality food. Bonus —they have an airport shuttle. Minus —wish they had queen beds (vs doubles) in the 2-bed offerings. Highly recommend.

    However, I have two small complaints. First, the lighting in the rooms is not the best. It’s only lit by lamps, which can be a bit dim. Second, some guests may pay extra for the pool view, but be mindful of the noise level. You can hear everything in this hotel, from the planes to the pool and the slamming doors and people walking past. Despite these minor issues, I can’t wait for my next stay!

    We had a bad experience with the towns road construction noise that was clearly out of control, to the constant pounding and drilling noise past 2am . After a late check in at the hotel it was too late to contact Expedia to request a new hotel.

    Room was not clean enough. Hair is everywhere floor was dirty. Air conditioner is the loudest air conditioner i’ve ever seen in my life. Even next room a/c was loud. It was a construction everyday next to the pool or inside of the restaurant or outside. Always something was going on. Check-in was messy in the app our room number kept changed probably they were keep giving away the ready/clean room whoever complained first. Inside bar area was so loud even after the bar close. Entertaining drunk customers its not a hospitality at this point. Food was bland not tasty. The only person was nice was pool bartender she was great. i forgot her name but she was working Sunday also Tuesday. Worst Hilton ever.

    The Shuttle, which they offer two and from the airport and also to and from Raymond James Stadium is not reliable. Also, I know I booked well in advance of a busy time for the hotel and even though I am a seasoned Hilton guest, they put me in ADA Room with a terrible view. The room also had a very loud AC unit which blew directly at the head area of the bed, and it only came on when the temperature discrepancy was so much that the air that it blew out was absolutely freezing no matter what the thermostat was set to.. I was woken at multiple times during the night by the AC turning on to the point that I ended up having to have the room AC set to 80° just so I wouldn’t get frozen out. The woman who worked the front desk gave off major mean girl energy to the point of being very noticeable. Also, the food at the hotel is not good at all and extremely overpriced. Whoever the hotel hired to do upgrades to the hotel, obviously did not know what they were doing and maybe this was because they were just trying to save money and get the cheapest labor possible. But it’s clear that the tile job in the shower was somebody’s first time ever tiling anything. Overall, I give this place three stars. The location was pretty convenient and within walking distance to Publix a mall that is half empty and some nice dining spots.

    Location was good. Free parking. We stayed at room #719 Beds are super uncomfortable, smelly pillows with stained sheets and blanket with a big hole. The toilet tank sometimes stays empty like water system is defective. The bathroom sliding door has no lock and it slides open by itself. Definitely not acceptable. Breakfast not included.

    Upon arrival, we encountered significant noise disruptions due to large soccer families being hosted at the property. The noise level was excessive, forcing us to relocate to the 11th floor in the tower. Throughout our stay, we repeatedly had to ask children to stop playing in the hallways, which detracted from the relaxing experience we anticipated. We were also unable to enjoy the pool or the outdoor lounge area, as these spaces were consistently occupied by the soccer families each evening. This greatly limited our ability to use the amenities we had paid for. Additionally, we experienced issues with hot water availability. Each morning, there was very little hot water, and on the day of our departure, we had to take cold showers before catching our flight.

    We were the only ones in the restaurant at the tim. We ordered appetizers and only one came out. The same guy that told us about the restaurant ended up being the person taking the orders and he appeared to be the only person there cooking and waiting tables. Other people started coming and ordering and we never received the other appetizer we ordered which I'm still waiting for. At that point we asked for the check to leave and he said "oh I took the other appetizer off the check". That should not been a question when we never received it. Then they charged 20% gratuity plus asking for a tip. Plus I gave him my credit card for the meal but he put my room number on the receipt, so now I'm concerned if I'm being charged twice. This is very upsetting. I brung my wife here based upon the reviews and location and she is quite upset about that.

    A group of kids from a cheerleading competition were allowed to run rampant through the halls of the hotel at all hours of the night. Room is in urgent need of updating, the rug had a huge stain on it that was rather disgusting. Staff was friendly and polite but overwhelmed.

    Due to an unexpected medical injury, I stayed at this hotel for 14 days to recovery. Every staff member I came in contact with was kind, compassionate, and concern about my health recovery. Their actions and words were outstanding and helped in my daily improvement to eventually travel home to Illinois. The hotel has a nice setup, and I saw sports teams, military members, business gatherings, a celebration of life, and families on vacation during my stay. And, Tampa Bay Bucs fans. Thank you.

    Room was great. Hotel very nice. Only 2 complaints. The inside of the elevator was nasty. They needed to step in, let the door close and clean that! Also they offer car transport but they don’t manage it very well at all. Do not rely on it. I was told it leaves the hotel every 30 min. But that’s not true. They have 1 van and it just leaves when someone comes down. Also when you call for pick up they will tell you he’s on the way. After 3 calls and waiting 45 minutes we finally just called a Lyft. Had they been honest and said it would have been 45 min wait we would have happily called the Lyft right away. Now I’m a frustrated customer because they choose instead to pull me along until I gave up. It should also be noted it was raining on and off. Not a good day to be infinitely waiting. The problem is they keep saying “he just left. So it will be 10-15 min.” But they don’t call th driver to see where he is actually going or who he has already committed too. Very poorly managed service.

    I recommend getting breakfast included. They have buffet style on weekends and made to order food from a menu. If not covered buffet is $30 per person and breakfast for two from the menu would run you around $50-$60 including the automatic 20% gratuity. Food is hot and fresh and shout out to the waitress we had every morning! Deposit fee is $25 per night. Parking is $18 +tax a night for in and out privileges. Lots of parking available front and back of the hotel. Overall hospitality and quality of stay was 10/10. Would definitely stay here again!

    There was a gentleman at the front desk on the night of me checking in. I arrived around 3 am. Check in of course wasnt until the following day. I was extremely tired from the drive and he found me a room and allowed me to check in. I am extremely grateful for him because I was too tired to look elsewhere.     Shuttle bus to airport. Modern hotel with spotless rooms and very comfortable bed and nice cotton linen and sumptuous pillows for a fabulous nights sleep. Superb warm outdoor pool and poolside bar and restaurant. Friendly staff and shuttle bus drivers can not do enough to help. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

    The hotel temperature was very warm, only 1 elevator worked and you had to press a ring doorbell to access the elevator. We were overcharged for parking - valet instead of self park. When I asked about it the staff gave me a hard time for the credit. I expected better from a hilton property. Never again!

    Ok stay. Close to shopping, food, airport. Suggest not booking a suite. Major updating needed. Horrible (old, musty, damp) smell. Old furniture. I was switched to regular king room. Since I prepaid through 3rd party site, hotel manager could not reimburse or compensate me for the $200 price difference. Also Hilton will not grant points because booked through 3rd party.

    We were assigned a room at check and that room was not up to the Hilton standards. The room had a smell, stain on carpets and sofa, and dusty. We had to go to the Publix and buy cleaning supplies, spray air freshener, and plug in air fresheners. Then we came back to clean and disinfect. We initially tried not to deal with it so it would not be looked as complaining until there was a large bug crawling on the sofa that my child had been laying on. We reported it to the staff and they were apologetic and said they were under renovations. We could not move rooms that night due to hotel at capacity. There was not communication on the website about renovations or I would not have made the choice to stay. We were moved the next day. The other room was cleaner but we had poor service again because I room did not get cleaned for the day. We left around 8:40am and returned around 11:05pm. My husband had to go to front desk to get towels and then go back again when we were out of tissue. They offered to have housekeeping come but my son was sleep. We spoke to a manager the day after initial issue and she was apologetic and tried to offer compensation. She said it would difficult process to try to refund a night stay through Expedia. She offered points to compensate but the amount of points given weren’t equivalent to a night stay like I thought it would. Self Parking was covered but we did not take breakfast due to not being happy with cleanliness. We were disappointed in 4 night stay.

    I don’t even know where to begin….my 6 day stay was terrible at Alba and honestly I’m shocked this property is a Hilton. Do yourself a favor and do not book your stay here. It took me 3 DAYS to get two pillows from House Keeping, they try to bait and switch me to another shittier room upon check in and when I argued that my room was not the same room booked they gave me the “Bonita view” room I booked but it was of a dumpster and parking lot. There was not ONE overhead light in the entire room, I had to do work in the shower so I could see what I was doing (only overhead light) Tried to order room service twice and the order both different days wouldn’t go through. Oh and the elevator has been broken for months leaving only one out of three available for guests. I complained about all of the issues and no one cared, reached out to me or anything. Also, the daily parking fee was $10 on the parking box meter and the hotel charges you $18. I could go on for hours about why not to book.

    Can plan accordingly. Rooms were nice and clean, however, none of the phones work. Security could be a little tighter, not difficult for anyone to gain access , perhaps requiring key card to access elevator.     Our stay was just OK. The room was small and clean and the bed was comfy. The service at the restaurant and pool bar was extremely slow and a 20% gratuity was automatically included in everything. When people know they'll get tipped regardless of quality of service, they tend to slack off and it seems that's what happened here. The front desk staff was OK. Not super friendly but efficient. I don’t think we'd stay here again.

    Elevators but one was out of service. English speaking staff was limited. Areas roped off by crime scene tape, blocking off exit areas-was told they were power washing the outside, very noisy. Was never told about a parking fee of $18 a day until I checked out. Poor customer service! I always thought of superior service when hearing the name Hilton, but this stay changed that.     This property staff treated us awful from the moment we checked in. We had to ask for towels because our room had two big towels and two wash cloths and that was it. When we did they gave us crap about it and the towels ended up being dirty. Our what was to be included breakfast room service was wrong every time and then I was charged for it. The sink had been slow draining dirty water so when we got to the room it was nasty as well as the shower looked to not have been clean. One of the elevators was broken upon arrival and stayed broken the entire time as well as the WiFi. The only parking is in the back of the hotel and you have to walk clear through the banquet area to get to the front desk because they block off the front door loop for valet only. Our room lock was dead when we got back after 11, when we called for assistance no one came and I we had to grab a gentleman that was heading to fix something in another room, thankfully he was nice to two young ladies sitting in the hotel hallways at 11:30pm. Our thermostat had been messed with several times during our trip even though we had a do not disturb sign on our door so no idea how that happened. When I tried to discuss this and the charges that made my bank account go negative after we checked out, the staff and manager were rude to me and all they did was give me the most insincere apology. Also, just something that made us frustrated, the sliding bathroom doors do not stay shut nor close all the way.

    I do not recommend this place. I booked for two days and could only stay one night. There is too much noise, shouting, fighting, and the smell of marijuana. The beds are dirty and full of a damp smell. The service is terrible, giving you attitude. I had to leave early, receiving a response from the manager, Briam, that the money was non-refundable.

    The setting was pretty . The pool is too small and should be open later . There should be one free complimentary meal or at least free breakfast. The room order delivery was not good at all . The refrigerator in the room did not stay cold entirely .

    The property was beautiful and the staff was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. There were a lot of issues with the plumping the weekend we stayed. Even with that happening the staff took care of us and helped us out right away any time we needed it. Outside of that it was a great stay. I would recommend and I would stay again.

    We were visiting a friend of ours. This hotel was clean, renovated and had great amenities. The location was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in Tampa. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Great value!

    On the positive side, the staff did compensate us for one night’s stay and also covered breakfast and parking, which we appreciated. However, overall the experience was stressful, and unfortunately, we would not stay here again despite the good customer service.

    Loved the property, location, and especially the rooms. Only issue was that I could not use the closet. It smelled moldy, musty, and old. You could also smell it with the door closed.

    At one point we had an emergency and was stuck out our room because the door battery went dead. We waited over half hour for assistance. The wait was an issue but it was more the nonchalance from the staff regarding my inconvenience. They offered nothing. The gentlemen that did finally help was very helpful.

    Arrived later 7pm to check in. No one at desk for a bit. Got to room and had a happy birthday surprise but wasn’t our bday. Was told to keep stuff but didn’t want cheesecake that was sitting out all day. Was on first floor and raining out. Drove in large gross bugs
