Hilton Garden Inn Tampa East/Brandon

Staff was friendly and location was where I needed to be for work. The room wasn't clean. There were pubes in the shower and German cockroaches in the bed. Very disappointed for a stay at the Hilton.

We needed an accessible room, and the staff was running a little behind on the housekeeping. The desk manager suggested that we enjoy a welcome cocktail while we waited the 10 or 15 minutes they needed to complete the process. The room was well worth the wait.. VERY SPACIOUS and extremely well laid out! Way to go HGI.. one small note... the vanity area should be enlarged... but the rest... 100% great!

The swimming pool deck was dirty (needs pressure washing and deck sealer). Cigarette butts and dead leaves piled high in the corners. Some of the deck pavers were an inch higher and elderly people and clumsy children could trip and fall, which could result in a lawsuit. Not safe. One of the downspouts was out away from the brick building because of a broken holding strap. The chair cushions were filthy and one of your table umbrellas is broken (it won’t open). The other table umbrella opened fine. The towel stand had 2x3 course towels (scratchy). You should throw them away or use them for cleaning. Other hotels that we stay at have 3x5 soft towels that are appropriate for chaise lounge chairs. We are HGV club members and are very disappointed in the upkeep of this Hilton Garden Inn property.

We were very happy with the check in process and the room was clean and comfortable. Our only complaint is how loud the air conditioner was when it would come on and off! Woke us up all night!

Our room was spacious, clean, and absolutely perfect. The front desk staff could not have been more pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. We enjoyed some luxurious time by the pool and overall our stay was excellent!

We spent $400 for one night, yet the shower never got warm enough on a cold day/night, to take a decent shower. The bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly and the paint on the bathtub was peeling and exposing rust which actually cut my daughter's foot. Also,I ripped the sheets off of our beds because both fitted sheets had stains on them. The room also smelled old and musty/damp.

Everything stood out! The staff was amazing, the room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable with a pillow top mattress and the location is absolutely the best with amenities and places to eat and shopping very close by

The hotel was under renovations and the bathtubs were peeling paint and they would not put me in a room in which the bathroom were repaired. Going forward you should advise your customers if they are renting a room that is under renovations.

Hotel was under renovation but this was not stated on the hotel website. It stated that it was recently renovated. I would not have booked if I had known that was happening. It made the hotel very difficult to work in with the noise. It was also extremely dusty.

We were put on a floor where there was construction so not very presentable. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the containers. Bathroom dirty and low water pressure. Staff indifferent to our concerns.

Stayed overnight with my husband. We reserved the king room with sofabed, but we were advised when we arrived that the hotel is currently under renovation and there aren’t any sofabeds. The pictures on the site are what they expect the rooms will be after renovation is completed. However, the actual rooms are not yet finished and are not as pictured. The rooms with sofa beds are priced higher than the rooms without them. If I had known the rooms wouldn’t include the sofa bed I would’ve paid for the regular room, which is what I got.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in a longtime. Beautiful surroundings and just the right distance from Tampa. Also had a restaurant so we didn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to. Can’t go wrong with Hilton and the price was on target.

I’ve stayed here a few times before the last time it was being renovated. Location is always great for the activities we had planned. Comfortable and I liked that they now have a restaurant inside the hotel that wasn’t too expensive and the food was good. The price was ridiculous for a one night stay.

I was expecting more for the amount paid. It's a nice hotel, but it's very overpriced.

Under construction, staff not very friendly, extra charge for everything including a bottle of water in the room, and bed was uncomfortable. Not what I expected from the Hilton Brand.

The rooms are poorly maintained, with ac/heating systems that are not properly functioning and not cleaned so when heat was turned on manually, the heater smelled like burning hair and dust - we have little kids and they were coughing from the smell - it was either we freeze or breath toxic fumes; the bathtub was clogged and didn't drain so kids couldn't take a bath; there was no functioning vent in the bathroom so smells and shower mist would not be drawn out; the body wash bottles were missing and when I notified front desk they promised to take care of it but did not; there were 4 people per room but they only provided two towels, we had to go to the front desk to take an extra towel; the breakfast was not complementary, small selection and overpriced; there was no manager whenever we requested to speak with one; we did early check out and just as when we were checking in there were no luggage carts available. The front desk told us that other people have them in "their rooms" but we saw maintenance crue using them instead. We asked to use one and they refused so we had to carry our heavy bags by hand from second floor.

We arrived to the hotel and we didn’t know that was under construction. The lady at the “ front desk was nice but the area was under construction. You can smell the dust everywhere. My room was for 4 people and I have just 2 towels . The room was good.

Hotel is being renovated but that's good to see because it shows that they care, broom was really comfortable and updated staff was super friendly and accommodating and it was a about 20 minutes to either Busch Gardens or downtown Tampa

All staff members were nice. It didnt look like our rooms carpet was vacuumed or clean. There were long pieces of hair all over on 1 side of the room. Hopefully once its done renovating, it will be a 5 star hotel. I under alot of places were damaged by the hurricanes so thats why I gave it a 4 star.

I’m a Hilton honors member for many years. They give you complimentary waters, they told us they were in the room, but wher none there. Hotel had huge damage from Storm Milton and is under complete remodel. Price was extremely high for the conditions!!!!

I saw on hit on garden inn website to expect free Wi-Fi and breakfast, neither were included. I was there with a friend for a concert and some creep bombarded us at the entrance to get in his car and ride with him to the concert, I felt vulnerable giving my email and number to front desk out loud because of then men. We used a safe Uber. But also we weren’t really greeted at the front and or clock was set wrong and we couldn’t change it. No big deal but just weird. Nice beds though!

The bed needs to have a sheet then the comforter. The bathroom needs a fan. The carpet in the room was damp. Also need to supply room with USB ports.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location for our concert at the amphitheater. The hotel is back off the main road so it is quiet and felt very safe. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. I would definitely stay again.

My bed was hard and I didn’t realize until my last night when packing and checking under the bed for left over stuff and the bed creaked really bad my whole stay. But the bed was broke underneath that is why it creaked when I was In it. This hotel also needs quiet hours there were people who stayed there and just loud all hours until 2 am sometimes and I was next to a handicap room but the person who was in there would let their door slam and had their tv super load early.

This was a nice clean property. Beautifully manicured landscape. Hotel room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed it. My only complaint is they “ran out” of shower gel and I believe housekeeping made my bed with some of the same linens after I asked them to change my linens after 3 nights of being there.

I called the property direct asking for a first floor room because I am disabled and my mother is elderly. The hotel promised me a second floor fully handycap with a roll away shower, meaning walking. Well we received the third floor room with a tub. First disappointment. Second disappointment was we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. We were told they serve up until 10:00 p.m. we arrived back at the hotel at 8:45 and waited 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. Having been raised in my father's Diner in New York from a young age I learned about the restaurant business and a good work ethic. Being considerate knowing that the workers the cook and the waitress would want to be able to go home at 10:00 we will arrived at the restaurant by 8:45. Because of waiting 20 minutes to be waited on it was now past 9:00 p.m. we finally ordered a very simple grilled cheese and tomato soup and was brought a burnt, very burnt grilled cheese and an almost Frosty tomato soup with a dirty look from the cook because he had to restart the grill he presumed that dinner was over with way before 10:00 p.m..

The location was a bit of a drive to local restaurants and local attractions, but the surrounding area was very quiet. I'd visit here again in the future for sure.
