The hotel is located near the Hard Rock Casino and the Ampitheater, which is great. The rooms are small, very basic, and we had a long delay to check in due to system issues. The staff struggled to manage the situation, but did their best. There's nothing special about this place. If you're looking for a place to sleep only, it will work.

There was an allergen in the room that caused me physical distress. When I asked for another room, the hotel staff denied me and I slept in my car most of the night.

Nice clean hotel. Room had everything you would need to stay for a week. Huge shower. Nice warm pool. Great front desk clerk. Price was great too. And so close to the Hard Rock!

After a long work day and drive through pouring rain I was greeted warmly by Jess. She explained everything about the hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast and the Otis Spunkmeyer muffins. When I checked out the staff thanked me for my stay and told me to come back again. No kleenex in bathroom.

1) Housekeeping is very inconsistent. They only showed up once during a 4 day stay. There was no floor mat for the bathroom when I checked in, and when housekeeping came 2 days later, they put in a floor mat but left only half the number of hand, body, and face towels that there were on the first day. 2) The mini-fridge in the room was not working. I left a pizza in there after dinner one night and realized the fridge problem only after the pizza tasted off the next day. 3) I woke up to termite swarms all over my bathroom (in the toilet, on the floor, in the bathtub) one day after it had rained the night before. Apparently this is a Florida thing but it was very gross and weird that they were either nesting in the property or found their way in so easily through vents. I had a tiring work trip and was spending little time in the hotel so didn’t have the energy to complain or time to find another hotel, but will not stay here again. Staff is very polite, which was the only plus.

Close to the casino so Ubers we’re cheap. Shuttle is small and doesn’t fit everybody who wants to go to the casino. We stayed here for that reason but never even got to use it.

It was clean Didn’t like been close to the highway noise of the traffic plus the noise of the air conditioner in the room too much!

Breakfast was decent. A nice variety from eggs, meat, waffles, fruit, muffins, cereals, assortment of breads. Coffee was well stocked and delicious. Rooms were outdated and small with cracked tiles in bathroom, stained/worn bathtub, and rips/tears in carpet.

We had 2 different front desk clerks during our stay. They were both very friendly, accommodating, and, answered all of our questions and concerns promptly and took care of what we needed. My only other complaint is they seemed to close the pool / hot tub down for any reason whatsoever even outside the listed working hours of the pool.

It was an older building and the tvs where smaller than the ones in the other for the price that you pay for the room and the quality of the room in this situation the math wasn’t mathin

The hotel needs some updates bed was a little uncomfortable. Hot tub didn’t work. Staff was friendly, pool was nice.

The only issue we had was the first room smelled moldy but we were moved instantly.

The hot tub jets were out of order and that was super disappointing. In addition, we had ONE towel for showering/bathing in the bathroom which we didn’t discover until after returning from a show very late at night. When stopping by the front desk the next morning, we asked for fresh towels and additional towels. We returned to find TWO towels and refreshed hand towels. We didn’t ask for it but the bed was not made nor was the trash taken out. Super disappointing stay. I admit I expected MUCH more from a Marriott.

Previous tenant urine all over the toilet seat. Dried, came off as soon as I wiped the seat. Hair all over the bathroom, the bathroom floor and shower. Almost as if the bathroom wasn’t even cleaned. When I attempted to check in, they said my reservation was canceled. No warning was given. She said they will try and check with another property in the area but she made no attempt to do this. I had to make some calls to find a room. I tried having the 3rd party get a refund but it’s been over a week and nothing yet.

The property was conveniently located near the fairgrounds. The building was dated and needs improvements and renovations. The staff was exceptional and made up for it - the breakfast was good and the servers were excellent.

First room smell like mildew so the front desk gave us other room. This room was ok. Casino is in the title of the hotel but these isn't one. No hot breakfast was serviced on with a not that hot server wasn't working.

Overall very discouraged. The chair in the room was tiny it reminded me of a chair they sell for children in big box stores. The back only went up halfway up my back very uncomfortable. When we opened the curtains in the morning there were dozens of flying ants inside along the window. The insects had com in through the AC unit. Upon checkout we were charged 10$ for two 20 ounce waters. Shame on us for buying them. I asked if I could get a twenty dollar bill for four 5 dollar bills and the checkout person said the don’t have much cash to exchange this. This Marriot property does not accept cash. This is the United States of America and they don’t accept cash. The staff overall was good but the best staff member was the lady that set up the breakfast on Wednesday morning May 29th She was not scheduled to work but got called in. She went out of her way to help the guest. We will not stay here again and very discouraged with this Marriot property.

If you are not going to have daily cleaning the you need significantly larger trash cans as we had nowhere to put trash. We had to pile it on top of the microwave/fridge. You need to leave more towels and washcloths from the start. The shower curtain was too short for the tub and flooded the floor if you are not careful, which then uses even more towels to clean up. The jacuzzi was really dirty and are was not clean. The room was clean, but the bathroom had hair in the tub. Also, I feel the air conditioner was loud and clanky, but cold.

The suite was not what I booked and they did not want to change it and the area to walk my dog was not an area, it was a sidewalk. There was a bunch of bushes and trees. Then there was hill where my dog could've got lost or fell down.

Great place to stay! Rooms were great! The bathroom counter space was amazing! We didn’t get housekeeping on our second morning. That is totally fine, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. I wouldn’t have thrown my bath towels on the floor in a pile if I had known. 😂I would definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely be staying here anytime that we visit Tampa.

Check in with Maria was exceptional. She was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. Location to where our events were was great. My 3rd stay at this hotel. Highly recommend. Just a thank you to Maria, have had many hotel stays and she was just amazing!!!

Very loud highway noise all night from my room on the 3rd floor, did not get any sleep. Also graffiti on the walls of the room and bathroom. Off putting.

I love this place. Front desk & breaksfast staff rock. Room so spacious and clean. Location is quite. Hot tub was hot. Only critique- the pool needs to be cleaned of its slight algea issue

It was a very nice hotel room. I just felt like I was driving through a rough area to get there.

Computers down when we arrived. Room really small. No hand soap, or wash cloths. Really dark entering parking lot at night. Didn't feel safe.

Stayed for 2 days n nights. Swimming pool hours state 7am to 11pm. Tried swimming at 9pm. Was told swimming pool is closed. Hmmm. Swimming pool was awfully dirty. Never saw anyone clean in the 2days I stayed there. Came from out of state very disappointing. On top of that 1 of the elevators broke on 2nd day. And currently when I checked out still broken. Imagine that. Customer Service is gone. Maybe never ever to return.

Waited for check in to get off a personal call-stood there about 10 min. Didn't have the room I requested with a handicap shower. Breakfast wasn't ready when we left a little after 6:30am, Dogs barking at night. Unfortunately not a great stay for my birthday.

Checking in was fantastic. The person at the front desk had great professional personality and did a proficient job of checkin me in. I found the room to be immaculate and comfortable.

Customer service was great! Room AC was making weird noise and the room was not cooling properly. The bed was hard and there were no USB plugs. Smallest Marriott rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Definitely needs upgrades.

The property is very close to the Amphitheater which was very convenient for us.

Roaches in the room. Not the room i booked location around the hotel was really bad didn't seem safe at all. Beding was dirty and the beds were hard. Not an extra roll of toilet paper had to go ask for it and go get it. They didn't take cash. Website says they have a roll away bed but they said they didn't.
