The place is decent, maybe it just needs a lot of rennovations.

I wasn't even able to stay I booked online and once I got there to check in I was told it would be an additional $100 to stay which was not disclosed to me through booking and I was not given a refund so I'm not happy at all

This property could certainly use an upgrade. The accomodation was relatively clean, but had clearly seen better days. I canceled my reservation after finding two insects in my room. However the front desk staff was very kind and accommodating.

I do expect a response from either DoubleTree or hotels.com

I can hear a plane every few minutes

The room was clean, the internet was ok, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower faucet leaked, and the noise was very annoying. I also didn't like that I had to clean all the garbage and throw it in a dumpster, or I would be charged $125. That is the first time I have ever been told that.

booked this for 19 year old active army grandson. It did not say that a 19 year old could not have a room. He had a military ID Florida statue 509.095 states anyone who is active military can check in despite age I had to argue with desk attendant

The lady that worked the front desk was great! The hotel itself needs work. The rooms did not have trash cans and we seen bugs in both rooms we tried there. Room should have been $40 instead of the 70 paid. Only booked because of some unfortunate events happened but still won’t go this route if I had to again.

The receptionist was the only good thing about this stay. The room looked destroyed and decayed. First 30 minutes and found a roach joining us for dinner. The tub dripped all night and outside didn't exactly smell family friendly. Good enough in a quick pinch but never comfortable going back.

Air conditioning was sufficient. Rooms had a few roaches. There was an odor I had to expell with a fragrance bomb. I also reported water leak in tub area. The room was adequate. No complaints just observations that needed to be managed.

I tried to call Booking.com to cancel and ended up booking another (more expensive) hotel and the location said that they would offer me the credit, but it still shows basically paying for 2 hotels for same night in same location. I hope Booking.com will honor the sites response. I filed a request, but have not heard from you. I am not comfortable in hotels with outdoor entry. It took me 40 minutes to try to speak with the counter (who she was super nice, Selina), but she was the only person working and there were a lot of people in the lobby.

Since we got there cleaning was terrible, everything was dirty, it wasn’t that safe, the air conditioning wasn’t working that well, overall just bad, I would like to request a full refund to my original method of payment visa ending 6262.and i will never stay on this hotel ever again

Even though this place is super cheap, if you need to sleep at night and be in a clean room, spend a few more bucks and go somewhere else. I stayed here the Sunday night before a major medical procedure at a nearby hospital. There are all sorts of shady characters loitering in the parking lot all times of day. From 1am-3am someone was playing an electric guitar with an amplifier and a microphone above us. From there I think he serenaded the building as we heard him outside our door at one point. Around 4am we heard what sounded like a gunshot from behind our building. We had it booked for two nights so my husband could stay close while I was in the hospital but we left at 7am and never returned. There was no one at the front desk to help us in the middle of the night and our room was disgusting on top of all that. Splattered food or something was on the fridge door. Do not bring kids here and do not come alone if you have no choice. Buyer beware.

bugs in the toilet paper and on the bottom of the toilet,I had told the staff and took pictures and they told me they come out at night. I refused to clean bugs they didn’t give me a new room or didn’t come clean them for me. So I better get my deposit

Very dirty: trash in the halls/elevators, AC didn't function properly, we saw roaches in the middle of the night, no handsoap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom, we're thankful we were refunded but would never book this location again.

The stay was awful. First off, I was charged $550 for the stay after another hotel had failed to hold my reservation. There were bugs everywhere. There was blood stain on the bathroom floor and more blood stains on the bed sheets. We had to change our flight to leave our first thing in the morning because we could not sleep in there. It was a terrible experience.

There was a bit of a smell in the room that you can get used to. The cupboards are many and all empty. They sell packages of plates and cutlery or cooking untensils to use. The TV didn't have a remote and the first one they gave us didn't have working batteries. Its on a very busy road but 6 blocks away there are 2 good restaurants and a plaza with a CVS and a TJ Maxx and a thrift store,Golden Corral and Niki's Omelet and Grill were worth the walk. 2 and a half stars is a bit generous considering the cost at $800+ (CAD) for 2 nights.. Other hotels were charging more for the last minute March break customers but they might have been worth it.

Seemed like a lot of suspicious characters were walking around during the evening. Parking was fine, & it was close to a lot of shops.

TV was newer and had many channel options Parts of counters and vanity falling apart, floor was not level. Floor had large raised areas in the kitchen and bath areas. Refrigerator was rusty all over one side on the outside of the fridge. Very outdated unmatched everything! Room was not very clean, I found toothpaste in the bathroom sink when I arrived. One lamp didn't work. Dirty area around outside steps coming up to my room, dirty steps as well.

Not a thing! The young lady that checked me in was the only nice part of this place. I checked in and checked out the same night because it had a gross smell and roaches. I felt extremely uncomfortable. This place needs to be torn down and or redone bad

This had to be the absolute worst roach infested room I have ever stayed. This place is crawling with timy German cockroaches. They were in all the appliances, furniture, and walls. Our food wasn’t even safe in the fridge, and even would pop when you used the microwave. Health department needs to shut them down

I called and another woman told me that I must leave the keys inside the room....I told her no because I won't walk all the way back to building2...nobody tell me that I have to leave the keys inside the room. The staff was inadequate for the number of people checking in. There was not any heat in my rook and it was in the 40's. They had no solution and they did not have extra blankets to offset the cold. The 1 individual on staff did not seem to be that motivated to assist.

But turned out that few of the guests who were checked in by her started having cold and flu symptoms Those guests can’t take a flight back nor can afford to extend their stay. The front desk is a small room with no/poor ventilation. That is a real health hazard.

It is full of roaches, the little german cockroach, i had to leave 1 hour after check in, not even the price listed is worthy, wont even stay for free. I killed like 10 in 1 hour. Staff were very nice and friendly, nothing to do with the service.

We pulled up at 12:08 sketchy place and confusing parking lot plus drunk weird people out wondering around...then you have to use a phone that is outside to call the company they call the hotel and then the lady comes back on and says I'm so sorry but they said they don't let anyone in after Midnight so if you booked through a 3rd party just call and get refunded...WTH!

The cleaning staff let the door SLAM behind them with every room they cleaned. My bed shook. And each room they went in/out at least 5 times. I actually thought they were just purposely heaving it shut, but evidently that’s just not holding it shut. Hard to work virtually in the afternoon with that going on.

We called and reported it they did stop. The host where good. The room was dirty roaches on counter and walls. Bath tub wasnt cleaned right still had a ring. Stove and sink was dirty also the refrigerator.

Entry to the lobby requires a call on a service phone, even before 8pm, when I checked in, the exterior is not kept well (old, dirty welcome mats, a flip flop, dirty screens, trash, etc), my non-smoking room reeked of smoke, the paint was cracked, rust on the whole side of the refrigerator, dirty bathmat, not one spoon, cup plate anything in an extended stay hotel (but I think you could request things), my last morning there was a huge cockroach in my room and then there was no one in the lobby for check out Their desk hours don’t start until 9 during the week, 10 on weekends and no one seemed to be on call - not at all helpful.

My flight landed at midnight, and by the time I got to the hotel, there was no personnel to assist me. The doors were closed, so I had to book a different hotel to spend the night at.

It was smelling like marihuana, the room was not very clean. Too much people walking around and made me feel unsafe, not breakfats was serve even though it said in the reservation. Poor communication staff.

There was no one at the front desk to check me in. They refused to reimburse me even though I booked the room 30 minutes before arrival on site.

Undoubtedly the best hotel I ever stayed at. My wife and I loved it there. Plan to return soon. Really was a pleasure to spend time there absolutely amazing

The tv didn’t work in my room. So I was switched to another room with a working tv but the a/c was leaking water on the floor all night. They really need to do some upgrades to the hotel asap. I will not come back to that extended stay again

Oh my gosh, where to begin....not enough parking, door would not close right and could see right through the crack at the people outside. Windows are filthy! Low flo shower head that not only was filthy rust but hardly any water would come out. Every single person there if not asking me for money was asking for a ride somewhere. No need to buy or bring marijuana, just go outside and smell the air. So many drug deals going on in parking lot. DO NOT STAY HERE. One travelling couple pulled in, looked around and left not to return.

I got roaches in my room

This place is a dump, flies in the room the bathroom smelled weird and there was homeless people staying right next to my window on the side of the building. The front desk staff gave somebody my room number that I did NOT want to want to see I didn’t even stay in the room just pay more and get a better room elsewhere

It was a regular hotel to spend the night before an early flight. Nothing luxurious/ it served its purpose and I would stay again if I have to.

Everything about this property was not good at all and I ended up not even saying there. Roaches and people stealing your things were not the experience I wanted to have. Upon checking in, I rebooked another room in Brandon.

Halls were as dirty as a dirt road. There was trash and cigarettes. One morning We had to fill a form to get clean towels and pick then up in the afternoon. When we went to pick them up, they were not there. No clean towels available. Our toilets clogged, we were given a plunger. Breakfast-cereal bars and muffins.

I choose this place due to it being close the the airport I had the worse stay and sleep people outside all night partying and could not sleep. I felt very u safe.

Room was clean and close to the airport. The ONLY negative is some of the guests hanging around outside looking for a score. A little shady, otherwise good.

There was garbage left in the parking lots. Only the shower was available; NOT the bathtub to take a bath.

This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever encountered. To be right next to the airport for convenience is embarrassing. The trash was piled up in the hallways, the stairs were all dirty and sticky. It was "free breakfast" but it was only cold coffee and energy bars. Please do not stay here.

Super beat. Deep wear and tear on cabinets. Scratches all over appliances. Sticky dirty floors. Had to wear socks to walk around. Dead bugs on bed and chairs. Filthy walkways. Elevator didn't work. Vague smell of cigarettes in the room. Sheets were clean though.

Staff was nice and polite but there were roaches all over my room. Counted 3-4 with pictures also. Requested refund

Dirty, roaches every corner. Smell like a box of ciggarete. People smoking marihuana kn every corner. It was horrible. Had to leave 3hrs after check in. Never again

We pulled into the parking lot to see a beat up car being worked on, people sitting on old milk crates outside their room smoking, people feeding their pitbull in a Home Depot rental van. The property was covered in cigarette butts, and smelled like an ashtray. We checked in, walked into the room, left the keys on the table, then went to a different hotel for our stay. We never used the room. Wasted money.

The room was very dirty. Dirty linens and towels, roaches and insects. When we complained to the front desk that the room was dirty, the clerk said "oh I believe you." We stayed for one night and checked out a day early with a refund for the second night we didn't stay for.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stated in my entire life. This is the definition of a roach motel me, and my dog stayed here, and my dog left with fleas! Is definitely ghetto. Do yourself a favor and pay extra money to stay somewhere else. Don’t bring your precious pet here either because you will regret it.

Room size is good, bed average clean, consumables like towels and shampoo and soap are excellent. Grab and go breakfast is good. Staff was friendly. Room is clean.

It was very loud and people walking around outside making noise at all hours of the night.

The room was adequate but they have no security to control excessive noise all night long by other customers..the noise started and continued talking loud ,yelling,,etc at midight and continued till I opened my door and told them that we were trying to sleep..after some argument they entered their room

The office wasn’t open, so we had to wait for check in. There are two of this brand within 5 miles of each other. Our reservation didn’t specify which hotel it was. Therefore we waisted time going to the wrong one. The main door had no sash, therefore dirt, leaves and small items could blow into the room. Accomodations were old, rusted and mildewed.

This hotel I would not really recommend. There was roaches, no Kleenex, basic I found 2 cups that was it.

I had to throw away food because the fridge did not work, put in three complaints, never fixed, had to go to front desk every other day to recharge key card, front desk was very rude about it, overall a lousy two week stay

Toilet wouldn’t flush, bed had plastic under sheets that crinkled all night, no trash can, tv to dark to see, no usb port. Electrical outlet missing face plate and sparked when I tried to charge phone!

Staff very nice but hotel overall not nice due to being older and worn. Bathroom upgraded and shower nice but carpet worn and stained and roaches in room (killed 5). Urine smell near stairs and not sure if human or animal. Not a very good location. Pictures were not true to actual place or room.

Being in between apartments meant that I stayed longer than I had anticipated. I was disappointed about this, but Tony, the manager, gave me assurances that our stay would be enjoyable and that our accommodations would be met even if he had to personally deliver them. Tony is the best overall, and he merits the greatest title or promotion available!

Poorly located with impossible traffic in and out of location. Room was okay, but overpriced for the amenities or lack thereof.

The staff was very nice. There were some plumbing problems with the bathroom sink. There was hair in the sinks, and counters. And there were roaches.

The room was clean and reasonably comfortable but the exterior was very dirty. I did complain to the manager and he stated they had scheduled the exterior to be cleaned months ago. The exterior needs to be cleaned, and power washed-It was disgusting. until it is cleaned I would not stay there and encourage anyone else not to either.

The price of our one night stay was much, much higher than the value. The room smelled of pot. The trash can was full. The sounds of planes flying over kept us from sleeping soundly.

Shower ran a constant leak, not a drip. Cabinets had severe water damage. Roaches. No hangers. One bedside light was out.

Everything was clean but the room we stayed in would need a major paint job and update. It would not take much to convert it into an appealing appearance. Just paint the walls an rip out the nasty carpet. The lady at check in was very friendly, The guy at check out at 7 am should search for a job he likes more. When the room service staff does its best the managers should do as well , as they earn more. Owner and managers you should be ashamed !
