The staff was great. Special thanks to Makeda, Pearl and Anthony at the front desk. Tiffany provided a great breakfast for us every morning, the kitchen and dining area so clean and well stocked. Mike did a great job hosting the reception on Wednesday evening. The lake is beautiful and the surrounding areas are well maintained. We will definitely return. We stayed almost one week and have no complaints.

The staff was attentive and helpful. Our room was modern and clean. Nice TV. We enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was standard free breakfast fare, which was fine. Very convenient to I10. We will stay here again.

Our room smelled like a dog. It turns out the hotel is very dog-friendly. The staff was nice about it and offered for us to change rooms, but we were already unpacked. The air conditioning had some issues.

Outstanding hotel stay!

The room was great, we had a queen bed suite. The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. The biggest down fall was that the pool was dirty. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days, there was stuff all along the bottom and floating in the water, we weren’t able to swim in it at all.

This is the nicest Staybridge I have ever stayed at. The rooms were so gorgeous that it felt like a resort. The property is on a lake. You can sit outside just enjoying the view. But the best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are attentive, considerate, and really helpful.

great atmosphere, great breakfast, good view and rooms are clean, well maintained, perfect use of space and the tiny kitchen was very useful. nice modern appliances and tv, worth the price if anything i’d pay more to stay again, most crap hotels are around the same price so it’s nice to see a fair price for a great stay, great all around. nothing bad to say.

We like the location as there aren’t many places to stay out that way. We hated the cold, hard, cramped feeling of the bedroom. The flooring was dirty and sticky and, because it is laminate, the room was loud. It was challenging to sleep. We got the suite but there was only a small sofa on one side of the huge living area. No other furniture. Nothing about the space made senses. We had a virtually empty room connected to a bedroom with two doubles squeezed into it. We had to close the door to get passed the bed in order to access the bathroom. The vanity area had no door which meant the first guy getting ready for the day essentially wakes up everyone else with the light and their noise.

The hotel is almost in its own park with a small lake/very large pond. The staff are friendly and helpful (and not in a phony way either). I would stay here again.

The minute you check in, they are courteous and helpful. Everyone was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and outside lounges were great. The breakfast was good with many varieties. About a 5minute drive to Publix and other restaurants. Nice location with a lake view. If we didn't live so far, we would come back.

​Easily one of the best parts of the stay was the breakfast setup. It’s a total high-end spread with everything you could want, but the real stars are the fresh waffle makers (nothing beats that smell in the morning!) and a seriously impressive coffee bar. They have multiple syrup flavors on hand, so you can play barista and mix up the perfect latte to kickstart your day.

Arrived at property on Mother's Day, the desk clerk was very nice, sorry I didn't get her name. Checked in and went to the room, that's when the issues began- the room wasn't really cleaned, the trash can was full, a toothbrush on the floor. Back to desk and explained to the clerk, she changed my room- this room was clean. Other issues were the tub needs to be replaced- very dirty looking, room door handles were corroded and need replacing, possibly paint the rooms. The view of the lake was beautiful.

Food was hot and fresh, room was spotless and young lady at the front counter had the best smile and made us feel welcome and valued!

The friendliest service!! The staff here are all so kind and helpful. The property is a in a pretty tucked away spot but still convenient to main roads and restaurants etc. The hotel sits on a small lake and it makes the ambiance very serene. I loved that they had coffee and water available all day. Comfy bed too!! The bathroom could use some slight TLC in the details. Overall loved everything and will be back

This hotel is slightly more expensive than most select-service hotels in the area - and it is worth it. We stopped overnight to break up a long road trip, deciding to spend a little more than normal, based on the great reviews and the mediocre-to-poor reviews for other hotels in the general area. We chose a room with two double beds, and ended up in a clean, comfortable and spacious suite with a full-sized refrigerator (helpful to have a real freezer for our cooler's ice packs). The room was nice and quiet. We didn't use it, but the pool area is pretty and well maintained. What really set this property apart, though, was the extreme friendliness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was smiling and went out of their way to say hello and ask how we were doing. Makeda at the front desk deserves a special shout out. It was late at night when we checked in and she was working a double. The next morning, early, she was just as pleasant and smiley as she had been the night before, sending us on our way with a "Have a blessed day!" Kindness seems to be in short supply these days - it was nice to be reminded how wonderful it can be. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect, the problem was with the management, I booked my room in November 2025 for May 2026 for three nights Friday-Monday. When I did the check in I mentioned I wanted to stay only 2 nights. They said it could not be canceled the last night. The

The breakfast buffet was very good Monday-Friday. On the weekend, there were some issues. Both days, it ran out of coffee and hot food. At one time on Sunday, there was no coffee, creamer & milk, juice, meat, or biscuits. When my wife asked the lady at the front desk about it, she responded by saying "I don't work in that area".

The overuse of scents by housekeeping made the smell in the room so strong it was hard to sleep, and caused us both headaches. This was our second visit with the same issue, so will not be back. Housekeeping visited the room to address the issue, but left it unimproved.

You will quickly learn that this staff is second to none, and the accommodations and are the same. And promise me that you will not leave without enjoying the large, lush area which surrounds the hotel. The property is so gorgeous and serene, in fact, that, had I not resided three states away, I would have begged to have had my wedding there! The “attractions” included a shimmering pond complete with ducks, beautiful walking paths, and gazebos fitted with grills and outdoor seating to enjoy with your family and/or friends. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay there!

Property is very nice. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. There were many guests when we stayed but we were never disturbed by any noise. Only problem was the breakfast. They could not keep the food stocked. The first morning the coffee machine quit working. The breakfast area is very congested as it is not a good layout for so many people. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is by far one of the best hotels in Tallahassee. My family of 7 stayed for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was really good. I must say we saved a lot of money being able to dine in. My husband and 3 sons took advantage of the gym. Unfortunately it rained so we were unable to get in the pool. I think my husband's favorite part was the liquid Dove soap. We forgot to pack our soap from the house and them having the liquid Dove shampoo conditioner and soap in a dispenser in the bathroom made everything so easy and smooth. I love the type of doors that they have when you are walking into the bedroom. It kind of gives like a grand touch. my children absolutely adored it it was a great start to our 10-day vacation. it's also very nice quiet and clean. It's a 10 out of 10 for me

You can tell the person who is in charge of this hotel is proud of it. What a wonderful stay at a regular price.

Checkin was easy, room was bigger than we expected. It had a mini kitchette; sink, microwave, fridge, and small eating area. Pull out sofa was great for our two teenagers to sleep on and the king size bed was excellent. Had considered bringing an air matress in case the sofabed was either two small or uncomfortable. There would have been room to set up one or two, but we didn't need it. Breakfast had a good selection, something for us all, and we all enjoyed it. Would stay here again. It was about 10 miles from the downtown area, but we didn't mind because the ones closer to the city were double the price. I know you can't control this, but we were looking for a room with two queen beds. Not sure if this was an option, and if it was they may have been all booked. TV in room with king size bed was a little small, but that was not a big deal, didn't really use it much.

Our first room was 30, hair everywhere, the pull out couch had crumbs and stains all over the mattress, bathtub that stains and hair all in it. Got another room and it was not any better! Free breakfast was terrible!

This property had an unpleasant smell. Additionally there was no linen for the sofa bed. When requested, they only brought sheets with no blanket. The main tv didn’t work. I informed the front desk, it was not fixed nor was I compensated for the inconvenience. Lastly, the breakfast was horrible! The biscuits were burnt, sausage gravy tasted horrible, they only offered fried eggs, there was no bacon( asked and told it was frozen), sausage was half cooked. I would not recommend this hotel!

I originally requested a first floor room because I'm traveling with a pet, which was confirmed. When I got there they had given me a 3rd floor room, but the lady at the front desk was courteous and gave me the last room they had available on the 1st floor. However, the room smelled terrible and was not very clean. The lady at the front desk had text me to see if I was happy with the room, to which I told her I was not because of the smell in cleanliness, a few minutes later she offered me a replacement room, but it was 2 in the morning and I was exhausted so I just dealt with it. Not really the best experience overall.

Yes, the room was in wonderful shape except for a leak in the vanity sink that would cause any thing laid on the counter to get wet. Also, I wish that the single arm shower nozzle was as easy as mine is at home to turn on the hot water and instead of having to twist one way to get water...but...if you went too far it would get COLD! No logic!!!

I had a great stay here, Makeda on the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was hot and had a good selection. I left an item in my room after I checked out, when I returned the lady on the desk assisted me in getting the item back, nothing was too much trouble. Would stay here again.

The room was clean, except for one drinking glass in the cupboard. Bed was comfortable. We asked for synthetic pillows and Holly had the delivered quickly.

Friendly and easy to deal with

Except for a few minor issues, the overall stay was good. Clean facility, good breakfast, and staff was very courteous and helpful

My room was dirty and outdated. Hair everywhere, shower curtain smelled disgusting, linens were dirty, musty smell in the room and the bed squeaked every time I rolled over, got up or moved at all.

We were in room 300 and found it stop less. Breakfast Sunday morning was great. 5 stars ⭐️

We enjoyed our visit for a one night stay. Room wasnt awful dirty but could have been a little cleaner. Depending on how picky you are. The refrigerator had something spilled in the bottom drawers but no biggie as we weren’t staying long. Beds were comfy and clean, the property was well lit and felt safe. We didn’t use any amenities so I can’t speak on those but the property was very nice and seems to be well taken care of. The front desk staff and other staff on property were so kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Only issue was the dirty bed sheets, and shower. Overall i like the two bedroom 2 bath setup.

This place is clean and spacious with a great staff. The room I had was with a small kitchen with plates and such in case you were staying multiple days. It even sits on a small pond/lake with plenty of seating. All in all a tremendous value!

I had a very enjoyable experience during the six days/nights I was at this property. The manager Alexis was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will certainly stay here again when I venture back to Tallahassee!

This was the best hotel we stayed at on our road trip from Duluth, MN to Orlando, FL. The front desk staff were amazing and the room set up was perfect for my wife and I and our 4 children. If we are in Tallahassee again at some point, this is where we will be staying!

Loved the water view in the back of property.

Bathroom sink and mirror are outside of bathroom which is super inconvenient to me, turning the light on over the sink, brushing your teeth disturbs person in bed, and there is no privacy in that regard.

Alexis was also very friendly as I checked out, and helped me understand the child-proof cooking hob! Clean big room, great view.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. The overall stay was perfect. It was quiet and comfortable.

Staff was amazing. Alexis at the front desk is the happiest and most welcoming person She helped me sign up for the rewards program and bumped me up to a two bedroom suite because she saw we had the two kids and 3 dogs and needed more room. I would live here if I could. Highly recommend.

Everything was okay. Very convenient to interstate. Breakfast ends at 9:30. Make sure you have your drinks before they shut off the machines.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The are was very safe too and had a great complimentary breakfast with hot food.

We have stayed in a few Tallahassee hotels and this is now a favorite. It was clean, the breakfast was yummy, and they had the friendliest staff.

The hotel sits on a lake filled with snakes. You can't walk around to enjoy the beauitful lake without being scared

Even though it’s pet friendly, you can’t tell there are animals in there. Very clean and quiet. Not to mention the beauty of the back of the property. We loved the stay!

My favorite feature of this property is the lake within walking distance. The outdoor patio is gorgeous and we enjoyed the peaceful setting. The staff also went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and his disabilities.

The property is very clean, spacious rooms, beautiful outdoor lake area in the back of the hotel, breakfast was very good, and the staff was very professional and friendly.

This hotel is a great place to stay. Normally, my visit is exceptional. On my recent visit, my only issue was the room was poorly cleaned. The floors were not swept, and I could see trash swept under the couch. With the room having wood flooring, you could see the dust buildup through the suite. Minus the dirty floors, the hotel was great! I will definitely return on my next visit to North Florida.

Nice clean quiet place

I absolutely love this beautiful hotel! The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary buffet breakfast selections were nicely varied (fresh fruit, waffles, ham or sausage, muffins, coffee, etc.). The cleaning staff we met were sweet and considerate. Kitchenette was pre-stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, dish detergent, etc. The view of Summit Lake from our room was lovely and serene. There's a nice outdoor pool and basketball court. The beautiful building itself and the business area around it seem well kept and pleasant (We were there on July 4th weekend, so the businesses were mostly closed). My ONLY complaint was the cleanliness of the room. Hairs in the tub, bathroom sink. The gorgeous dark granite kitchen and bath counter surfaces were unfortunately visibly dirty. We arrived later than we planned. So rather than bother staff and possibly delay our ability to relax and enjoy our room, I proceeded to clean everything myself with cleaning supplies I had brought along on our trip. It took me a 30 minutes or so. After that, everything was pretty perfect. This was a 23rd Wedding Anniversary trip for my hubby and me. We would definitely stay there again, but next time I'd call ahead to make a request for a second sweep of the room by staff prior to our arrival to check for cleanliness.

Wow I was so impressed with my stay at Staybridge. It is on a beauitful lake. I had a lake view, that was breathtaking.

It seemed perfect until I returned late in the evening. The bed was extremely worn out and the springs compressed completely when I sat down. It was really late, or I would probably have asked for a different room. In the morning, I reached for a fresh washcloth and was surprised to find brown specs all over one side. I put it down and got another…it also had brown spots all over one side of it. Since the room was so clean, I presume it was something in the washer, but odd that it was only on one side. The specs resembled a trail. While checking out, I mentioned the mattress and the dirty washcloths. The employee said that they were renovating soon and that the fourth floor would be getting new mattresses next. She said there must have been some residue in the washer that marred the washcloths. Overall, it was better than the average Hilton brand properties we have stayed at recently. May consider trying a different hotel next visit to Tallahassee, but wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again as long as I am in a room with a newer mattress.

Very spacious rooms, great for families, has a nice outdoor seating and indoor seating, good breakfast, and a pretty nice pool with the basketball court. Very relaxing place in a quiet area with no noise of traffic. Have a nice pond with a nice view. If I had to stay here for a long time, it would be a comfortable stay. The rooms were large and the kitchen kitchenette made it convenient.

The property is neat and spacious. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A quiet place with a lovely lake view. Staff are friendly and always to tend to your needs especially Holly.

Beautiful hotel with nice walkable outdoors area

The location is old and in need of remodeling. The restroom tubs were not clean, towels were like sand paper, pull out couch was all metal and could not be slept on. Mattresses were worn. Breakfast was sub par as the eggs were just foam. All staff were great except the overnight male counter person. He was not helpful and had a really bad attitude from me asking him questions about a order I had delivered that no one could locate.

I would stay here again.

This location has potential but, they have some complicating factors from housekeeping that didn’t clean, they didn’t replace towels, they didn’t remove the trash from bins, no toilet paper, no hand soap, no change of sheets or even making the beds and then the breakfast wasn’t very good and the social hour hot food items were cold and gross. The front desk staff was very friendly and when we’d call for toilet paper, or towels, or hand soap it took an eon but they were friendly. Overall, I’d stay again if need be if they got their housekeeping issues managed.

Suite was large and allowed for the early riser (me) to leave the late riser (him) in bed with a closed door between the kitchen/living room so as not to be disturbed. Nice location on the lake. Breakfast was great and not skimpy, plus 2 waffle makers, so less of a wait. More of a full buffet of options. Only suggestion I have is a door (maybe accordian style?) or curtain to block the sink from the bedroom so someone can turn on the light to brush teeth/hair without disturbing the person still sleeping.

I was unable to stay at this location because they did not inform me of their policy requiring a credit card hold of 50 dollars. My mother tried to give them hers over the phone as I am a broke nursing student. They refused to work with me and I slept in a gas station parking lot. This place had no empathy or desire to help. Please be cautious that they have this expectation and they do not care about their guests. They took 120 dollars from us and I didn’t even stay there. Absolutely sickening.

Gorgeous room and building with a beautiful patio overlooking the lake.

Overall, it was a pretty good stay. We never usually have problems at this location ad stay here quite a bit when visiting family.

Tub had hair, faucet dripped all night and there was dust and sticky ring from a drink glass on the nightstand. Ac didn’t work but it was cold outside so room was cool.

This place was great! We were having a rough day and checking in here was simply amazing! The beds were SUPER comfortable and the breakfast was incredible!

Quiet area, clean room, close to I 10.

Outdated, not quite how it looks in the photos but had what we needed for an overnight stop on a long distance trip. Crib was not very comfortbale for the little one so baby didn’t sleep well, but at least they have them. Dog friendly and reasonably priced for one night stay.

This was hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Every single person I met that worked here was kind, helpful, and courteous. The rooms were clean. The scenery and amenities were fantastic. Check in and check out were a breeze. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I can't even come up with one negative comment. My stay was literally perfect.

Beautiful lake outside the building.

A good detail cleaning would help, wiping table top better and the sink was not great. Little mud chunks on the floors and corners were nasty. Yes I am very picky but for the price it should be better. Furniture worn.

Clean and perfect spot to stop on our way to southern Florida.

The Subday breakfast was not a great selection. When asked about the meat, i was told by management that it's been that way for years the weekly menu. The bits and pueces of meat was only shown in the gravy. Everyone does not eat gravy and biscuits (high carbs) for breakfast. There were no meats such as turkey, sausage, etc... i was disappointed due to the price of the hotel nightly price during the FAMU Homecoming weekend.
