Loved the full kitchen and complimentary airport shuttle. Also breakfast was really good! A lot of variety for both cold and hot breakfast. Pool looked nice but didn't get a chance to enjoy.

I chose this hotel for the location and it did not disappoint! Central location, can walk to nearby events, restaurants and right across the street is the civic center. Our room was so nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be booking for future Tallahassee trips!

Hotel.com let me down with guarantee to cancel up to arrival time or resolve my inability to document cancellation after multiple attempts. I talked directly with hotel and cancelled reservation and hotel.com kept insisting they could not get this verified with hotel. Hotel managers indicate stay was cancelled early in morning and no charges were posted so I should not have been charged for two days. This makes me not want to consider Hotel.com in future. Hopefully someone can be respectful and call me to correct this error (or possibly deliberate problem).

This is probably the best hotel. You can stay at close to the Florida State University campus. Good parking easy access good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff.

Spacious modern suite with large refrigerator, microwave, huge TV, work area, good free internet, limited but adequate fitness center - all very clean and functioning. When I arrived at airport, I called hotel and a free van was sent within 15 minutes to pick me up; leaving the same in reverse for 15-minute drive to airport. So I was able to avoid renting a car, as my conference site (Business School at FSU) was visible out my window, so I could walk. (Staff even offered - unprompted - to drive me to my meeting.) The hotel is essentially on the campus of FSU - that's both a plus and the only minus for me, as one night a student drove around 1:00am-1:30am with boombox blaring. That is not the hotel's fault. But a traveler might want to request a room on higher floor and not facing the street. Immediate area restaurants cater to student clientele, so may need to drive or Uber to upscale dining. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was surprised by getting full breakfast (no extra cost) instead of barebones continental: eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, dry cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. I would have preferred toning down the music in the common areas - a fault noted by other reviewers as well. In nearly all areas, the Residence Inn exceeded my expectations.

Ive been wanting to stay at this RI in Tally but it’s usually booked. I can see why. Amazing location and very clean. Great staff and a step above breakfast. Ive been to way to many complimentary breakfasts in my travel. Top 3. This was a mix work/leisure trip and having the room types RI provide always allows that balance.

Our room was quiet, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable. It looks like most of the hotel and rooms have been fairly recently renovated with the exception of the shower/ toilet area. Once these areas are renovated to be on par with the rest of the room, it will be the perfect stay!

My room was very clean. The receptionist was very helpful. The location was great for my daughter’s college tour. The included breakfast options was a wonderful bonus. The elevators seemed to be in need of repair. The hallway carpeting could use a refresh.

My only complaint was we checked in late in the evening with a reservation and the room we were givien was facing the street. Loud music is played until 10pm which the front desk told us when we tried to change rooms. We also heard loud street noise until 3 am. we have stayed at this hotel several times without having a room facing the street. My suggestion is check in early. We also paid the same price as we would have if we werent facing the street.

Great location, walking distance to College Town and likely to campus if you're there for a long enough time to get comfortable.

Noisy as hell. There was a side walk concert right below our room that we were not told about when we checked in. Also cars raced outside our window all night. Don't stay there if you want to sleep.

The hotel is located just next to the basket ball stadium in the middle of town. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The background music in the common areas (reception, work area, breakfast room and the gym) is much too loud. Having to raise your voice to be able to speak to the person next to you is simply annoying and I do not see the why the music has to be so loud. According to the staff they cannot adjust the volume as this a ”corporate” decision. Pretty sure everybody would feel more comfortable in a less noisy environment. Background music in itself is good, but the volume needs to adjust to people without hearing problems.

I booked a room with a pull out sofa but when we got to the room we found a regular sofa that had dirt and crumbs under the cushions. The staff were able to switch us to another room with a pull out sofa but the noise from the sports cars in the streets was an all nigh menace ( which is beyond the hotel’s control) but just as a fyi the walls are not noise proof. The breakfast ladies were lovely. The hot tub and pool were also a little dirty.

The hotel is very well located in the heart of Collegetown, and its facilities are in line with the price and what the hotel chain it belongs to generally offers. I didn't appreciate the lengthy check-in process, which didn't include any explanation of the services included in the package or the $35 parking fee, especially during a low-occupancy period like the weekend I stayed.

Just an FYI, the airport shuttle is NOT 24-hrs it runs from 8am to 10pm, so if you have an early flight like i did you will have to catch an uber/taxi. Also there is no staircase that leads to the lobby, if you want to take the stairs all stairwells lead to outside of the building (scary). Otherwise hotel stay was very comfortable, cozy and clean! Nice area with lots of food options. Friendly staff as well. Definitely worth the money.

This property itself is nice and in a great location. Room was clean. The front staff however were rude and lied to try to keep some jewelry left behind in a room. They were curt and acted inconvenienced all while doing a bad job. First they sent us to a dirty room when we checked in 5:30 pm. They switched rooms, no problem. Then when we left jewelry behind they said they couldn’t find it. We went back to look ourselves and they had it in custody. Manager was very nice and professional when she was engaged but would be cautious with this stay.

The place itself was very nice and clean. Front desk was friendly. Now for something I consider to be a biggie, the breakfast was completely cold. The scrambled eggs sausage everything was cold. There was no fresh fruit and I had to ask them to make more coffee an hour before service was over. The food was at a temperature that I feel was unsafe for eating because of how long it sat there cold. And the people taking care of that area were not the friendliest. They also have a very poor selection of cold cereal in case you bring your kids.

Expedia sold me a room that was not available. However, the front desk staff was most accommodating and upgraded me to a wonderful room. Many kudos to the front desk staff (I wish I had gotten their names) and Eugene, who cleaned my room. They were kind, pleasant and did an outstanding job!!

The last stay was when the students were out. The amount of noise on Gaines Street late at night and early morning is crazy unbelievable.

Very convenient with the kitchen (not very well equipped for cooking) . Half a block away of the Publix and 2 block away of the colorful railroad district. Gym is not the best. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had a lot of options but nothing special. Just basic. The space of the room is great and overall I will stay again.

Our room felt a little dated, there was also only one smallish mirror at the sink. Not a great shower set up and not enough towel bars. There was some confusing curtains for construction that kept appearing and disappearing which made it hard to get places. Overall really was a great stay but there was room for improvement.

The room was nice but we were directly across the street from an outdoor bar with a live band playing late into the night. Also, the front desk clerk was too busy texting to check us in and was visibly bothered to have to do her job.

If you unlucky like me and get a room on the Railroad Ave side , you will not get any sleep , unless you can sleep through anything. It’s an extremely busy intersection in a 4 way stop light where cars and motorcycles accelerate to go uphill, very very loud . We spent 2 nights there and I got barely any sleep. Maybe after 2am it gets better but not much . Not the hotel’ fault but they should invest in soundproofing at least on these side of the building. Ask for a room looking over the pool! Otherwise the location is great . Rooms are dated but clean . Staff friendly.

Hotel is very nice. I was very impressed with my room. I was even able to enjoy the live band across the street from my room. Breakfast was good and the 2 ladies working the kitchen were so very nice. I would definitely stay again.

The room was clean on the third floor with a parking lot view with city streets beyond. I slept with the window open and it was silent beyond the occasional hum of an engine. Beautiful sunny and warm morning. Breakfast was amazing but a little crowded as I slept in. The bed was too comfy not to. We left our room at 11 on the dot and I received an email with a receipt of $30 parking charges (no one mentioned this but not a big deal to me) as well as $4 beverage. I assume from the water bottles on the counter we drank. Overall a good stay and would do it again!!!

Clean and in a good location. The room was sandwiched between the dining area and a nearby traffic light, thereby making extremely noise late into the night and very early in the morning. Very hard to get sleep there.

Check in process was good. Hotel is clean and quiet. Good location. Adequate parking. The rooms that we were given were NOT as advertised on Hotels.com or my reservation confirmation email. I discussed this issue with both the hotel manager and Hotels.com agents the same day we checked in. Nice hotel but false advertising by Hotels.com.

Only stayed one night. Great location that is close to the university and around multiple spots for food and gas. Bed and room were comfortable and staff were friendly. Only complaint I have for the whole stay is parking was a little expensive in my opinion ($30usd a night).

The location is excellent for walking to FSU. The free breakfast was amazing and the staff that work the breakfast were excellent! However, there is a $30/day parking fee. We were asked on check in if we were parking on site and they gave is a car tag BUT they never told us about a fee. I only realized after we received an email with charges. Also we called for an extra comforter for our sofa bed and they insisted that all they could provide was a light blanket. The service was disappointing.

Wonderful hotel experience. Very clean, large rooms, location was perfect for our FSU weekend with old college friends. Great breakfast & lived the afternoon reception!

It was obvious that the halls and elevators were not cleaned regularly. The room was nice and clean. Traffic was loud.

A very friendly environment. I accidentally booked the wrong room and the manager was very kind to upgrade us to the room we requested. I will return because of the great customer service.

Nowhere did it say there would be a $30 plus tax fee for parking for one night. I could have easily parked at my daughter's apartment about one block away for free. I think a that type of fee should be disclosed up front at the time of booking.

Room was clean and space!

Asked for bedding for the pull out mattress and pillows. They took almost 30 minutes to 1 hour to bring them to us. They did not have pillows. Will never stay there again.
