The room was clean, the staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast had a good amount of options but the hot foods left something to be desired.

Staff was absolutely amazing but the beds was like being in a jail cell my room A/C was not working properly. It was extremely hot and the only other thing was we wasn’t told about breakfast times so we missed out on it!!!

We stopped at this motel on our trip from Paducah, Kentucky to Port Carnaveral, Florida. Having traveled 12 hours in one day, we were exhausted, and only wanted to get some rest before resuming our journey. This motel is more than adequate for traveling on a budget. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The proximity to I-10 makes this motel even better, as it was easy to find once we left the interstate. I recommend this motel.

Property stated all cleaning staff had called out. New computer system supposedly made check in take forever. I did not get the room I had booked. Sofa bed was terrible!!!!

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good with a. Aridity of options including make your own waffle. I would definitely stop there again if the situation arose.

The hotel was average at best. Biggest shock was the $100 pet fee. Have never had that presented to me before. Hotels.com was nice to credit back some of this but if you are traveling with pets, beware.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay while there for FSU graduation. Ava was wonderful, personable and very helpful and made our stay there very pleasant!

Everything was good the elevator was down but it wasnt to bad 3 flights. Also the only thing i would complain about is the front drsk being literally by the front door

The floors and carpeting were filthy! Apparently seldom vacuumed, and evidently never steam-cleaned.

Bed uncomfortable, we ended up with back pain.

Staff was very freindly and helpful. Even went back and got me coffee after the breakfast had closed at 9:00am. So appreciated the extra effort here.... Elevator was broken, so had to unload and enter our room from the far end of the hotel and use the stairs. The key pad at this end of the building was inoperable so we had to walk back around to the front. Second time entering the room the key pad at the room wouldn't recognize my key. No coffee available after 9:00am breakfast closed. should have some in the lobby available always.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of tasty home style items to choose from. Staff preparing and serving breakfast was very friendly and helpful. The physical facility is in badly need of refurbishing. Elevators were not working. The housekeepers tried their best to make the hotel room as clean as possible they could only do so much to make it presentable.

They have a ridiculous policy that they do not clean your room without a request if you stay less than three nights, which they did not tell us. Our room smelled musty, and the wheelchair accessible bathroom was gross. Overall, hotel cleanliness was okay. Breakfast was pretty good.

I arrived super early unexpectedly and staff was truly amazing (thank you Ryan)! I was exhausted and asked for early check in thinking I wasn’t going to be able to check in THAT early, but I was accommodated very quickly and professionally- I was extremely grateful! Room was quiet and super clean. I have zero complaints. My daughter just moved into her FSU dorm yesterday so I know I’ll be back to Tallahassee in the future and I’ll be staying at this Hotel on future visits always.

The breakfast was better than most hotels offered - this is one of the reasons why we've switched to Fairfield Inns when we travel ... they all seem to have better quality beds & offer more for breakfast - including fresh fruit.

It was short stay on Christmas Eve . But Christmas Morning we had breakfast and the staff was wonderful. The Staff offered us homemade fried chicken. kept checking to see if we need anything else. The Coffee was great and the Check in and checkout was fast easy and had Great Service.

We stopped here for the night on our drive to Disney. We arrived around 10 and our rooms AC had a flashing light that looked like a strobe light. We requested a room change and was told our only other option was a king bed with sofa sleeper. Reluctantly we agreed to take it since we purposefully booked a 2 bed room to appropriately accommodate our families sleeping arrangements. The sofa sleeper was barely big enough for one person. The next morning we woke up to leave to find the toilet overflowing. There was nothing clogging the toilet. It was just water in it. I called downstairs to notify them and was told “my relief is about to be here. I can bring you a plunger when they get here.” I responded that’s fine, but the toilet isn’t stopped up and you’re going to need more than that especially by then since it’s covering the bathroom floor. When I got out of the phone I threw down towels to soak up the water and my husband shut the water valve off. By this time the water was coming on to the carpet. I went to get more towels from downstairs and was provided extras. And was told they’d be up after they were done reporting off. Even though at this point I had explained it was going onto the carpet. We ended up needing more towels so my husband went down to get more and asked for a plunger when he was told “your wife refused one.” I never refused the plunger. I simply stated that it would take more than a plunger to fix what was happening- at this point the room was flooding.

Loud noises coming from the room above because of someone watching TV all night. My wife only got two hours of sleep. I mentioned it to the hotel staff. They did not do anything Don't pay more then $--- per night. Not worth more.

The entire property is under construction which would be fine if their rate wasn’t the same and they were clear about that while booking. There wasn’t one amenity available. The staff was rude and it wasn’t much beyond a place to sleep. No where is it listed this was going on. All though it does list every amenity available that isn’t.

It’s mostly all the renovations. Even dining area was too small during the peak breakfast hours. Interior of room could be more appealing esp for a Marriot. Not sure if it is included in the renovations. One front desk staff upon check in could have been a little nicer. Breakfast staff was nice and friendly.

Not that it’s an issue, but it would have been nice to know that they are under reconstruction. We are only here for 1 night, so it’s not a big deal. They still have the breakfast we are looking for. Rooms are clean, and newly decorated.

The staff and the rooms were perfect. The staff was very attentive and that includes the staff woman in charge of breakfast. She was constantly moving around to check on amount of food on the buffet as well as checking with each person eating breakfast about if they needed something or were they ready for her to take a finished plate away. I have found most breakfast motel staffers attentive to the buffet. Fairfield’s staffer was the only one to go beyond filling the buffet. Front desk staff, excellent. I will stay at Fairfield again.

The hotel and rooms had a awful smell. When we told management they said it was because of the construction. But it smelled like mold . When I said I wanted a room with a key she said they were completely booked. Then clarified that they had a king room but I would have to pay the difference. I told her there was no difference, they were the sane price and it wasn’t my fault the lock was broken. She then said she couldn’t upgrade me under any circumstance even if I paid more since I booked through a 3rd party. She said why did I have to be so particular about the room having a key. She then checked in 2 other people. I tried to call the manager but it rang at the front desk, I tried to get into your hotels.com but it was doing 2 factor identification so I couldn’t get in. So I booked a king room and figured we could work it out because it’s midnight at this point. Then she can’t find that reservation even though I’m showing her the reservation. This prompts her to call the manager and he quickly told her to upgrade the room. All that took about 30 minutes. We are now in a room but wanted to explain what happened. I felt like I must be on hidden camera or something. Who gets a room without a key?

Always like to stay here when visiting family in Tallahassee, FL. Staff very pleasant. Will continue to stay here a few times a year. Breakfast is nice too as an amenity.

The place was good. Customer service was great. The only problem I had was their pet fee. $75 for just 1 night is totally outrageous. I’m used to travel with my pet every where I go and I’ve never paid more than $30. When traveling with my pet companion we won’t stay at a Fairfield again

All staff we interacted with were very friendly. Property and rooms were very clean; bed was comfortable. We were in town for FSU parents weekend, so I’m sure the property was most likely sold out. Even with a lot of people staying there, it was quiet.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast

The room had a horrible smell. The rug was old and dirty. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was regular, there was cereal but no milk.

Clean, quiet very good breakfast. Check in person was very helpful and checked us in quickly. He came to room 2 times to get our tv working. Nice guy.

Negative: Expedia does not allow payment for pets when making the reservation/payment; nor identify the cost ($75)
