Very noisy AC. Could not able to sleep at all. This is one of the worst hotel experience. It is impossible to sleep with that noise.

The staff was warm and welcoming. Because from us not getting the services we pay for, everything and everything was excellent. My previous booking stated that breakfast and parking were included, upon checking in the receptionist told me that that I have to pay for parking. The next morning I took my daughter for breakfast someone at the kitchen told me in front of my 11-year-old that I have to pay the initial my daughter was the one that choose this hotel since it has a pool , breakfast, and parking included. Then they told us it's a new owner. We didn't get what your website advertises and they said it's false information I got because I booked through a third party party. In which I do not buy it, you guys have never failed me.

The road noise it was so bad that I barely slept. And I sleep with earplugs! My Apple Watch clocked it at 60 dB at points. That’s insane for a hotel room. I wish I had known before I checked in late at night. I would’ve stayed somewhere else so I could get some rest before my early morning and full day of work. Front desk and breakfast area staff were very friendly and helpful.

Awesome staff and excellent location. Walls are a little thin, so if noise levels are a concern, I would recommend taking this into account. Parking was easy and conveniently located, which was a bonus.

This hotel is very noisy. The downtown location is convenient but the road noise is extreme and the rooms are not well insulated from each other.

You can hear everything from rooms next to you. No soundproofing

Just a comment: the sound of the air conditioner is loud.

Walls are paper thin and you hear EVERYTHING. The A/C unit is also extremely loud that you cannot even hear the tv at normal volume over it. The mattress is very firm, no pillowtop for sure. Was only there for one night, would probably look elsewhere next time in town.

Had to move rooms because my room floor had water coming up from flooring. The carpet was soaked just outside of the door. Caused it to be slippery in room.

Parking was easy, though it was a bit higher than I expected.

This was the noisiest motel ever. Was on the seventh floor and the cars sounded like they were in the room. Could hear the room next door's tv loud enough to wake us in the morning. Would not stay there again.

Stayed here for a business trip. The location was perfect, the rooms were clean with nice views. Hotel provides transportation within a a few miles of the hotel and provided my colleague and I rides to our business meeting each day we were there, which was awesome! Staff is very friendly and helpful and they have an on-site cafe which is very convenient. Highly recommended!

Now that we have visited Tallahassee, it seems there aren’t too many solid choices for hotels but Aloft was great, plenty of parking next to the hotel (two lots). Building is modern and has everything you need Easy short drive to FSU

Affordable in a pinch and decent rooms

The location is both a plus and not a plus. It is in the center of downtown Tallahassee, so convenient for many purposes. However, because it is downtown, it is noisy from traffic and a nearby fire station. Parking is limited and an extra charge. If you wish to call the property and speak to someone on site, good luck! I tried to do this and was unsuccessful. Very frustrating. I reserved the room for two out-of-town family members, and they liked their room and comfortable beds. But they did comment on the noisy location. Stated above.

Very clean room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Well lit with lots of space. All wood, no carpets which is cleaner and brighter. The shower was fantastic. Very modern, but comfortable environment. The hotel has energy and a positive vibe felt upon arrival.

The property was fantastic and so was most of the staff. Unfortunately, the gentleman that checked us in last night was in a horrible mood, set a very bad vibe. Fortunately, the four or five individuals that we encountered this morning on staff were amazing.

Best location in Tallahassee in my opinion--close to FSU, Capitol, Downtown--walkable to many restaurants. If I had to reach for a complaint, there was a bit of street noise but it didn't prevent me from sleep. Thanks for a nice stay!

Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. However, this is the noisiest place I have ever stayed. The walls seem to be made of paper. I could hear the people on one side of my room talking all night. The people in the room on the other side could be heard opening/closing their blinds.

We stayed on the 3rd floor street side, very noisy, last time was given an option for city side not this time. Stopped by the bar for a lite snack, took 30 minutes to get chicken fingers and fries, that's a little excessive but i still like the place and will probably stay again it is very convenient to that are of Tallahassee.

I didn't like the fact that dogs were everywhere jumping on us in the elevator. I love dogs, but not someone else's dog jumping on us and not controlled by the owners. The dog didn't smell freshly groomed at all. Hence, the reason for cleanliness rating.The rule should change to make sure it doesn't happens.

This is probably one of the only and best hotels downtown in Tallahassee near where we needed to stay. It was fine but very basic. The room was tiny and arranged a little bit strangely. It has an odd sliding door for the toilet and shower area that won't stay shut and the AC is very loud. Generally a fan of this chain, and I love that they are let friendly. I've stayed at this property multiple times over the years, but was disappointed in the maintenance this time around. The mirrored door between the sink area and wet room was cracked in two different spots, the bathroom ceiling ventilation fan did not work at all and one of the roll down blinds in the bed area didn't come down all the way and let in lots of light in the morning.

The staff was super friendly. The ice water was appreciated as well as the in room Chamomile tea. Bed was extremely comfortable, soft sheets and awesome pillows.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is great and offers a lounge setting in the lobby that made the perfect hang out. Plus the 24/7 mini Starbucks and grab and go snacks!

The downstairs was excellent. Bar, pool tables, polite staff. First we were told that they only had a room The room was not up to my standards. All we heard all night were loud engines for cars. Bathroom light. No lights above the bed. 1 light turned every light on. And 1 hub for charging was all the way across the room. I’d never stay here again. Maybe to visit. Not stay.

The hotel itself was great, but the location ruined this trip for me. The rooms face a very busy street with no type of barrier and it was very loud until 3-4 in the morning each night. If you’re a heavy sleeper than there’s no issues, but for me I got very little sleep the entire stay. Additionally there is a large church that plays an organ on speakers outside, so after not falling asleep until 4am at 8am on Sunday I was woken up to this which went on for about an hour before I packed up and checked out early to get away from it.

We were there for one night to take the kids on a college tour of FSU. Didn’t stay long but the facility was great and would stay again. Parking was easy and affordable as well

Housekeeper was so nice and accommodating! Bartender made an incredible margarita! Room was nice, although a couple of cracks in bathroom mirror- it was very comfortable! Hotel is super dog-friendly which is awesome! Overall- wonderful!

Staff didn’t tell us where anything was located at check in or where to park. Oh my gosh, the noise! Loud cars, trucks, motorcycles, and stereos all night despite being on the 6th floor. Terrible noise. At almost midnight on our second night there, housekeeping calls and knocks on the door waking all of us up (and the room across the hall) asking if we requested blankets. Neither us, nor the people across the hall ordered blankets. To top it off, there was nobody at the front desk to complain to. Wouldn’t stay again.

I appreciated that we could get a good coffee in the morning and that dogs were welcome.

The staff was friendly and polite. The hotel is kept pretty well. The room was clean except the toilet- it sure if they just forgot. Good thing I always bring Lysol wipes. The AC in room 413 was very loud and kept me up on the first night almost for 4 hours until the noise settled down some and I was able to get rest. I brought this to the attention of the staff and they said they would follow up with management in reference to the AC and cleanliness of toilet. I also filled the complaint with Marriott on line and they as well have not followed up.

I expected more for the price that I paid. The hotel wasn’t insulated well. It was either hot or cold, and the hotel room was smaller than I expected. Overall it was an okay stay. The hotel just didn’t WOW me!!

We checked in on the evening of Oct 18. Our room was located on the 5th floor on the far end of the hall. All night we heard vehicles speed by with loud music, loud exhaust and finally the air conditioning came on and rattled the entire evening off on.

A very nice, modern Aloft. The eatery staff was amazing, the food selection, though an additional cost was worth the fair prices. Completely out of the hotels control, you should expect sirens and loud cars throughout the college town. Everything else was great and made that a small detail.

Very nice hotel, the staff was excellent as well as the rooms. It is also a dog friendly hotel, which is very good as I often travel with my dog. There were renovations under way.

Didn’t know it was being renovated when we booked. Normally it’s great, but this particular stay was inconvenient and sometimes noisy. Water was shut off in hotel before going out for the evening and trying to get ready. Elevators were especially slow due to construction crews using them also. There was banging noise while trying to rest and nap. I’m sure it will be good again once it’s done.

The last night there was an alarm that kept going off on our floor every 20 mins and nobody slept all night. It was terrible.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately my room was very noisy. From the loud road racing right outside my window late at night, police and emergency vehicles, and later my neighbors who shared the adjacent door and kept their TV on until late into the night I found it incredibly difficult to sleep. Even a comfortable bed can't help when the room is too noisy :(. This location is also going through construction so parking is limited an the lobby is a bit of a mess. That being said, I'm sure it will be beautiful once the work is done.
