    Nothing Hotel looked out dated, looked like a run down motel. AC unit I'm the room was extremely loud with rattling noise within the unit, exterior of refrigerator was rusted all over top section, mildew was all over the windows, outside landscaping was un-kept, we did not stay there the 2nd night(we checked out first thing in the morning after out first night there, would not recommend this hotel to anyone..

    The staff was not attentive, only one ice machine and it was broke at the time (but in the process of being fixed, and the room smelt like a burnt hair dryer….stayed as it non refundable through Expedia and it was only a place to stay one night. Sheets were the cleanest things so that was a plus.

    The receptionist wasn't friendly or attentive. The hotel lacks basic maintenance and cleaning. The floors and particularly the carpets were filthy and stained. Repairs to damaged walls and doors were shoddy. The elevator certificate was over a year out of date. The lamp bases in my room were disgustingly dirty. The breakfast was adequate and check out was quick and easy. Stay away from this hotel! It's not worth saving a few bucks.

    Very disappointing experience. I checked in Saturday night and found roaches in the room. After reporting it to the front desk, I was moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was even worse and had more roaches. I have multiple videos and photos showing several roaches at the same time, including small ones. Definitely not acceptable hotel conditions.

    The room was very dirty, with the bathroom, carpets and floors not cleaned. The bathroom was a wheelchair access bathroom (which I did not need or request when booking the stay). The ADA bench in the shower was not secured and falling off the wall. The grout was black with mildew or microbial growth and toilet needed to be cleaned before using. The room had suffered water damage at some point because the walls were poorly repaired in various spots and the cabinetry (desk, TV stand and Fridge enclosure) were water damaged and swollen with growth visible on and around the damage. The bed seemed to be clean, but I was unable to determine. The room had a musky damp smell to it as well. I know for a fact that I will not be staying at this location at any time moving forward with my trips to Sunrise Fl On the other hand, Hotels.com was amazing. The ease of using the website was great and the notifications up to check in were great as well. I will use Hotels.com again and refer to my friends and business associates.

    The one-day stay was excellent. The room was spotless and well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, iron, blow dryer, television, and more. Parking and Wi Fi were complimentary. The front desk staff delivered outstanding professionalism, and both check in and check out were smooth and efficient. The only minor issue was the thin blankets; I hope the room was equipped with thicker blankets. Nonetheless, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. Great stay.

    The interior of the building was poor. The photos online do not accurately reflect the current state of the hotel. It was very misleading and if I knew what it really looked like, I would've chosen other accommodations. The elevator floor and hallway floors were sticky everyday during my stay, the elevator itself was super slow, and the staff were hard to find when/if needed.

    Location was excellent, that is about the only positive thing about this place. I had check in and payed before our arrival, just needed to pick up the keys when I arrive. Well then we were told we needed to leave a $ 100.00 deposit which they will give back when we check out. I handed my credit card and it was declined, which was strange because I had just use it that morning. My husband handed a different card, he had just payed for gas an hour earlier, and it was also declined. Finally they run my card again and it went through, so the problem was their system not our card. We started going to our room and there was an overwhelming smell of cleaning solution, so strong it gave me a headache, I felt bad for the cleaning staff breathing that all day. We arrived to the 3rd floor and started going to our room and noticed the carpets were so dirty it was disgusting, there was mold on the walls and still the same smell as in the first floor. The bathrooms need upgrade, the bathtub looked dirty. Overall it was so dirty I was wondering if the sheets were clean or not. I was not able to rest. The internet was slow. In the morning we went to have breakfast, not a great variety of choices, but OK. My husband started to cut his waffle and the table was so wobbly that the apple juice spilled and got as wet. Looked like it happened before since the floor was so sticky. Definitely we were very disappointed, after traveling all day we were hopping to get some rest and were not be able to do so. I do not mind to pay the $175.00 we paid for 1 night but definitely expect a better place if not upgraded, at least clean. Sorry to say but this has been the worse place we have stayed.

    Well, at least the air conditioning worked. The room was very dark — no light overhead as you enter. The room was dirty— the chair, the carpet (wet), towels threadbare. Check-in was a person televised through a kiosk. No place to plug in a phone or electronics. Very surprised… have stayed at LaQuintas before but this one needs a total renovation. It’s in a business park and near a major arena — you’d think they would want to renovate. Also left a nice jacket and have been calling for a week, no one answers and it disconnects. No reply to emails either. Hotel.com should check this out before recommending.

    NA No bugs in my room (211) would have been nice. No cable TV, when I called the desk I was told they were working on it. Never got it. Walking the room in grey socks had my feet filthy in 10 minutes, telling me that the room had not had a good cleaning in awhile

    There are NO EMPLOYEES at this hotel. Check in / out is a KIOSK ... no employees to help elderly people. I had to help a older man operate the KIOSK, help him get his luggage and his wife from vehicle .. she was in a wheelchair.... another man had NO TV in the room, lady on the KIOSK said SORRY I can not help you !! in the morning, 8:50 am 2 men were removing the food for breakfast.... I asked why he was in a rush.. he looked at me grabbed the food and toasters and walked away..... the elevator had garbage on the floor, my room... toilet paper holder was laying on the bathtub, took pictures as soon as I walked in. The room next door I videoed the LOUD MUSIC and all the banging around, like they were tearing the place up. Very disappointed... customer service.. NONE

    Room was clean and roomy. Breakfast was free and offered enough choices to start your day. The location served our purpose since we were going to a concert that evening. If I was there longer we would have checked out their huge mall Sunrise is known for. I didn't like the check in process due to the impersonal feel. You walk up to a monitor and they talk to you through the screen. Very impersonal.

    The property is in terrible condition. We stayed here a year ago, and it was much better then. The bathtub was dirty—full of mold and poorly cleaned—and there was old, caked-on grime everywhere. The walls in the hallways and bathrooms were filthy, and the maintenance staff was shouting in the hallways. The overall quality is very poor.

    Room was damp, the bed sheets and blankets were still wet. The carpet in the room was also wet like they just did a carpet cleaning but didn’t let it dry all the way. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was hanging out the wall with holes in the walls. The only good thing about the hotel room was the ac blowing ice cold.

    Absolutely nothing Where do I start from being over charged given a dirty room , with dirty bedding ,roaches running around ripped and unkept furniture from back board being ripped and ripped up uncovered sofa.     The TV didn't work, and they knew that when we checked in. They said it was a cable problem. I told them they were charging a lot of money for a room with no TV. I usually sit up all night to watch TV while my wife sleeps. "Sorry, sir." I will never stay again at La Quinta.

    Most disgusting room I’ve ever been in. Dry Blood and makeup marks on the blankets and pillows then I’m told I can’t have a different blanket since it’s one per bed and no one works here at night so your talking to a kiosk with someone on a video call. The couch had stains all over it and the pillows were yellowish color. Black mold in the bathroom and the entire room smells like mildew. AC filter had an inch of dust on it and stunk. I only slept for 3 hours, the smell in the pillows is nasty and I woke up itchy with bumps and congested. My buddy even said the same thing he felt like he couldn’t breathe in the morning. The only good about this place is the location, close to the highway and Starbucks next door because after seeing inside you wouldn’t want to eat or drink anything in that building. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. Expedia and all other travel sites need to take this place down. I never had bedbugs but I wouldn’t expect anything less if that’s why I was itchy the next morning and I slept fully covered up in clothes since every layer of sheet and blanket was disgusting it’s too can see in the pictures

    Do NOT waste your money. Toilet wouldn't flush, no hot water, shower fixture fell off, sink doesn't turn off, light switch didn't work, very dark, heater smelled like burning, elevator barely worked, not even a live front desk person. A kiosk with person from India, could hardly understand and more. And the smell in hallways, disgusting!!

    I do not have the words. Check in process was all virtual, no customer service or attendants to help, roaches, sticky floors, more roaches, elevator has not been serviced in 3 years, it made a horrible noise and was sketchy, we took the stairs which was hard on my 70 year old mother in law, more roaches, dirty towels, dirty room, dirty hallways, fountain out front doesn’t work, room was not as advertised, we expected two queen beds and two TVs, we got two full size beds and one TV. I’ll be filing complaints.

    The hotel charged me close to $300 for a night stay, but was so dirty I could not bring my self to take a shower in there. The carpet in the room looked nasty and wet. The room felt moist. The fridge looked like something they picked up on the side of the road. This is no different than a Motel 6.

    Stayed in a suite for 5. No bedding or pillows for the one bed. Check in along with concerns can only be done via a screen with an agent off site. Requested bedding at 9:45pm through the digital agent who said that someone would come bring bedding in 10 minutes No bedding came and we had to use the 3 towels that were in our room for 5 ppl as blankets. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Hallway floors were so dirty our sandles stuck as we walked.

    This was the worst hotel stay of my entire life. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! From roaches crawling on the walls, filthy stained bedding and towels, toenails on the floor, hair everywhere, stained chairs and couches that looked like rejects from an adult film set, to the computerized staff (computer screen that you talk to and interact with to check in and for any other needs) that had no empathy and offered no help at all. Concerns were raised to the hotel staff, and all they said were they were overbooked. Once again DO NOT STAY HERE.!!!!!!

    If you need a place to sleep and use a restroom, then this will work. I hate leaving bad reviews, and perhaps they can make some changes. But for now… Dirt on the bedding. Mold. Chewed gum on the bedroom floor. The pool water is very very low. No staff in the lobby. They have lots of posters and recordings, reassuring visitors that staff is always on hand to meet our needs. There was someone available to talk to on a monitor. He was very kind and helpful. When I asked him if we could have a blanket, he had me check a cupboard first. There were no blankets there, so he said it might take a while, but he would have someone bring one to our room. An hour later I went down, and he said, “oh! I talked to my manager. He said since there are already two blankets out, you’ll have to come back in the morning.“

    A man was at the check-in kiosk complaining about bed bugs in his room. We checked the beds and the room and saw nothing. We were travelling in a party of eight in four rooms. One of the couples found a cockroach in their room and took a photo of it and told the person "in" the computer kiosk and they told them there was nothing they can do. Also, I'm sure not having someone at the front desk, EVER and using a kiosk to check in with someone in some far away place is the way hotels are going, but there needs to be a human hotel representative there in person. One woman was complaining to the rep at the computer kiosk that they needed help because they paid for late checkout and they were told they needed to speak with someone at the hotel. THERE'S NOBODY AT THE FRONT DESK, WHO WAS SHE TO SPEAK TO? The place was being cleaned well, so I have to give the room attendants credit, but this hotel needs maintained. Broken overhead lights, cracked lampshades, vomit stains on floor, toilets missing lids. The breakfast was another story, not enough seating for the amount of hotel rooms. Runny waffle mix, making a mess when pouring. The elevator is out of inspection. This property needs to be evaluated for many items that need fixed. The pool was nice, so we literally were hanging out there all day. Came home and had to leave our luggage outside for fear of taking bugs home. La Quintas have always been our #1 choice, but this one does not live up to their standards.

    First, they have check in with someone on camera inside of this kiosk. Then, you don’t see any physical staff on the premises until the next day. When I saw a manager during breakfast, I informed him that my wife had many bed bug bites all over her body. He asked me if I had reported it to the kiosk? Yes he said kiosk. I said that I was waiting until I saw a real person. He asked me if I was Staying another night? I said no, that we were about to check out. He said, that’s too bad, and added that he would comp the next night stay. I said, how about some compensation for the crappy night stay (partial refund would have satisfied me). His response, oh we don’t do that, I said, ok then I’ll go ahead and leave an honest review. Also my wife spotted a roach in the bathroom.

    Steer away from this place. The property is in poor conditions. The front entry way windows are full of fingerprints as if they are never cleaned. You may not have an actual front desk person to answer questions but a person on a monitor. This would not be worth the price you are paying.

    The person (Zee) who checked us in charged me twice. She was not very helpful. I used my credit card it got declined, used another card and it was charged, now I have been charged twice, and I hope that one of the charges are dropped. When I tried to explain this to someone else, they said it was the Incidentals that was charged but I said no, I was charged the full $544. The toilet, when flushed, was flowing over from the top, the bottom part of the bed was filled with dust. I don't want to seem like I am complaining but it is just observations.

    NexTap Kiosk is not, nor ever what I am looking for in a hotel. Who do I even go to when there are issues (and there were) Broken shower holder, no desk chair, Dead TV Remote, etc. The NextTap Kiosk photocopies (electronically scans) your driver license and facial recognition. Who retains this info? I was forced to stay unexpectedly and even that was a wrestling match--getting locked out, etc. Also, there was always a line. Will never return, and will now avoid every LaQuinta that has this machine--and any other hotels.

    No staff only virtual check-in, but that was fine. The hotel is extremely outdated. It reminded me of a 1980s bad movie. The hallways smelled, the carpet was filthy, and the room was just terrible. There was no bottled water available to purchase in the vending machine, so I opted for a soda. Thank God we were only there for about 10 hours, so we just to slept in our clothes. We showered the next morning and left. Definitely not worth the money. Will never stay here again.

    Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Rate was cheap for the area. Rooms were run down, rust on door jams, bleach stains on the carpet. Breakfast was bagels, toast, cereal, eggs, coffee and juice. All that, for ths price I would deal with this hotel for the price. HOWEVER, we come to the issue of the check in kiosk. You talk to a person who is who knows where. It went fine. Having a kiosk isnt in itself the issue. The lack of seeing a staff person the entire 3 days of our stay felt unsafe. Plus made it impossibls to get assistance with extra towels etc. But the main issue was that it felt unsafe to not have someone, anyone, in the hotel keeping an eye on the area. If that were changed i would stay again.

    There is no front desk staff onsite. The front desk is a kiosk manned by someone in India with a likely fake Anglo name. The onsite staff only responds to other service requests. There is included breakfast, consisting of bread, bagels, frozen cream cheese and butter, jam and the eggs that come from a carton. Also cereal and milk. The coffee is ok, and there is Lipton tea, and juice. The best breakfast item is the waffles you make yourself using one of the two irons. The WiFi was poor, slow and dropped regularly. The TVs in the rooms failed to stream YouTube, didn't bother with anything else. I stayed there four days, housekeeping was supposed to clean the room every three days. Did not see them on the third day. Maybe they don't bother with a four day stay. The carpet was in need of replacing.

    Place was disgusting. Decided to leave 45 minutes after checking in when a cockroach walked over my foot. Emailed the manager to ask for a refund… 2 days later, still no response. There was also, damage to the walls, stained sheets, and a strong smell of mold. I ended up going to a different hotel, that was WAY better and not that much more expensive.

    Run, Run, Run. The worst hotel I ever stayed in my life. In 4 days they had to change my room 3 times. The first room was dirty bed linen and bathroom can’t flush. Second room broken sofa covers all peeled back when I finally get a manager to come up and see it he had the sofa removed and sent to trash. Third room was infested with roaches. Roaches everywhere. Run don’t go to this place I wish had read the reviews before I booked.

    Room was infested with roaches. Know one came to clean room after 5 days so we had to go get linen to make bed and clean room upon arrival hair was all over bathroom floor I ask to be put to another room after the 5 day it was a beautiful room but tv did not work and remote was busted but that was not the reason for the channels not changing I think the roaches were due to chips under bed had to put towels on floor to walk as after getting out of shower by the time you reached the bed my feet were extremely black so I had to get face cloth and wash feet at the Ben to put on shoes

    This was clearly not an isolated issue. I personally witnessed another guest check out immediately after viewing her room due to similar conditions, and there are multiple reviews describing the same problems. When I reported these concerns, I was refused a refund under the claim that I had “been in the room for five hours,” which is factually incorrect. I dropped my belongings off and left, only returning approximately 30 minutes before discovering and reporting the issues. The room was not used. Compounding the problem, there is no human staff available on site—only a kiosk to submit complaints—making it impossible to address urgent health and safety concerns in real time. Because of this, I contacted Expedia immediately. Given the unsanitary conditions, safety hazards, refusal to refund, lack of staff, and pattern of similar complaints, I will be contacting corporate and filing formal complaints with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and consumer protection agencies. This stay was stressful, unsafe, and unacceptable. I would strongly advise others not to book this property.

Went back down said he could help me sent to 223 door to room open big bag of trash at the door bed not made no one around went back down had to wait on the desk clerk putting a couple thousand cash putting into virtual machine finially got 323 the room had just been cleaned and very strong cleaning smell that was still there whe we returned the second first time ive ever rented a hotel that they didnt come in the afternoon and make up the room there was only one face towel for two people i got home at 1130 pm had to go back to virtual clerk asking for more towels luckily there was two towels the virtually check in makes this no longer La quinta personal service as i know it and spending 150.00 a night this is the worst experience if ever had with a hotal and i stay at laquinta 2 to 4 night a month

    We had to wait while the room was cleaned and were eventually checked in through the kiosk. The property itself feels run-down and dated. The elevator was extremely slow, the slowest I’ve encountered at a hotel. The room was just okay, nothing special. Hot water took a very long time to warm up and never got more than slightly above room temperature. To make matters worse, our key cards were deactivated before our checkout time, which was inconvenient and unnecessary. Overall, the stay felt poorly managed and understaffed. I would not stay here again unless there are significant improvements in staffing, maintenance, and basic guest services.

    There was a musty smell, dirt, mold, and rusty lamps and in the early morning, we saw a cockroach in the bathroom, which demonstrated how unsanitary the room was.     PROPERTY: Dirty. Debris everywhere. Hotel staff, though "helpful", were ALWAYS MIA. There's a "remote' check in kiosk who'd have to "call" someone. There's no on site front desk so the room phones are useless. The staff? It was like i was in a food store asking a shelf stocker to help, they barely knew anything. This Hotel seems to be running itself. It's dirty ALL AROUND. 1 elevator that takes forever. The complimentary breakfast was trash, just processed food. They take this "going green" thing too serious because there's no way, as a new check in, I'm recognizing all the use from the previous stay. I had to request the bedding be changed. THIS STAY WAS TERRIBLE and because i had booked and paid through expedia, i saw it through. Those photos online surely did fool me. This is a ran down <1 star property. Unless you can risk getting sick, do not book.

    For years we have been staying at this la Quinta but over the last few times its getting more and more terrible both me and my five year old son got bitten by mites on the bed and the room smells like car air freshener over garage, after the first day i asked for the room to be cleaned and it was the same way after,i asked if i could lysol the room and imagine they told me no,but i didn't care i did it anyway because the place smells and feels dirty, even the carpet in the room and outside walkway had mold and the guy on the little screen outside didn't care to much, one of the cleaners told me that this hotel is under new management and they dont care about anyone so i cant tell you all what to do but both me and my family will never step foot in that hotel again.

    The two rooms we received were filthy. Staff was walking around barefoot in the lobby and I checked in with a zoom meeting employee who was not physically there. When I got to my room we had no towels and a housekeeper showed up who spoke no English and took 3 unfolded towels out of a clear trash bag and put them in our room. We asked for washcloths and never received them. Our other room was equally as dirty and had no soap or shampoo. The other room also did not have pillow cases and when the housekeeper showed up she provided them stained linens. When we called down to ask about the gym that their listing said was nearby that could be used for free none of the staff knew anything about it. Horrific experience.

    I wouldn’t know about the staff as they have a virtual check in process… there is no human at the front desk to greet you. I never physically saw anyone who worked there. But the check-in and out process with the virtual agent did go ok for me. There were others in the lobby that were having difficulty. My room, 220, was dirty and obviously has a humidity issue as everything in the room was rusty. In the morning, my jeans felt damp. Because of this, I never even wanted to eat their breakfast. But it was available. I would not stay here again. The elevator was dirty. The tv didn’t have local channels, only internet based shows and app, which kept freezing. The conditions of the hotel do not reflect in their pricing. I expected better for $100+ per night. This hotel should’ve been more in the $50 a night range for the quality…

    The hotel is old. Not dirty just old. I couldn't tell which way was the hot water in the shower since it took so long, but eventually it was hot. The cold water faucet handle in the sink just kept rotating, had to find the perfect spot to stop the water. The guide on the TV wasn't matched up with the actual channel. Like channel 23 was channel 42. Not sure how that even happens. Bed was comfy though, and the breakfast was delicious.

    The hotel is disgustingly filthy. There are cacaroaches in the rooms and the breakfast is severely lacking in quality. The hardwood floors are sticky. The hotel check-in is a kiosk and the operator demands a credit card charge of $100 for incidencesals but there are none in the hotel. They are just making money off the float of my money. Stay far away from this hotel. There is a Best Western across the street.

The carpets in the room was DISGUSTINGLY dirty, hallway carpets look like they hardly been vacuumed in months, food on the floors of the elevator… Cleaning staff extremely rude when asked for towels… I had to go buy Lysol, air freshener, damp rid and a blanket to even make my stay bearable- they wouldn’t honor a refund.     El peor hotel al que he llegado en Estados Unidos. Viejo, con pésimo mantenimiento, paredes despintadas, pisos salidos, el ascensor es un vejestorio, sucio en general, las alfombras de la habitación eran puercas y negras. La puerta del baño no cerraba y nunca les dio la gana de cambiarnos o arreglarla. Los colchones terribles, estaban hasta doblados en la mitad. Parece que no los han cambiado desde que abrieron ese hotel. No hay quien atienda, no brindan servicio, todo es a través de un totem virtual a un call center. NUNCA REGRESARE.

    Let's go from there to a LADY in a KIOSK who is checking in a line of 9+ people and each taking 5 - 10 minutes and NO ONE AT THE FRONT DESK. Let's shoot over to the AC in the lobby and elevator not being on. The fountain in the front reflecting the rest of the experience. Not kept up The room covered in duct tape, the walls peeling in the halls, the spigot in the shower falling off the wall, the cracks in the ceiling.     The room was not clean. I have pictures roaches walking around as if they paid the bill little tiny bugs crawling on the bed. I did not sleep one second in that room did not sit on, but the corner of the bed cause I was terrified, went and sat in the lobby to eat, cause I was scared to bring anything into the room, dipped all of my things up and make sure I had it covered so nothing can get in the only nice thing about the room was the refrigerator in the microwave and the TV does the only thing that look like somebody took care of the bathtub is just got black spots everywhere It was just gross. I spoke to them front desk agent one finally got there and she said there’s nothing that could be done other than I’m calling the exterminator that’s all they were willing to do just absolutely nasty and I thought it was OK. I think I should get a refund. I had two rooms and both of them were Disgusting And I have pictures. They have the nerve to serve breakfast, so it’s no telling what those people who trust in that breakfast is eating because just roaches everywhere they should be calling the Board of health.

    No toilet paper holder. Wall paper pealing off the wall. Outlets not easily accessible and too few making it difficult to charge phones and electronics. No shampoo or conditioner. The price per night was far too excessive for the conditions we encountered. We we’ll not book a room in La Quinta again

    The carpet was sooooo nasty I had to wear socks and they turned black in moments. Furniture was stained and also a bit gross looking. No bugs or anything like that though. Having a microwave and fridge was nice. The free breakfast was sparse but better than nothing, coffee was decent. Definitely a mold issue throughout the hotel and the room was very humid so everything felt kind of damp. It's a budget hotel so I didn't expect much. Bed was comfy enough

    WE CHECKED IN THE ROOM HAD PAINTED OVER MOLD. WE SAT FOR 30 mins trying to decide what to do and couldn’t breathe. (5 of us) They moved us to a different room one floor up The wall paper was peeling back with mold behind it in the hallway. We walked into this room and walked out Our whole group was light headed and nauseous.     The outsourced “front desk staff” that was a guy located in India on a screen wasn’t a great impression or experience. Hallways smelled, room was dingy. Sink drained extremely slowly. Since it didn’t appear there was any staff in the lobby or building, it was pointless to ask for assistance. I will NEVER stay at this location again unless they clean it up and hire people to physically be present at the front desk.

    The rooms were not well kept at all. The rug was damped and smelled like wet dog my entire 4 days there. The bed was uncomfortable and the blanket was just a singular sheet. And there was barely any hot water. I would have to rush and do 5 minute showers before it became ice cold.

    Unfortunately I was not happy with my stay. Upon arrival there was a line of two other parties checking in with a virtual meeting kiosk, no employees in sight (in fact I never once saw an employee). While efficient the check in process was not courteous and many had issues. I advised the agent I had already paid and only approve the deposit being placed on my card, he assured me it would only be 100$ deposit, I’ve been changed again for the night. The deposit fell off, but the room night cleared again, not what I was expecting. The room was terrible. It smelled like a pool locker room; like chlorine, mildew and body odor. There was discolouration on the ceiling and wet patches. The bathroom lights wouldn’t stay on, and the tub so old its enamel had been worn away, it desperately needs to be resurfaced. All the light fixtures were covered in rust and there was grime on the walls and in the corners. The AC unit worked, but pumped out freezing cold wet air, I took that as a pro (we are in Florida), but the blankets were shoved in a drawer (that wasn’t even closed when I arrived) and stained. While the beds looked made, due to the state of the blankets I was wary. All in all, while it was close to the Amerant Bank Arena, I spent one uncomfortable evening and will not be recommending this hotel to anybody. I will be waiting the customary 7-10 days before disputing any charges that don’t fall off with my credit card company.

    Pretty dirty hotel. In room carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The room next to us was being aired out due to smoke, which made the hallway smell. There were stains in the shower. Breakfast was ok; bagels, waffles, cereal, eggs, coffee, juice. There was rarely someone at the front desk, there was a virtual front desk you could check in/out with people from a different country.

    Good parking and location. Hair was in my bed, on my pillows, and on the floor. Maybe they didn’t clean it well. Doors were slamming throughout the night in the hallway. The big bummer was that the room didn’t have any hot water, so the showers were freezing. There’s also another La Quinta Inn that is across the street which might make checking in slightly confusing.

    The elevator needs to be maintenance ASAP the last inspection is out of date and not done legally by state/city inspector. If you don't care about the business and or the people's comforts then you need to be reported to the BBB office for lack of attention to detail of a business, especially a hotel business with many people coming and going through the hotel.

    Ive stayed here 2 previous times, always notice high humidity the moment walking thru the doors. Rooms have been alright to stay for a quick night away. This time woke up with breathing issues, wheezing, noticed while stretching that on the desk was exposed/ damaged partical board and mold growing. Almost slipped in the shower due to unseen coating of something, feet got sticky from the carpet.No live person just virtual, they just said they handle it, which it wasnt clear what that ment.

    First room we received had dead bugs in the tub. Moved us to a new room. When we arrived the door was wide open with four fans drying the floor. Went back down stairs to find a new room. They changed the room because a plumber needed to do some repairs.     VERY disappointing! No one at front desk when we arrived. Checked in via kiosk that connected us to a human. He was difficult to understand. The process was slow, causing a line of folks behind us waiting to check-in and one couple in front of us who were having a very difficult time. Elevator is VERY slow. Hallway to room is dark & dreary. Room needs an update! Everything is old & tired. Alarm clock not fully functioning. Lampshades rusted & discolored. Curtain serves as "door" to closet; it hangs from a shower rod twice its width. Cold water faucet broken. Sink stopper missing. Sink & toilet dated. Mattress very soft; made noise everytime you sat on it or got into bed. Something missing from wall over bed, as evidenced by remnants of hardware that once held it up & conspicuous pencil markings. Insufficient towels. No kleenex. (Housekeeper rectified upon request.) No "Do Not Disturb" sign. Only one key card to room; we wanted two. No safe in room.

    Check-in and front desk staff are primarily remote. The only ice machin is on the ground floor. Only 1 elevator and that run very slowly. In the room, the AC unit was very very loud, as was the bathroom light/fan combo unit. The bed was uncomfortable, the fridge dirty and the room had a musty smell. Free breakfast was mediocre, toast, bagel, waffle and and strange looking egg patties.

    The first thing I noticed was an unpleasant odor in my room. The carpet looked worn and could have used either a deep cleaning or replacement. During my entire stay, I never once saw housekeeping. My sheets were never changed, the bathroom was never cleaned, and if I wanted fresh towels, I had to go to the front desk to get them myself. The hotel offers a continental breakfast from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m., but by 8:45 a.m., there was hardly anything left. On my last two mornings, I ended up going elsewhere for breakfast because there was simply no food available that late in the time window. For the price I paid, I expected at least basic daily upkeep of the room. Sadly, that never happened. I will not be staying here again. Sometimes it’s worth paying a little more for a place that provides proper service and comfort.

    This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The first room I was given was absolutely disgusting, there were roaches, visible mold, and a foul, lingering odor. I reported it to the front desk, and although they switched my room, the staff seemed completely nonchalant about the situation, as if this was normal. The second room wasn’t much better. It was located right next to a utility room, which meant constant noise, another awful smell, dirty carpet, and just an overall filthy feel. The elevator was painfully slow, and there was no sign of room service at all during my stay. To make matters worse, the pictures shown online are completely misleading, the real condition of the hotel is the exact opposite. I’m beyond disappointed that I spent my hard-earned money here. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not. Never again.

    For a smoke free hotel the hotel reeked of marijuana and my partner is highly allergic. We checked in the put us in one room where the door looked like it was busted open at one point the second room was nicer but the tv remote was missing the power button there was lint all over the fan in the bathroom and looked like the fan could fall out at any second. Trying to get in touch with the front desk to get new towels was impossible and when I finally did after walking over to the check in kiosk I was told towels would be sent up to which I then received a phone call saying there were out of towels and when I did finally receive towels after going to the lobby for a fourth time the front desk employee had beer in his hands and gave me pool towels

    Good hotel but had a broken mirror in the room , the receptionist knew when I mentioned it to them . The breakfast was standard nothing too great . But overall a decent stay

    The automated check in took forever. There was a long line. Also, no air conditioning in the lobby when I check in made it miserable. I understand automation but not having a real person behind the desk made it feel less welcoming.

    The room I had mold in the ceiling and cockroach. The carpet in the room and hallway was filthy. Had to change room. The second room was much better no carpet but the toilet seat had no lid. The bed was comfortable. I had a 3 nights stay. On the flip side the staff was friendly and helpful.

    I had a very uncomfortable experience. The cleanliness was lacking, and the bathtub was in terrible condition. The check-in process through a kiosk felt impersonal and inconvenient. Overall, the hotel is outdated and in serious need of remodeling. I would not stay there again. There was a roach on the wall.
