The amount of furniture and the interior space are both excellent. There is possibly for improvement regarding the breakfast service, especially since there are no restaurants serving breakfast in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Need cups in room; drink water in room.

Beautiful property and conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. A little sad that there was no pool or room service, but that did not take away from our stay. Thank you for a clean spacious and beautiful experience.

Hotel general manager was very disrespectful, condescending, and rude. I understand I accidentally soiled my sheets after surgery, however I paid for them and offered to buy my own linens to not have the issue again. I felt very belittled and bullied while in a vulnerable state. I will be calling Marriott corporate as I do have him recorded being very argumentative and rude to me in the lobby in front of staff and guest.

The hotel is a great location and it's very clean. The biggest downside was our shower didn't have hot water. We told the hotel and they just said it was the knobs. We spent five minutes or so trying to get hot water and noting. Told the hotel again and they just said it was the knobs.

While the front desk staff was very nice, the gentleman we had was very difficult to understand. The rooms were nice but the minimalist design was a bit too much. No dresser and no drawers in the bathroom. A lot of wasted space that could be much better utilized.

Excellent hotel. We checked in last minute late at night after a cancelled flight, and the front desk was so understanding and accommodating. Great customer service, clean comfortable room, and one of the quietest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Exactly what we needed after a crazy day of travel complications.

Really not the same experience this time around. The walls of the bathroom had toothpaste spit all over them… requested to get the room cleaned and this never got addressed. Super gross. Also, the beds are OMG back breaking. Upgrade is needed desperately for a comfortable night sleep. The pillows too…. Just sub par all round. Not nice to go to the back of the building and walk through a cloud of weed smoking employees… stayed a week and wanted to leave day 2… the amount of money I spent for a week stay can’t be recouped but I will never spend my money here again and am questioning my status with Marriot altogether.

Cold non carpeted floors, confusing shower, lack of a shower chair even though I was told that the room came with it, no microwave in room, no dressers, iron wasn’t working, staff hardly spoke clear English, did not give me all of my packages. The room was fine, but at random points in the night I woke up to a very loud walkie talkie in the hallway outside my door. One of the desk clerks is a tiny bit hard to understand because of his strong accent, but I think that’s probably just a me issue.

There was a free shuttle operating in the Sawgrass Mills area and this made it even more convenient to get to the various wings of the Mall, restaurants and other places that were within the vicinity. The bad This hotel advertised its roof as a place to relax and unwind but it is only used for events. There is no swimming pool. Breakfast is an add on. The ugly I stayed here for 4 nights. The entire time the room was never cleaned, the trash was removed, bed made up, towels changed and coffee replenished. That’s it. You have to wear slippers in the room all the time. We met an empty hair conditioner bottle and left without it ever being refilled.

Front desk and Breakfast staff are so warm welcoming. This is my second visit and the service is consistent. Even the housekeepers were very nice and exceeded our expectations. We love this hotel and are currently planning our next visit.

Allowed us to store our luggage even though we were very early for check in. Sent us a message when our room was ready. Very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean.

Staff was very nice . My room wasn’t ready even at 5 pm . They did give me 12 pm check out however the noise from housekeeping in the hallway which started at 830 am kept waking me up . I booked the hotel because I went to a concert the night before and like to sleep late .

Staff members were welcoming from arrival until departure. Room was clean and spacious with a comfortable lay out. The fact that within 3 to5 minutes i could access shopping or dining really served me well. I would go back to this property in the future and i definitely will recommend it to friends and family.

I normally only leave negative reviews when the poor customer service is just absolutely atrocious and this is one of those instances. I’ve stayed here at AC Hotel in Sunrise at Sawgrass Mall multiple times when up in Broward for business and was usually pretty happy overall with the accommodations and service, which is why for the 4th of July I decided to bring my family with me so that after I finished with my work obligations we could enjoy a relaxing evening on the rooftop lounge to watch the local fireworks. To my absolute shock, they closed the rooftop lounge to paying guests under the guise that “corporate” mandated it due to “inclement weather”. There was no rain, no lightning and no thunder in the area the evening in question, not to mention the fact that they were saying this all day so obviously it was pre-planned. This is an absolute error in judgment on the part of management and they couldn’t have cared less; there was a whole crowd of people that kept going to the front desk to complain and it was obviously apparent that quite a large number of guests were expecting to make use of the amenity on the one night of the year that it would absolutely be most valuable. Do you think they cared? Nope, just kept telling everyone the same obviously false story about corporate making the decision due to the mysteriously absent “inclement weather”. I have no plans on staying here ever again and I think many of the other guests from that night feel exactly the same.

We stay at this hotel all the time. The location can't be beat as far as shopping and dining is concerned. The only areas of improvement would be a better housekeeping and a microwave in the room. Whoever cleaned our room didn't do a good job this time. But the hotel accommodated us with sincere apologies and a offer of a free breakfast.

Property was ok, our door lock wasn’t working and took 30min for someone to come look and didn’t have the right equipment to get us in. Next morning at 4:30 am we had water start pouring out of the ceiling into the room. We had to grab all our stuff and evacuate. Unfortunate and very inconvenient.

We had an excellent stay at AC hotel in sawgrass mills. Rooms are clean and spacious, we stayed in the king size room which was very comfy. Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Only thing I would suggest is more disposable bins in the hotel and around the premises. Overall it was 10/10

Extremely happy when we arrived about 11am, there was no hesitation at all about getting us checked in. Upon checking in, we were advised about the arena, which we were there for a concert. They gave us a map of the outlet mall and parking paper for the dash for valet areas.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Sawgrass Mall, Noise could be better, can hear doors slamming closed often. No pool or room service, so make sure you are aware of that, but great experience all together.

We stay at this property on a regular basis when we fly into town. The only thing I don’t like it is the bathroom sliding door. It is heavy and hard to push closed (it’s a glass barn door )

Amazing

Great hotel. Spotlessly clean. The only rather large issue was the loud noises all night like something was slamming.

It was great, the staff and service amazing and the room was wonderful. I will be staying here again.

Smelt delightful and calming. The hotel location is ideal. I was under the impression that this hotel had its own restaurants. None the less ,my overall experience was nice.

Always a 10/10 experience from checking with Brittney to the cleaning staff to checking out with Lennox. Good for eating options and shopping

The people

One person at checkin was not enough. We had a periodic noise coming from the AC blower in our room that happened every 1 1/2 hours. Called maintenance, they couldn’t find anything, and left, telling me that they would come back and check on it. We went out for the evening to concert, came back, and listened to this thing go off for about 5 minutes 5 times that night. Food on buffet was not replenished and some trays practically empty.
