    Disappointing Experience: Loud AC and Poor Breakfast Service. I was quite disappointed with my recent stay. The air conditioning unit was incredibly noisy and didn't seem to cool the room properly. Additionally, the breakfast service was highly unsatisfactory. On my first morning, I arrived 15 minutes before closing, and everything was already cleared away. When I brought this to the receptionist's attention, she dismissively pointed out that they were closing soon. Taking her cue, I came down much earlier the next morning, but the selection was still incredibly sparse. The waffle batter was empty, and the hot food trays for eggs and sausage were completely bare. After I asked the front desk for assistance, it took a significant amount of time for her to return with just a few sausages. The lack of preparation and poor customer service made for a very frustrating experience.

    There were stains on the bedspread, the carpet, and the curtains. The TV was so pixelated and the sound so garbled that it was unwatchable. Large empty cardboard boxes were in some hallways for days. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way or latch. Apparently the place is being remodeled, but that’s no excuse to neglect the rooms that guests are currently staying in.

    Parking was ok. Staff was ok. The room was dark, very low lighting. The carpet and bed covers were stained. One bed was concurved, my back ached just looking at it. The metal cover on the water knob fell off during my shower. Won't be back.

    Overall a fairly decent hotel. Nothing fancy. Free breakfast was nice to have available. The main thing for lower stars for us is there’s no elevator so lifting heavy luggage wasn’t easy but for anyone with physical disabilities it could be a challenge,

    Nothing The room sheets smell like mildew the walls peeling and nasty. The bathroom shower nasty. The room smells in general . The carpet feels nasty and gritty. The a/c didn’t work. Asked for at least half of my money back only got %25 back. Just be aware on what you’re getting yourself into staying here.

    Location 1 Had to recharge my room key daily 2 Limited receptacles in the room 3 Shower water never got hot 4 I could hear everything that the person in person in the adjoining room which included singing, dropping cans on the floor, and even falling asleep with the TV on 5 had to get the linen changed because there were unknown spots on the bedspread The people in the adjoining room was not being out of the way. The door that separated the two rooms meant you could hear everything.

    Just a terrible stay. We left after one day and ate the cost of the second day just to escape. Poor amenities and creepy beds with stained bed covers. Really? When a bed linen is shot, just throw it away. Breakfast was dreadful with nothing there to eat. The attendant guy was there but didn't bother to put more stuff out. There was an hour left of the breakfast and they were obviously closing it down. One of our worst hotel experiences to date. Oh, and also has a ridiculously loud ac unit as well.

    Staff was great, room was clean but "worn out". They are in the middle of upgrades and renovations so I feel this may be changing soon. One bed was literally crooked because obviously only one side gets slept on, but suprisingly it was still very comfortable. Air and heat worked great. Not spotless clean but clean and neat and like I said, quite worn out and old. The white bedcovers were quite stained but freshly clean and yes, I smelled them. Breakfast was huge and plenty of variety. Staff was very nice. Parking is quite minimal so parking on the side and back didn't feel quite as 'safe' but there wasn't any loitering or anything. We enjoyed our stay!

    After a complete nightmare at a different hotel I transferred over to this one they were more than willing to accommodate what I needed done and working with my point system crap that was going on from the other hotel refunding me and no deposit form this place was an absolute God send a true blessing very clean rooms friendly staff quiet very very reasonable wonderful breakfast good scenery located around everything closed within walking distance I can't speak for the staff enough the staff at that front desk that I have had the pleasure of dealing with in the last 3 days have been absolutely wonderful

Oh and if ur black this is not the area of town to be in . Profiling is a hobby in Summerville . The hotel has a lot of potential, but for the wrong area of town .

    There were roaches in this hotel I actually thought it was a fluke initially but I was killing roaches my entire stay. At one point when I spoke to the front desk receptionist she actually said “ I haven’t had any complaints” she also said “I mean it’s a hotel we have roaches”. I have stayed in too many hotels to name and I have NEVER I MEAN NEVER SEEN ROACHES. She proceeded to give me a nice full can of RAID 😳 haven’t had any complaints huh but you have roach spray on deck , Ms Please! Unfortunately because of the time frame there were no hotels available.

    This has to be the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.     My first impression, the property was relatively clean. The staff welcoming. I was put on the second floor. And there was no elevator available at the time of my stay. The staff was able to help carry our bags upstairs due to I have medical issues. There was no way I was going to be able to do it. Down the hallways leading to my room, several different light fixtures were in the process of being renovated so there were wires exposed. An unmanned ladder was left all day on Saturday in the walkway. The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. The door for the bathroom slides open and close. The first time my son went to the bathroom, the handle broke. I did inform the staff but didn’t see it as a reason to change rooms. She was very polite and willing to move us. We left out bag with toiletries at home. The staff was very sweet and gave us extra shampoo and conditioner because the bottles were small. They were very accommodating. At check out, we needed help again to get the bags downstairs. Again, a staff member assisted us quickly and made the inconvenience of the elevator out of service not so bad. Honestly, we would stay again. Hopefully a little further in the renovation stage.

Shower door had issues and the hinges are coming out of the wall. Beds weren't all that comfortable. At breakfast, the waffle batter clogged and had ended up in a big mess on the floor. There's not really enough parking for the number of rooms. The staff are really trying though. So I would stay there again before I pass final judgment. It's hard work to turn around and rebrand a property.

It’s only 40 minutes from downtown Charleston. And an hour to 2 hours to public beaches depending on where you go. My main goal was traveling to the goose creek military base which was 25-30 minutes from the hotel which was perfect since I didn’t mind the drive.

    The staff was absolutely amazing!! Nice, helpful, perfection!! We stayed in 233 and our neighbors all kept their doors open and traveled between rooms all night which was odd, but they didn't disrupt. When we got there, they had a table in the pool but the ladies working went in and removed it. It was very loud at night with the club next door. All in all, will defiantly consider them again. A very special kudos to the front desk clerk. The vending machines were down, and she gave me one of her cokes!! Above and beyond!

    For a one night stay only enjoyed the most comfortable mattress and pillows, warm and cold foods available for breakfast, and friendly staff. Room remodel in bathroom was not quite finished-trim needed paint , room was small, not enough parking available.

    Overall, the place was fine. The room was clean and not bad for the price. However, when we arrived the door to our room was broken so we were moved for the night only and would have to move again in the morning. In the morning the door to the original room was still broken so we were moved to another room. While out for the day, the staff proceed to move our stuff out of the room without our consent or any notice to another room due to a "system issue". The only way we found this out was when we returned from being out all day, the key to our room did not work and there were people inside our room. The lady at the front desk had no idea to start where our stuff was or the fact that we had been moved to now a third room at all. Eventually, our belongings were found to have been moved to another room, and we were now staying in there. I have never had this happen to me staying at any location before, let alone have this done with no notice to us at all until we came back at night to find people in the room we thought was ours!

    Renovations apparently means painting a wall green. The room was not clean, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, and the construction workers were still loitering in the parking lot (and outside my window) past 9:30pm. There were lots of holes in the window shade, making that so much worse.

    Property is under construction for a remodel. The exterior shows the improvement but the interior still needs a lot of work. No elevator that I saw, just stairs to get to my second floor room. Saw a roach exit the bathroom & I felt dirty the rest of the stay. Left early because I didnt want to stay longer. Restaurants nearby had loud music playing well into the night after midnight.

    Interior was ok, stained walls, the bathroom fan doesn’t work, the towels were very small, my grandson stands 6”3 barely fits around his waist and grand daughter at 6ft same results, we did ask for some more towels but they’re just small .

    Keita at front desk was fun and helpful. Hotel is being renovated, and is needed, but all in all for the price it was a good value and no real issues and would stay again over paying twice as much next door.

    Hotel is under renovation. Room was dirty. There was a food container shoved behind the TV. The wall looked like it had food thrown against it. Sink was clogged. Small black hair stuck to the wall

    It took over 30 min to get checked in even though I booked on line and paid in advance . Front desk clerk was bogged down with recollecting security deposits from long term “stays” this seems to be an issue with some hotels that are listed on hotels.com . This should be disclosed to hotels.com so customers are aware of issues that long term stays present to travelers . If this was disclosed I would have chose a different property so I didn’t have to wait why they ran kept running one of these long term stays debit cards to get their 100.00 deposits .

    The people at front desk were very friendly but the rest of the hotel was awful. Night club right outside our window so had thumping music until 2am and then was woken up early by landscape digging outside our window. Bed were lumpy and floors were disgusting. My white socks were brown within 30 mins. Door to room had big gaps, mold in bathroom, places throughout the room that were falling apart. Water coming out of sink smelled of metallic.

    I don't think I would stay there again seeing how my last stay was for 2days and both days as I was trying to go to sleep they started power washing and scraping the building and it was so loud there was no sleeping. During check-in no one said anything about them working on the building or I would t of stayed there

    Well I work night shifts so as I was going to bed around 7:30-8 am ppl started power washing the windows and scraping them so I didn't get to goto sleep at all then after a long night last night they started right back up this morning power washing and scraping so I didn't even extend my stay like I was going to bc I have been up going on 3days and I needed some sleep. I feel like if your going to have ppl doing that kind of work you should tell your guess because as a night shift worker we sleep mornings and midday.... If I would have been told I would of booked a different place to stay bc truly I feel like I wasted my money by not being able to sleep
