Location is nice and lots of food within walking distance in the area. Breakfast was hotel breakfast… Room was clean. Shower was great. Bed was very comfortable. A/C could have been a little better but it cooled the room just not as cool as I would have liked, especially when it was 105 outside. Pool area looked nice although I did not use. All in all a great place to stay. Would stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were awesome and very helpful; the breakfast had lots of options and was well stocked.

My husband and I had a great stay. Our room was very clean. There were a few old red stain spots on the carpet from previous guest and the carpet was old. But not a show stopper. The staff were all nice, professional and helpful. Breakfast was always good. The Hotel bar lounge was fully stocked with spirits and alcoholic beverages but it was the entire week of our stay. When asked we were told been closed since Covid in 2019.

The gym is very skimpy and the equipment didn’t work while we were there. HOWEVER, the property is very clean and the staff are very nice. Breakfast was wonderful!

Hotel was fine and staff was great. Will not stay there again. I’m a native South Carolinian and refuse to pay almost $7 to park at a hotel in Nexton after paying over $200 for one nights stay. All the stores right around the hotel have free parking but not the hotel. They started charging on Jan 15 to park just to stay there. I will make sure I stay on the other side of the interstate on the Summerville side. Stay away from the hotels in Nexton shopping complex.

My complaint is the new parking charge. Absolutely ridiculous for the cost of the room and then to charge for parking. I will miss staying at this hotel, specifically because the parking charge added by the greedy cooperation. Hope your employees get a raise for dealing with increased complaints due to this because they are definitely receiving them...

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I met 3 ladies at the front desk and even the housekeeping supervisor was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. There was a situation that happened to my room before I checked in and it was taken care of immediately. The lady who was working in the kitchen wasn't very friendly. But the food was great.

The room was indeed very clean but the studio kitchen was old, with no draws for the silverware that sat on top of an old red microwave. The new si gel serve coffee pots (instead of the carafe pots they had when I stayed here 3 years ago) make awful watery tasteless coffee. No paper towels in the kitchen. When I asked they said they don’t put them in the room because some guests don’t use them and they have to throw it away with every new quest. Well that’s the cost of doing business. No hand towels in the bathroom! Given an awful old studio at the very very end of the long hall near the staircase. Clearly if you book through a third party (booking, Priceline) they give you the oldest least desirable accommodations. Breakfast had no fruit. Same old menu every day. NO healthy options like a fiber based cereal or whole grain bread.

The room set up was nice During check in I was in a rush to make an event. I paid for the room prior to coming for my stay. I was checked in by ms. Julia, in which I "MADE CLEAR" that I paid for the room, had a confirmation and knew about the deposit in which I called the day before to confirm everything. After checking in Ms. Julia asked me to insert my card for payment. I asked, "was the payment for the $20 deposit?" In which she replied back a yes. I then inserted my card only to be charged $249 and some change. Then had to wait a WHOLE HOUR to have this issue corrected and was late for the event. Light bulbs were out in the room also near the bathroom The main door did not lock Bad Wifi

The bed had a 'low spot' in the middle that one of us would inevitably roll into during the night, but that was truly the only issue we had- we had a great experience overall.

The bathroom soap was not replaced and left was a used soap in the dish for us. The hanging hand towels in the bath looked used. We did get a mock at 9:30 from housekeeping checking to see if we were still in our room too.

The staff was very helpful and super friendly. Our suite was very clean and well stocked with toiletries and towels. Tried to book the night before as well but could not get any assistance through booking.com. The worker at the front desk was great so my issue was not with the property but with booking.com. They really need a good customer service number published somewhere!

We traveled with our pet and they were very accommodating. I was able to request a first floor room close to an exit. My pup needs to go out at night and I am happy to report there was outside security when I went out.

Marriott Residence Inn is always a solid choice. This location is located in a community called Nexton. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the hotels. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My two concerns: the a/c wasn't working in the hall of the 4th floor and the pillows could have been a bit better.

We had the best experience here. We were able to check in 1 hr early and were very grateful. We had 3 very tired kids on our hands! Our room was the perfect size for kid activities and for us to not be all on top of each other. Walls had some food stains and the garbage disposal was definitely used prior to use showing, but otherwise we were in luxury. Our only issue happened when our 5 yr old stopped up the toilet. We couldn't find a plunger and maintenance wasn't there so we had to go buy one.

The room was nice, showers had good water pressure. Wished the ice maker worked in the freezer, but I didn't need it as the ice machine downstairs was sufficient. The gym was also nice. Didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. The nighttime check-out supervisor wasn't very friendly.

I did not get the type of room I paid for through Expedia. I paid for a room that has two Queen size bed and they only had a room with King size bed to accommodate 3 adult size persons. It had a sofa sleeper but it was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

I wish this were home and have now asked my husband to build us a home similar to our studio we stayed in at residence inn. I wish I could come here daily. The worst hotel experience I’ve had in a long time. My family of 5 didn’t have an operational toilet in our hotel room for the final 2 days of our 3 day trip. I talked to multiple employees multiple times. They said the fixed it but it was never fixed. When I’d tell them it still didn’t work they just said, “there’s nothing else they could do”. Nothing else they could do?! They could’ve moved us to a room with a functional toilet, comped the room, had maintenance actually fix the problem. There’s a lot they could’ve done, but didn’t. Very disappointed.

Great location in Nexton, close to a variety of restaurants. Very clean, super friendly staff, plus a good breakfast to start the day! My wife loved the kitchen, just the right size for two people!

I liked the convenience to shopping and restaurants. We were confused as to where the main entrance was because there was not an overhang to park under. It was suppose to rain and I was traveling with my 91 yr old mother. Everything was great except for a stain in the toilet that didn’t look like a stain. lol. Front counter attendant was awesome!!

I checked in at 5pm and the dishwasher was running when i got to my room. It was kind of annoying but I understand staff has many rooms to clean. There were a ton of hotel options in the area and I'm not sure I would stay again. The bed was okay. Felt like the mattress needed replacement or flipping.

Room bed linen stale happened twice even after switching rooms. 2nd 1st floor room had strong dog scent in living room area. Staff asked at checkout how the stay was but did not offer any compensation except for saying sorry

Ketchup/food stains stuck on fridge in kitchenette. Medication gel pill and gum wrapper under the bed. My dog almost ingested it. A lug nut on floor, dust balls around bedroom bed wall. They claim to clean up to COVID code, offered to clean after my arrival. That should be done before guest arrive. Obviously that room wasn't cleaned or checked by supervisor.

This is the perfect place to stay. The property itself is beautiful with a great pool and patio area. It sits within a entertainment area and there are several very good restaurants right outside your door. The staff is personable and professional. Just a great all around experience.

Our location was on the first floor which was nice for easy access. The room had a strange mold smell upon first entering. We all ended up catching a cold during our stay. We requested room service when checking in however we never received room service unless we requested it each day. We had four people staying in our room and they would short us towels and utensils each time they cleaned forcing us to return to the front desk and remind them that four people were staying in the room. Location was fine and there was plenty of local restaurants to try out. Hotel breakfast was standard but quite empty usually.

Our main complaint was we requested a king bed and accessible. I called two days ahead to confirm this. We checked in and went to our room which had a queen bed. Then reassigned to another room that had a king bed but was down two long hallways. It was too far for my husband to walk to go down for breakfast so we weren’t able to take advantage of that amenity. Why would a handicap room be so far away? We loved the location and the room was very nice and expensive. I just wish the location of the room had not been so inconvenient.

This was a great hotel. The location is perfect to I-26 and the surroundings area has a lot to offer as well. Just minutes away from downtown Summerville and 30 mins from Charleston. The staff at the desk were very friendly. Not always at the desk when you walked up but didnt take them long to attend to needs when they came out of the office (theres a camera so they know when someone is there). The only thing ill say is that housekeeping is almost nonexistent. There were times when we'd walk the halls ans other guests would have theor trash or sheets or towels outside their doors so they'd be picked up. Only time housekeeping came to our room was about a hour prior to checkout. Now i dont know their hosekeeping policies, but anytime we needed towels, etc we had to go to the desk. Not anything to give this hotel or staff ill marks, it was excellent. Id certainly stay there again and would 10/10 recommend and would give them 9 out of 10 stars.

This hotel is understaffed in regard to housekeeping. We asked three times to have to dishwasher emptied that was full of dirty dishes when we arrived. They have plenty of people at the front desk- but they “can’t do anything about housekeeping, and can only send a message to them.” The shower and beds had hair in them and one bed even had a nail clipping in it. That was the only time they changed the sheets… I’m pretty sure they only have one house keeping person on staff, we never saw a single other person. Our room never received any attention during a four day stay. The fixtures in the room are very nice, but it doesn’t matter if you have to take care of the room yourself while on vacation. We had to ask for towels every single time. It’s a do your own room service situation. Staff were very polite overall; however, helpless due to short staffing in housekeeping.

The people were EXCEPTIONALY friendly.

Breakfast had limited options for Vegan/Vegetarians.

The staff was great. The room left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was filthy. The gym was adequate, but there were no sanitizing wipes to clean the equipment. Even before COVID, that was gross.

The staff was very polite! Regularly greeted when we passed through the lobby. We were given a list of food recommendations when we checked in.

The check in associate was very friendly. Our room was large and clean. My request for a late check out was immediately granted by the manager. Breakfast was very good and clean. I had a nice little workout in your exercise room. Everyone on the staff at the Summerville Residence Inn had a great work ethic. 5star review!!!

I must say my family and I loved our stay here! Everything was very clean! The best part was the complimentary breakfast everyday! They were well equipped for Covid safety, mainly during breakfast! There are no complaints here! Will definitely stay again. We recommended the hotel to my sister-in-law who extended her vacation. She left the hotel she was in and booked here and immediately sent us a picture of her room, she was very satisfied! Thank you

Extremely nice hotel, very quiet, pet friendly. It was great to have washer, dryer on site. Close to great food places.

It was overall a great place to stay. The temperature in the bedroom was hot while kitchen & dining room maintained cooling at 62 degrees. With it being summertime, we were sweating through the night. But the facility is very nice. Nice pool area. The area around hotel is extremely nice with many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Overall nice stay.

First let me say that do not look at the pictures and trust your room will look like that. I even called the morning of our reservation to confirm the amenities for our specific reservation and when I arrived was told that was not the type of room we reserved. Other issues: the room was not cleaned properly. The light switch in the bathroom had brown smears on it, shower had to be cleaned before we could use it, the dishes were not clean, and the couch had a large tare on the arm. We've stayed at much less expensive hotels and found better rooms and service.

Checkin went great, less than 5 minutes. Got to the room and everything was clean as expected. Everyone around facility was so pleasant. Def recommended for your visit.
